I will NEVER order anything from Wayfair again! While the quality of the furniture is questionable and I would say is a "hit or miss", the service is beyond disappointing! Wayfair Customer Service WOULD NOT OR COULD NOT DO ANYTING TO CORRECT THE SITUATION! I order my son's college apartment furniture from them. To be fair most items arrived when expected, but the one large Freight truck item was rescheduled FOUR times! While we waited for the bed to be delivered FOUR times it arrived 2 hours early the first time - and we were down the street at the grocery store. They did not call or text, they did not LEAVE the item, they took it away on their truck to be reschedule ONE WEEK out! That one week date came and my son waited 12 hours for the delivery when they finally had to stop delivering at 8:00 PM due to Truck Union rules they could not work more than 8 hours. Then it was rescheduled to be delivered 4 days later, but the next morning it was rescheduled again for a WEEK later!

The worst part is that NO PERSON at Wayfair could or would do ANYTHING to correct the situation!

I canceled the order and had to start over shopping for a bed!

I bought a patio set one of the items was defective when I initially called customer service they were so nice said we will get you another one as soon as possible this was in December
Called back in January they still hadn't shipped it they said I'll be getting it January 6 call back then FOR SURE January 26 callback NOW being shipped 2/6 no tracking number so called again told 2/9 Even got an email from someone named Brandon that said he's on top of it he will make sure it goes out he never responded again
Today I'm told February 15!
I don't believe I'm ever getting it there's no phone number to talk to the executive offices
I signed up for a Wayfair credit card they already got their payment February 2 that was my mistake I should've put it on visa had I done that I could've disputed it until I got all my merchandise they offered $40 off if you get a Wayfair credit card.

I've never had such runaround from any company in my entire life if I call on the 15th they'll probably tell me I'll get it in March if I call in March they'll probably tell me I'll get it in April

I don't believe I'm ever getting it and they think I'm going to give up which I won't I'm entitled to it!
Prior to ordering it since I had never ordered before I did see some reviews that said the item didn't last in the sun but I don't have a HOT HUMID sun where I am like Florida
A couple of people said the rattan was defective so before I ordered it I called they said if it does come defective no problem we have great customer service will replaced
Not the case I looked on their website they have all kinds of awards? I would recommend ordering from Amazon or Overstock

I purchased a lot from Wayfair over the years and I started to notice things I bought were for sale cheaper at other stores. They would charge $250 for a lamp, for example, that was $99 at Amazon. The things I would receive also came damaged a lot. I don't want to pay hundreds for damaged merchandise so I'd request a return. They always told me to keep the damaged merchandise and they would offer me a full refund. Sounds great, huh? Well, I thought so too until one day, I purchased a solid wood accent table for $500 and it came crushed. Drawer wouldn't open, top was cracked, cabinet door off its hinges, just completely unusable. They wouldn't allow me a return, even though I had pictures proving it was destroyed. They said my account had been "flagged" for too many returns. Excuse me? I didn't write the store policy, I just did what they told me to. They said my business was no longer welcome and I threw out the "attorney" word so they gave me "one last refund as a courtesy" but they demanded instead of keeping the damaged accent table, that I package up its pieces and mail it back. I told them that's fine, I didn't want to keep the damaged item in the first place. Then I was told I was not allowed to return anything again in the future and if I was to purchase anything, it had to be over the phone with the manager. Yeah that's not happening... no thanks wayfair, I'll take my business elsewhere. I never asked to keep the damaged returns, THEY TOLD ME TO. I'm not some thief and I'm not poor either. I have 7 figures in my bank account and I live in an 8 bedroom house. I don't need to steal to have nice things. I have never been talked down to and told my money isn't welcome at a store before. Do yourself a favor and shop ANYWHERE but here. If they did this to me, they'll do it to you too. *** side note: my neighbor just told me they don't even offer full returns anymore on anything? It's like 33% refund and you keep the broken merchandise. What is wrong with these people?!

I ordered a dining set on 7/17/22. I had no problem that delivery could be 4-5 months from date of order. My problem was Wayfair CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE ORDER ON 7/31/22! I spent at least 5 or more hours on the phone with 5 to 7 various Wayfair customer service representatives explaining that I had no issue with the delivery date. My issue was with charging my credit card. I received conflicting information from the various reps that the dining set was in stock, that it would be delivered in October, that I would get an email from the manufacturer (never received one), and that they did not know when it would be delivered. I was told that it is Wayfair's policy to charge the credit card account 7 days after order or upon shipment of order. This would mean that if something was damaged, I would have no recourse to correct the issue because it would be more than 30 days since my credit card was charged. I finally contacted my credit card company regarding this issue. Wayfair's response was just to cancel the order! No other contact, just cancel the order. Wayfair deserves no stars.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I ordered a crib from Wayfair in late November/early December. I received a call from their delivery company a few weeks later and agreed on a delivery date. I took off work that day and waited at home. They missed their scheduled morning delivery and called to say they were going to come in the afternoon. NO SHOW. Then the next day they called to say that they needed to reschedule. Long story short, they rescheduled with us no less than 6.7 times! Sometime they would call to cancel and sometimes they wouldn't even call at all. I took off work for 4 days because of this. After the 4th cancellation, they called to tell us that they don't know where my crib is, that they could not locate it in the warehouse. So my question is... how were they going to deliver it the first 3 times?! My husband called Wayfair on numerous occasions to complain and they kept saying it's the delivery company's fault. They didn't try to help us get in contact with them and never got us a satisfactory resolution. After about 3 weeks of this back and forth nonsense, I finally called to cancel the order. I spoke to someone name Kara who cancelled the order for me and appeared really concerned. She gave me her direct line and told me to call her with any other problems. Three days later while at work, my husband called to say that the delivery company was at our door. RIDICULOUS! I called the delivery company and they had no idea that we had already cancelled the order 3 days ago! On top of that, we were refunded nearly $200 less than what we were charged for. So I called Kara twice, left messages, and it's now over a week later and I still a haven't heard back from her. This whole experience has put so much unnecessary stress on me and ruined the excitement of receiving my baby's crib. I ended up ordering the same crib at Babies R Us for cheaper and their delivery process was painless. I will NEVER order from Wayfair ever again. They don't even deserve 1 star!

Mattress refuseal

I purchase I mattress on the 12th of November and I called to cancel on Nov. 14th. I was told I got an email stated that item was shipped but I did not. I ask about refusing the package because it is not like I have the package in possession but a Wayfair manager, Tammy didn't care. She stated I would have to pay 42.21 on a return Item which I am not returning I am refusing package. Tammy stated, she can call Federal Express for a turn around but you still will charge me 42.21. My item cost is 327.74. Which include tax and they want to charge 42.21 to because I want to refuse package. What confusing when I order it say on their website free shipping with order over 35 dollars. But they want to charge 42.21. Regardless, I would not ever order from Wayfair again because they have no integrity and seem to not care. Once you hit enter except to spend over 40 dollars for refusal or return shipping. SHM.

I ordered two dressers that required assembly from Wayfair, and because I cannot assemble them at this time, I paid for Angi.com to provide an assembler. The day after the dressers arrived, an assembler arrived at 3:00 p.m. Telling me he had never assembled a dresser before, he worked for two and a half hours and botched the first dresser so badly that the drawers won't even close. He said he would return the next morning at 10:00, and I waited for two hours. He never showed up. When I called Wayfair, I was told that it doesn't stand behind some of the products it sells, including this brand, and said I need to get in touch with Angi to take care of the mess. The representative at Angi said it would only refund the cost of its service (since he couldn't do the job and didn't show up as he said he would) after they received an email from Wayfair providing verification I had bought the dressers and paid for Angi's service (up to six weeks after the refund process begins) but that Wayfair is responsible for the damaged, dysfunctional dresser. Wayfair then responded that it is Angi's responsibility, not theirs, and I am stuck with it. Neither business accepted any responsibility for its products or services. Because the dressers were to be a matched set, I had the unopened one returned to Wayfair, which charged me $58 for the return. Now I am stuck with a dresser that is unusable and am out the cost of one dresser and a delivery fee. I have had unsuccessful shopping experiences in the past but none as bad as dealing simultaneously with one company that clearly doesn't screen its employees and another that doesn't stand behind the products it sells. It was an expensive lesson learned: never deal with either company again. Let the buyer beware.

FALSE ADVERTISING

It is the second time that I purchased something on Wayfair with a great discount and they do not honor it. I would suggest you stay far away from this crooked company.
The first time, my item was canceled, and they said it was wrongly advertised on their webpage.
This time, I was sent part of the product but not all. When I called, the first time they said they were sorry, and that the rest would be sent once I contacted the manufacturer. The second time I called, they said it was wrongly advertised on their webpage and that I had received only what I paid for and that because I had had such a great deal they were sending me only part of the product. Why would I want to buy only part of a Murphy bed!?!? Would it make any sense to any human to order the wooden box and no bed mechanism?! Of course not. After hours of research and calling they said the only thing they could do would be refund me after I repackage and send what I received back but they couldn't do anything else.
What a great way Way"fair" to make cash flow off of people and then tell them to send back the stuff for a refund! Of course, they don't care about the hours lost and their customer service is terrible!
The bottom line, the webpage lies, and its people do too. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY!

I wish I had seen this review site before I ordered from Wayfair. What a frustrating experience! The people I talked to when I ordered were very kind and helpful and that's where the good part ended. I ordered a bird cage and was told over and over that it would be shipped within a few days and I would be notified by email. I was notified, however, the date of shipping kept getting set further and further out. 20 days later, I called to find out where the cage was and was told that I would receive an email or phone call by next week sometime as to when I would receive it. I waited a few days longer and still no call or email from the shipper. I called again and demanded to know who the shipper was and that I would call them myself. After some hesitation, I was told who it was but she didn't have the phone number. I found the shipper about 20 miles from where I live and gave them a call. They had received the cage in their warehouse and had it scheduled for delivery next Monday. I thought about it for a few minutes and called back to see if we could pick it up. They were very professional and helpful and said we could come and pick it up. When I got home, I found an email from Wayfair saying the cage was scheduled to be delivered that same day between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. This was already about 11:30.

Going back, after I ordered the first cage, I called again to order 3 more cages. I was told they were in stock and was given a date of April 28 for delivery. Then a few days later, I received an email saying that all three cages were out of stock and I would have to wait until July. I had had enough by then, so I cancelled the orders and went elsewhere. I'll have all three cages by the end of next week! Bad experience, I'll never shop there again!

Initially, I carefully scheduled my order to be delivered on January 12th after 1 p.m, ensuring my availability to accept it on that specific date. However, my expectations were shattered when I received an abrupt notification that my delivery was rescheduled for January 8th. This sudden change wreaked havoc on my plans, especially considering my ongoing move to a new apartment, where I am unfamiliar with neighbors who could potentially accept the delivery on my behalf.

Attempting to navigate this logistical nightmare has been a futile exercise. Wayfair's customer support seems powerless to address the issues caused by their chosen delivery services. As a customer, I am left in a predicament where I cannot choose a suitable delivery time.

Thanks to the collective incompetence of Wayfair and their chosen courier services, it appears inevitable that I will not receive the ordered mattress and bed. Consequently, my first night in my new home will be spent on the floor, a direct consequence of Wayfair's inability to provide a reliable and customer-centric delivery solution.

This entire experience is not merely inconvenient but profoundly infuriating. It is disheartening that a company of Wayfair's stature would demonstrate such disregard for customer needs and preferences.

May the frustration and inconvenience I've endured haunt Wayfair and its associated courier services as they have marred my first night in my new home.

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WAYFAIR AGAIN!

I was confident to buy my very first massage chair which cost more than $2k in price. I was so excited but not knowing it will never arrive. It was bought on Oct 9 and was expecting it on October 12. I called and chat with customer service many times to follow up. They cant tell me what was going on until until October 25 and informed me that the chair was lost in transit...so ok then I called again to speak with supervisor which she was kind enough to give me discount and said the chair will be replaced... I waited again until Nov 12. NOTHING! My last hope was maybe it was delayed again but no... THE REPLACEMENT WAS LOST IN TRANSIT! AGAIN?

SO I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I GOT THE MOST RUDEST ARROGANT PRICK! I have said that maybe Wayfair dont even have this chair so it would be fair for me to get another model. He assured me that Wayfair will not send me another model but the same one... WHO IN ANY RIGHT MIND WOULD BELEIVE THAT WAYFAIR HAS THIS MODEL WHICH THEY HAVE LOST TWICE IN TRANSIT?

SO TO MAKE MY LIFE EASIER... I ASKED FOR A FULL REFUND!

BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!
