Living in New Orleans, she told us there is one in Metairie. I explained that we rarely leave Orleans parish and she let us know that Torrid.com has the same, and sometimes better selection! Masonville mall 8:00 pm-the 2 staff on hand were absolutely the laziest, most unfriendly, unhelpful personnel. We had to hunt them down in the store, they couldn't find a price on anything and they refused to let us try anything on with 20 minutes left. No announcement just rude and abnoxious. Really the best selection of cute plus size clothes. Significantly more cotton and rayon options than competitors. Clothes are typically good quality (but occasionally have designs easily damaged in washer) clothing, the majority of shoes are not great quality - but they are also one of the few stores I can find boots that fit my calves.
Prices are generally excessive - but they have a number of excellent sales.
It is inconsistent whether you can leave a review - which is frustrating.

I've shopped here for years. Before moving to Texas I mainly used online because I lived so rural the nearest store is an hour away. Lately I've noticed they push online because the stores rarely have the same prices. That is quite annoying, I also suggest you return to the store - way less headache. The clothes are good quality slightly high in price but I've always laughed at the sweat by the fit because this is not true, I own jeans in three different sizes yet the fit exactly the same.

I paid off my account. I recently received a new statement for $1. Why? I called & tried to close account. They stated they do not charge these types of fees. Today I found my account is closed, but the $1 is still there. I refuse to pay it and am worried they will tack on a late fee. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I love Torrid brand clothes, but if you order online and make a mistake in size, they will not change it, even if you call immediately. You must wait weeks for it to show up only to send it all back to exchange. Such a waste. It's an asinine policy.

Absolutely love Torrid. No issues with funds ever, yes they can be a bit slow with orders, but they are always traceable and I am a International client. Deals are amazing if you can catch them like haute cash and other online 1 day promos. Returns take some time as well, but everything has been credited back with 1-2 months (this could be because of my location). Quality and one of a kind designs. Especially for the girl with a little more ;)

I ordered over $800 worth of clothing on 6/15 to be shipped to the store. I'm going on vacation 8/1. Today is 7/11 and my order is still not there. That's 4 days short of a month. On the website my order status is "in process" with no shipping links or anything. Maybe they thought I'd forget about it. I called the store three times but they didn't answer their phone, so I had to do online chat. When I go to the store, I might just tell them to return everything and refund me because of their piss-poor customer service. This is how you treat a customer that spends that amount of money? This is the first time I've dealt with this company and undoubtedly my last.

I ordered a sweatshirt, leggings and a pair of shoes on August 28,2023. I was hoping to have these for a party in October but it didn't come for that. When tracking the parcel it said delivered! I didn't get it. So I contacted customer service and the said they would send another parcel because they were not be able to reimburse the money. So I accepted their offer to resend my order.
35 days in transit the tracking site says delivered! I still did not receive my parcel. I was offered 70% of my cost?!?! Are they for real? If they can't guarantee that items purchased will be delivered, stay out of foreign countries. Prices were excellent but it's not so good for the consumer who pays but doesn't receive their items! I would have added a photo but I have NOTHING to show for!

While Torrid clothing is usually great quality and design, DO NOT waste your time ordering seasonal clothing from Torrid. If you can't pick it up from a store you probably will not get it in time to use for current season. They run massive sales when they either can't process the orders or don't have control over the inventory system to insure the timetable given to customers and inventory available is actually realistic. It is almost a scam. I also ordered clothing with hope that it would at least be shipped in the slow timetable suggested but now two weeks later it has not even been processed when it was supposed to be in hand according to system.

Do not order online or try to get a status update. You can only get the same information you see online from customer service. They really are only there to take pointless orders for merchandise that seemingly does not exist. Only buy from Torrid stores when you know it is really available for purchase. It is a shame since they have nice stylish clothing

I have been shopping at Torrid for many years and recently I made a pretty huge purchase. My t shirts were all 3x but were so inconsistent with sizes. Some were way too tight while others were way too big. Not to mention I bought two bras and they are legit some of the worst fitting bras I've ever worn. I cannot even return or exchange them because of their "final sale" rule which should not even apply to online orders. I wear a size DD and these bras fit more like a DDD and the quality is terrible. I bought a pair of boots that were my size 8 with wide calf and were still too small, but then again were also final sale so I can't return them. So Never ever again will I shop here online. You literally have to try on everything before you buy it otherwise you'll be out of hundreds of dollars like me.

I do love Torrid, but their shipping system is atrocious. I ordered $242 worth of clothes on June 8, here it is July 2nd and they're still processing my order. I can't get anyone in the local store to verify if my ordered had been delivered because they don't answer their phones, and corporate is just as hard to contact. I'm so disappointed with torrid.

I pay my Torrid card every month as my bank statement states. Torrid say my payments arent showing up on their end! What?!
Thats funny because their company is definitely taking payments on my end. I'm am paying off and never dealing with this crooked company TORRID again! Use cash in store only if you decide to shop there. Saving 15% is not worth crushing your credit score!

Just ok. The clothes are very expensive. Even other plus sized clothes stores are reasonable. I used to like this site but it's very costly. Shipping used to be $10 or so but they dropped it a little thankfully.
I ordered clothes before as per sizing chart and have been clothes that were too small or too big. You have to send back returns on your dime--of course.
Don't bother paying for faster shipping, it's very slow. Buy elsewhere. Save yourself stress and money!

I've had my charge card for almost 3 years and get a letter that they lowered my credit limit, are you kidding me! I spent over 340 dollars on my charge card last month alone and paid it off in full in a month! Guess paying customers isn't what Torrid actually wants! Orders so don't bother paying the next day charge. Every single time my has failed to turn up next day. I have spent over £400 on one order which has failed to turn up. Customer service have emailed the courier, emailed?! Ridiculous if you have an account you should have access to contact them. I can't believe this company is still allowed to trade. No solutions or help offered. I only order because of Lorna Luxe once her contract ends I will be shopping elsewhere as the service and quality if we are being honest is not worth the price

This 'business' is a scam. Don't purchase anything from them because customer services is unable to solve any customer problems and you might just end up losing some hard-earned money. They were unwilling to cancel the order, correct my email, or refund me my money.

They carry mainly outdated granny style clothes for plus size women because of course who would wanna see a bigger girl in anything stylish or cute really overpriced as well because there's virtually no where else for plus size ppl to shop. Really sucks.

They charged me $88 for shipping then cancelled one of my items, in spite of it still being available at a higher price on their website, as the result of a "website glitch" (their words). They didn't refund me the portion of shipping involved, and when I asked if they could just send the dress, as it is in fact available, they said I could call back and re-order it. I live in Australia. I'm not available when they're open and international call costs are through the roof, let alone paying yet more exorbitant shipping. They could've solved this so easily by just adding the dress back to my order, or refunding part of my shipping.

This company is a joke. I made two purchases. Ended up not getting anything. Delta with horrible customer service. Even the president is horrible. They offered me 20 which was a joke. Torrid is extremely slow to ship their products, taking weeks to deliver. They also take months to process returns or do not process them at all. They do not follow through on their promises to process refunds. Buyer beware and shop with caution. It has been three months and they have done nothing but lead on with lies. Shame on you Torrid.
