Basically, like an online Whole Foods. You can get some decent pantry staples for your special Whole30/Keto/Paleo diet but that's about it. In my opinion, not worth the membership cost and I'm not sure they really save you money. You'd have to order a LOT of food per month (at MIN over $100) to see a return on investment.
Of course, it's convenient and can help cut down on trips to the grocery store. But, fundamentally, you'd still need to go to the store to get fresh produce so.
Additionally, when you cancel you have to talk to customer service. They do offer you free two months to stay, which was nice. However, I explicity asked to be sure that I was notified BEFORE the paid renewal period to assess whether or not I would continue the service. Of course, they didn't notify me and I was charged a monthly membership without notice. I don't appreciate brands who try to sneak one by their customers like that, so I asked for a refund (twice) and cancellation.
Overall, not great. Wouldn't recommend unless you're just wanting a delivery service to deliver some pantry items.

Apparently this company trains its representatives to scam customers out of canceling their memberships with the promises of extending their free trial membership without charge. Please beware and do not fall for this. I contacted Thrive's customer service department a day before my 30 day free trial membership was set to expire. I spoke to a representative by the name of Tyrone and told him that I wanted to cancel my trial membership. There wasn't anything wrong with the service. The product was great, and the shipping experience was satisfactory; however, I didn't feel I needed the services enough to pay for an annual membership.
Tyrone advised me that Thrive was offering an extended 30 day trial membership to its customers. He told me I could continue utilizing the services free of charge for another 30 days. I decided to take advantage of this offer since he assured me that I wouldn't be charged, and I felt this would allow me further opportunity to try out the products and become accustomed to the company. About two days later, my checking account incurred a $59.95 charge from Thrive for a yearly membership. Of course I was livid since I was assured I wouldn't be assessed any charges to my account.
I contacted customer service, and spoke with a different representative. She apologized for the mistake and refunded my account. Three days later, I received the full refund for the amount that had been charged to my account. However, within the hour, another fee of $59.95 was charged to my account by Thrive. I contacted customer service a third time and had the entire membership canceled. I am now disputing the charges with my bank.
Any chances Thrive had of keeping me as a paid customer are destroyed.

Pardon my English- I have disability - I need to retain an attorney for $57.50 - customer fraud. Did not honor their agreement. Stealing, no cancel button, can not get a hold of them, basically sent package and force customer pay for it when customer want to cancel; or switch items that they didnt say they would give as sign up gift. I signed up because they said they would gift 1 lbs Raw Honey jar; instead they switched it to Ghee; that is not why I signed up with Thrive, so I attempted email them many times, try call them, they are hard to get a hold of to cancel my order - so I called my bank Discover they discover said the charges was valid?! What? NO I did not authorize to buy those stuff to receive GHEE, I did not agree to get GHEE - I agreed to sign up to get RAW HONEY; basically this whole situation is wrong with Thrive Market - need to hold them liable. I stressed out transfer what I owe to discover over to capital one and paid the charge I did not agree, I want to get $57.50 back plus the stress/ waste time that they had caused for me, fraud scammed me. Will need you to do investigating the customer fraud with that business I know I am not the only one had issues with them. I want sue them for what they did and made it difficult for anyone to contact them via email/ phone. It's unfair; and I had emailed them told them right away after review my receipt I was stunned said no that not what I agreed, and cancel that at that same minute; cancel everything and get me out of there - I do not like Thrive not honoring their agreement; and wait until it was "too late" to cancel, have no cancel buttons. I should not have to be paying for it as authorization.

I learned about THRIVE MARKET in 2016. I was searching for a great online website that wasn't AMAZON to buy the kinds of organic EVERDAY foods that I eat & like without being limited & BAM. I saw them looked over the website. While I read the raving reviews. I joined by THRIVE market by purchasing a 6 month membership at the time.
So proud that I wasn't disappointed at ALL! What was really impressive to me & touched my heart was. At the end of checkout when it's time to pay for your items you're given the opportunity to donate a percentage of funds to those less fortunate so they could get great healthy affordable organic foods for themselves or their families. Whenever I was able to I'd stretch my budget a bit EXTRA & donate because I was there before. & God alone knows what the future holds.
I also HIGHLY recommend their poultry, meats & seafood boxes if you're on a budget or have a large family. From organic free range chicken to grass fed beef, to wild caught seafood? You cannot beat it especially if you can't afford to join an online mandatory, monthly meat & seafood package like me. You can buy as needed without any strings attached. Everything is FRESH & the quality is TOP NOTCH!
I appreciate it ALL. From the spectacular customer service both thru the call center or online chat, the sustainable items used in packing it, to the SUPERB quality of the food.
