Very poor service. My flight was cancelled by Qatar Airways and Travelup want to charge me extra to get home so now 9 days after my cancelled flight I am stuck in South Africa unable to get back to the UK with no money and nowhere to stay just me and my case on the street. Thanks Travel****up!
If you have a function for changing peoples flights for a charge and your team asks for details but then doesn't take action for over 30 hours, how is that ever going to be workable for people who have tight timeframes to work around. I would've understood if they hadn't seen my case but they have and they asked me what flight I wanted it changed into and now three emails in and 30 hours later I've no confirmation of when I'll travel. Very frustrating
Customer service was good. However I think the relationship with the vendors isn't great. I want able to make a change and ended up just losing out on that money. I think it was also partly due to their booking software. It moved my date and I ended up booking the wrong day.

It does seem the problem was not being able to liaise with our supplier; unfortunately as stated in terms and conditions we cannot change dates or cancel free of charge due to charges with our supplier. We do try for our customers but not always successful.

Booking never got confirmed and got an email saying it was pending and they would contact the hotel to determine the status within 24hours. That didn't happen and I emailed and used the query on the web site, but no one has replied…

I booked a prepaid hotel in Miami, Florida for $300 USD. Then the Coronavirus hit and now President Trump suspended all flights from Czech Republic to the US, so I cannot enter the country. I emailed and called Travelup and they said, "your room rate was non-refundable and non-changeable. So, I; m out $300 USD for something I had no control over. Technically they are right. But what about some understanding and/or empathy for the worst crisis to hit the planet in decades. Instead Travelup will make a ton of money of people having to cancel their trips. What's worse is that the Hotel was willing to refund my money, but Travelup won't cooperate. I cannot believe that Trip Advisory is allowing them to list on their website!
Travelup I have emailed you several times requesting my refund for my hotel bookings which I paid for in FULL. You have my money in your account. Why are u not refunding my money I booked flexible hotel booking with free cancellation it's nearly £3000. It's over 30 days since you promised to refund my account. We too are struggling in this crisis don't hide behind Covid-19 as an excuse. Note you will not get away treating your customers this way. I will write bad reviews on every website I can find until I receive my money back from you. Be honest to your customers if you not going to refund let us know so we can take action accordingly instead of lying to us. Please respond to me as I really have had enough of being messed around.

I bought an airline ticket and upon receiving the confirmation i noticed a wrong date,i sent two requests via the website and an email to cancel the ticket.
I also phoned the company,it took over an hour to get an answer and was asked to send an email.
Travelup did not cancel the ticket on time and simply refund me 300 GBP from over 900 GBP when the airline allow free cancellation within 24 hours.
These guys are well-trained professional crooks,do not send them anything over their website as per their T&C only email considers notice ( even after a proper notice was sent they still did not cancel the ticket).

Owing to the current volume of flight cancellations by the airlines, we are witnessing an unusual increase in the number of calls, hence the customers have to wait for long waiting times in the queue. However, we completely disagree with your statement as the booking is made on the website with no manual intervention of our team involved in it, therefore the discretion of the booking lies under your responsibility to cross check the details thoroughly before confirming the ticket.
In addition to this, any cancellation which you initiate is called a voluntary cancellation by the airline and they then apply the charge and penalty for the cancellation accordingly.

Great deal! But booking was annoying it allowed me to select same day but when went to process it kept kicking me back without saying why then upon arrival I didn't get the room I was supposed to get "because I paid less than a in house booking" which is ridiculous the hotel shouldn't bump me because I got a good deal!

I got a "great" rate at a hotel and only found out when I left that I was charged an extra 40$ a night. It was a hotel fee that was NOT mentioned on TravelUp when I booked. I triple checked. Not happy at all with these hidden fees that they hide to keep their price lower than other honest websites.

The airline Royal Air Maroc cancelled my flight due to covid 19. I booked through Travel Up. They are keeping £60 as an admin fee and quoting 8 weeks to process a refund. What admin costs do they have processing a refund? £5 max but they are choosing to rob customers. Avoid these scam artists
After my booking, I learned the reservation is valid for English citizens only...
So I had to cancel my reservations, but I am glad the customer service assisted me very quikly with refund of my paid amount.

Service was not good at all. I traveled all the way to the Dominican Republic from South Africa only to find our t that my ticket had been cancelled. NI had paid and still waiting for my refund. Fortunately, there was still space and I had to buy another ticket directly from the airline.

I asked several times what are these added on fees that ended up being close to an extra $200 dollars to change DATES months in advance. NOT one rep ever replied. Only was ever replied "please confirm new dates and price" this website is garbage in their customer service and call center. This is the first and only time I will EVER do business with this website.

Booked cheap flights through this company to Thailand Saudi and Dubai. Due to coronavirus travel bans in place. Emailed, called this company and also tweeted. Highlighted travel dates. No response. Would have been stranded in thailand if it wasnt for Emirates helping. These guys also cancelled my flight to saudi without any contact or offers of other reporting options. Absolute joke of a company. Do not book through this company. You will regret it. Made my holiday very stressful
After having a very smooth booking process, I find that my window to change reservations and add a day, that I had already passed the time I could make a change... Like the day before I actually made the first reservation! How do you change something before you've even booked?

When the Coronavirus hit and lockdown implemented I emailed to say I would need a full refund as I obviously could not cancel. I received an email back saying the booking has been cancelled less the 50% cancellation fee. I had to argue non-stop via email because the phone lines have never worked and they now say I am only entitled to 70% of my money back not all of it. They provided me with a vague and made up explanation that their supplier was not giving them a full refund. When I asked who the supplier is they ignored me and would not give me any proof of this. Please avoid this company!
I was able to book the accommodations I needed easily and at a reasonable price. I am a little nervous about paying the entire amount for the hotel prior to our stay as I have never done this and then presented a voucher.
Absolutely HORRIBLE! We put our infant on the reservation and the payment didn't go through so we refreshed the page to input another card and when it refreshed there was no infant on the reservation. We asked you to add him on and you tried to up charge us $500 even though we showed proof that there was no extra charge. We even called Hilton and they told us there was no additional charge for our infant. Now I see why people get frustrated with you guys. I'm glad Hilton took care of the problem.

I called a week ahead to the hotel of reservation, and they showed no reservations confirmed for me. I tried contacting the site, but had zero success. So I showed up to the hotel with hopes I would have a reservation, and luckily I did. So again, value was amazing but there is no customer service.

We apologise if you were unable to get in contact with us, our phone lines are open 24/7 in hotels and our email response is usually less than 24 hours. The reservation will go through our suppliers before reaching the hotel which is why when you called they had no record as it was saved on the suppliers central system, however it will go through.

Took 15 thousand pounds of our money. Claimed to not have it. Arguing between them and the banks. Customer service very rude. Accusing me of making a mistake while they took all the money and have yet to give it back. Stuck with no money and no tickets. Very rude service wont even help with a solution.
