Great products to choose from. Easy filtering when choosing foods (gluten free, dairy free). Delivery is very quick. We have liked and used every product we have ordered we are not wasting food.

I've been a member with Thrive Market for almost four years now. I've saved $5,745.37 with them off of retail pricing since then (about $1400/year). I've been doing 1-2 orders a month on average. Any problems or questions I've had with them have been answered with ease and quite fairly. Their stock was more limited four years ago, but it's been growing and I imagine it will continue to! (especially with feedback and requests). I appreciate how they give a clear background for most of the products. I appreciate how well and ecologically they've packed things 99% of the time. (When it wasn't right, things were fixed with ease and care). I also appreciate that for every paid membership, they donate one to a family or cause in need to support ease and accessibility of healthy living for everyone. They make it easy to donate at every purchase when that works for others. I certainly do some shopping elsewhere, but Thrive Market has been a core store for me. I am a satisfied customer and looking forward to my next order^_^

Their products are wonderful with great prices. Free delivery at $49.00 was really perfect until this Covid... but hopefully they are back on track with timely shipments.

I placed a small $20 order one year ago (May 2016), using their free month trial. I can see in my email account that I received a flurry of emails from them over the next three weeks (all promotional) and then the emails stopped, and I never used them again, or heard from them until last week when I received an email notice that my auto-renewal was declined (credit card expired- fortunately). Until then I had no idea I was a member. They claim they sent me an email originally letting me know they were ending the free trial and charging my credit card ($60?) to become a member, but I never received that. The lady I spoke to just now suggested I had blocked their emails or it was going into spam folder, but that doesn't explain why I suddenly started receiving their emails again just fine, but only when my card was declined for auto-renewal. Very suspicious about this, and feel totally hussled. Will definitely never do business with them again and will be spreading the word any way I can.

The product may be great but their customer service and customer privacy is extremely poor. My account (that hadn't been used since 2016) was hacked this week. $235 in charges and reactivating my membership at $59 charged to my debit account. When I called the customer service line the girl was able to do little more than help me change my password. Was unable to even remove the scammers address from my account! Apparently "Hung Bui" needed someone else to pay for their $235 worth of groceries. She was unable to assist in removing my payment information and their system was extremely slow and not allowing me to remove my information. "Sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes for it to show effect"! That is not ok when someone has access to the account and it may take 30-40 minutes. Even worse than that she had no leadership or supervisors to escalate the problem to. I'm so disappointed in a company that promotes itself to be wholesome and giving back to its community, that it would not provide the support for it's customers or employees to have supervisory staff available at all working times.

Thrive Market uses a secure credit card processor called Braintree - a subsidiary of PayPal - for all credit card transactions. Braintree does not store entire credit card numbers. Instead, they assign a unique, encrypted payment "token" to each transaction to ensure your information remains secure. For this reason, only the member is able to remove their payment information from the site, can take up to 30-minutes after an account is canceled to be possible. Depending on the day and time supervisors are not avilable however is one is requested you will receive an email or call back at the earliest convenience.

Cancelling your "free" membership is almost impossible. They charge you with fees that they never let you know about. We ordered two things once - a year a go - and just got charged $60 with no warning, no notification, and no way to complain it. This company is complete nonsense and has horrible costumer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

When I signed up for Thrive Market it was very clear that I would be charged for membership after my 30 day trial period. During this period, I ordered three times, using a great discount code on products that were already less expensive than any place else I could find. Very very happy with the entire experience.

Then just before my trial period ended, I read many bad reviews from this and another website. The most common complaints were that they did not know they would be charged a membership fee after 30 days, which I cannot understand as it was made very clear to me from the start. In fact, they even sent me an email reminding me that my trial period would end in 5 days and that I would be charged $59 if I did not cancel. The other common complaint was that it was impossible to cancel.

So to test this out I clicked on the "end your access" link in the email. It gave me a phone number to call, which I did the next day and the representative offered me three additional deals (15 day extension of the trial period, 6 month membership and $15 of $50 purchase). When I turned the deals down he immediately canceled my account. I did not feel at all pressured to stay signed up or accept the new deals. I was quite surprised at how easy it was to cancel. The only negative part was that I had to wait on hold for about 15 minutes before I could speak to anyone.

So that is my Thrive Market experience. I am very impressed by them and expect that I will reactivate my account with them in the near future.

They clearly tell you, YOU ARE MAKING A COMMITMENT TO AUTOMATICALLY START A ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP IF YOU ACCEPT THE FREE TRIAL! In caps just like that. They even add it to the total when you check out. People these days are so friggin lazy and careless, then when they mess up wanna blame everybody else for there foolishness.

I just received my box. Most of the stuff looks okay, but the Coconut Cream & Almond milk I got was punctured and had gotten over everything and the box was really messed up.

Unlike most reviews posted here, I have not experienced poor customer service. I have had 2 orders over the last year that had issues - in one, an item exploded during shipping (they told me to keep anything still useable but replaced my entire order free of charge AND gave me a free shipping credit for my following order which is 5 star service there), the other had a defective product - they issued a credit code for my next order and free shipping. Very nice and professional conversations and treatment. No complaints there. COMPLAINTS: 1. Super slow shipping issues, they have improved vastly, but never less than 1 week waiting which doesn't work for me. 2. Shipping Fee's - wth a membership $$$ I don't feel I should have to pay for shipping. If the shipping itself was faster, I'd order more from Thrive b/c their product selection is awesome and usually cheaper than my Amazon Prime prices - but w/ my Amazon membership I don't pay for shipping and I get it in two days... and I usually need the food b/c I'm running low. It just doesn't work out for me the way I plan. 3. Membership price is very high and I don't save enough b/c I don't buy enough here --- b/c of the shipping speed. This is not for me and I won't be renewing.

These people auto enrolled me into a $60 membership without my knowledge. The customer service woman said that I agreed to be enrolled when I made my purchase at check out! I told her that No one should be allowed to check out anything UNLESS they are enrolled and they KNOW this! They trick you! And THAN GOD I caught it in enough time to get a one time refund. She told me, the next time you purchase, you will be auto enrolled and cant get a refund! I said... OH I WONT BE PURCHASING FROM HERE AGAIN! Ill go to vegan essentials!

I am so excited that I accidentally stumbled upon Thrive Market! They have so many options and gluten free items available and so many different brands! It makes shopping for gluten-free fun and exciting. My husband can't have gluten in it because of a medical diagnosis. I bake cookies and breads for him weekly. There's some things that most of us take for granite that I'm not able to make for him. Like saltine crackers, Ritz crackers and just finding a good cracker that's bigger than 1" x 1" is so difficult to find. There are so many options available it's unbelievable! There's all kinds of pretzels and even peanut butter stuffed pretzels, oh my gosh! Just so many things I could go on and on and on. Needless to say I placed two orders in 24 hours totaling over $250. My husband's gonna be so surprised when our boxes of goodies come from Thrive Market. They will definitely be my go to for buying all of our gluten-free options. I am a bargain shopper, I know how much things should cost so I know when things are overpriced. They have great prices on all of their items.

Normally it's expected that you'll be paying a little extra for 'healthy' or special diet products. Thrive Market makes it a lot easier. I was a customer about 5 years ago, had to take a break from the subscription for various reasons, but I'm back as a member. I have a surprising amount of friends/family with special dietary needs, so I just buy whatever I enjoy, and inevitably I ALWAYS have food around to accommodate my peers - whether they're vegan, keto, paleo, gluten intolerant, diabetic, or just a regular ol' health nut. I live in a rural area so it's really nice having a service that can deliver these products to me - otherwise I'd have to drive about an hour and 30 minutes to the nearest Whole Foods, which is way overpriced.

Once in awhile Thrive will offer a product at a higher price than my grocery store offers, but so far that's only been 2 items I've ever purchased. I still buy them from Thrive anyway because I fully support their ethics and their cause. Plus, it's never more than a dollar difference if it is more expensive.

The membership fee is negligible- you will make it up in savings even if you just make an order every couple months. I order housewares, baking supplies, snacks, pantry staples, and sometimes even OTC medicines from Thrive Market and I've always been pleased. They have excellent customer service and I've never been disappointed by them.

Tip for consumers:
There is an annual membership fee, but much like Costco it just lets you purchase these items at a cheaper price. With EVERY order over $50, you get a free sample. They have their own "store brand" of less expensive items and they are expanding that selection every day!
