Really helpful service in these difficult times... carefully packed and shipped.
And the food is fresh and not expired packaging as is sometimes experienced through amazon!

Appreciate this source for interesting and convenient shopping, and appreciate the free item offers... I do think the annual member fee is a bit high though.

Thank you for joining us!
What I like the most about Thrive Market is that I'm able to buy paleo products per diet without needing to check all the ingredients product by product. I don't give full five stars because I cannot find all the paleo brands I buy, like Caveman Foods products that I love or more variety of Siete Foods products or even the Julian's Bakery paleo protein shake. If there were more brands available, it would be absolutely perfect!

Thanks for your suggestions, Maria! We've passed these brands along to our merchandising team, feel free to reach out if you have any specific product recommendations!
I love the ease of ordering and selections. Being able to shop by diet is genius especially for keto or paleo beginners. Very upfront membership and shipping guidelines.

1) They lie about the discount. I have registered an FTC complaint. $20 off is not "25% off"
2) They use OnTrac, otherwise known as OnCrack as a delivery service. No doorbell, no knock, boxes smell like they were shipped in a trash truck.
3) Potato chips are NOT packing material. Hey, dumbasses, you DO realize I can hit safeway of all places and get those chips for exactly the same price AND THEY ARE NOT CRUSHED?
3) You tell them to cancel and they treat it as a negotiation. Gonna be fun to tell my ba4k to reverse the charges.
Just another lesson in scammers selling feelgood bull$#*! and lying the whole time I guess.
Stay FAR FAR AWAY

Dont do it.

Hi there- Thank you for providing your feedback. I'll be sending you a private message to discuss any issues regarding our promotions, our couriers, our packaging and address any questions regarding your membership. We do want to give every member the opportunity to see the value of the membership including the money they've saved and any coupons we see on the account. Our mission is to make healthy living accessible and affordable for everyone.
I had no idea there was an automatic annual membership fee after 30 days. I thought the trial was a trial with free shipping on your first 3 orders. I didn't realize I had been billed until after 6 months so there was no refund option. I'm angry and embarrassed that this happened. Now I have to set a reminder so I remember to try to cancel this "membership" I never wanted before it randomly renews me without my permission for another year. I think I'm done with most online shopping anymore. I'd rather waste the gas and drive to a physical store that might not even stock what I'm looking for than deal with online stores for fear of this happening again. At least a membership fee for Sams Club, Costco, and BJs is something Inwouldnuse more often and it's totally upfront about the cost. Thrive Market has good deals but I literally could have bought what I bought there in a store or for a few dollars more at another online health store I have used in the past that doesn't sign me up for a paid membership with no notification. Maybe I should check my statements more carefully but I'm usually in a rush and I never even saw they billed me. It seems wrong to penalize someone for something like this. They're a good company if you know what you're getting into but if you didn't realize there was a membership then you'll probably be shocked to find out you have been billed. I think more than the money I just feel humiliated, like a moron for allowing myself to be tricked.

This isn't my go-to for shopping, because I'm not yet convinced organic products are worth the extra money. However, for those who don't live 5 minutes away from a grocery store or have particular dietary restrictions (necessary or assumed), Thrive could be a great option. You can filter by restrictions or values, and they have quite a few options for quite a few of those categories. I shop for someone who can't eat dairy, and there have been life-changing solutions discovered here. (Okay, maybe that's a little over-dramatic, but it's been huge.)
Thrive has a lot more than just packaged food, too. They have household supplies of all sort in addition to clean wines and even frozen (presumably--I've not ordered it before) meat. This could, conceivably, replace grocery store trips if enough planning is done.
However, I do buy a lot of superfluous, snacky things that I wouldn't buy otherwise. I'm not diligent enough to know if the annual fee is worth the savings. A plus, though, is that every membership purchased results in one being donated to someone in need. You can also donate your savings, or a portion thereof, from every order to help those in need.
Tip for consumers:
At the time of my writing this, Thrive is just pulling their heads above the flood of orders due to the pandemic. Some products are not available or are snapped up quick. Free incentives and savings are on hold. If you need those things, maybe hold off a bit longer on signing up.
Products used:
Snacks, dish soap, sauces, essential oils, feminine hygiene

Thank you for your review and feedback! We're happy you've found the Shop by Diet option helpful and if you ever would like to know about your savings or membership benefits, like our Savings Guarantee and Price Matching, please let us know!
Like many other have said, this company is very misleading. Canceling a membership is almost IMPOSSIBLE; the website doesn't allow you to cancel the auto-renewal, and it takes several calls to cancel it.
- The products are NOT any cheaper than in my regular Krogers or HEB. Actually, i found many products are much more expensive.
- The shipping process is another bad thing; the items arrive at different times, which higher your chances of just going to the grocery store and buying that ingredient that Thrive hasn't shipped.
JUST DONT SIGN UP!

Initially, I signed up because having organic goods shipped to your house at a lower price seemed like a good idea. After being a member for 2 years, Ive come to realize, Im not saving all that much.
Thrive claims my savings is huge, upwards of $600 a year. I dont know where they get that info from but I did some investigating and record keeping on my own and found their claims to be false in my case.
Aside from a few things that are sold at a discount on Thrive market, majority of the goods are basically priced competitively with my neighborhood Whole Foods, Trader Joes, or Ralphs/Kroger market. Sometimes things I purchase are the same price, sometimes its a savings of a few cents which isnt worth it for me. The one thing I purchase on a regular basis is pasta sauce and thats been 2-3 dollars less a jar than at the local stores. Otherwise, the savings simply arent there to justify the annual fee for me. It may be wonderful for other people who happen to buy items that have discounts greater than a few pennies, and Im happy for them, sadly, I dont fall into that category. For that reason, I wont be using them anymore. I highly suggest you do some homework before signing up to make sure you are, indeed, saving enough to make the hefty annual fee worth it. Dont take their word for it because it wasnt true in my case.

Lemon eucalyptus oil-based options like this one are easier on the skin and just as effective as DEET at keeping mosquitoes at bay, says Immo Hansen, principal investigator of New Mexico State University's The Hansen Lab.
Regardless of the variety you use, always apply bug spray after sunscreen to make sure it sticks.

Glad you're loving our natural bug repellants, thanks for sharing!
Have been using Thrive for just over a year and have loved absolutely everything I have tried. My "over and over again" orders include Thrive Dry Roasted and Salted Cashews, The Ginger People Pickled Ginger, Divina Dolmas Stuffed Grape Leaves, Epic Smoked Salmon Bites, Thrive Organic Ginger Cubes, Pacific Foods Organic Broths, Thrive Organic Bread and Butter Pickles and Thrive Baby Kosher Dills. I have had a blast trying so many sauces by a variety of excellent companies and endless chocolate bars, chocolate covered nuts, rice and rice blends, oils and dressings. Can't say enough good things about the bounty and quality they offer. And the prices are fantastic, as is their giving back.

Thank you so much for your review! Thrive On!
This company tries to force you into an annual membership without making it clear what they are doing or what they are charging on your items purchase page. The site does not advertise its membership basis properly at all. I ordered something from them a few months ago and they were about to charge the membership until I stopped them doing so. A few weeks ago I ordered again on the site totally forgetting this was the scumbag company that had tried to sneak in a membership charge before without letting you know. This time they charged the membership at the same time as the the charge for the products but there was absolutely no indication of this charge on the purchase bill total. When I rang them to cancel they refused to give me a full refund for the membership, forcing me instead to accept 6 months membership. I never received a receipt for the membership charge. I got the information from PayPal a day later.
If this company is thriving - it is doing so dishonestly.
Beware!
UPDATE:
After, writing this review - another on Trustpilot - raising a resolution with PayPal - they have agreed to give me a full refund and cancel the membership. The above review remains for the hassle it took to get it back and for their thinking that it was OK to conduct business in this way in the first place.

Hi Sam- I apologize that this came as a surprise. As a membership-based company, we offer a 30-day free trial that begins with the first Thrive Market purchase. After the trial, we charge the annual fee for our services, as clearly noted just under the checkout amount on the checkout page. We also send trial members an email reminder a few days before the membership is activated. It is not uncommon for customer's to find our emails in their spam. We try to be as transparent as possible regarding our membership model. Also, after the first cancellation of membership, any future orders will result in a next day membership fee, again noted on the checkout page. We'd be happy to send you a private message with a receipt of the membership fee that was charged. Have a great day.
I purchased one item on site for less than ten dollars in 2016, I didn't know anything about the annual scam membership fee, they've been billing me every year for over fifty dollars, now I'm going to report these scammers to the Feds, local authorities, state attorny and BBB in Culver City.

To make cancelling a membership in this type of flow is illegal - hence Comcast being sued in the past over hiding their cancellation options deep within their accounts section. I screenshotted this process to share with my coworkers (we're UX/UI designers). First of all, requiring people to Call or Email you to cancel a digital membership is absurd and done as a lame way to force people into an uncomfortable circumstance where some people will just give in and keep their account open (speaks for the lack of respect Thrive Market has for their customers). I finally found within their FAQs section a single link at the end of an article to cancel without having to contact them directly. That process (once I selected to cancel), took 7 additional confirmation steps to actually cancel the membership. This is beyond the line of being desperate. Thrive Market should consider being more transparent and less pathetic with how you treat your customers. To even require a "membership" in order to buy from your online grocery store is ridiculous in itself - you're prices are no different than local stores... there is nothing special about Thrive Market other than you have won the cake for the amount of steps to confirm cancellation of a digital membership.

It's nice to be able to do very little research for clean food. We really love there selection of organic meats and clean keto foods. Great snack selection too.
