I recently was accepted in the the Thrive Gives program and am overwhelmed with gratitude. As a single mom in a small town trying to eat healthy and obtain health conscious foods is quite the task. This allows me to take my time shopping and review products thoroughly. I love that I am able to get house cleaning, bath, food, and beyond in one place. The emphasis on green packaging is incredibly refreshing and I appreciate those efforts immensely. I'm really happy about joining thrive and being gifted with the Thrive gives account. Thrive Market charges a membership fee of 59.95 automatically after first order and then annually. This is pretty steep for a one time use.
Customer service is horrible.
No phone line service, only online chat seriously messed up!
They refused to refund membership fee.

I discovered Thrive this year, and I just keep coming back. They offer a reasonable variety of non-perishable goods with an emphasis on organic, sustainable products. They have a limited assortment of perishables - so you still have to buy produce somewhere else. To me, that is not a problem. I am the type of consumer who cares about to whom I am giving my money. So I searched about their corporate practices and was impressed by what I found. I am very proud of their philosophy of supporting small businesses and drive a positive change in the world.

This Company has been horrible to deal with. They signed me up for automatic orders, charged my credit card an never even shipped anything to me. It has taken three weeks to get a refund through their terrible customer service. One of their agents even said that I was lucky the were even talking to me about it. Highly DO NOT Recommend!

I order perhaps only once a year as I either forget I have the service or really don't see anything I want to buy here. The annual cost of access is quite a bit more than the "savings" I'm supposedly getting. Definitely not worth it for me. Now just trying to figure out how to cancel... they've made it hard to find.

This market is similar to a local co-op grocery. They have high quality products that can be hard to find at chain supermarkets. The Thrive branded products are great too. Good prices for good products. I contacted customer service about a torn package and they refunded my money.

My wife & I have really enjoyed a lot of the Thrive products, which can be hard to find elsewhere, especially for discounted prices. The membership idea and applying that $$ for families in need is also something I am happy to support. I am not at all bothered by the out of stock notices that occur on occasion - some people here are griping about that, but the products usually show up before long and I can appreciate how challenging it is to coordinate and source all of these goods. I have been a member of thrive market for 3 years now. Every year I contemplate if it's worth the membership fee- and trust me it is! When I Look back to see how much I saved on my favorite brands and how many free things I have gotten it's worth every penny. They are also always adding more products! Highly recommend!

Never disappointed by products I buy here. Nice to have all delivered to my door. One time I ordered a chocolate bar in summer, and it was melting when it arrived - they refunded my money and said they'd remember that South Florida is hot from April to November.

My sister referred me to Thrive Market and I'm so glad she did. Just in purchasing vitamins/supplements alone, the amount of money I save buying from Thrive instead of the grocery store or vitamin stores more than pays for the Thrive membership. Plus, I love the selection of healthy food and clean skincare products they have, especially since I have special dietary needs and struggle to find products I can eat from the traditional grocery stores. And I appreciate the emails letting me know when an item I like is in stock. That's super helpful. I'm very satisfied with my membership, the products, and the shopping experience.

I started purchasing coffee from Thrive and then found they have so many really, really good gluten-free items that I can't find anywhere else. Also love the mission to help families less fortunate than ours to have healthy food.

So let me start by saying I tried thrive market last year for some free coconut oil, and cancelled the membership after because I did not want to pay the fee. Not sure what others are talking about because it was super easy for me to cancel. I just emailed them and they replied back trying to get me to stay (which is expected) I politely said no and then they went ahead and cancelled after. Very simple. I've recently been trying to make healthy changes in my life and whenever I search for organic products online, Thrive Market always has the cheapest prices! I considered joining again because the prices you cannot find anywhere else. I joined and have nothing but good words to say! The customer service is amazing! I accidentally ordered the wrong item and it was too late to change it so they gave me a gift card to make up for it. I would recommend this website to anyone. Love the messages they promote and love the prices!

I have been ordering from Thrive for over a year now. My packages arrive promptly and nicely wrapped. My membership is well worth the fee as the local prices are a good deal higher--20 - 25%. I am never disappointed.

Very sketchy company. I have been trying to cancel my membership since June of this year and it's now December. Customer service is awful. I'm not trying to sound dramatic, but it's honestly corrupt how they've handled my complaints. Do not sign up!

So far I do like Thrive Market for the fact that it has a good selection of organic and low waste products. I have found that most items on my list are cheaper on thrive market or at least the same price. I wish they would tell you when a sale is ending because I was trying to stock up on The Honest co., diaper rash cream when it was on sale for $7 and everywhere else it is $10. Along with a lot of other reviews, the out of stock items is a bit annoying if they don't give an estimate on when that specific product may be returning (I understand a lot goes into this process). Overall I will keep my free month trial membership and consider keeping it by the end of this month.

I moved to an island last year from a city where we were members of a local food co-op. Every time I order on Thrive it reminds me that I can still shop like I had a local co-op but instead I get the convenience of having it delivered to my door. It's true, sometimes, Thrive is out of the things I want but they have an option to get email notifications when the item you want is back in stock. I have three growing sons and so I almost always have an ongoing shopping list which makes the need for relatively frequent orders not such a big deal. The fifty dollar minimum for free shipping is easy to get to. I highly recommend them!

I haven't tried the powder yet l! I'll write again But, The order had my shipping at $5.95 which is probably what it will cost to ship my small tooth powder order. It would not let me process without answering yes or no to your membership and agreeing to $9.95 shipping! Kind of a rip off. I don't mind paying my actual shipping charges. I should not be punished for wanting to purchase from you without being a member! It's $5! But it is a principle matter!

I am 2 months shy of reaching my 1-year mark as a Thrive member. I love shopping on this site. I typically LOVE grocery shopping, but there's something about having all the essentials in one spot - brands that or types of food that I would typically buy. To be honest, I signed up for Thrive because of the brand Good Catch (it's only available on Thrive) and have purchased not only food, but also beauty and cleaning supplies. I actually bought my diffuser on here too!
Even during this crazy pandemic, they are providing me some things that I'd rather buy here. Sure, they're out of things - every grocery store or all-in-one store (i. E. Target/Walmart) is! I am also contributing to a company that gives back to the community. I can't be mad at that.
The reason for 4 stars is because they're packaging can be a little surplus. I do love that they take care of my purchases through special shipping/handling, but the usage of plastic bags can be overwhelming. I have started to reuse them.
