Bought tickets for a show in Toronto. There were almost no tickets left so these thieves charged 261% over the ticket's original price. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
Paid $610 for 3 tickets, original price was $49 kids, $59 adults.
They jusy pay something to be on the first recommended line when you type in: TICKETS
Dispute option resolved this issue.
Purchased tickets to a 6 pm game. I called them to tell them the game is at 1 pm not 6 pm the sameday obviously i couldn't go because of the time. They claim since i called them to tell the game was at 1 and not 6 pm that i was aware of the time. NO REFUND. SPENT OVER 3 HOURS DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. TRUST ME DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Terrible service. Insanely overpriced. I would never consider them again for another service. Go to one of the big chain providers. TM SH etc
I was charged $305 more than in ticketmaster and seating in the last raw. This company is a scam. Do not purchase tickets through them.
Awful. Bought tickets to a show that had already been changed. No help in ANY resolutions and ZERO communication. Just plain awful
Run from this company. They don't even deserve a one rating. The only website with positive reviews of TicketCenter is from Ticketcenter. They charged me $ 425.50 for two concert tickets. I thought I was on the NJPAC website. They scrupulously place themself there. They put you on a timer so you're trying to purchase your tickets quickly. Shortly after I checked back on NJPAC and saw all tickets were selling for $69.00. I called within 5- 10 minutes and was told no refunds.I hadn't even received the tickets. I received a text stating I would get it by January 27th. The concert is January 29th. I saw they quickly debited my account in a second. I called my bank for the fraud department. It took awhile but they resolved it. I sent a lot of documentation. 1) Proof that the tickets sold for $69.00 only. 2) The text indicating when I would receive the tickets. 3) Several reviews from people like us telling our experiences and how it is a scam!
The merchant sent a rebuttal to the bank that they forwarded to me. It was in very small print. In that small print along with a lot of other bs it stated a buyer agrees to accept tickets 1 hour before the event. These people are wild. I hope the US Attorney Office slams them good.
@ticketmaster …. They do business with them …$#*! this $#*! I don't have my tickets amd it's saying they were claimed!
Don't buy from these cheats... I bought 3 tickets to BON JOVI CONCERT in San Jose Ca for June 16 and they cost me $971.63, After BON JOVI cancelled all his concerts and we where suppose to get "vouagers" from "ticket center" and recieved nothing. I called bbb and filed with and nothing I contacted my credit people and nothing but lies from ticketcenter. These frauds lie lie lie using a third party based in Idado who do their advertisement for them. I have contacted the DOJ of California and they responded, will continue to inform them about these liars and cheats. So, PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THESE LYING CROOKS!
My daughter purchased $200 worth of concert tickets from here and they were never sent to her email! They are impossible to get in contact with!
I bought two $20.00 tickets and $245.00 was charged on my credit card. This is a rip off! Beware of shopping on line with this company.
I have only given 1 star because zero stars wasn't an option. I attempted to purchase tickets to an event and was under the impression they would be transferred over shortly afterwards. I didn't receive the transfer so I attempted to reach out to them with questions and to get updates both via email and phone calls. They would not allow me to get through on the phone, they kept directing me to email the site. I emailed a couple times without response. They also will only let you email through their site, not through your own email account so you can keep paper trails (another red flag) I would receive a customer survey the next day asking if they had resolved any issues. Clearly they received the emails, they chose not to respond. I fully believe I've been scammed for a significant amount of money. The 3 tickets purchased were not cheap the were over 1K. Not to mention the experience has been disappointing because the tickets were supposed to be a gift to my daughter. When I first tried to purchase the tickets on my Amex card, American Express wouldn't process the order saying it was fraud. I should have taken that as a HUGE red flag, but was under the stress of timing out on getting the popular tickets so I used my Mastercard instead and the charge went through. Now I am having to dispute the charge as the company is completely nonresponsive and I do not have the transfer of the tickets. Save yourself the hardship, find another source to work with. Do not get scammed.
This site makes you think you are purchasing directly from the venue. Paid more than double the price. Do not use ticket center! Thieves
BUYER BEWARE - this website is overcharging for tickets to event and they have huge fees attached they do not disclose - find another site to purchase from and do your homework.
Never use this site. 75% mark up on average! Not endorsed by the artist or affiliated to the venue. Scalpers!
A few weeks ago, I purchased 6 tickets for the 2023 Daytona 500 for a few friends that live out of state. We all planned our vacation to Daytona as we have been doing for 17 years. Today I receive a telephone call from Ticket Center telling me "The vendor" revoked the tickets. I have never in my 50 plus years of purchasing tickets for many events heard such a ridiculous story. Absolutely ludicrous to now not have tickets for the event which is 4 days away and a sold-out venue.
I ask to speak to a Supervisor, and I ask for the company's corporate address which the person I was speaking with was not allowed to give this information out. I get placed on hold for approx. 7 minutes waiting for a supervisor. The supervisor "Janay" comes on the line and states I'm going to get a full refund however it takes time, as long as my bank takes to retrieve the refund and she states she is not allowed to give out the corporate address. I ask to speak to her supervisor and or Manager and she tells me they only answer emails, they don't take calls. I'm scratching my head trying to understand what type of business practice is this? I've been in business for over 30 years and no company I've worked for will shy away from a customer and avoid resolving issues. So, I'm out $2600.00 for who know how long, my friends who traveled halfway across the country don't have tickets to a venue we've been attending for 17 years and there isn't one person at Ticket Center that gives a sh**. Pathetic customer service at best.
Buyer beware! Stay Away from this company at all costs!
The 1-star rating is as low as you can go... it's a zero for sure. This company should train their employees.
We purchased MMA tickets that were $70 for a general admission when we could have bought them at the event center for $25. A scam
Similar to many reviews here, Tickets Center is indeed a dishonest company. We purchased tickets over 3 months in advance for a football game in another state. Here's a summary of the issues we encountered:
1) We did not receive the tickets that we requested. We received a different section/row that was obstructed.
2) Unlike most 3rd party ticket sites, we did not immediately receive the tickets. It was not until almost 3 months later and multiple calls and complaints that we received the tickets. If we had a change of plans there would not have been the opportunity to re-sell the tickets or get our money back.
3) Only after we purchased the tickets did we receive an email from Tickets Center stating there was no guarantee our seats would be together, meaning the 5 of us could potentially be split up.
4) The same tickets we "purchased" (row/section) continued to be for sale on multiple other 3rd party sites (Vivid Seats, etc.) meaning Tickets Center never secured our seats until later or, possibly more nefariously, wanted to wait to sell us less desirable / less costly seats to increase their profit.
5) Multiple times we called Ticket Center and worked thru our credit card company to complain and request our money back. They refused.
6) This last one is our own fault, but the markup on the tickets was egregious. We were eager to see our son play and did not do the typical due diligence. Regardless, lesson learned to never do business with this company.
7) When you try to find out information about the company ownership or background you reach a bunch of dead ends.
Lastly, consumers would be wise to complain about this company to their state attorney general and chamber of commerce as lawsuits have been filed in New York and elsewhere for unethical business practices of this company and other 3rd party ticket distributors.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You have no recourse once you purchase. And, you may or may not get your products. Avoid these people like the plague.
Answer: Ticket Center will not issue refunds, but instead issues store credit. Conveniently blaming all cancelled events on COVID-19, in which they changed their refund policy due to COVID-19. This was never their policy beforehand.
