Unfortunately, THRIVE has alienated me on several occasions, so I cancelled my membership. When their software does not work and one misses the special, they will not make it right. The company is hostile and unfriendly.
(BEWARE OF THEIR THRIVE PASTA SAUCES... THEY ARE TERRIBLE!)
If you search for comments, there are dozens upon dozens of former Thrive Market customers who have written unfavorable replies.
I will continue to support my local businesses by buying healthily at Roots Market, Yes Natural Foods and My Organic Market in the Washington DC area.

1. Order arrived with box stained with oil all around box. Oily box was sat on my front door mat and left oil marks. I have photos of the box, unopened that show the stains. I did not order anything with oil. Only 3 bars of soap so the stains must be leak from another package next to mine? Not sure if this happened during delivery or packaging from origin.
2. Order was missing. When it didnt arrive after order was sent, i forgot about it as i kept thinking it is postal delay. After 3 weeks, i inquired and they had already marked "delivered". Where is my order?! It finally arrive almost a month later after several calls for them to reship.
3. It is also on the site you will receive $25 for referring a friend or family member. I referred someone, that person made a purchase and nowhere is the credit. I called they say it will automatically show up in the account when you check out. Recheck - no credit. Called again they explained they are sorry was not clear on their website your friend has to become a full fletch member ie become a member of the club and pay the membership fee, not just a paid customer, for you to enjoy the $25 credit. So it sounded their promotion is very misleading and intentionally led customers to think they will get a referral fee. Now your friend gave them all the email credit card info and MADE a purchase and become their customer, they then made it BLATANT "oh sorry the website is not clear". Most internet companies including groupon etc would give you a referral fee if your friend made purchase. This is unusual and taking advantage of what is the market practice by manipulating the marketing language.

I ordered a $2.00 jar of almond butter from Thrive on 10/1. It came in about 2 days, I thought it was a great deal. I checked my credit card statement the next month and I see that I apparently made a $59.95 payment to Thrive on 11/1.
I had no inkling of what this could be for so I go to their website. I see that they've deducted $59.95 as part of an annual membership fee they automatically sign people up for once they have your credit card info. Apparently they tell you that you're agreeing to the membership fee on the last page of the transaction, but it must be hidden in VERY FINE PRINT because I was totally unaware of this (I read these things carefully. I also have a Master's degree- I'm no dummy. If they slipped it past me, they've done it to other people).
So now I've paid $59.95 for a membership fee I wasn't aware I was signing up for and didn't want. I'm concerned at this point that this deceptive company will try to charge me more hidden fees in the future. I try to remove my address & credit card info from the site. It allows me to remove my address but not my credit card info.
So I call in and explain that I'm not interested in their annual membership. To their credit, the woman I talked to was polite and said she would reimburse me the money (only after she tried to convince me to stay with the company).
I went back to the website, and it was only AFTER I made the phone call that I was able to remove my credit card info from their site. Shady as hell!
I don't know if I'll ever actually get my money back, but I'm just happy I was able to remove my info from their site so they can't ever automatically deduct payments from me in the future.
Don't give them your credit card info! Thrive will connive you out of your money!
