We had to cancel due to illness.
Fortunately we were given full credit for our trip ( or 75% refund). We opted for full credit.
However when we selected new dates for same number of nights, the price jumped up significantly. When we tried to accept new price, the price would continue to go up every couple days.
Travel up had to go to hotel to confirm dates and prices.
In the end our hotel price was 50% more than our credit for same number of nights. It would have been cheaper and easier to go straight to hotel for reservations. I would not use this company again.
Would not even give them one star if that were possible. I've had trouble with this company since I first booked a hotel. Booked a hotel in February for April 19. Booking number HTT-U7DQVV. The money was not supposed to be taken from my credit card until I was at the hotel, but it was. The full amount $794.05 was taken out. Obviously the event was cancelled and I requested a refund in early March. Received a email from Travelup saying my cancellation was confirmed. I STILL have not received my refund. I believe this is very close to fraud.
In the final price there was a surcharge over the advertised price for about $23 per night per room. I accepted it thinking that was the tax. After the payment, I was sent a voucher which says the tax is to be paid extra. When I called, they told me that the price changed in the ten minutes between the time I checked it and the time I booked. That is just bad business practice and unfair treatment.

I really struggled to find a hotel close to my daughter. I really wished that it i could find a site that allowed you to search hotels with in a certain distance. I haven't found that yet. I don't want to pay a fee ever again because I know for a fact that vendors pay agencies for booking (i was an agent)
Finding the hotel information was hard I had to go to their site to find out about amenities and address
Sara was the sales consultant that helped me. I needed a name change and Sara went out of her way to assist me. Sara sent an email to the hotel to make sure that the name change was done properly. Thank you for your help Sara!

Had I known this was not a Canadian site I would not have used it. I did not see anywhere on the site that it was in US dollars. It ended up costing me more money that if I had booked directly with the hotel.

This was the worst. No hotel service has ever taken my money and charged me until I arrive. They just hold the card number until arrival. The people were so mean and talked so mean. I will never use them and I am going to report them to kayak and tell all my friends to never use them.

Terrible experience. I showed up at hotel with my wife and kids exhausted. The hotel said they had my reservation but the "virtual card" was not working for payment. I was told I needed to call TravelUp. The customer service person was terrible and dis not treat me friendly. They gave me no information and ended up hanging up on me after saying it will take 15 minutes to fix. I called again after 15 minutes and no fix. A second person was nicer but said it will take 15 minutes to fix. At this point I felt scammed. My family was driving me crazy and they were upset. We went to dinner and came back 2 hours later. Apparently it was resolved. The front deak told me they took care of it. I am relieved but am totally upset and annoyed. It was not good experience and poor customer service on all ends. Will not use ever again. Unless they want to give me an apology.

Still stand by our review disgraceful behavior from Travel Up during the Covid crisis and only a rep to answer our comment! The answer is surely through the customer's pocket. No formal response from Travel Up about this and we will only be satisfied if a full refund is forthcoming as other travel firms have honorably done so. Read the positive reviews and will only say wonder what would your reactions be if you had had cancellations no e mail correspondence and no full and right refunds!

Socking company waiting months to be refunded they just delay every one robbing your money dont care. Poor customer service put you in a queue (drain your landline) when you get 1st in the queue they hang up. If they were a decent company and refunded there customers illegal not too! There going to loose so much custom for the way they handle things don't book
Really great options for rooms for the hotel we wanted. The price was cheaper than many of the other major sites. The confirmation was received immediately which was really great. Overall a fantastic job by TravelUp.

I have no issues with the service provided. The experience was easy and stress free. I would use the service again because the rates were great by comparison to other sites and the options were adequate.
I'm not happy with the fact that Marriott doesn't see the reservation in the system and travelup does not provide me with the Marriott reservation number. Marriott even says I should be concerned this may be a scam, as reservation numbers are instantly generated.

If you have received an accommodation voucher from us then your booking has been confirmed, some hotel chains hold booking information in a central system and then pass the guest names to the individual hotel a few days before arrival. Easy to book with Travel up and no problems using the voucher at the hotel. The only drawback is if you have an issue with the hotel, they will not offer any refund as they have not had your cash, only the voucher.
Your website booked me into STRAT instead of Circus Circus and will not allow me to log into my booking to look at it or modify it. And the phone numbers do not work. So not feeling very good about my experience right now.

It didn't work the first time and this time is more expensive. I am extremely unhappy to find that booking a hotel in Canada as a Canadian citizen was billed in US dollars. There was no indication that I was being billed in US dollars. I feel I was ripped off.

Easy to make a reservation! The submission of voucher made me a bit insecure, and it took me a few minutes to figure it out before I understood I didn't needed to fill out a code. Hope the travelexperience will be a good experience as well, so I can give another happy feedback :)

The credit voucher cannot guarantee the same prices as before unfortunately. Hotels and flight prices will nearly always rise as the days pass which would be why your hotel price had risen. We can see our staff had made sure these prices were correct and it was indeed the case with the hotel.
