I have been a Thrive member for over 2 years and right now am regretting renewing. Most of their products are out of stock and for days the website has not accepted online orders due to volume. (I do understand that our world is in crisis) I contacted customer service asking for my membership dues be refunded as online ordering was suspended and when open little or no product is in stock, and was told the membership that renewed in March was non refundable. Terrible customer care.

With a houseful of kids with different eating needs/preferences, Thrive helps me keep the pantry stocked with gluten free, dairy free, all kinds of staples from pasta to snacks. It has saved me trips and $ at the store, and their service is excellent. I wish they could re-stock faster after they run out of key items, but other than that - a real time and money-saver!

I'm so glad Thrive Market exists. They are the perfect alternative to running around to various different stores for this, that, and the other thing, sometimes in different states. I can get it all in one online shopping site, save loads of $ in the process, and it's always delivered in good time and packed with care, very conscientiously. My first order came fast and exactly when they said it would. It was well packed and I was very happy with everything in it. The drain cleaner worked really well! Just needed serum and this saves me the trip. Threw in a couple of other things to try. Quality of everything has been excellent and some products I was already buying. Highly recommend, especially if you're a teacher because they'll waive the membership fee. I really appreciate that because virtual teaching is harder and more time consuming that teaching in real life.

Thrive Market is awesome. Everyone who is complaining about being charged $59 for their annual membership fee should really learn to read. On the front page of their site and all across the site it clearly states that it's a membership. At any rate, the membership is totally worth it. Plus, they give you a thirty day free trial to see if you like it. Great! Sign me up! The only problem I have with them is that they should be able to process and ship orders quicker to compete with Amazon. Amazon has every single product Thrive does and I can get it the next day or in two days. With Thrive, it takes a week. That's just too long for me.

Sometimes, however, we fail to do so due to factors such as courier delays which are out of our control. Orders can take between 24-72 hours to process, and we are working to improve our ship times.
I started buying from Thrive Market before the latest national problems. I live in a small town in East Texas and we are many miles from a good store that provides organic and other foods we like. Every time I place an order I save myself from having to drive over 100 miles round trip, plus the pricing is excellent and I get the opportunity to give a little to a family in need. Thank you for being here for us. And your orders are always packed so well. Have never had a damaged item.

The reason I decided not to continue with Thrive is b/c I was unaware that once you purchase something from them they automatically sign you up for a trail membership for 30 days. If you do not cancel they charge your credit card $60. They claim that this is expressed at checkout, which it may be but they put it in the small fine print at the very bottom of your transaction, 90% of all human beings do not read the "fine print" on a grocery website. That was my mistake. Thrive should make it visible on their web page where people can actually see it.
When I called the cancel it was actually very seamless. I just wish they were more up front with the membership details and made their new customers aware that they are being signed up for a trial, just not very trustworthy.

Hi Brittnee- I apologize that this came as a surprise. As a membership-based company, we offer a 30-day free trial that begins with the first Thrive Market purchase. After the trial, we charge the annual fee for our services, as noted just under the checkout amount on the checkout page. We also send trial members an email reminder a few days before the membership is activated. It is not uncommon for customer's to find our emails in their spam. We try to be as transparent as possible regarding our membership model.
The $60 annual membership is worth the price. I was able to save that and more on my first purchase. If you are on a special diet, looking for clean, eco-friendly beauty and cleaning brands, or simply love high quality food, beverages and snacks, this is the place for you. The customer service is amazing, I received my order very quickly and a day before its stated arrival, and my cold items were placed in special packaging. My glass bottled were also insulated in bubble wrap. The box itself is also marked with a note to please recycle it. It's been a fantastic experience thus far, and I recommend Thrive Market to any and everyone for both its value and quality products that you may not find anywhere else.

This is only my second order with Thrive, however I love that I can find hard to locate GF items. (But don't expect to find everything.
My one major issue is with their website's algorithm. I am highly allergic to nuts, which I put in my preferences, yet their recommended items keep suggesting 2 nut items for me. I have notified their customer service unit, who has argued that this is not their doing. I have notified them again. Also, each time you search for an item you need to put in the information again (ie. No nuts), which should be automatic if you requested any limitations in your preferences.
My advice, is know before you shop, or you'll spend a lot of time modifying the searches and reading the labels.

You can combine this with any other filters you're interested in, and use the in-value search bar to search within the filter, without having to reset your preferences each time, hope this helps!
I am pleased with the selection and variety of products offered. Delivery is prompt. I would prefer the products to all be on one page instead of 5-8 different ones. That makes it more difficult to find what you're looking for in your favorites.

I initially came across Thrive Market a few years ago when I was in search of allergy friendly products. I took on a severe corn allergy at the age of 30 (epi pen severe) and became terrified to eat. Corn isn't a recognized allergen by the FDA, there is little to no medical research on it's effects... and it is hidden in countless sub ingredients. As you can imagine it took me a couple of years to learn what I can and cannot have (this makes eating out near impossible btw). The transparency that Thrive Market provides with ingredients and quality of brands makes me feel deeply safe when eating, when actually being able to eat things that will nourish my body. It also makes it even better when I know I'm shopping at a place that gives back, reduces its carbon foot print, and cares so much about sustainably sourced products. I'm truly grateful for Thrive Market and the food freedom it has provided me with in my life of a Severe Corn allergy and recent Onset Celiac diagnosis.

Customer service is horrible.
No phone line service, only online chat seriously messed up!
They refused to refund membership fee.

I've been a Thrive member for 3 years now. We love that they carry our favorite brands and lower prices on most over retail shopping. I love how they are always introducing new products and include samples or free items with most orders. When we get our orders, most of the time everything is packed and protected really well. My only real complaint is at least %50 of the time the estimated delivery date is off, sometimes way off. Even before the virus most estimated delivery dates are off by 2-5 days.

Thrive is a very well run business that puts customer service 1st. The product offerings are really excellent. The dry goods are great, lots of organic choices in groceries, pet food, personal care products. The wine selections are fantastic, and free of a lot of the additives that can cause headaches and digestion issues. The frozen meat and seafood options are really quite good as well. Thrive also contributes a lot towards low income, and other people in need during natural disasters, etc. I feel good about supporting this company.

This Company has been horrible to deal with. They signed me up for automatic orders, charged my credit card an never even shipped anything to me. It has taken three weeks to get a refund through their terrible customer service. One of their agents even said that I was lucky the were even talking to me about it. Highly DO NOT Recommend!

My wife & I have really enjoyed a lot of the Thrive products, which can be hard to find elsewhere, especially for discounted prices. The membership idea and applying that $$ for families in need is also something I am happy to support. I am not at all bothered by the out of stock notices that occur on occasion - some people here are griping about that, but the products usually show up before long and I can appreciate how challenging it is to coordinate and source all of these goods. The annual cost of access is quite a bit more than the "savings" I'm supposedly getting. Definitely not worth it for me. Now just trying to figure out how to cancel... they've made it hard to find.

My sister referred me to Thrive Market and I'm so glad she did. Just in purchasing vitamins/supplements alone, the amount of money I save buying from Thrive instead of the grocery store or vitamin stores more than pays for the Thrive membership. I discovered Thrive this year, and I just keep coming back. They offer a reasonable variety of non-perishable goods with an emphasis on organic, sustainable products. They have a limited assortment of perishables - so you still have to buy produce somewhere else. To me, that is not a problem. I am the type of consumer who cares about to whom I am giving my money. So I searched about their corporate practices and was impressed by what I found. I am very proud of their philosophy of supporting small businesses and drive a positive change in the world.
