We've bought from Thrift Market for a few years now, but have grown to especially depend on them since COVID-19 and quarantine started. We have our favorites that we always only buy from them and also love trying new products they offer. Their own Thrift Market product line always blows us away and everything is always much cheaper than buying in the grocery store. The membership is definitely worth it and I would 100% recommend buying from Thrift Market.

They have AWFUL customer service.
It took me three calls and over a week to get a call back from a supervisor about a dispute I had regarding their membership fee. They were very sneaky about this fee. It was not made clear to me when I placed my original order that I was signed up for a free 1 month membership and would be charged the annual fee after that month. When I realized this, a few days after the trial ended, I called to cancel but they would not refund, or even prorate, the fee. They said that since I still had the membership I could "save hundreds" by purchasing products through them. Why would I give them any more money? Why would I continue to support this awful business?
Ultimately I ended up going to my credit card company to dispute the fee and was ultimately able to get a full refund. At that point it wasn't about the money but it was about the principle of it. I'm glad they didn't win. It's not okay to treat customers like that.

I've tried canceling my membership about two years ago, yet I still am repeatedly being charged for a membership. It's absolutely ridiculous at this point. I've called in to cancel about this at least two times already.

I signed up for thrive thinking I would try it out for a Keto Challenge I was doing at work. Welp, I spent a bunch of money on Keto food, its been a month and the challenge has since ended. Guess what? Still no food from Thrive. Not sure if it's just a scam to get memberships or something, but if you want to eat something within a month of purchasing it, buy elsewhere.

Before I had even gotten my order completed I was disappointed by a misleading statement that claimed "free shipping on first orders over $25 dollars." I have actually bought more to get the "free shipping over $49 " that was also boasted on the site. While shopping I was queued that free shopping had been unlocked when I had spent over 25 dollars. This was only to find out I had to sign up for some club to actually get free shipping, so I ended up paying 10 bucks for shipping. I dont mind paying. I do have a problem with being lied to, not a great way to atract new customers.

Hi Rick, thanks for your feedback! We're so sorry for any confusion we do have promotional offers for free shipping on orders over $25 while our typical policy is for orders over $49. Both of these are offered to members only. We do allow non-members to place orders but these do not include any of our membership benefits such as free shipping, so sorry if any of this was unclear.
I got introduced to Thrive Market through a Youtuber. Easy website and healthy product options. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, some of the products are on backorder (like everywhere else). Customer service is great at providing solutions with the information they have in hand.

I've been a Thrive member for almost 2 years now and can't recommend it enough! When I first joined, I loved that I could get a lot of the healthy/specialty brands carried at Whole Foods. Since joining, Thrive has launched countless Thrive-Brand products that I find myself buying again and again. Thrive-brand products often come in Green-Forward thinking packages, taste great, and have trustworthy ingredients. This is true for their edible and beauty/hygeine products as well. In addition to all of these packaged value-addss, I am a huge fan of Thrive's clean wine selection (Toscano is my favorite!) and find myself ordering a case every 1-2 months. Wine ships to my MA home in 1-3 days and other packages usually take a week or so, which is really the only drawback. Thrive has been a good fit for my single and now two-person household but I'm sure larger families would get even more value!

I have been having trouble finding the specialty flour items in the grocery store, likely to this current health crisis. Thrive Market has what I was looking for. I am wondering why I even THOUGHT about searching all the local grocery stores and even if the customer doesn't buy enough to qualify for free shipping, it is worth it to pay the small shipping fee.

Pros:
1. The website is very easy to navigate. I can find gluten and dairy-free ingredients in no time.
2. packaging is excellent! 12 out of 10 I feel comfortable ordering honey, oil bottles etc
3. Most of them are organic.
4. I usually go to multiple stores to find everything I want so Thrive helps.
Cons:
1. I can find all the ingredients at Giant, Martin's, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, and Wholefoods. You may have to look for it first couple of times till you know the store aisles very well.
2. Variety is another issue, let's say if you are looking for blue corn chips or food without Sugar, Stevia or any other sweeteners, (just random examples) you would not find much
3. Not a big price difference! Plus you are paying $56 for the subscription. If Thrive starts the lowest price match system like Wallmart, I would participate.

I am a long time user of Thrive and love almost everything I have ever ordered from them. Because I need to watch my blood sugar levels having access to low carb options is important to me. Because I have a sweet tooth, being able to find delicious stevia sweetened chocolate, low carb flours and baking mixes, natural low glycemic sweeteners and recipies is a real blessing. This order I'm stocking up on chocolate since it's much more difficult to ship during our hot Florida summers. The best thing is that I can get all these wonderful benefits and share the joy by donating a portion of my savings to provide healthy options for a family in need.

I couldn't be happier with this market. I've saved a lot of money on brands that really help me on a daily basis like four sigmatic and I always receive great service if I have questions/concerns. I also recently got my dad some of their microwavable meals since he is so used to eating convenient foods and so far he likes the taste and I'm less concerned for his health since its all organic and not cooked in plastic. Very grateful for that!

I can't believe the prices and quality. And under normal circumstances they always include a free sample of something I get to choose from several options. People who are having issues with website or availability of stock have to understand the incredible strain of the pandemic on their staff and inventory. Normally these are NOT an issue. I am a huge fan of their house brand of collagen powder. I add to my coffee daily for my version of "Bulletproof" coffee. Also love their lentils, Smarty Pants gummies for kids w/folate NOT folic acid (folic acid is synthetic and not helpful for people with MTHFR gene issue). Totally appreciate this compay's standards as an alternative to Amazon which doesn't vouch for the quality of anything it sells.

I have heard of Thrive before but never really investigated it. Due to recent Covid precautions, I decided to try it out and was sooo happy that I did. I love the vegan options they offer and the price is cheaper than most local stores. In addition, the free gifts they send out make getting the package that more exciting. I have placed an order weekly and have had the opportunity to try new items that I have never seen before in my local stores. Grateful that I finally gave it a try!

I find the benefit is mostly limited to processed food and dry goods including oils and some grains. We try to eat food that is highly perishable because we believe that that best food to put in our bodies. Thrive is not well suited for that kind of food. So, we find ourselves buying more snack type food and some pantry stuff. I also find their cancelation information and policy lacking integrity. It's difficult to find information on how to cancel (I found it in the FAQ section, but should be clearly stated in the "membership" section) and even the language was a page of self-praise with information on canceling in the last line. To cancel, a member is placed in a queue to talk with an associate, which can be a process of waiting for someone to join the chat. Hey Thrive - you should make canceling as easy as joining. That's how you make members feel respected and supported. Leave us feeling good about the cancelation experience. We may be back very soon.

It seems like a lot of people have had the same issue I had. A year ago I got a free-trial, made a couple big purchases, and then when the free trial was over I got charged. So I emailed the company and within 2 emails he said it'd be taken care of and refunded.
Fast-forward 1 year, I went back to look on Thrive and found that I was still a member. I searched bank statements and emails and found that I was never refunded or canceled. I called customer service and they did offer more and try to get me to stay, but he was very reasonable and was kind enough to refund all my money from a year ago and cancel my membership. They do push their membership some, but overall the customer service was friendly and helped me out a lot!

Thrive market is a scam. I attempted to see what they had. Opted for the monthy membership because you cannot see their products prior to having a membership.
The website stated you will not be charged until placing an order. I was charged immediately. I searched the products and a membership was not worth it for me. I contacted support to cancel and they are refusing to refund the twelve dollars. It's only twelve dollars. Just refund the money. Items are cheaper at Costco

I had to sign up (and thought I could get a free trial) to find out if Thrive shipped to me and if they had what I wanted. It was not transparent and the availability of products is terrible, but you can't know that until you sign up. Canceling.
