SO, if you're reading this--BEWARE--once you decide you want to cancel membership it will NOT be quick. It will not be easy. This tactic is designed wear you out & dissuade you from your original realization that YOU ARE NOT SAVING MONEY with thrive... not really. Don't lose hope. Sit through the repetitive recorded sales pitch--that voice hammering away at your eardrums.
SO, you FINALLY get through to someone--a "specialist". OK.
They will try to rope you into a six month /$29.95 membership.
If you DO agree to it & DON'T use it more than a few times you're just wasting money. I agreed... I wasted money. That's why I am here--6 months later to cancel once and for all.
My point is this, with memberships in general--and this one specifically--1 of 4 things will happen:
1. You will magically remember to call back within the 6 months, wait 30 mins+ to speak with someone, cancel & be done with one unnecessary online membership.
2. You will notice a charge on a credit card that you believe you didn't authorize (which you did--but just forgot about). You will call to try to get it reversed (which will not work). You will tell them to cancel all future renewal charges to that credit card. You will be out $30.
3. You won't ever notice the charges to your credit card and continue to make yearly donations to the thrive corporation because you have so much money/so much to deal with that $60 goes unnoticed.
4. You actually use the membership, learn what really is less expensive through them & save money. This is probably the least likely scenario.
I waited 39 minutes today before a "specialist" answered my call & finally confirmed my cancellation.
The upside to that rather long wait is that I will not waste $60 tomorrow on membership renewal!
Lesson learned about memberships.

It costs less than $5 a month to join and most people find that the membership pays for itself in just 2-3 orders!
Love the choices of healthy items that they supply. And you don't even have to leave your home to shop.

I just realized while getting ready to write this review after submitting my order that there were no free gifts with minimum purchases this time. Well... that will change again- eventually. The last time I ordered was just after different parts of the country started putting out the shelter-in-place warnings. Thrive could not keep up with the free gifts because people were ordering like crazy from this company all at the same time- myself included. I still would not change a thing. I appreciate the 15% off deal today and glad I was able to take advantage of this to pick up a few things. Wish I could have ordered more, but it is what it is! I enjoy being able to reorder some items we now know we like and the chances to order something new each time. I already am looking forward to receiving my order. I am also looking forward to hopefully trying the fig orange spread on my next order. In this one, we'll will be trying new sweet potato chips and instant vanilla pudding mixes. The reviews for both products were great and also gave some great insight/ideas with the pudding. I so dislike trying pudding using non-milk products and it turns out runny. This one sounds like a winner.
When I had to contact the company one time in the past, the service was spectacular.
As always, some items run out quicker than others; however, there are usually other similar items. We all have the option to click the button to receive notification when the item(s) are back in stock. Wish we could do this as easily with some stores with our toilet paper, etc. Plus I have found that some of the items are more reasonable here than at the health food store or other on-line stores.
I can tell that Thrive is also trying to streamline and work on their website quietly to help us find items easier. Thank you for that! I was able to navigate much easier today from the sale link to each section I wanted to search. Really nice and smooth!

I saw the product I wanted, I put it in my cart, I read all the warnings etc. and my stomach clenched, as did my butthole. I really have amazing disdain for people who charge you and don't let you cancel. So I went and read the overwhelming amount of 1 star reviews and saw how many people got charge 80 bucks in order to save 3.00, becuase they weren't allowed to cancel or there was fine print, or something nebulous. WTF is wrong with society that when people work to earn their money there is always a shady assh*le ready to pull something to take money they in fact did NOT earn. I found the same product, 'trace minerals' at walmart, free shipping. Glad I trusted my gut and puckered anus and read the reviews before ordering. I dealt with a scumbag parking facility in Long Beach like this. (insert accent) 'No my friend, we do not take anything larger than a 20, and only tell you that as you leave. Please sign this notice to pay. ' I knew that if I did, and even when I paid these pieces of excrement would try to bill me... they did. I had it dismissed. So: buy walmart, forget these guys.

Since changing over to a vegan lifestyle, it has been difficult and quite expensive when I have found very little vegan options at our 3 stores in my small town. Also being more physically disabled due to my illnesses progressing rapidly in the past few years, I am finding it easier for me to do online shopping with home deliveries. It is also less demanding on my body which can be very painful and exhausting at times when I have to shop in person at stores.
I then heard about Thrive Market, I went to their website to check them out. I thought that I could not afford the membership cost to be able to use Thrive Market as an option, but to my surprise, they have a program that helps low income families like we are, to apply for a discount or waiver of the annual fee. This was such a blessing as we are wanting to be able to choose healthier options for our food choices. Being restricted on many levels, like my illnesses and less vegan options in our area, and also financially being a factor as well, I was happy they offer program to help. The program helped us have access to the price reduced products Thrive Market offers, and the large variety of vegan options, and the easy of ordering and convenience of home delivery which makes our shopping needs so much easier for us in so many ways and on so many levels. I highly recommend this company for your shopping needs, no matter the obsticals; Thrive Market has taken in consideration many factors in helping with obsticals families may face. We are proof of that with our situation and the help they provided to overcome our difficulties during our time of struggles.
