I have never seen published rating statistics for online "organically"
Oriented companies, but if there is a sleaziest category, my money
(based on my unspeakable experience with Thrive Market) would be on this California company. (If only I had read the Sitejabber reviews...)

Now that shipping times have improved greatly and packing has improved, I'm very happy with Thrive Market. Today I had a discussion with a nice lady about the fact my latest email didn't include an expiration date for refilling my pantry. She agreed to honor the price on the email and to talk to the techs about always including expiration dates for specials.

I have come to rely on Thrive for many gluten free and healthy items that my family loves. I usually order 1-2 times a month and the delivery is so fast. I go to Thrive first for any gf/specialty item I need and they almost always have it! Thrive is a great resource for anyone who follows a special diet or who just likes to eat healthy and the prices are almost always less than at the grocery store.

I eat Paleo and have found many food items and supplies that are not in the "health food" isle of my favorite stores. Thrive Market does not allow GMO foods. When an item runs out I can tap a button to get a reminder for when it's available and if it will be available again. Low stress, great food and wonderful packing. Their boxes are so sturdy I'm saving them for shipping packages to my friends. They use paper for the interior packing and plastic zip bags when something has a possibility of leaking. The one time a jar of olives broke they replaced it for free with my next order and gave me a credit too. I'm delighted they support teacher, Vets and those in need both from their funds and the funds of members. You can easily donate your savings if you choose.

Searches have improved. They still offer far too many options that do not meet the search criteria but I have noticed that they are much improved in that regard.

I have a shipping problem but it is one that Thrive Market can't do much about. I am in a rural area and UPS, often drops the package off with the postal service around 60 miles away. It then takes at least one extra day to arrive at the local post office, where I have a P. O. Box and no local delivery.
Some product can be purchased cheaper through other sources but frankly not many and there are a lot of REALLY great products that are ONLY available on Thrive Market.

I disagree with other reviews, had a completely different experience. Nia was amazingly nice in the confusion caused by my own mistake. I hadn't realized it had been so long since I last ordered, that I needed to update my phone number. She saw it through and I am very grateful for her cheerful support. Kudos!

Thrive Market offers some of the best quality organic products on the market. Very good prices and excellent delivery service. You can open a free account for 30 days, after that you have to pay an annual membership, like Costco, but the prices are worth it! Also they often send emails with FREE FULL SIZE products when ordering over $49. I get all my cans, flours, sugar, teas, coffee, and cleaning products thru Thrive Market. Plenty of vegan and not animal tested products. The website is very organized and you can search by kind of diet, like vegan, gluten-free, keto, etc. Also beauty and home products.

We are thankful to have found Thrive. We recently changed the way we eat and wanted cleaner options. Thrive offers us the best options, even better than our local grocery stores. Plus, for the most part, the items are less expensive than at the local store as well. Now we can just get everything shipped directly to our door and only have to hit up the local stores for fresh produce, meat, and dairy products. Save us a ton of time and we are eating better.

I took a "trial" membership so I could order and try out their food offerings and service. Then I found other websites that offered cheaper and better selections, so I immediately went on chat and canceled 3 weeks before the end of my trial. They sent an email confirming the cancellation. Then 2 months later, out of the blue, I see a charge for $60 for a "one year membership" on my credit card. The customer service guy on chat says it's all my fault for not "understanding how Thrive membership works." --- I told him I understand all too well. It's called a bait and switch sucker scheme. Don't give them your information or you could be at risk for the same shenanigans.

I've used Thrive Market for several years and I LOVE it. I like that my inner crunchy hippy can get organic & natural products. I also keep my pantry stocked with healthy and not-so-healthy snacks. The annual membership pays for itself if you shop a few times a year. Do not judge their service or stock during COVID-19 pandemic. I've been more than satisfied with their selection for 2-3 years.

This is my favorite place to shop online. Thrive has been very helpful during the pandemic. The healthy food and household items have great prices. The monthly fee is affordable and when I couldn't afford to pay it they helped me out for a month. Their fees help pay for veterans and families in need. Good values & business

I like the concept and the products for the most part. It's fairly well organized to search for products you need, which is very important when you just know what you need. Mostly they deliver very quickly, however one time I needed it really quick it took about a week - can't rush it. The prices are OK, considering the convenience of ordering to the door and a wide selection of organic and environment friendly products.
The biggest downside of it from my perspective is the packaging - I get that they want it to be safely delivered, but it hurts to see one bottle of sauce packed and wrapped in a plastic bag and rolls& rolls of paper wrap- it makes me want to stop using them every time.

DO NOT purchase anything from this company. I am very thorough in any annual membership fees I sign up for. I purchased a $4 tea from Thrive and it was not stated a $60 membership fee would be charged to my card each year. You will not receive an email notification each year for this charge as it hits spam. Two years later, I realized the company has charged me $120 without any notice. You cannot cancel on the website - you must go through the company's 24/7 chat and consistently ask for cancellation. Please avoid this company at all costs. I spent my morning trying to cancel and screenshotted the conversation for evidence in case my membership was not cancelled in their system.

We have been ordering from Thrive Market for several (3?) years. Now... 99.9% positive experience: great, growing inventory; great service well beyond-the-call-of-duty! So generous with sample products I sometimes wonder how they make a profit! Through no fault of Thrive we have received two damaged boxes---one with one broken item and one that looked like the delivery company ran over the box with a delivery truck. Both times Thrive Market replaced the items immediately with no questions asked... The negative 00.1% of our experience with Thrive Market? Their product search engine is a real crapshoot! One never knows what items it will come up with or how that/those products relate to what one is searching for! But one quickly learns how to get around that by clicking "Buy it again" or spending the time to search over and over again. This slight annoyance completely dissolves in our love for Thrive Market!...{No; they didn't pay me to write that! Check it out for yourself!}... :o) BLM

I Googled vitamins and came up with a whole page. They happened to be one of them. All I did was purchase a 20 dollar bottle of vitamins from them. Three weeks later I got a charge for $59.95. I did not see anywhere saying this was a membership. I can pay 20 dollars at the vitamin store down the street. Which I will be doing here on out. THIS IS A BIG SCAM! STAY AWAY.

I've never heard of a membership company that refuses to remove your credit card from your own account. Amazon allows it. Groupon does it, too. Except for them. Yeah, so they get to charge you fees when you forget to cancel. And when you ask them to remove your card number they give you the runaround!

I had to call my card issuer to permanently BAN this company from ever charging me again. I suggest you do the same.

Thrive market seems like a great site with many options... not available. I have found several wonderful products yet cannot purchase them due to their being out of stock which I would normally consider being part of the Covid-19 mess however, adzuki beans? Seriously?

As well, I'm sadly disappointed at the fact that you absolutely must purchase a membership in order to receive a shipping discount. Guys, I use Sendle and am able to offer my customers cheap shipping due to this. I'm not here to make money on silly things like this. I prefer to make it on my products and happy customers.

Other than those two things this looks like an awesome site! Great photos of happy employees too! I'm loving that.

I love how you can shop per diet or allergy needs. I also appreciate the communication during the Covid-19 time as well as their commitment not to increase prices based on demand. I'm very thankful Thrive is staying true to helping people. They have a great variety of things we've never tried as well as their own brand which I highly recommend trying. Not only is it another money saver but some of the Thrive brands of food, we actually prefer.

I haven't used Thrive Market too long, but have not had any problems. They have what I want and when out, I request a notice To let me know when they have restocked, which they did. I like the products and prices as well as the convenience of delivery. I have no complaints whatsoever. I'm very happy with them. I don't have a picture as I unpacked and ate my last order. The review popped up as I was ordering more things outside of my monthly box.

I never ordered any type of membership from Thrive Market. There was a charge to my paypal account for 64.00? Now I have to go through the hassle of trying to get it reversed. I tried Thrive Market they make it extremely difficult to get in touch with them. Im not even a customer and Im very unhappy with them. Dont order from this company.

Do not do the free 30 day trial. I tried cancelling well before my 30 days were up and it wasn't canceled. They then hit my credit card with the annual payment and all customer service could say was "I'm sorry it's past 30 days". Well news flash, it wasn't. I tried cancelling 12/22 and my card was billed 1/11…so I'd say I gave them more than enough notice. I even received and email stating they were"actively working on my request" on 12/22 which shows that I did actually request cancellation! Only offered to refund me $20! Our bank and lawyer are being contacted. This company is nothing but a bunch of thief's! Buyers beware!

I live in a small town where finding a wide assortment of organic and certified non GMO products are scarce. Not only does Thrive Market offer an abundance of choices but the prices are a good value. They arrive in a timely manner as well. When one of the organic and health food stores are over an hour away, Thrive Market offers a great alternative.

I absolutely love Thrive Market and have recommended it to my community. It's so valuable especially during covid that I avoid going into stores as much as possible. I recently change my diet due to medical needs and being able to get lots of compatible and good quality stuff here makes it so much easier. Most of the things I get here are cheaper than in whole foods, and $5 per month equals to one-time wholefood delivery tip. The shipping is fast and reliable. Every time I speak with the customer service they go above and beyond.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, I would have given six stars to Thrive! I received my orders within 3 or 4 days! Of course, since Corona, delivery has slowed down... many products are out of stock... but which local store is not experiencing the same? I will continue to use Thrive Market and appreciate their efforts to keep people safe and healthy.
