Never ever use Thrive Market, they will make you miserable and never let you out of your membership. Once they sink their talons in you will have to petition your credit card company for help dealing with their fraud to get them to stop charging you.
My misery all started when Thrive Market refused to reimburse me when my membership auto-renewed after I had tried to cancel it. Instead they said they could shorten my membership to 6 months. I said I would not use the membership but that it at least was not the full cost of 12 months so I accepted a partial refund. I figured I would just let the clock run out out on the membership.
The real kicker was 6 months later when I get an email announcing my renewal and see a charge for another 6 months on my credit card. The huckster I had spoken to had indeed shortened the membership... and then set it to autorenew!
There is no way they could have believed that when I contacted them to say I did not want a membership that I wanted the 6 months to autorenew!
I accepted the 6 months only because they informed me that it would be the only way to give me a partial refund and that I would be done with Thrive Market after that.
When I contacted them to ask about this they sent a reply saying its so great that I am a member and I should take advantage of their great offers and refusing a refund.
Never trust Thrive Market with your credit card information because they will keep charging you no matter what you do.

With COVID-19 and increased demand there are obviously delays, but that is to be expected. I can't possibly expect others to work around the clock while I work comfortably and safely at home.
Communication is clear, honest, transparent and I stand 100% behind the company in their decisions. Plus, try to get Wholefoods or other placed deliver at the moment - it just doesn't happen "the same day". Many people consider themselves lucky to have local deliveries within the week!
What I've always loved about the company is that you can donate a percentage of your savings to people in need or other causes. Makes much more sense than donating overpriced food through school to a food bank!
We live in the US only part time, but it doesn't bother me at all that I can't put my membership on hold for the months we're away. We still save tons, and again, the ethics are unbeatable. So I rather support the company than making sleezeball Jeff Bezos an even richer man (Wholefoods being the most obvious "local" substitute).
Last but not least: You often get free (regular and sample size) items to try. This way I have discovered various things that have become staples in our household.

I've found several Keto friendly items (they make easy search of numerous diet/lifestyles). Many organic and sugar-free items. I am on a budget, and I'm happy to try a product and then stock up on staples when they go on sale. Customer service is exemplary... in 1-1/2 years, not certain if I ever had a problem; however, our last order had a lid come loose on dressing and made a mess throughout the box... as I started explaining the situation, customer service offered to reship my entire order. I indicated that the contents inside the other jars and bottles were not damaged, just labels damaged and bottles needed to be cleaned up (I wasn't happy about the mess, but felt better that they were compensating me well for my time and effort)... BTW, it was Pepperoccini Italian Dressing that smells amazing! P.S. Do understand that they are out of more items during this time of Covid (many people were out of work, companies shut down, and safe procedures in place take some companies 1,000% longer to do what they were accustomed to doing.

Thrive Market tries to whitewash the negative reviews with some paid "editorial" placements (glorified advertisements) indicating that their membership-based business model is not unusual. That's true - the business model is not unusual, and is not the problem with Thrive Market.
The problem is that they conduct themselves in a fundamentally misleading and dishonest way. The way the trial period and any subsequent interactions/purchases occur are often unclear, and I ended up having to pay for a membership as the result of ONE CLICK on one page which was NOT followed by any sort of warning regarding what the result would be. Despite multiple interactions with Customer Service (including refusing to elevate the issue to a supervisor), followed by multiple interactions through the BBB, they were unwilling to refund the membership fee.
The one consolation is that any business that would rather claw onto a one-time membership fee over keeping a customer satisfied must be doomed - that's the sort of behavior that businesses starving for cash or in their death throes engage in.

Always packed well. Last time very poor packagings. Could have easily been broken in shipping. I purchased ketsup, and Mayo plus. The jars could have been broken.

And I fell for it. Easy to sign up, looked interesting so I decided to check it out. Limited choices and not for me so decided to cancel... only it's FRIGGIN IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. You can't find a cancel option, phone number, or anything telling you how to cancel. So I start a chat session. Guy eventually says he will cancel the account, but he was taking forever to respond. Felt like he was just trying to wait me out so I'd leave the session. He says it will be a few hours, then I'd get a cancellation confirmation via email. Email never came. Tried again later that night to cancel via chat. I was able to get my first message through saying I wanted to cancel, then the submit message button on the chat screen magically greyed out and I wasn't able to submit any more messages. I am beyond pissed. Any company that makes it this hard to cancel is clearly not getting by on the quality of their products and satisfied repeat business, but rather by scamming people out of their info and making it impossible to cancel.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Diaya mac and cheese for my son. It's expensive in stores, unless I go out of my way to Natural Grocers. So I was excited to order it, I tried ordering it (multiple flavors) and it wasn't available in my location. I also tried to order Gluten Free bread that wasn't available for my location. I'm not sure why this is, but it definetly made the experience annoying for me.

I signed up for Thrive because of the diet specific options and the supposed savings. I placed one order and wasn't happy with the products or the prices (found tons of the items I bought on Thrive at Grocery Outlet...). After my first order i reached out to customer service to cancel my subscription and was pressured into keeping my subscription but for a discount of $20. Still didn't use the membership so I reached out again to get the rest of my membership refunded and was told since I was past my 30 days I would not receive the rest of my refund. I only signed up because after reading the terms of service I was under the impression that if I didn't use the membership or save the amount of money that they guaranteed that I would get my membership refunded. Customer service was completely unhelpful and just stated that they were sorry that the terms of service weren't more clear... All in all i don't recommend this at all. You will not save money and you will not get your money back unless you can sift through the relentless salesmen that are your only option for canceling your membership.

Notice how the bad reviews are mainly from during the pandemic and of people unfairly complaining. I am guessing these are not experienced online shoppers that are frustrated and unjustly giving way too few stars. I have had my membership for nearly a year, and I regret nothing. The selection is amazing if you value clean, natural products, but yes stock is lower than normal during a PANDEMIC where they have received WAY MORE ORDERS THAN THEY NORMALLY DO. Just like anywhere else, online companies have been struggling to keep up with the extremely abrupt surge in demand. Let's have some common sense before we hurt a business that donates a membership for each one purchased, encourages donations to worthy causes at checkout, and is environmentally conscious of its shipping and packaging. Customer service has always taken care of any minor problem I have had, no matter what. Take away message, just like ANY OTHER ONLINE COMPANY, stock is limited and shipping times are delayed. You want convenience and to minimize your risk at the expense of others? DEAL WITH IT.
