I know we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, something which we could never have imagined. BUT, if Travelup, had used a bit of common sense and decency towards their customers most of us would not be leaving reviews and researching this company. Who I now feel, have done absolutely nothing to address the disgusting customer service they have provided their customers. Just do the decent thing and begin your refunds.As You are affecting your future business. To be honest this is the second time I have used Travelup, everything went well the first time, but after this debacle never ever again.
Made a booking in good faith to stay in Glasgow city centre in November. Got an email to say it was cancelled and I could have alternative accommodation in Loch Lomond. My conference is in Glasgow so had no desire to stay there. Due to the popularity at this time there are now no rooms available anywhere in Glasgow without paying 4 times the price. Very angry, I paid in full and thought I would have a room for two nights. The explanation given was hotel was relocating, lot of rubbish as I have looked into it. Think they cancelled so they could resell at higher price.
I reserved a room specifically for 2 queen beds which was more expensive than a standard queen room but that reservation was not what the hotel had or told me they got. So I ended up having to pay more than the hotels day of rate for a single queen room. Since it was booked with the ridiculous no refund policy I was told I cant get my money back. Talk about a bait and switch. I'll be submitting this experience to the better business bureau to make sure other avoid this terrible company.

I am very upset with this website I booked a run for a specific date and they gave me the wrong date when I confirmed my credit card information. Buyer please Beware I tried getting a resolution and they told me no refund at all. What a scam

This is a scam company. They advertise free cancellation but they will charge you $20 per person in administration fees that are mentioned absolutely nowhere except on page 15 of 20 in their terms and conditions. It is clearly a made up fee in order to scam money out of people who think they will be able to change their travel plans. No other travel booking sites do this. Do not use them!
This has been the worst experience with any travel website. I eventually booked 4 hotel rooms through TravelUp after calling two separate agents to confirm that cancellations due to COVID were fully refundable. After COVID restrictions came into play affecting our trip, I requested my options from TravelUp (i. E. full refund or credit vouchers etc). Instead of providing me options, they cancelled the reservations and kept over $100 in "cancellation fees", despite telling me multiple times that these won't be applied to COVID cancellations.
I have been emailing and calling for over three weeks and I receive extremely rude and unhelpful staff who give me the same generic response that "someone will call you in 2 hours with an update". After 3 weeks of emails and calls, I have never once received a single reply with an update.
Do not trust the website or the staff taking the calls. Never been spoken to so rudely.

I cancelled 1 hr after making my reservation well before midnight deadline and you are trying to steal $59.08 from me. This is a very unethical decision and I will be disputing it with Citibank and the Better Business Bureau as well as telling everybody who will listen that you are not an honest site.

My holiday was cancelled through no fault of my own turkey is on the red list so flights and hotel had to be cancelled but I still have been charged a £91 cancellation fee my friends had booked through a different travel agent and they both got a full refund so not happy at this moment in time

Do NOT use TravelUp! We booked hotel accommodation through them at a 5 star hotel and they ‘forgot' to send confirmation paperwork to the hotel. We were 4 hours away from home with a 5 year old and had to take the last remaining available accommodation at another hotel which was awful, and while they refunded the original amount, they refused to contribute to this cost. They just take your money and don't care what happens.
I called 5 mins after my booking and was told to make a change it would cost me $70+. On snap travel, the price was $80 cheaper with free cancellation up to 3 days before arriving at the hotel. I would never book with you guys again.

Had to book a hotel for two nights in Brighton. The price on TravelUp was much cheaper than any other site, 40% cheaper then the hotel's own website. Unfortunately we had to cancel and TravelUp refunded to my credit card (minus the administration fee) within a couple of days. Would definitely use them again.
I engaged TravelUp via a multi-cite venue. The price was quite enticing. Then I found out that the hotel stay needed to be paid a week before my arrival. This seemed quite fishy to me. I verified a room was reserved for me and assumed everything was being handled appropriately. In the end, everything was perfect. Their website was a bit out of kilter when I tried to pay, but ultimately all problems were resolved. Will I use them again? Yes... if the price is right.
Couldn't change a name on a reservation when I couldn't attend a conference in Las Vegas and was forced to send one of my employees in my place. Tried to charge me full rate despite it being days before booking date... it's called customer service - something very few companies appreciate or bother to quantify in a meaningful way. There's one reason a company like that pulls this nonsense - to suck every penny out of you when they can and kick you when you're down. This the absolute LAST time I will EVER book with TravelUp ever again. The lack of service is beyond pathetic.
Appalling customer service, charging admin fee for refund (50 out of 400 pounds for a refund). Company did not contact us when flights were cancelled, only responding after weeks of sending emails and phone calls. I have reported to the UK Competition Commission for unfair practices charging customers over-inflated fees for a refund.
I call them to make a hotel booking for Montego bay Jamaica. They send me a payment link I put my husband as the lead guest since it was his credit card that pays for the hotel. When they send me the voucher it stated my name instead of my husband. Been emailing them since then and they keeps on giving me the run around. My husband will be in Jamaica before me and won't be able to check in.what a mess.I will update my review when I finally get confirmation about my Husband Been the lead guest which was there mistake.

I had a connecting flight from Heathrow to Manchester. The main flight was delayed by an hour by virgin, and they advised that i am likely to miss my connecting flight, so to re-arrange that.
So i rang them on a Sunday and was advised that the rescheduling department is closed and will open tomorrow and to ring back then.
I rang on Monday and spoke to someone with a bad Indian accent and poor command of the English language (Name Given was: Francis Norris - yeah right). He told me that an hour for a connecting flight is a viable time. Then went on to say that the rescheduling department does not take calls and only uses emails. However, another passenger on the same flight had re-scheduled their flight only on Saturday.
So currently left in limber as do not know if i will make the connecting flight?

I have called twice first time voice mail was full and couldn't leave a message. Second time got through to flight department and put me through to someone that couldn't wait to get off the phone. I paid a deposit and will loose that but still no email to confirm I have cancelled this booking. Poor service even though they confirmed they had received my email request.was planing to book other accommodation but won't be doing now.

I literally booked my room at the lobby after speaking to front desk regarding rates. Saved about $500 off their standard rates for a long weekend stay at the Encore in Vegas. Room was confirmed immediately and I was able to check in 2 hours early.
