Got a great price, basically everything they told me that would happen and how it happened was right on. I would have given them a five but when you call it seems they struggle to find the answer, they are very nice but I don't know how to explain it, in any case other than that and the car pick up being one week instead of 2-3 days like I thought they said everything else went great! Do exactly what they tell you to do as quickly as you can and it will be a smooth process.
Bought a car Nov 2. It is now January 25. No license plate. Both temp tags have expired. I cannot drive my $750 a month car without fear of being pulled over and arrested for no legal registration. Customer service has 45 minute hold times, then they transfer and hang up on you. I call daily and nobody can help. A nightmare. Stay away.
Forget about the 90 days warranty they offer its a real as a unicorn. They have even told me that they don't know about any 90 day warranty even after I have sent them my signed contract show the warranty they say they have not received it. When I send them something I my benefit they say they didn't receive it but if it works for they they do. They put me on hold for hours to just end up hanging up on me.
Tip for consumers:
It's an online app. without a real person to deal with they can just hang up and ignore emails. So forget about getting help.

Car purchase
We were told by the salesman that the car would be delivered in one to two weeks after processing of forms. The forms were handled in 30 minutes by phone, and we were told they were complete. This all sounded great. It took over two weeks for these idiots to process the forms according to them. No phone contact was made in over two weeks while we thought the car was on its way. Several desperate phone calls were made wondering what was going on, with no resolution. Finally the car came, the car was in pretty good shape, five weeks alter. We had three weeks of additional rental costs to contend with. These folks simply do not care that they hold you up.
Tip for consumers:
they need to communicate that actual processing and purchase time, the actual delivery time etc.

We sold our car to Vroom Process seamed straightforward and seamless, they picked up the car Sept 30th. It is oct 9th as I am writing this and still have not received a check. We have been calling vroom daily and they claim the check has been issued but has not shipped. Obviously this is very inconvenient, does anyone have advice on what to do? If we bought a car but didn't pay we would owe a lot in interest / fines..
They are absolutely horrible! We purchased a vehicle from them in The beginning of October 2021 and it's now the middle of February and we still do not have our plates and registration! We are still driving around with temporary tags. I was pulled over with expired temporary tags. We have called more times than I can recall and they just keep sending us new 30 day temporary tags, they have done that 3 times now. They have no ETA when the issue will be resolved and cannot connect me with someone who can help me. Worst customer service ever. We have contacted the local news station as we want this reported. People need to know what kind of business this is before they waste money on getting a vehicle from them that they can't drive because it's not registered! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VROOM!
You get the car with problems and they expect you to run around and get them fixed communication with office personnel is a big run around no one wants to take care of your problem worst company ever stay far far away safe yourself a lot of frustration
This is the worse company I've ever worked with. I've never thought it would this horrible. I bought a car in July and 8 months later it did in my driveway all not registered. I got a loan through the companies they selected when finding my car. I added my tax title and registration fees into my loan. Which now I pay for my car that sits in my driveway and for 3 months to the day can't drive because it's not registered. So with all the phone calls and emails and 8 months later as of this am 40 minute phone call still no resolution and if you but a car from them plan on hours of waiting on the phone. Don't bother asking for a supervisor... lmao they don't have A DIRECT LINE for one. So basically you'll be in my position like me and for it's the worse feel trust me. Paying for something you saved and searched for for over a year. Now I just leave my house as it sits in the driveway. All making monthly payment did I say that?
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from VROOM
We just bought a car from VROOM - worst decision of our lives! They deliver the car without title or temporary tags and the driver says call VROOM -- now on the phone and it will take three days to get temp tags! How do you drop a car off without temp tags and say good luck! Worst decision we have ever made was trusting this organization to get anything correct!
Tip for consumers:
DON'T DO IT! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!

We started this process 20 days ago. We have sent numerous complaints. 6 days ago they forwarded our complaint to the "escalation department". There has been no follow up thus far.
They received our paperwork 4 days ago, and we have received no indication of our car shipping. This whole process has been ridiculous, and no one at the company cares.
Do not recommend.
If I could give Vroom zero stars, I would. I purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 from Vroom in May and owned it for 45 days. At that point, my truck suddenly shut down while I was driving it and numerous electrical issues occurred. I brought it to a Ford dealership the next day and found out that the truck I purchased had a bad seal and a faulty seam, and water had gotten into the truck and fried an electrical module. I called Vroom and they said since it was past the 7 days, they would not cover any of the $1400 in costs for repair. I even offered to pay half if they would cover the other half. They would not even consider it, and it is not something that is covered on their 90 day warranty. If you are looking for a dealership that supports its customers and the vehicles it sells, look somewhere else. Vroom is not that company.
The entire process--purchasing and title/registration--has been horrible. The car I purchased had significant issues from the moment I received it, and had to be left at a shop the day after I received it to stay there for a week. I also called and left several messages over the course of two weeks after I submitted my insurance and VIN inspection for registration that never came in time before my temp plates expired. Now, without my car being registered and no temp plates, I cannot drive my vehicle a month after receiving it. I am extremely dissatisfied with Vroom and will never purchase with them again and will encourage others not to as well.
Bought vehicle in early Dec 2020. Delivered mid-January 2021. Nice car, but immediately needed to replace battery, wipers, and key fob battery. Rear tires at 10 to 20%, with only 9,500 miles.
Worst part is that temp registration ran out on Feb 15, had to make many many calls to get new temp registration, couldn't drive car for 2 weeks. It is now March 18, and 2nd temp will run out in a couple days, still do not have license plates for my state. Was given run-around several times over the phone, each time stating that my situation was "escalated". Deliberately evasive phone contact system, where the only people you can talk to - can apparently do nothing about your situation. Even, "can I talk to your manager" doesn't seem to work.
Tip for consumers:
Be very aware that you are buying sight unseen. It will take a long time to ship vehicle. It will take forever to get license plates. You will be frustrated with phone contact system.

Absolutely the worst!
This without a doubt has been the most frustrating insane upsetting borderlining on criminal experience I've ever had buying a car!
Of course once they get your money your deal falls in a black hole you're on hold for 45 minutes can't get anybody to answer your questions. When the car finally arrived I drove 3 miles the engine light went on! I brought it to a certified Mercedes mechanic who told me the compression valve was bad I needed to be replaced. Upon calling the warranty department they told me it's not covered because it's under the guise of the environment! Parts and labor will be over $1000 not to mention the fact that the tires were worn down so now I will have to go for another thousand on tires. The justice department should really take a look at Vroom because they are robbing stealing lying and scamming people every single day. I guess like everybody else I'll wait a year to get my permanent tags. Vroom should be put out of business immediately!
Tried using Vroom on a few different cars. As my credit score went up, so did their interest rate. The last car I tried buying, we agreed on financing and I sent in a $249 deposit. After some back and forth on them absolutely needing a copy of my Social Security Card, they decided they didn't need it. Then they sent me the final numbers again, and the darn APR went up again. Nice bait and switch that I caught and I didn't agree to those numbers, so they decided to cancel the sale. Of course it was a non refundable deposit, so they tell me I won't get that back. They changed the terms and canceled the deal, and I loose money? Buyer beware!
Robert, extension 7360, told me to fill out an application and he would call me within an hour about a specific car I wanted to purchase. I completed the application and he never called me. I called the following day and no response again. I emailed him and no response. It's been 4 days now and he has not responded to any of my emails or calls. I found out today that the car I wanted has been sold from another employee. Extremely disappointed with the customer service and unprofessional behavior from Robert.
What started on Jan 2nd is in limbo? The only follow up i get is when I call in. My error not sending the title with original docs. However once Sommer Jordan emailed me I fed ex'd the same day, signed for/delivered last Wed. I call Friday, a gentleman empathized saying he didn't know why its taking so long. When asked how to expedite, I'm informed I cannot. I posted direct messages to their social media platforms and nothing. I would expect more from a 30k purchase. They simply don't care

Worst company EVER! It's been a month since I purchased my care. NOTHING! No emails ( unless I send them one), no phone calls (unless I call them). They give you every excuse in the book as to why you haven't received your car. On several occassions! Customer service is non-existant! Steer clear! Use Carvana! I've purchased 2 vehicles with them and it went off without a hitch both times. Thought I'd give Vroom a chance. Worst mistake EVER!
I filled out all the information to get a price on my 2012 cadillac srx in better than average condition, the offer they gave was $1,253 that is laughable, the wheels and tires are worth that. The car is still valued at 12k to 16k by Kelly blue book, don't waste your time
Received vehicle 9 days after their "no later than" projection. Made over a dozen calls to vroom to track delivery, each time was promised a call back with more information. Only one of those promised callbacks was made - the day it was delivered. Driver failed to call ahead and dropped the vehicle in our driveway without a phone call. Now trying to get a callback on what info to give them so they can register and title as promised. They just have no clue.
Conversely, bought a personal vehicle through Carvana. Was a wonderful experience with competent customer service, gift package, follow up.
I bought a car in January. It is July and I have still not received the title and registration. I have reached the max number for temp tags and cannot drive the car since the last tag expired June 30th.
No one on the phone seems to have the authority to do anything meaningful and anyone who does won't call or email me.
I placed a $500 hold on a car on vroom, and when trying to move forward with the purchase, I just hit a brick wall. Called customer service for hours to try and get an update. No one knew left from right. No one knew the status of the vehicle or the next steps.
I spent another hour trying unsuccessfully to cancel. Eventually i just went to amex and disputed the charge. I regret every minute I spent interacting with vroom. Just stunning levels of incompetence.

Now 5 calls. Informed at 9pm that the carrier would be delivering tomorrow.
$700 for failed delivery and my daughter's birthday present missing.
Ridiculous. Can't tell the location of the vehicle. Couldn't reach the driver x 5 times.

Got an offer on my trade in email, of course the email link they sent didn't work to start the process. Set up account with them was not able to apply my trade to the sale. Called the number and they said they would transfer to Sales on hold 5:29 and finally hung up. Nobody has contacted me in 4 days. Use Carvanna they web site is much easier to use.
It has been Almost 2 weeks and still waiting for delivery date - i tried calling customer service couple of times all they say is the vehicle is in transit and they are keep delaying the delivery date.
Worst customer service ever they'll tell you straight up that they can not escalate any matter to management team. They will put you on hold for 30 min and tell you that there is no new updates.
The whole process takes wayyy too long and there is no type of communication. If i could go back I would've canceled the deal.
Buy car from carvana. They are so helpful and better than vroom
They claim to be "headache free", but I've had to call dozens of times to get payment issued to myself and my lienholder. A huge hassle. They offer a higher price than dealerships, but good luck getting through to someone who can help you in customer service. Honestly not worth the extra $ to go through this experience and feel like you're being scammed.
Vroom is the worst place to ever buy a car from they will give you a Aneurism. Customer service poor as in they have no idea of what the hell they are doing. There is no communication between the agents. It took them 90 days to pay off my trade in turn messing up my credit, 4 months to extend my temp tag because they didn't submit the docs for my titling. What's worst is they took another month to to send the title and when they did the color of the vehicle was incorrect. I'd rather climb to the Empire State Building a jump off before I do business with them again
