I booked through this agency for a trip to Nashville. The hotel had its own issues and ended up refunding me the night's stay. That is to say, they refunded Travel Up. It is now 2 months later and Travel Up has not and refuses to send me the money owed to me. They've pocketed the cash and continue to string me along via email. At first they told me that I needed written authorization from the hotel manager - which is insane but fine. I got that. Now they keep repeating that they need the money back from their "supplier" before they can refund me. That's not my problem. Send the customer back their money and work out the issue with your "supplier" on your own time.
I tried very carefully to make sure all the booking details were correct, but despite believing I had the correct check in and out dates, the reservation ended up wrong. And this is not the first time this has happened on one of these third party websites.

Cannot print out hotel voucher sent to me by TravelUp. Tried three different computers, both Apple and Windows and none could render the hotel voucher which must be presented upon arrival at hotel. Called hotel and was told that a voucher is required as proof of payment.

Please do not book through this company. Customer service is poor. Does not mention anything about deposit being non refundable until after your book. Also, after booking with them, I never received a confirmation from the hotel directly which seems fraudulent. Be careful booking with them. Pay the extra money and book with a reliable source.

Our deposit is non refundable as it is mentioned in our terms and conditions very clearly in our hotel section which you must agree to before booking. You would not receive direct booking confirmation from the hotel as we do not directly book with the hotel, we have a supplier in-between. Your confirmation comes from us once our supplier confirms the booking.

I am always apprehensive about third-party online 'travel agents'. I got the reservations I needed; but what would be really reassuring would be to have the actual provider (airline, hotel) send a confirmation to the actual customer (me). If I show up and find I don't have a reservation, or it's incorrect, or there are hidden fees, or any other problem, then rest assured I'll be leaving a new review, and it won't be pretty.
Really frustrating to pay. No matter what card type you click, it just loads and loads and nothing happens. Had to refresh multiple times. Then after it finally allowed me to pick my card, it ended up charging me incorrectly. Perhaps it was from all the refreshing of the page, but I remember specifically picking the deposit option before trying again and it charged me the full amount. Ended up over drafting.

Travel Up really are horrendous at providing anything close to a customer service that is agreeable or respectful of the traveller. They have hidden administration fees that are questionable as the level of administration they offer is minimal as you are required to do all the chasing. Also the contradiction in messaging about the customers rights at every point leaves me unwilling to use their service at any stage. I hope this is helpful
Booked BA flights which have been cancelled. BA are one of the only airlines to have automated refunds to travel agents and BA has confirmed in writing that my ticket has been refunded, yet Travel Up has not contacted me at all to arrange a refund (or indeed even told me about the cancelled flight).
I have tried their online form, and emailing. I have only received generic emails from the company - nothing personal to indicate they are processing the refund I am due.
It's a shame that I had to deal with a company like travel up, I have been booking flights and travelling for about 30 years, first time in my life I see a travel agent receive information from the airline company which has changed flights time for both outbound and inbound flights, but they send an email to mention about only inbound flight change, hence through the responsibility on a customer and blame them why didn't they guessed that the outbound flight has changed too!, not to mention about the customer service and how many times they cut the line claiming lines are bad!.
I booked a 2 bedroom family suite in Jamaica and when I called the resort to confirm the booking it turns out that you guys booked me one single room for 4 people. And when I called you to question it I got a whole bunch of nonsense that made no sense whatsoever. Now I'm gonna have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Horrible!

I tried to book an all inclusive hotel in Cancun. I paid the deposit and was given a confirmation number. The number didn't work. I contacted support, they said their site was under maintenance and it would work in 24-48 hours. A week later it still didn't work, they didn't have a number for the hotel and quit responding to my questions. I had to open a fraud case with American Express to get my money back for the deposit.
DO NOT USE this company. They are a total scam. Saving a few dollars at the risk of being stranded in another country isn't worth it. Use a reputable site to book your vacations.

Easy and the cheapest I found. I thought the price was in Canadian but it's actually US so my thousand dollar deposit was actually $1500. So now I'm gonna wait until the exchange rate is better to pay the balance.

I booked flights, got an email confirmation. The next day I was emailed saying they would be issuing a full refund in 3 days time. I couldn't even get hold of customer service to sort it out on the phone. This put me in a very difficult situation, as I have other parts of the journey I have booked. Very bad service.
We have called them 4 times (with over an hour wait each time, twice they put us on hold without returning to the call and on the last occasion the wait was 2 hours). In addition we have emailed them 9 times to coordinate last leg of our journey home- due to cancelled flight They do not respond. Booking through them puts a shadow over your holiday. They are TERRIBLE.
I have booked 3 Hotel Rooms in Turkey on TravelUp Site. After my booking it turned out that we are not able to stay in this Hotel. Reason is only UK/US citizens can book this hotel via this site. It was not mentioned in any stage during this booking and not written anything in Terms and Conditions. They charged full amount of money on my credit card. For 3 days i have been asking my full refund from the site but no reply!
