Impossible to contact customer service. You will be kept on hold for 30 minutes each time on a premium telephone number. The person you want to contact is never available and assure you that you will be contacted back... never really happens. E mails are never acknowledged or answered.
I have no hope that the refund I am trying to get back will ever happen.

I have anxiety and this booking was a little testy for me. When I book something on Kayak or other travel websites, I usually get my etickets emailed immediately. I have received this email to call my card company and confirm the code that you received was a first time experience. Also, as I live in US and the emails seem to be coming out of UK, I could not immediately contact anybody. I would have preferred an acknowledgement that my emails were received and a faster working schedule
I mistakenly entered the wrong date for my reservation by one day. The hotel suggested that I call travel up and that it could likely be cleared up easily. Sadly I tried to call several times however my call would never go through. I will not be using this site in the future.
I booked with TravelUp and saved almost $85 PER DAY! I have never used travel sites before, but I found this to be super easy! Barely an inconvenience! I will look at TravelUp for all future vacations now.

The experiences was fine. It's pretty expensive for not being cancellable and the rates were higher than other places, but it was cheaper than getting two rooms and it was the only place online to book this hotel with 3 people and 2 beds. Everywhere else wouldn't do it. So that's a big advantage.
Site said the booking included a "meal plan" and only after booking did it say room only. Customer service was poor only reiterating that it was listed as such and absolutely non-refundable. I will never book with them again.

A month away from the reservation date I try to cancel reservation and they did but no refund at all. They are keeping $$$2050. Dollars just from me one client. How much do they keep after all from people?

If you had checked the booking information before you booked it, you will see you had booked a non refundable room rate which is set by our suppliers.
We can see that our team still tried to see if the booking could be refunded by our supplier but we had no luck.

The worst travel agent I have ever dealt with, may as well be a SCAM company. Travel ups incompetent staff could not do a simple name change, we were told that the name change had been completed only to find out the day before we were going on our honeymoon trip it hadn't been done and due to how late they left it it tell us this information we lost out on over £3400. To add insult to injury they said we would receive a refund back in January, and we still have not received it. They have ignored emails from me, and have also ignored a written and email letter of complaint. I would advise anyone to avoid this company like the plague as they are a truly incompetent and dishonest. If they are real company they may as well be a scam. What reputable company ignores a complaint and doesn't issue a refund when it says it will. Please avoid this company and just book things direct with the airline or hotel yourself and save yourself the hassle, pain and stress.

Since the deals you check or find on our website are all the best promotional deals, readily available to be booked and exceptionally found elsewhere. Therefore, such deals often have certain limitations and restrictions towards cancellation and amendment as the bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

The price before taxes was more than advertised and I am now required to print a voucher. I don't have a printer. I should just be able to show the voucher on my smartphone. This is an unnecessary pain in the neck.

Not only I was not able to get refund though policy says I can, the process to request refund is even worse! Cannot do this by phone and need to go through this long back and forth email! The site doesn't make the the cancellation fee upfront … it is deceiving to the customer because they dont make it known that there is not a 24-72 hr free cancellation period and they take a significant amount out of your deposit. I would never use this site again, i work hard to vacation and they have lost my trust.

Not an honest company. During the booking of a hotel, I was never mentioned that local taxes and resort fees are to be paid directly at the hotel. They only mentioned that after the booking / payment was confirmed. That means that throughout the whole booking process I never had the chance to truly see the final cost of the booking. They showed "hotel rate + taxes = total"... but there were still hidden costs. As it is a non-refundable booking, I would lose all my money if I canceled. A misleading process. First and last time I'm using this website.

An utterly diabolical company. In an age pre-covid, 'Travel agents' like this raked in the cash as the middle man between the airline and the consumer but as soon as times get tough it is showing them for the scammers they really are and they actually had to show any sort of customer service skills, falling short doesn't begin to cover it. I have never been spoken to in such a rude way as I have when I call TravelUp, they consistently tell me I have the wrong information even though it is the information they have given me. Having booked none the wiser back in 2019 with the flight due to leave in March 2020 - I have still awaiting the full refund I am entitled too with no resolution in sight.

A multi flight booking was purchased with Travelup March 23, during May 23 Travelup confirmed the cancelled sector Las Vegas to New York flight we were informed the alternative options either full cancellation with full refund (less £50 there admin charge, not our fault but there terms!) or as there was no further option by the airline to carry on and pay to book a flight with another airline for the loss sector and recover the cost refund on completion of our holiday (Nov 23) we chose to book direct with United Airlines at extra cost.
We contacted Travelup upon return to start the refund process end of Nov 23 now after 11 weeks with continued excuses of "sending an alert to the relevant dept" and " to receive your funds within 3-5 days" still no refund after there policy was 4-6 weeks.
After emails now with 4no customer services dept persons we have no resolution, at present no refund the process has been shambolic please avoid this company despite how cheap they are.

Fraudsters and Cheats
We booked our hotel accommodation for our family of five (2 adults and 3 children) 5 weeks before we were due to travel. They also sent us the confirmation voucher from them for our reservation.
1 week before we were due to travel, they send us an email stating we do not have the confirmation due to their supplier issues and were providing alternative accommodation that was not even close to what we had originally paid for.
They completely refused to own up to their error and were not willing to pay the difference for alternative accommodation which by then had gone up in price.
Stay clear of them as they are complete fraudsters and cheats.
Booked 2 flights with BA to Italy via Travel Up. BA cancelled flights. Tried to get money back but Travel Up make is almost impossible by not answering calls or emails. After a month I was told I'd get some money back but Travel Up would keep £165 as admin fee.
This company is borderline illegal and 100% horrific and evil!

I booked two return flights from Heathrow to Montreal Canada through this company. The payment was accepted and I had a confirmation email with my booking references. In the meantime, I received an email from *******@travelup.com asking me to change my return flight to the following date. I replied I could do that but the same person emailed to say my flight was cancelled. I contacted reservations today. I got no help at all. After 20 minutes wait, the person told me there was no record of my air canada flight and to contact travel up customer services. I tried this. The phone rang a number of time and then rung off. I repeated this numerous times. I since contacted air canada who confirmed my ticket was on record but my son's had been cancelled, but they didn't know why. I then had to re book direct with air canada for my son. I now need to find out why travelup cancelled my son's flight and when I am going to get a refund.
