Purchased another Item, haven't Attempted in Years to TRY again. Wish I hadn't "tried" Again because I Did Question why there were No reviews & Now I know Why there are None. Their Site won't Allow My Review on that Item & All I Attempted to do was Give it One Star. Nope, Wouldn't Allow Me to Do Anything. Not only is the Item, a Kitchen Cart the Lowest Quality of Anything We've ever Purchased, Any where But the Price for NO Quality, Cheaply Made, Ridiculously Weak & MISSING PARTS! Is Just Sickening. To Think We Gave Almost $300 for this thing & Of course, You Can't Send it back & They know that. We Will Probably Also Purchase one at Badcock Furniture because for Same Price it was Heavy, Solid Wood & Looked like a Piece of Furniture, Not a Cheap Piece of Garbage. We'll have to now Donate this or give away, so much for a hard earned almost $300 worth of Crap. Seriously reminds me of some Doll Furniture, a Toy rather than a Kitchen Cart I'd Ever Trust to Actually have Any Weight on it at All. Sickening. Update, I emailed Wayfair & they may have Offered a refund. I'll know in 3-5 Days. Offered as a Store Credit but At least when we Literally THROW Away this item, It Will Not have "Hopefully" Cost us Anything Except an Entire Day Trying to Put such an Inferior Low Quality item together with Missing Parts & Very Cheap Materials. Stay tuned.

I rented an apartment in another state last June. To avoid some of the risks of COVID exposure I purchased several items from Wayfair (twenty-eight orders). I had products that arrived broken, products that never arrived at all, products that took more than four months, and products that were delivered to my address (wrong state). In short, everything that could have gone wrong did. They routinely used the COVID pandemic as an excuse for VERY POOR customer service. My case was elevated to their Executive Resolution Team, which is a complete joke. I envision some half-qualified customer service representatives who've been given the title and who are supposed to cater to customers who've experienced a multitude of issues. Well, they do nothing. You can't get them on the phone. You leave a message and they might respond within twenty-four hours, or not at all.

One example, I purchased a $2,100 modern leather sofa that arrived with a seven-inch hole in the back from the blade of a forklift. They offered me a 10% discount if I were to keep it. I insisted on a replacement, so I waited two months for it to arrive. They attempted to deliver without notice and I was traveling out of state. We scheduled a redelivery attempt, which they missed twice. In the end, I told them to keep it and I requested a refund, which they promptly offered.

In years past I have ordered many things from them. There is no service at Wayfair, no accountability, no professionalism. I canceled my account and I will never purchase another thing from them. I would have been far better off just buy local.

Save your money. Avoid the frustration and time losses. I'm my life I have never seen an organization that failed consistently like Wayfair is doing now.

If I could give zero starts, I would!

My wife and I have just moved and need to buy some furniture, so we bought a couch from wayfair. We placed the order on June 11th, and were originally told the delivery date would be June 15. June 15th passed, so did June 16,17, and 18th. I then sent an email saying that my delivery date has passed by a few days and I haven't gotten an update nor a couch. 2 days later I get an email back saying that my new estimated delivery date would be June 26th with no explanation of why I hadn't gotten an update on my delayed delivery until I reached out to them. June 24th came, 2 whole days before the new estimated date, I open our door and see 2 boxes sitting outside our door! Hooray! We bring the boxes in, start putting them together all excited that our couch is finally here. We get all of the parts put together and we look at the masterpiece... 3 parts of a 4 section couch. We got 1 end piece with all the cushions, the middle piece with all the cushions, the foot rest with no cushions, and no second end piece. Don't worry, that's not even the best part. The couch is super comfortable... for a child. The pictures and measurements on the website are very misleading. Knowing the headache it was to get an update on the delivery, I look forward to the migraine of trying to return this rip off of a couch and trying to get a refund.

The customer service sucks, and the product is about the same quality

Save yourself, don't buy here

Wow. I've never had a worse experience buying something online before in my life.
In December we ordered a cat tree. It was supposed to be delivered by the end of the month. We get an email saying it won't be delivered till mid-January but that's not a huge deal.
It was supposed to come in two boxes with DIFFERENT parts in each box. One was delivered to our house and the other was "delivered" to a Walgreens down the street. There was no second package delivered to ANY store in the area. A few days later the second package shows up at our house. With the same parts as the first package. Okay, there's absolutely no way to assemble a cat tree, we call Wayfair.
They say they're so sorry for messing up our order. Also they no longer carry the cat tree we ordered so we can't get replacement parts. So we now have a bunch of cat tree parts with nothing we can do with them. But they have another cat tree that's cheaper and bigger! They'll send us that one and it will be delivered mid February. Cool.
Awesome, two boxes, here comes the cat tree kitties! Wrong. AGAIN we received two of the same half of a cat tree. At least this one can form a partial tower so we decide to assemble it before we give them a call. Just in case something else is wrong. Glad we did. One of the platforms had the fabric attached to the wrong side of the particleboard so the only way to attach it to the cat tree would be with the fabric facing down. Good thing they sent us two boxes of the same parts? I guess? Box number two had that piece with the fabric on the correct side.
We call them for a second time, explain the situation and they assure us that the second part of the tree is now on the way and will be delivered March first. March third we get an email that says, "your order has been cancelled at your request." Honestly guys… I just want the money back at this point.
So I call Wayfair again. 45 minutes later I get a refund. I'm never gonna order even a single piece item from them.

Bait and Switch

I ordered two 48 x 30 mirrors (Schweitzer by Brayden Studio) from Wayfair for my master bathroom. I really hesitated ordering these as the price ($470 each) seemed like a lot. But...they got amazing reviews (Have you ever noticed that nearly all Wayfair products get practically 5.0 reviews?) I had seen another mirror on Amazon and Houzz that was similar, cost around $250, but got terrible reviews...more on that later.

I was specifically looking for a chrome framed mirror, which this mirror was...at least that's what it said in the product description. I even called Wayfair - twice - confirming this. "Yes, yes...It has a shiny chrome frame," both reps said.

While the mirrors arrived in a very timely manner, I was shocked when I saw the packaging. The boxes said Eviva - the same brand I saw on Amazon and Houzz - the one that was around $250 with the terrible reviews. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. I opened one box and saw that the mirror was not framed in "shiny chrome" but brushed nickel and the construction was garbage - just like the reviews on Amazon and Houzz said. Yet the reviews on Wayfair were glowing - I suspect written by their own staff.

Of course we want to return these mirrors. However, Wayfair not only expects us to return them with an $80 return shipping fee but expects us to work directly with the manufacturer - Eviva - in doing so. Um, what?!? I don't think so, Wayfair. False advertising, fake reviews, fake brand. Complete bait and switch. Oh, and they would not post my product review (which I gave a 1 rating) alerting other customers that this mirror is not framed in shiny chrome, is poorly constructed, and is actually another brand that you can purchase for over $200 less somewhere else.

Ordered a couch July 12, received a "delivery date" of July 30, which to everybody and company means when an item will be delivered to the address. On July 26 tracked delivery and saw it no longer had a scheduled delivery date and is now showing sometime after 8/4. Called Wayfair and they say it's showing on time because according to them a delivery date means when it shows up at the warehouse that will eventually delivery it to you. Guess this is how they show short delivery dates for data purposes when actually you have no idea when your packages will arrive. The woman on the phone said the 30th is when it shows up at the warehouse near me. It then Takes about two days for them to get it off the truck. Then I will get an email to arrange for a delivery date where they will eventually get it to my house. God knows when this will be. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT IT TO ARRIVE BEFORE THE NEXT COMING! Returning the couch. I can get something just as good that I will be able to have this year.

Scammy refund policy

I purchased a chair from Wayfair that was pictured as burgundy in the photos on their site. It can in as hot pink. I buy decor for my photo studios so precise colour is very important - although, I would imagine it to be so in most interior design projects as well. Instead of making the return simple (I hadn't even taken the item out of the box), I was contacted by 'an executive solutions' team that required me to take pictures of the item with a handwritten note containing the order number. No other specifications where given. I took a photo of the chair in the box, in the back of my car - thinking they just wanted to make sure I have it in my possession.

I wasn't given any other instructions. I had to contact Wayfair twice to get instructions how to send the photos to them as I was not hearing back at all. All together I've spent about 3 hours on all the back and forth and two photoshoots for this chair now to satisfy their requirements.

After that, I got an email stating that, according to the executive team the colours were in fact identical. I am attaching photos of the listing and the chair I received so you can judge for yourselves. I ordered a dark red (burgundy) chair - a color that they refer to as 'cranberry red' - what I received was what I would describe as hot pink. Regardless of that you choose to call either color - the photos speak for themselves.

After countless back and forth, this executive solutions team/ Wayfair is refusing to cover the shipping cost back for an item that clearly does not match what they are advertising.

I won't shop there again. Hopefully my experience is helpful you. With how prevalent online shopping has become, these types of practices are completely unacceptable. Returns should be easy and hassle free especially, if a retailer has made an error in their listing - they should claim responsibility for it. With larger companies like Wayfair this is just disgraceful.

Shout out to the worst customer service reps at executive solutions - Sonya and Yolanda.

Wish it could be NO stars. While shopping online, I got notified from my bank of a withdrawal from my account... from WAYFAIR! It went through PayPal, which was not linked to Wayfair. Wiped out my bank account. I immediately (within 5 minutes) cancelled everything, while trying to figure out what happened. I contacted Wayfair and they said they cancelled all but one item... the most expensive... because it had been shipped. I would have to wait for it to arrive and arrange to have it sent back. (I asked how they shipped within 5 minutes... no answer.) Today, SIX DAYS later, I get a message from WAYFAIR saying my item shipped. SIX DAYS ago it couldn't be cancelled because IT HAD BEEN SHIPPED! I also have not been refunded for the other items. Automatic payments are now being denied from my account because of THEIR MISTAKE. They had the nerve to send a 10% off coupon off a future order (A
FUTURE order?! Ha!) I am hoping these reviews and a local tv story will keep others from this headache!

As a new customer, I ordered a product from Wayfair. Originally it stated that the item would arrive within a couple of days. After I placed the order I got a notice that said it wouldn't arrive for over a week. So I cancelled the order and found the same item on Amazon which I received the next day and at a better price. I also ordered a second furniture item from Wayfair that same day. After placing it I read a couple of reviews that implied it was not a quality item and was also sized more for a child than an adult. So I cancelled that order right away and confirmed it with a phone call to customer service. A day or two later I received both cancelled items and also discovered that one of them had been charged to my new Wayfair credit card without my permission. (Originally I had made payment with my debit card.) I returned both items the same day they arrived and spoke with customer service who said they'd cancel the payment charged on my Wayfair credit card. After so many mistakes in a short period of time, I asked them to close my account. I decided that Wayfair didn't seem to have very good communication between departments and as a whole seemed disorganized. I thought at that time that my account was all paid up but I discovered later that I still had a small balance due from an earlier purchase. So I confirmed with customer service the total amount due and then went online and made the full payment that same day. A month later I received a new bill stating that my payment had been a day late and they were then charging me a $25 late fee with interest on top of it. After reaching out again to customer service they stated that even though I had been told what my current balance was at the time of payment and in spite of them failing to inform me of a possible late fee and even though I paid the balance stated online, there was nothing they could do since the account had been closed. In order to avoid future late fees and charges, I'd have to pay the new balance due. I paid the extra charges begrudgingly and mentioned that I'd be writing this review. So, I'm through with the dismal, short-lived Wayfair experience. I'm sticking with Amazon from now on.

I ordered 4 doors Drawers and they send wrong item and when I got my item it was too heavey they put it out side my garage door then they scheduled for pickup wrong item so they came and took the correct item and back and forth for 3 days talking to them they supposed to send my order so after waisting my time they canceled new order and told me there isn't on thier inventory and retern my money gain called them return my handy price to me Very easy I bought my item with good price fromASHLY they delivered early and with respect and just done smooth and easy just please don't waist your time from buying from Wayfair just share my very bad experience with people.
