Got a great price, basically everything they told me that would happen and how it happened was right on. I would have given them a five but when you call it seems they struggle to find the answer, they are very nice but I don't know how to explain it, in any case other than that and the car pick up being one week instead of 2-3 days like I thought they said everything else went great! Do exactly what they tell you to do as quickly as you can and it will be a smooth process.
Bought a car Nov 2. It is now January 25. No license plate. Both temp tags have expired. I cannot drive my $750 a month car without fear of being pulled over and arrested for no legal registration. Customer service has 45 minute hold times, then they transfer and hang up on you. I call daily and nobody can help. A nightmare. Stay away.
Okay - their right to you home shipping costs about what you'd pay if you Googled "auto transport." So you can buy from any reputable dealer and have it shipped to you. But before you can even get to that cost you have to register with Vroom on the website. From there, they start calling you - sort of like a regular sleazy car dealer and harassing you by phone. My advise - use a fake phone number, and a junk email address to register, then look around a the cars you like - and buy elsewhere. Nothing but a nice web design and some fancy TV advertising here.
This "hassle free buying experience" is anything but. After I found a car that interested me, and after I was approved (thanks for the credit pull on my report now) I was told that I could use a credit card to make the down payment on my vehicle. Just like any other dealership. No problem. I was told that the $500 hold on the car would be applied towards my down payment with the same card. After they had received my documents they told me that a credit card was not a payment option, and I would need to either wire them the money or send them a money order. When I asked why, I was transferred to Griselda from the "Financial Team" who offered me no other explanation than "that's just the way it is." I am a person who likes to understand the process I'm going through, and I don't feel like asking "why?" should be met with such a defensive attitude. Talk about a SCAM! Stay away from these complete morons.
I been waiting for my car registration over 5 months have not got my plate nor my new registration. My tamp tag renewal has expire they allow only 3 times. Now I don't know what do next no use calling Vroom registration and title Clark they no help all about creating new cases. Please I need some suggestion what to do next. Never again buy online car dealership.
Horrible communication! No one can help you! After waiting for an hour the phone just goes to post call survey and hangs up. They lost my VIN verification, but won't admit it! I even provided the tracking and signature and they just make a note in the system (that goes no where). Cannot get direct phone number or extension for anyone once the purchase if made. They will give you an email to a person once you complain enough, but the email will go unanswered.
I went to vroom to sell my 2019 Lexus and was initially a little skeptical. Long story short the process went seamlessly, I saw some of these reviews and was a bit apprehensive but glad I followed through. Keep in mind the number of cars vroom is moving in comparison to the number of negative reviews, it's a fraction. They did right by me, 5 stars all the way.
Absolute worst experience I have ever had with any company. Don't have the car I'm paying for, and continue to receive no estimate on when it may be shipped, but I still have to make payments. This has been going on for far too long. I regret going through Vroom. Total scam that I am paying lots of money for.
Worst experience I have ever had with any business. Stay far, FAR away! They picked up my trade-in with no prior notification, just showed up at my house, leaving me no car. Then missed the date/time delivery appointments that they set FIVE times. It's been four weeks and they have yet to issue a check to pay off my trade-in. I've called multiple times and have spent hours upon hours on hold. No one can give an answer and just passes you on. I just spent over 2 hours and 40 minutes on hold, and briefly talked to three separate representatives, who could do nothing but escalate a ticket. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told customer service was going to be closing soon, so I would have to be called back tomorrow. I still have no answers and have made multiple calls over the last 12 days about this exact situation.
I could make this a long review and tell you all of the reasons why I will never use vroom again, but to not waist your time like mine was here's a picture of my air filter that came with the car.
If the air filter is in the condition how would you expect the rest of the cars components to be.
The filters about as good as Vrooms service!
Horrible experience I didn't even get the chance to buy a car without having a bad experience. I was at the bank waiting for them for over 4 hours and no call back! When I called back myself they hung on me 3 different times! Do not buy your car here or you will not be satisfied
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy here you will regret everything you do with them including giving them a call or even looking at their site and downloading their app just leave them alone!

I did purchase anything I didn’t get the chance to due to horrible customer service
Vroom knowingly sold me a Jeep with different brands of tires on front and back, causing my transfer case, differential and axle to go out two weeks after delivery. Vroom will not pay for anything that happens to the car after the 7 days. NOTHING! Their 90-day-warranty is crap and won't cover anything because they say it's Vroom's fault. And my drivetrain warranty won't cover it because it was due to Vroom's having the different tires on the vehicle. $5500 to repair. Their customer service is the most horrible I have seen in my 52 years on this planet. You will never talk to the same person twice. Do not purchase a car from these people. You will regret it. My life has been turned completely upside down by purchasing a car from Vroom! Horrible, horrible, horrible people. I didn't deserve this in my life. SO UNFAIR.
Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase a car from VROOM. Very horrible experience. Very sad and have no car now because needs $5500 repairs and they won't pay for it two weeks after deliver.
I'd rather have my balls pounded flat with a wooden hammer than to buy from Vroom again. Hour long hold wait on phones and after 90 days still no title or registration and NO ONE seems to help or answer the phone after being put on hold. Buy local and be done in half a day or spend countless phone calls with different people and accomplish nothing.
I bought a bmw 2018 from vroom and after not getting any delivery date I decided to cancel everything. I have paid everything but now when I am asking for my money back I just keep getting transferred to different departments only for them to hang up at the end. Can someone please tell me how do I get my refund? I am very worried right now.
Vroom is an unethical company. They flat lie. Delivery was 5 days late even though every day they promised the vehicle would arrive. Unable to speak to supervisory staff or even get a direct line or extension of one. No ability to problem solve. They really don't care after the contract is signed. Really a very unorganized and unethical company. Buyer beware
Do not purchase a car from VROOM! Purchased my vehicle in March 4th 2022 still haven't received my title. I have spoken with over 15 people at a call center that all tell me that someone will reach out within 24-72 hours. They never do. I was originally told I would receive my title in 60 day and then 90 days and now it is 120 days. I have asked to speak to a manager/supervisor that is based in the US and have never been able to get someone to call me back. There isn't enough room in this box to go through how bad the customer service is with this company. The first part of the process was good and I had high hopes that the reviews were incorrect. I paid cash for the vehicle and received it within 5 days and received the tag and registration with in 30 days, but still no title. I will be turning this over to my attorney if I don't have a title in the next 30 days.
We found a different car so we called and asked for a refund of our $500 deposit. We were told 2-3 days and we would see it in our bank account. It's been 6 days and the guy I called and asked about it hung up on me!
Not good! That seems crooked and shady to say the least!
Very frustrating experience. I had a strong offer on a car from them and accepted it. No response for 5 business days. Then an email that I need to provide them the payoff quote in 24 hours or deals off. OK, I contact Audi Financial Services and have them fax the dealer payoff quote. This was on Friday afternoon. AFS says they did. Monday comes they say they don't have it.
I get one sent to me and email it. Oops. Not a Dealer payoff quote. Have AFS fax them again. Vroom says they didn't get it again. Finally they close the offer.
No idea if they have a failure on their end picking up faxed info or if it is AFS failure to send but to close the offer in less than 36 business hours after sitting on the accepted offer for 5 days is unprofessional.
Very disappointed and when I resubmitted the car the new offer is $3000 lower. My suspicion is they realized they offered too much and didn't want to honor the deal. I will never know. Just a seller beware review.
I purchased this vehicle in July. Immediately sent them all of the information required to register my car in Georgia. They came back several times and asked for the information again and I forwarded them what was needed. Eventually, my temp tag expired and I got them to send another. It expired. Now, the company literally will not respond to me. I am driving around on an expired tag and these guys won't even answer an email. Concerned about the legality of the car, at this point.
*screwed up paperwork 2 times
*had my money for 5 weeks (still waiting for cashier's check)
*took 3 weeks to deliver car
*had to pay $3100 to fix car they sold me (wiring harnesses needed)
*handed off 5 times in one hour talking to them about issues (had to explain situation each time I was transferred)
After 7 months of fighting with Vroom they now want to come get my vehicle because they claim they cannot get issues resolved on the title. Do not do business with this company so many missed deadlines, empty promises, and wasted time waiting for hours on end on hold trying to get help.
My purchase experience with Vroom went well. Everything as promised. Easy procedure. However, when purchasing my car tag, I noticed that the amount of the license and registration fees charged on my contract was about $200 more than the actual amount of the license and registration charged by the tax collector's office. I have contacted Vroom on 3 or 4 ( I lost count) separate occasions concerning this matter, but am always told that someone in license and registration will contact me. I was told that they contract out the license and registration process to another company and must check with them concerning the matter. But, I am tired of waiting for a resolution
BUYER beware! Vroom is a terrible place to buy a vehicle. I do not want to make this long but do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company. They sold me a truck that had to be in the shop for over 6 weeks after I purchased it. They do not do inspections as they claim. I don't even think the oil was changed they still won't respond and let me know. They're terrible about communicating with the customer. At first they were great but once they get your deposit its all down hill form there. I wish I would have read reviews before I bought from them. DO not do business with this company so many other options! If they would have offered better customer service and cared about my issues with them I could have overlooked everything else!
Took two months from starting the process to buy the car, for them to "lose" my paperwork, and threaten to release the hold on my car, to finally get my car.
I was promised about a month to get the necessary paperwork for registering my car. My sweet, customer service traumatized self gave them two extra weeks to start bugging them about this paperwork.
My car is now parked, and my most recent phone call ended with them saying it's going to take another 4-6 weeks to get anything done.
Sure the prices are good, but I promise the end value is cheaper with your local used car dealer, cause you won't have to pay legal fees to take these guys to court.

The Vroom is such a bad company that it is deemed to fail in upcoming years. If anyone decided to get a car from them then be ready for all the kinds of trouble you are getting into starting from wrong advertising, to delivery delays and on top of that getting a permanent number plate. To top of that the customer service. I really do not feel they know what they are doing. They cannot help you in a single way. Just for an instance I needed the bill of sale and to email it to me the service representative it saying they need 48 hours to email. My piece of advise STAY AWAY from them. Even worst they don't care even if you tweet. You tweet something an auto response comes in asking you the make model and VIN number you share it with them and then days, weeks and months pass by and you see no result.
Tip for consumers:
Don't ever use it

Found a car and did everything through the app. It came back with a APR of 5 and vroom called me and then said there was a problem. Said my APR was 12.04. That's impossible so they ran my credit twice for no reason.
Tip for consumers:
Go through another company

I spent two hours on the phone with a Vroom representative and provided all needed documents to both buy and sell a vehicle. Once I was pre-approved, they added $1,000 of undisclosed additional expenses on top of the sale price. The final straw was that they did not mark the car as pending and someone else purchased it that evening. Do not waste your time with this company! They seems with it on the phone and are a hot mess when it's time to deliver.
