The booking was easy and the price was great. No issues booking
Booked flights to Australia, my partner and I got Covid so we had to postpone our trip by a couple of weeks. It cost us over £700 for the change and we lost the upgraded seats we had already paid for, despite the new flights being advertised at the exact same price as the ones we originally booked. Spent over 4 hours in total trying to fix this with their so called 'customer support' team who never apologised nor showed any empathy. All the agents we spoke to were pretty rude and couldn't care less. I emailed the CEO who never got back so I will now file complaints with consumer associations and the Global Travel Group (IATA / ATOL). I can't believe this type of company is allowed to operate in the UK, tourism industry at its worst.
Not much info on confirmation. No room type or description. I am wary.

Avoid this company like the plague,
I bought tickets to on SkyScanner for two people at the value of £2400, the booking was under 'British Airways and Qantas' but without any update or warning they pushed us onto an American flight chain and were met with restrictions with Visa's not being possible,
I called these people and along with speaking with 3 terribly rude representatives, I was told that they would happily cancel the flight that they falsely advertised me, but it would come at a £75 'Administration fee' per ticket which I am happy with.
However, on top of this with absolutely no justification what so ever they told me that I was liable for a deduction of around £1800 in my deposit leading me to have a total refund of £389 out of £2400.
I then proceeded to get in touch with them and was unable to get any assistance, so I took matter into my own hands to call American Airlines to see if they could make the most out of the situation and put me on a neighbouring flight. Upon discussing this with them they told me that their cancellation fee for their flight would be $200 per ticket (£164.50), so in other words this company under their scam attempt of upselling a falsely advertised ticket has practically robbed me.
I have been building my case to present for a credit card claim in which will have magical results following voice recordings and other written evidence. Thank you for ruining a once celebrated family holiday and leaving a bad taste in my month.

Travelup is absolutely the WORST agency I have ever dealt with. ZERO customer care! I have £460 credit from a cancelled flight, and they are NOT allowing me to use it in spite of many emails I sent them, they have NO SYSTEM to use such credit which is a TOTAL SCAM from travel UP. Would never ever recommend using them, unless you wish to lose your hard-earned cash!

I got to the resort arround 7pm they couldn't find my reservation and didn't want to give me a room until I gave them $200 cash depisit. Then they gave me the room and sometime arround 11pm they called to say my deposit was available to be picked up. The reservation came through. If I didn't have cash on me I wouldn't have gotten the room and would have waited till 11pm. Now the place is not as advertised. It's in horrible condition. Rooms were dirty and the whole place looked beaten up by time. It is nothing like the pictures and It's not a 10-20% difference in pictures but more like a 60% difference for the worse.
I had to sleep there because it was already too late and the next day which is July4th we checked out. We left in the morning to look at places and found one so we came back arround 3:30pm to get our stuff back and left.
I really hope that you guys can do something about the remaining two days that we paid for and havent used. At least a credit that we can use somewhere else. Order ID TH*******.

It was my first time using Travel Up. I booked my flight on BA to Costa Rica and got the confirmation which said "hand luggage only."
Immediately I called customer service and they said I need to call back after 9am tomorrow. I went to the BA website and it had no record of my reservation. I decided to cancel my reservation immediately. I called back and could not get through. I called the next morning (maybe 12 hours later) and had to wait over an hour to get through.
Once I got through the agent said there's a fee to cancel (75 British pounds). I had to respond to an email saying I was ok with a refund minus the fee. I made a note in my journal: DO NOT EVER USE TRAVEL UP.

I booked my British airways flights via Travelup and found out with the Covid 19 British Airways was cancelling all trips to New York.
I went onto my mange my booking on the British Aiways web site and there was my flights showing they were cancelled, so I wrote several emails to Travelup but no response!
I then telephoned them no answer one ring and then cut off!
Then I checked my Manage My Booking on the BA website and guess what the flights now no longer exist.
Travelup have obviously had the refund back from British Airways and given they are not replying to emails or answering phone calls I can only wonder where the money I paid for flights is now.
Having read the other complaint web sites there are many many people getting very angry with Travelup
I was very disappointed. I logged onto Kayak, and saw that Travel Up had the best fare to Dublin. The Aer Lingus site said that it was a "Smart" fare, so that meant I could select a seat for free. But when I chose Travel Up, I got directed to the United site, and that turned out to be a "Basic Economy" fare, which means I couldn't choose a seat. I called Travel Up and talked with a person who was very hard to understand. He wouldn't let me change the order, so I had to call United directly and pay extra to choose a seat. I should never have gone through the Travel Up link, because it is misleading. I should have chosen United directly, and got what I needed for an honest price. I won't use Travel Up again.
We booked with this company for a 3 night resort break in a location in spain. When confirming details with location was told it had closed and all purchasing companies had been told 2months previously.on returning to travel up with e mail and phone calls was told that they" hadnt heard". Thry told me they wrre liaising with other company and waiting for response but that as the break was soon there would be no refund and that as the resort had reallocated us elsewhere we were obliged to accept it. When getting back to the resort i was told we would have been given a full refund if the companys or sub company had contacted them. Which they hadnt by e mail or call as other companys had. What would we have done on arriving at our chosen destination to find it closed with no information on reallocation had i not done the contacting? I still await information re this from travel up. Despite contacting them 6days from arrival date.
This is my first time going through. Travel up. It sure will not be my last time! Last minute reservation. But I will have a nice place to stay. Also at very good price. Thank You!

Appalling service. Basically once you've paid for your ticket you're on your own. They won't do anything to help you if your flight is cancelled or delayed. Staff is SO RUDE on the phone. Stay away.
I booked with them - had a difficulty with payment but it went through. All they are interested in is your money. You take a major risk with this company. Never ever again. Customer is not existent.
I will never use them again, and I will tell everyone I know to never use them. They said they had a room for me in a booked hotel. They never gave me a confirmation number from the hotel and told me to just fly down and if there is a problem to call them. Called the hotel three different times and they stated they are totally filled with Line Workers (New Orleans) and confirmed they DID NOT have any open rooms, especially a room with my name on it. I was not going to just fly down to a town where all the hotels in the town are filled already, WHITHOUT a confirmation number from the hotel. So, even though they could show me a confirmation number, they still kept half the money. Just BS.
Hotel I booked through travel up offered refund if travel up contacted them - travel up making excuses around third parties - somewhere someone is pocketing the money as the hotel isn't open - what a bunch of fraudsters and the CEO thinks some sob story email will help - no it won't I booked via you I don't care who you then bought the room off through some dodgy deal I just know you have my money
The lack of customer service did not let me cancel the booking right away. It was a mistake (I travel solo, and the reservation was for 3 BR?!). However, the email response I received from Australia a day later (different time zone). It was polite but did not change the fact that I clicked the button accidentally and realized immediately that I am stuck on a remote Atlantic Island with that has no available hotels on my travel days, and my booking company does not have any phone Customer Service (CS). This was a disaster. Clicking NYC phone number /CS prompts while trying to cancel my erroneous reservation returned "unavailable" message. I clicked a variety of prompts in my attempt to get someone. It took a few hours until I stopped calling that number and found an email that politely answered the next day. I am trying to cancel - the credit company was notified a few seconds after I clicked 'payment' and after I received no customer service to reverse a mistaken reservation. People make mistakes and CS must be there to help - that is what I understand as a good company. I am traveling for work and pleasure all year round, and I expect CS to help in an unusual situation. I do not remember a travel middleman company that wants me to use them in the future that refuses to look into the situation and factor in my first attempt at using their service, while knowing fully well that their phone service does not exist. I do not feel comfortable being on a remote island w/o any hotel availability and the booking enterprise (TravelUp) providing no emergency phone communication. Very sad!
