Today we had the pleasure of meeting Ms Karyn S. From the Kildeer IL store. She represented her employer so positively that we went straight to the sight to see what we wanted! Living in New Orleans, she told us there is one in Metairie. I explained that we rarely leave Orleans parish and she let us know that Torrid.com has the same, and sometimes better selection! What a salesperson! We wish she worked for US! Thank you Karyn!

We had to hunt them down in the store, they couldn't find a price on anything and they refused to let us try anything on with 20 minutes left. No announcement just rude and abnoxious. Torrid made an error in their torrid cash. I tried contacting them through online chat they said it wasnt a problem on their end so I went through with my order. They take my money and confirm the order but they wont ship it. So i call to figure out what is happening to my order. They put my on hold for almost 30min then they finally come back to let me know they cancelled my entire order! I didnt ask them to either, i just asked for an update on my order. Garbage company. Scumbags who cant own up to their own mistakes. Wont be shopping there again.

I ordered some things with a egift card and it wouldn't go through so I called customer service, was a little rude and didn't know what she was doing. I still don't know what the problem was with my gift card because it was never used. My debut card would not go through on phone but I tried on website and it went through. Never could use gift card. Next thing I know I looked on website to find out when I'll be receiving items and order was canceled. With no explanation.
I paid off my account. I recently received a new statement for $1. Why? I called & tried to close account. They stated they do not charge these types of fees. Today I found my account is closed, but the $1 is still there. I refuse to pay it and am worried they will tack on a late fee. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Every time I asked for a supervisor (3x) I was hung up on. Finally get someone, who I don't think was a supervisor because she couldn't figure the process of verifying there is nothing pending on my account, to tell Comenity so they can release my credit limit. Somehow the system duplicated 2 orders that had already processed and were received, and paid for! Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for it to possibly clear up. Wouldn't be a problem if we weren't in the Torrid Cash season and if I didn't have $1075 in Torrid cash to spend! IF they realize their error, the items I want will be gone, or we will miss the season all together! They are the absolute worst. If I miss out on $1075 (or ANY amount that I've earned) because of their problem, this card is getting shut down and everything I received that I haven't with yet will be returned. This system made me give them 1 star, but if it were up to me, they would get none!
I ordered an item from Torrid for my wife, and got confirmation in my email that I should be able to pick it up in the store as late as today. Well, I never received anything else from them, so I opened a chat session on the Torrid website just to learn that not only had they not actually processed the order, they actually didn't have the item in stock. They didn't charge me, but the fact that I had to go searching for the reason why my wife won't be receiving her gift today, and then having to tell her that I actually did attempt to get her something but got let down by this company is a reason I'll never shop Torrid again and will ensure others I know steer clear.

Try avenue.com, J.Crew has 3X now. Because Torrid's quality keeps plummeting and sale prices are still high. If the top is not a dress shirt like the Harper (w/ so much static) then it will wrinkle insanely and/or pill after 2-3 times warring. The pricey tops now look very cheap with little balls covering them. The lowest quality fabrics pill because the fibers are short strands. Long fibers stay together and are much less likely to pill but cost more. I always wash in cold, on delicate, and hang dry, and still they are a mess. Torrid knows they are the only option for more up-to-date looks for young women size 20+. They are NOT even "on trend"! Cringe floral prints, lace, ruffles, sculls, Disney, and so much Chiffon.

Only buy things when they are more than 50% off the sales pop up a handful of times a year and even then when their prices are most discounted you'll still feel ripped off due to the low quality.

Summer of 2023 I would have gave Torrid a 5 star. I still have pretty sandals with the tag on them. This fall and Winter 2023 all the shoes are ugly no type of style. Some of us with wide width feet don't have any other option.Torrid please do better with style and color.Thankyou
This company is trash. Don't waste your money on these backsliding liars. We bought an item on sale and they said the info was incorrect. It was perfect. They did it so they could take away the on sale price. Liars, thiever, and donkeys.
I have been trying for MONTHS to get Torrid customer service to correct an error on my acct.

Placed an order 7 days ago and its still processing it stated 10 days until order will be delivered. I called today and had the worst customer service telling me I should know during torrid cash it takes even longer to ship... I ordered from this place once 2 years ago and will never order again. I'm leaving on business trip and hope nobody steals my package while I'm away. Figure out logistics this is why companies fail.

They offer you 40% off your first order if you apply and are accepted for a torrid credit card. It's a pretty nice incentive since it's an expensive clothing line. I followed the directions, and immediately after approval clicked CHECK OUT. I wasted no time, I didn't close my browser, nothing! Their website did not save my card info or give me the 40%. I still ordered, because the items go out of stock so quickly. Sure enough customer service will not provide any future discount as a resolution to this issue. Then I go digging for information, and see that they have this listed elsewhere that they will not replace the discount if lost. Well if you have to put that on your page, it probably means you have TONS of people that this is happening to and making complaints about. I will be cancelling my card and not purchasing from this store again. I got roped into applying for this card, and it was a SCAM. They know it's happening because their website is faulty. Horrible customer service.

I stop ordering from them when I ordered 2 pairs of sandals from them they sent me a size 13 no good to me. Their return is so painful until throwing them away and taking the loss and never doing business with this company again was easier.
I place 8 orders during the presidents day sale. Each one was cancelled but the items are still listed on there site. When I called customer service I was told I could reorder however, since the sale is over it is now twice as much. I'm not doing business with these people again.

I love thier clothes, but living outside the US I have to order online. The clothes take ages to arrive, and if you have any issues dealing with customer services is a nightmare. I'm not sure if they actually have customer service people or if they are bots, as the replies make little to no sense, and you just seem to go round in circles without ever reaching a resolution. If they are actual people I think they must tell them to be dumb on purpose so you give up and just cut your losses.
I'm so F*cking mad. I bought beautiful sets of underwear from Torrid and was so happy when they came. I've been washing them carefully, just as the tags said to and yet they've already got holes! I bought these in August of this year and multiple of them have holes and the threads are fraying! Both in the lace and the actual fabric itself. I paid way too much for them to be falling apart so fast. Extremely disappointed and angry. We need more stores for plus size women that have cute stuff that's also well made because this is ridiculous.

I went yesterday to the store at Southwest Plaza. I slipped on something so grab the shelf trying not to hit the floor. The manager came over to tell me they stands are not meant to be leaned on. This morning my catching myself on the shelf has me in pain. I told them i slipped and that i hurt myself less by grabbing display. So thank you for caring it is time to re evaluate if your cloths is with all these horrible people you keep hiring.
I absolutely love this store with all of my heart as a big girl it is nice to be able to fit into clothes without trying hard lo BUT thr clothes are not only expensive but extremely cheaply made! I have 5 dresses from torrid and each and every one of them has either torn at the strap and had to be re-sewn or they are starting to tear at the strap and will eventually have to be re-sewn and that's really frustrating. I should not not have to spend $70 on a dress that's just going to break and look silly that has got to be fixed

I want first to state that the girls at the stores that I go to are great. They have awesome attitudes at the one in Homestead and the one at South Hills Village. That said, the clothing fashion has gone downhill tremendously. On top of that, if you have a problem, customer service will belittle you and treat you less than a supposed "special VIP Patron". My daughter and I spend quite a bit of money at torrid and we were treated very unfairly for $4. Long story short, there was a late fee tacked on to my daughter's account which she thought she had paid off in full. It appears that she paid all but $1.58. She talked to someone who promised to waive the fee. Months later my daughter was still receiving late payment notices for the $1.58 plus additional late fees. She no longer wanted to deal with it and finally just closed her account. Rather than keep her as a customer, they took $4 and list two customers. Im closing my account too.
Quality is hit or miss, mostly miss these days. I've spent tons of money there over the years and the prices go up but the quality has gone down. Good luck getting a refund when you make a return. I'm in the middle of a dispute on my credit card for a refund of $243 they owe me. I sent proof they received the package, received an email it could take 14 business days for the refund (website says 1 to 2 weeks, no business days mentioned) and here it is a month later and still nothing and now they are no longer answering my emails. They've lost me as a customer.
If I were you, I would not do business with this company. I spent $300 at their store and returned a $67 coat through the mail which they claim they never received yet I had the email stating that they did receive my return needless to say I never got my $67 back. It was a complete headache. Customer service was a complete joke.! But now I see with the other reviews and how many stars they have I should have looked up the reviews before shopping with them. It was my first shopping experience with them, and it will be my last.!
Absolutely love Torrid. No issues with funds ever, yes they can be a bit slow with orders, but they are always traceable and I am a International client. Deals are amazing if you can catch them like haute cash and other online 1 day promos. Returns take some time as well, but everything has been credited back with 1-2 months (this could be because of my location). Quality and one of a kind designs. Especially for the girl with a little more ;)
Orders so don't bother paying the next day charge. Every single time my has failed to turn up next day. I have spent over £400 on one order which has failed to turn up. Customer service have emailed the courier, emailed?! Ridiculous if you have an account you should have access to contact them. I can't believe this company is still allowed to trade. No solutions or help offered. I only order because of Lorna Luxe once her contract ends I will be shopping elsewhere as the service and quality if we are being honest is not worth the price
I've shopped here for years. Before moving to Texas I mainly used online because I lived so rural the nearest store is an hour away. Lately I've noticed they push online because the stores rarely have the same prices. That is quite annoying, I also suggest you return to the store - way less headache. The clothes are good quality slightly high in price but I've always laughed at the sweat by the fit because this is not true, I own jeans in three different sizes yet the fit exactly the same.
