Arrived to our hotel only to be told that they were fully booked and the two rooms that we reserved were not available. They offered to put us up in an affiliated hotel as they were unable to offer a refund. As we had no choice, we accepted what turned out to be a much lower quality hotel in an undesirable part of the city. They also called transportation for us and our luggage and told us that it would be paid for by the hotel. Predictably, the two taxi drivers said they had no idea what we were talking about once we arrived at our new hotel and again we had no choice but to pay them in cash. Extremely disappointing and aggravating. Especially as we should have been notified if our booking was not available before going to the effort and expense of traveling to the hotel we paid for.
I was unfamiliar with Travel up, but began to notice the site when researching for a short little trip later in 2021.
There appeared to be some savings to be made with this site, overall some discounts were minimal but others, and the one I ended up using for my accommodation booking, were substantially competitive in comparison to some of the more familiar accomodation booking sites.
The page and site were seamless and a page ill consider more in the future
I was very displeased at the results of this issue. It was not my fault that you were not available for me to cancel my booking in time. When I called the Disney resort to confirm my room they did not show anything for my stay. I tried to contact you but were unable to so I had to make another reservation directly with the resort. When I did get a response it was after my stay was over. I wanted a full refund and not a partial. I don't know how you can keep people's hard earned money this way. It seems like a racket and I will definitely not recommend you to any friends or family or business associates in the future. I lost over $50 because of this.

We have had no contact from TravelUp. They turned off their phone lines, emails and all social media. We had to cancel our wedding because we couldn't change or get a flight after ours was cancelled. Thanks TravelUp!
I found a hotel on Travel Up for $80 that was over $400 on other sites. I was skeptical and after reading reviews I was downright nervous that the room would not be available when we arrived. I reserved both rooms and when I called the hotel a few days before our check in date we had 2 identical rooms. Again 1 at $80 and the other $444, identical rooms?!?!?! We cancelled the expensive room and checked in to our "discount" room that was beautiful and a great value! I see a lot of the bad reviews have to do with customer service and cancellations. We did not ever call Travel up or ask for a refund so I cannot comment on their customer service or on airline reservations, but I know I will use them again for a hotel room.

I called Travelup 5 min after I booked a reservation for an immediate cancelation before transaction went through and they charge me $406. Then the agent Danny Morrison hung up om me.
I will file a claim until i get my money back. But I will never use them again

Planned our wedding in Aruba and decided to give TravelUp a shot. Placed a deposit in April 2020 for a September 2020 trip. In mid August we received word from the hotel wedding planner (not TravelUp, who had no idea) the hotel was closing until November 2020 due to pandemic and low visitor turnout.
TravelUp refuses to move our reservation to the sister hotel next door with an equivalent room unless we paid the $1100 difference. They also refused to refund a deposit for a service they could no longer deliver and were in breach of contract.
Disputes the charge with Visa, letting them sort it out. Horrible customer service from TravelUp. More like ScamUp.
This kind of company should not exist. Spent the price of a new round way ticket to change the dates it is totally a scam and there are hidden rules. If you miss one sector of your flight,the rest will be cancelled no matter what you do. Called 20 time, more than 3 hours and 20 emails, they are still not able to send me a propre link so that I can pay to change the date. It brings mayor stress and frustration to my vacation. And All I want is just to modify the flying dates.The attitude of the personnel on call with me is OK and she tries to help, however the company is afterall not able to provide a basic service as a flight date change. Avoid travelup if you can!

This is the worst booking experience I have ever had. Got to the hotel and was told I wasn't on their list. The manager informed me they didn't have any contractual agreement with Travelup and that they never heard the name before. Sucks.

Worst experience. Do not use this site. I accidentally booked the wrong date but called not even 2 min afterward. The rep said he changed the reservation to the correct day. When we got on the plane, we emailed several times to confirm this change but we got no response. As soon as we landed we called and the same rep hung up on me when I asked to confirm the dates were changed. After a long flight we got to the hotel very late with no reservation. Thankfully, another travel site helped us make a last min reservation. Do not use this site to make any travel arrangements. Not only were they ineffective, they were rude and not willing to help. We ended up having to pay double for our stay.

I booked a flight on Tuesday, paid immediately and got my booking confirmation. 24 hrs later I got an email to say they couldn't honour the flight and I would get a refund - up to 3 days later. Obviously missed getting the flight at the low price from a reputable company as sold out by the time I was told they were advertising something they couldn't actually sell! Customer service was terrible... save yourself time, money and effort and book with a decent company that does the right thing by their customers.
I am very upset that my date changed and I didn't know it! I was supposed to be in Daytona this weekend now I don't have a room! Not happy. My cell is *******4172 if anyone can fix this problem this site is a joke! No one can answer a call!

It was easy to use a good deal. However, I discovered after purchasing 6 nights at a hotel that the hotel has a daily resort fee and a daily parking fee with a total of over $80 additional dollars per day. That information was not given on the travel up website.

The process of booking was somewhat easy. But the problem is after receiving the booking confirmation email, on which there's a link to "My Bookings" and when I click there, I cannot find my booking. Not even re-filling all fields on the form.

Had to chase them for months after my flight was cancelled due to covid. When I finally spoke to them they refused refund, only issued voucher. Now, I'm trying to book something using this voucher and their website doesn't even work.
Wasn't aware there was a festival surrounding the hotel the weekend we booked and so had to cancel. Spoke with the hotel manager as I was leaving who said she was currently on the phone with the third party and I would get a refund for 2 of the three nights we had booked. The refund offered by travel up did not reflect that and was 1/2 of what we paid rather than 2/3. Not a good experience at all.

I booked a hotel with travelup back in january. As the date for the booking approached i tried contacting the hotel for details. The hotel had closed permanently. I contacted travelup, who acknowledged this, and then spent weeks trying to get me to send them more money because of an "error with their systems" so they could refund me. Their phone operators barely speak any english, and have called me multiple times trying to get me to send them more money. I reported them to my bank so i can get the money back, because they are not refunding me.
