Today we had the pleasure of meeting Ms Karyn S. From the Kildeer IL store. She represented her employer so positively that we went straight to the sight to see what we wanted! Living in New Orleans, she told us there is one in Metairie. I explained that we rarely leave Orleans parish and she let us know that Torrid.com has the same, and sometimes better selection! What a salesperson! We wish she worked for US! Thank you Karyn!
Masonville mall 8:00 pm-the 2 staff on hand were absolutely the laziest, most unfriendly, unhelpful personnel. We had to hunt them down in the store, they couldn't find a price on anything and they refused to let us try anything on with 20 minutes left. No announcement just rude and abnoxious. We had torrid cash to use so placed a large order and had a difference to pay. I opted to pay it for my daughter... mind you this was memorial day weekend. It just went down hill from there and she never received the merchadise nor did she get new torrid cash because it was past the date. So what they said was since it was my credit card the package would have to come to me. And its been one bs line after another. I spoke with one supervisor and she assured me it qas taken care. It wasnt and now i am still waiting to hear from a supervisor. PLEASE do not use torrid online or store for that matter. They do not care about their customers. Spent over an hour to just make sure they refunded me for a return.
I have so much to explain about my bad experience with Torid. I wonder if they ever question their bad bad bad management? They keep my last pay, I text them, they told me to wait 5 more bus days, I text them back, they don't answer. It's been 2 months now. God knows guys! Keep it up.

I have shopped at this store for many years and it seems that the quality of their cloths gets worse and their prices get higher. I have returned some items for falling apart after washing (as directed) just once. This time is my last and final time I will NEVER buy anything from them again... I got a cute pair of skull sweat pants for Christmas this year and I love them but yet AGAIN after a couple of washes they now have a whole in the seam and the fabric seems to just be falling apart... very upset because I really like these. VERY UPSET
Torrid decided to hire the most rude customer service agents ever. I call to complain that my package has not arrived, even tho UPS and Torrid sight is saying it's been delivered. I call Torrid and this women with a nasty attitude, says it's out of Torrids hands. I call UPS and check and it says my package again has been delivered. My question is... where's the merchandise then? I call Torrid again saying how can I file a claim, the lady again rudely says you have to wait 5 days before we can do anything. Interestingly enough you guys take the money out of my account at your earliest connivence, but I have to wait 5 days for you to care about my package not being delivered. Yea, not thank you! If this happens to you guys out there take it up with your credit card company IMMEDIATELY! You have options! Don't pay for merchandise, and then not receive your products. Especially in times like this...
BUYERS BEWARE! Do not buy from Torrid.com. I bought a dress online and it was a huge mistake. The dress was for a wedding I was attending. I didn't get the dress till the day before the wedding because the UPS guy said he tried to make a delivery but the "customer wasn't home" even though I was home all day (I live in a condominium so I suspect he didn't even try to get in through the front gate). I had to inconveniently go to the UPS store nearest me to pick up the next day. Then I opened the package and tried on the dress only to find out that it was damaged! This was the most aggravating online purchase experience I've ever had.
I have bought most of my clothes at Torrid for about 4 years. When I first started shopping there everyone was friendly. It seems the last couple years they have the rudest employees and I struggle to find clothes i like. I went to the mall the other day and the only thingv they seem to care about is if you are wearing a mask. 2 ladies left immediately when confronted but I stayed and tried to shop. My daughter' left after a couple minutes too. It was so hot I couldn't breath and it was just a miserable experience. Torrid was the only store in the mall requiring masks so we just shopped the other stores. This is not the first time we have had this issue even when I have been the only one in the store.
I don't see them making it if they don't make some changes.

I never received my strappy lace bralette, just an email telling me I wasnt going to be receiving it. Instead I got only the two pairs of matching underwear that I will never wear, which i told them not to bother sending because I don't have the bralette to match, and I don't even wear underwear normally. Emailed torrid at two different emails that I supposedly would get some customer service from to get refund but still haven't received a reply from anybody. Now I'm sitting here with two pairs of useless underwear, i'm out money, im disappointed and frustrated with my shopping experience with torrid AGAIN (BC this isn't the first time my order was not fulfilled... EVERY other time this has happened). Until I receive some customer service I will be leaving bad reviews for torrid.
I put in an order for pants with a couple bras. They cancelled my pants saying they weren't in stock but they still had them on the site. And they still do. But I wasn't t allowed to cancel my order. They whole reason I ordered was for the pants.
Torrids customer service... aint no customer service! No response back email or phone call as asked on customer support. It has been 16 days from the time I ordered online and no update. Still processing. Tortids is very unprofessional and what a waste of money on expensive same old looks they call clothing?
The store I went to in louisiana was awesome. As a bbw crossdresser, I received the best customer service from the 2 ladies there. One, herself was a bbw and we shared the same styles and she went above and beyond to be the best help she could.
The last time I was on the website I had a little problem. I was hitting add to cart and it would say it did but it was not in my cart. Some of my things would go into the cart but not everything. Other than that I have never had a problem and I love shopping there. There are always a few coupons avaible or there is always something good in the clearance section.
I was asked at checkout if I would like to donate to black lives matter and was taken by surprise as I feel all lives matter, I just don't feel that's a question they should ask at checkout it made my experience shopping there decide to never go in that store again. Bought two items from the website, I have been trying to return them for weeks. The items didn't fit and were butt ugly. I have been trying to return them for three weeks. I started the return online and was told to print the packing slip. The link took me directly to the website and I was unable to print a packing slip from there. I have made multiple phone calls to them. I called and was promised a packing slip and a shipping label. I have spent approximately 2 1/2 hours on the phone and was finally told today that unless I was a VIP member I wouldn't get those things. Although the reps and the supervisor were very pleasant, I would never, ever, purchase any product from them. Horrible experience.
I purchased items on my debit card. The items didn't fit properly so I returned them. The store offered to order them in a different size. When they ordered them in a different size they evidently refunded my money to a gift card unbenounced to me. So the new sizes came in, again they didn't fit properly so I returned them. I was told the money would be on my debit card in 7-10 business days. Well they didn't put it on my debit card they put it on the n original gift card but that was used in store by cashier who never told me she used it. So now I don't have the product, I don't have my money on the debit card, and I don't have the gift card and they don't reissue it. So essentially they stole my money!
I just want to say a great big thank you to all of the girls at the Torrid in Flatirons mall, Colorado. My daughter and I brought in our transgender friend to find some clothes. All of the sales associates were incredible and nonjudgmental. They were all willing to help and advise our friend. We really appreciate your great professional service. Thanks for being so sweet and making us feel so very comfortable.
Went to find a pair of shorts. I wanted a nice pair of 5.5 inch. All of the shorts were 3.5 inches with jegging like material. Ummm this is a plus size store! Not all women want their shorts riding up their behind! Why are all of the shirts floral print with ruffles! Just disappointing this season!
I have been shopping at torrid since about 2014, and I have a credit card through them and I have never had any issues. Today I placed an order through the app and didn't realize till I got to the confirmation page that the wrong shipping address was used. I looked and couldn't find any place to edit or cancel my order so I call customer service. I was then told that even tho I literally had just placed the order minutes before the phone call that I could not edit or cancel my order. I was told I would have to wait until I get the email telling me it has shipped then contact the carrier and change the address through them. Does that even make sence!? Because it does not make any sence to me at all. Now If I miss the Email or don't have the time to make the call to the carrier, my package will delivered to an address that I havent lived at for a few years now. I would rather shop in store than online or the app but the store near me doesn't have very much stock.
I ordered three items online. Loved the shirt however I returned two dresses because they didn't look good on me. It's been 5 weeks and still no refund. I contacted their costumer service via email. They responded that the items had still not been received in their warehouse. Shouldnt their shipping/return label they provide be priority mail? Even regular snail mail shouldn't take over 4 weeks go there. They told me it would take 4 weeks to receive a refund after it's received by the warehouse and after the items are inspected. They are basically holding $60 hostage. I even sent a follow up email showing them a copy of the return label and asked them to refund me. Received the same generic response that the items still haven't been received. I am not happy, I have no doubt that due to their slow processing, they will say I missed the 60 day window to return the items even though they were returned within 3 weeks of ordering them.
I am a male crossdresser. The store staff is wonderful, very helpful,, and has always made me feel comfortable while shopping. They doo a great job helping me pick out items. Torrid is the only store I will ever by my bra and panties from. Their selection is always very good. I love they have a good number of matching bra and panty sets. The fit, comfort level is great. I have shopped in store as well as have had the store order items for me. I will be Torrid girl for ever.
I placed an order on June 10. Today is June 21 and my order is still in "Processing" status. I emailed customer service inquiring and asking if I can please just cancel my order since I will not receive in time for what I ordered my items for. The response, I guess I should be grateful I even got a response, was just a copy/paste from their website about FAQ. After this I am not sure I will ever order from them again, and I have been a customer for years.

If ordering online, keep in mind it can take 30+ days to get your order. If ordering for a trip order 2+ months ahead of time, in case you have to exchange, or you will not receive on time. Also, I have tried returning 2 pairs of pants at the store that I ordered online and they would not let me return them in store, said I had to mail them back.

Long time, loyal customer. I've spent thousands in stores around the US. Even more online. And my last experience has been completely different and terrible. I don't know if they have new owners, new direction for the company, or what, but it's a complete $#*! show. Ordered stuff online, some for pick up- received an email that my order was ready to be picked up from the store, drove an hour to the store, to pick up the gift I bought for a bridal shower that afternoon. They didn't have the order at all. For the stuff coming to my house, Only 1 of my 8 things have arrived. The rest all shows as "shipped" which was shipped prior to what actually came. No tracking number. Contacting customer service is a complete joke and waste of time. Yes their clothes are super cute. Yes they are made to fit plus size, curvy girls perfectly. However, it's all cheaply made stuff that they charge way too damn much money for. Which I was fine with, until now when I have hundreds of dollars worth of stuff in limbo somewhere, and no one can answer to where it is. Extremely disappointed.
I love torrid so much. Almost all of my purchases from them have been cute, trendy, well-fitting, whimsical and overall comfortable. I love the clothes because they are good quality.

Tried to Returned a pair of Jeans with receipt and bag for $56.95, Tags still on the jeans, (never worn) at the Dawsonville GA location. Purchased in late February, tried to return 9/4/20, first store web said open at 11am, store did not open until 12:10pm. Once opened would only refund $25. Even with COVID and being closed and would only give store credit. With my weight loss can no longer shop at Torrid. I was willing to accept half price due to hard times for so many business, but not store credit. Buyer beware.
I will never shop Torrid again. You are behind the times. People use debit or credit cards to purchase. If you loose the receipt for an unfortunate reason you can't get it returned to the card. Even Burlington has that option and they are a store with really cheap pricing. Why is torrid so far behind and your merchandise is so expensive but you don't make it easy to return. I will never recommend or shop torrid again. I used my credit card but I don't shop here may twice in my life and I don't have an account. I am very very angry and I want you to take my return with my credit statement. GET WITH THE TIMES IOIOTS. You anyanything on at the store due to the pandemic and if you loose the receipt even though you used a card because you so out of touch. You I hope will loose business and close down. You deserve to be out of business. I ca even rate you that is bad you are.
Return shipping costs are on the customer, totally. Called for service, apart from being polite and saying they are sorry, nothing is done. They say say that since covid shipping costs are too expensive. Suggested I mske return in a store, don't they know there aren't any in Canada?!?!?!
