Our trip got cancelled due to the Covid 19 outbreak. We had booked a hotel through Travelup and when we inquired, they refused to refund our fee (paid in full upfront). We contacted the hotel directly and they indicated that they did not charge anyone for cancelling their reservations due to the outbreak, but that we would have to go through Travelup for a refund. Eventually, they refunded half of our payment and kept the other half even though they were not charged by the hotel. We will never use them again!
I was ill on travelling to Bangladesh. Contacted them several times to change date of return as I was not well to travel. They completely ignored my emails and contacted the day before the flight asking double the amount to pay ti change the date. Would not recommend booking with them and personally I will never book with them. Very unprofessional and inefficient.
Didn't realize hotel was not pet friendly until AFTER I hit the submit button and paid in full. Not happy about being unable to cancel my reservation and losing my payment. It's hard enough dealing with the loss of a family member, finding a hotel shouldn't be such an issue. Did not contact customer service because they state — forfeiture of payment if canceled— right up front.

I'm very disappointed this website offer FREE cancelation on the 24 hour period! And is not true. Be careful! I make a reservation yesterday and because the hurricane passing near my place in Tampa we desire to cancel the reservation. 2 hours after was made it! And now they're not want to gime my money back. I had not received a confirmation when I placed my hotel! For 2 days, I called and after 30 minutes, the call was disconnected. The third day, I phoned several times throughout the day, but was busy each time I called. Eventually, I did get through to confirm my reservations.
Following my first review, I was sent an email stating a confirmation had originally been sent and I should check my spam. I did check my spam. I had not received a confirmation. After speaking with travel-up they forwarded an email confirmation.
When you spend a considerable amount of money on hotel reservations, one would like to make sure the purchase is not a scam. For 3 days, I was beginning to think it was.
I did call the hotel and confirmed my reservations. So far so good!

I booked for a three day stay, unfortunately two hours later had to cancel, I was charged $148.00 for a cancelation fee the terms and agreement of cancellations doesn't appear until after you confirm reservation. We tried to explain but couldn't get a refund. My advice don't book with this site unless you are absolutely, unequivocally, will not need to cancel for any reason!

It took multiple tries to make my booking. When I was finally successful, I looked back and saw that it was the wrong booking (I will never know whether it was my fault or their fault). I corrected the mistake and they charged me $491 for a same day change - just a few hours later. Reprehensible!
I will never use this company again.

Flight has been cancelled and they never managed to rebook us despite trying to do that for several weeks. They just pass you on to talk to some people by email with english names such as Eddie Cooper or James Smith, which respond in a computer like manner without helping you solve any issue no matter how small they are, such as rebooking a flight. This is a real pity that we are sorrounded by those dishonest companies. My flight is not even present on the app, and despite hours (see picture) over the phone, nothing has been solved. They ruined our holidays. (As you can see from the photo, being on a call at 1:00 am for two hours is not exactly the best holiday).

This is a useless company that Sunday times has been paid to endorse. I would never use them again.
Their IT systems are rubbish. Waiting in a queue which reports time as 10secs when I have waited for an hour.
I have been on the phone to them 15 times and also emailed them. Polite replies. But they do nothing! Yes we will deal with please call us.
Shame on Skyscanner as they cant respond or deal with this company's service feedback. Go direct to the airline and be able to rebook pay the extra £15 admin fee you have to pay to the airline.
Shame on BA to making them a preferred supplier. There are no merit or tracking of service to customer who went through this agent.
Was due to fly to San Francisco tomorrow with British Airways after booking via Travelup. Flights are obviously cancelled but I have heard nothing proactively from Travelup or reactively to the numerous emails I have sent (most bounce back as their box is full). No telephones work at all.
Atol does not cover the booking and British Airways do not want to know.
I have been left to raise a case with my credit card company to try and recover the money.
The most outrageous thing is that Travelup are sending out promotional emails asking you to book for 2021 now when they can't even sort out 2020.
Do not book with this company, I certainly will never do it again.

Booked 2 return tickets with Qantas LHR-SIN last year for this month, but less than clear over refund policy. Qantas has exercised discretion for cancellation and has clearly authorised a full refund to their credit, but this outfit (TravelUp) just keeps prevaricating through emails which are clearly not telling the truth and are downright deceptive. Say they are currently too busy to answer queries and pretended not to to be able to find the booking, clearly they want to hold to money that Qantas has authorised them to return. Avoid at all costs unless you want to bang your head against a brick wall
Travel up booked me a hotel and never received a confirmation email or number when I called the hotel the booking never existed and they still charged me $400 and has not returned any of my emails to support. It's a scam

I booked a flight in June for my daughter to go to Bali. With Covid 19 about, she was unable to travel. Tried calling them but you're unable to leave a message, so have emailed them several times but got no response. I've now filled out their Covid19 form for a refund request and surprise surprise, no confirmation email to say they've received the form. I would definitely avoid them, just based on their lack of customer service. It's not nice being left in the dark not knowing where you stand.
Paid for a bogus booking with this agency 6 weeks in advance and surprise surprise upon arrival, the hotel had no record of any booking the informed me they were not taking reservations the time i booked with TravelUp as they were over sold. Cost the family many hours of aggravation, found a room on our own at 1am and took another day to rebook the remainder of the trip several hundred dollars more... stay away from this sham outfit.
Scam! Stay away. I made a reservation for a hotel in Cancun. They send me a confirmation number and say all was set. Travel up Charge me $935 for the hotel. When I travel to Cancun, the hotel say they don't have a reservation. When I call Travelup they told me to give them half hour to proceed with the reservation, after more than 3 hours and calling them again and again, they didn't get my calls anymore and they never made my reservation. So we where there in Cancun, in spring break, without a place to stay and they never responded. We finished reserving a low class hotel because we don't have the money at the moment to afford paying double. After a week they send us a refund. This is the worst company ever and hope everyone stay away from them.

Sad to say I would never use them again. I had to change the date within 72 hours because of a work meeting. When I tried to rebook our hotel, the price was now $900+ more for the same 7 days. I checked directly with the hotel and their rate was $560 less than Travel Up. I told Jacob to match it or cancel it. After a few more blah blah emails from Jacob, I finally got canceled. A rip off and not at all a nice experience.

I booked a one night stay in a hotel as a gift for my newlywed daughter and her husband. I have no complaints, everything was fine, and my son in law merely had to show his ID upon arrival. Well done!
