Today we had the pleasure of meeting Ms Karyn S. From the Kildeer IL store. She represented her employer so positively that we went straight to the sight to see what we wanted! Living in New Orleans, she told us there is one in Metairie. I explained that we rarely leave Orleans parish and she let us know that Torrid.com has the same, and sometimes better selection! What a salesperson! We wish she worked for US! Thank you Karyn!
Masonville mall 8:00 pm-the 2 staff on hand were absolutely the laziest, most unfriendly, unhelpful personnel. We had to hunt them down in the store, they couldn't find a price on anything and they refused to let us try anything on with 20 minutes left. No announcement just rude and abnoxious. Torrid has customer service that can't resolve anything no matter how hard you try. I haven't received refunds in multiple orders and it's made me cancel my credit card. I notice a pattern with them, if an item is actually on sale they cancel the order or it never ships. If you try to rebuy that item for full price it ships immediately. They deserve to go under as a company because they are shady. All my orders from the last 2 months were canceled.

Account number is redacted on every email and statement they send you, so impossible to get your account number unless you have your physical credit card handy, which I don't. It's somewhere in my house but I'm not sure where since I rarely use it. When you call customer service you get an Indian call center and your voice echoes back, making it nearly impossible to communicate with them and they are not helpful at all. They actually hung up on me when I told them to take me off speaker phone so I could hear myself think or close my account. I was able to pay my outstanding balance, so I'm not using this card ever again, so they will just close it themselves because it's way too hard to deal with them.

Everything I bought this year has literally fallen apart. 4 tank tops all have holes in them. If I am spending $30+ on a tank... I need it to last more than 2 times. I have a shirt I bought from this in 2009? And is still in perfect condition. Price has gone up and quality way down. Shipping is atrocious. Only underwear is good.

Clothes are great but absolutely do not sign up for their credit card ( no matter how much of a discount they give you, interest rate is rediculous! And never shop on line, especially if you are human and make a mistake, they absolutely do not cancel orders ever!

( 2 different experiences, one with their card and one with their online department) I would say I may purchase items from their store but after all of this I am pretty certain I need to find a new place to shop.

I have been shopping here 20 some years and the prices which are insane keep going up and and quality going down. Half the stuff is always excluded from promotions. Torrid Cash is an absolute joke. I have over 500 in torrid cash but you can only use about 250 at a time. I would have to spend $1000 to get able to use it despite it being 25 off of 50. It doesn't even make it worth it. There aren't many options available for plus size women but I'll lose weight before I keep shopping here.

I had no success since opening the card.Tried to take clothes back to store...to exchange sizes.They returned clothes and I sit here 10 days later with NO clothes The credit card company can see the return but won't authorize the exchange.Worst service ever.I have missed an Avent.Will never do business with this company again.

I'll start off by saying that I have made many purchases from Torrid. Their cloth are creat, the quality is good and the shipping is fast. The reason for my one-star review is that my shipping charges doubled on my last order. I thought it was a mistake but I called them and they handed me some line about charging by weight which is not true because some of my previous orders were larger. My shipping charges went from $24.00 to $48.00! That seems crazy to me when other sites offer free shipping once you reach a certain amount in purchases. Not Torrid. The more you spend with them the higher the shipping charge. Something to keep in mind if you decide to order from them

Worst Customer Service ever! You can't reach their toll-free number. You're on hold for over half an hour just to be sent to voicemail and disconnected. The chat doesn't work and they don't respond to email. For the second year in a row are used my birthday reward. And for the second year in a row they canceled my order. Meanwhile the item is available and in stock online. I don't even know why I bother with the store. Horrible customer service. And their products fall apart now. So the quality has gone downhill as well. Would not recommend them to anybody. Buy elsewhere.

You can order from them and never get your clothes. Then you have to do a LOT to get your refund, sad! Sometimes I haven't had the time for 6 emails and several calls to get my refund so I'm gonna stop shopping there and ask everyone I know to #BoycottTorrid until big women and femmes get the orders they ordered. Seems like a bit of a scam with so many people not receiving orders after big sales events but I know that when I've ordered on sales events with Hot Topic I have gotten my order. So I'm thinking big people often aren't respected and Torrid order fails are part of what that looks like in our lives. I'm just saying let's call it: we are better than this. #BoycottTorrid today and unsubscribe from their mailing list too. I purchased items online and had them shipped to my house. One of the items was a bikini top which I allegedly "stained" with deodorant. They sent the product back and rejected my return, even though the top does not fit. Not sure how I'm supposed to try on my purchases without risking hygienic product residue. Also not sure what the difference is between trying on a bikini top in store and leaving deodorant residue, and ordering it online and sending it back the next day after trying it on for 15 seconds. 10/10 would not recommend. Also, TERRIBLE customer service. Yikes. Will NEVER purchase an item from this company EVER again. Terrible business practices. Completely unethical.

For some who struggled finding a bra in her size you can't get at Victoria's secrets was found here. Only owned it maybe 4 months max and it broke and they won't do anything. It just adds on to the public view of being a big girl and you can't do anything to help fix the problem of a bra that should at least last a year not 4 months!

Sales associates are always on the phone. Each time I go to the store they are talking on their cellular and don't want to help. Usually they are rude and condescending. Yesterday I was trying to buy a gift and I ended having an argument over a question. I will never go back there. Whenever there are 3 associates there is worst because they just want to talk about their personal matters rather than help people.

Visited the Homestead, PA store on July 4 2019. I interested in some lace panties that hanging on display... I searched the table and could not find them, I asked the store clerk where could they be found and she said you look through the drawers. The store clerk should have assisted me with searching for the item... I have been to other stores and they were always willing to assist with locating what I was looking for... I will Not recommend this store to my friends & family... SAD

I love torrid beyond words can express. I have tried multiple stores in the past but something always was off, whether it was the quality of the material or just sizing issues, etc. I would have given Torrid 5 stars but I do wish that the pants were just a little cheaper than what they currently go for.
I have never personally had a shipping issue with any of my orders but I do know that I have tried on 3 different occasions to use my Torrid Credit Card and it seems like every time I am unable to do it, which when I online shop the total isn't that much so I just use my bank card. However, I would purchase more if I could use my torrid credit card. Not sure if it is necessarily a bad thing to not be able to use my card or not, considering it controls what I am actually buying/spending.
I recommend that if you have a large order though, it would be better to just go to the store if you can, and do smaller orders online.

UPDATE: I posted a poor review about two weeks ago and have to change my low score to a high mark. I called customer service once again and they replaced one item and refunded the other. The customer service agent was very professional, helpful and efficient. Thank you, Torrid!

THe quality of the fabrics they choose lra es much yo be desired. You certainly won't find high end fashion options. Instead you will find disposable clothing at higher end prices. Their jeans do not hols shape, the zippers on the jeans are ridiculously small. The t-shirts stretch out after one wear or ball up to the point they look a year old after one wash. A lot of the fashion is 'overdone'. But if you look you will find style choices to suit your needs in the short term.

Most places have free shipping that arrives in 2-3 days. I had to pay for shipping and it took 2 weeks. The clothes are nice for younger women but the styles are mostly too young for me. They're also overpriced. However, I have a hard to find bra size and they had mine so I got one and since there was a sale, got a nice teal blouse, too, but was unhappy I had to wait so long for delivery.

Pro: Clothing fits well and properly for a heavier set girl. I find that most of the plus size clothing from regular stores fit me oddly so I usually go to Torrid.
Cons: Even though the cut of the fabric fits great, the clothing itself is pretty pricey for some mediocre quality fabrics. Some fabrics are prints are seriously a bit immature (and hideous) as if they think you're a three year old girl who wants random cartoons printed all over your dress. The shipping is HORRIBLE.
I've placed a total of 13 orders on Torrid so far, it usually takes anywhere from 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS (not including weekends) before the order will be marked shipped. The sales are terrible and truly a joke.
Not sure who even really falls for their sales anymore, but it isn't really a "sale" because they jack up the prices, therefore that makes the "sale" price close to being regular priced. Nice try, though.

I am an avid shopper and one thing that is absolutely absurd is your special promotions. I shop clearance regularly and the prices can be so great then you have a great promotion and up all the clearance prices about 20-40$ depending on the item. I have never seen so many clearance prices change on the same item. I have found jeans on clearance for 19$ the. The same exact pair in clearance during the sale is 49$. The biggest scam with sales and clearance. You have a huge fan base and tons of shoppers and rip them off consistently.

I was a little surprised reading the reviews for this company. I do agree their prices are kind of ridiculous but I have never had an issue with the quality of the clothing or the customer service. I have bought quite a lot from Torrid and will continue to do so because, for me, everything has always fit perfectly, is great quality, and makes me feel confident. I will say though, they used to have a lot of different styles and now when I am scrolling through their new stuff I feel like I am looking at the same things over and over. Kinda boring. It is a good place to get basics, but basics shouldn't cost that much.

Do not ever order online from Torrid. I placed an online order two weeks ago and still have not received the merchandise. Customer service has been no help. All they tell me is that they are sorry it's taking so long and they are still processing the order. Seriously? Who takes this long just to process and not even ship? I don't even want the merchandise anymore.

I ordered a Christmas shirt and sweater on November 27th and my order didn't get to me till December 27th. It took a month to get to me a few states away. I ordered something from the U. K. that got to me faster. I asked for a refund because not only was it late but I no longer could wear what I bought for Christmas. They emailed me saying there was basically nothing they could do. Once I finally had the package in my hand I was getting ready to return it when I found out that not only do I have to pay for shipping for something I can't wear, but my refund would have been nonexistent (because of the return shipping price). My first and last time shopping on their site. If you are interested in their clothing just go check out the app poshmark. People sell their stuff for cheaper and will get to you in a much more timely manner.

I used to love doing business with Torrid. They have recently changed some items with website credit card billing and everything has gone to pot. My orders will get randomly cancelled with no notice to me. Customer service is rude and tries to blame problems on the customer. I used to have a smooth and good and simple online experience shopping with Torrid as a VIP. Now their shipping takes forever, and they have screwed up their online shopping to the point where, after spending many dollars with them, I no longer evemn want to do business with them.

I contacted there customer service and no one would help me. I spoke with Sarah ( who said she was a supervisor) and she did nothing for me.
Was insisting that I just take the refund and reorder the things again… she refused to contact the shipper or even replace the items.
She was ignorant and condescending.
Worst service.
I asked for her manger and that person never called me back.
