I did find a caregiver. But, I thought the site was difficult to navigate. Using the site for the first time was very challenging. I also think it is quite expensive although I didn't know how to find a caregiver any other way besides going through a company and that way you don't always get quality people. So maybe paying a bit more will be worth it in the end. I am hopeful.

I have posted 4 notices requesting housekeeping help and received only one response which sounded promising. I replied to the message but have not heard back so I don't know what to do now. I would like to hire this person but won't be able to if they don't respond to my message. I will probably keep trying to find help till the end of November and if I'm not able to will just give it up as a lost cause and cancel my membership with Care.

My husband and I hired a local sitter for a few hours to watch our 5 and 8 year old to get some much needed couple time. Our Sitter was on time, professional, calm and polite. We have a special needs daughter and have never left her with someone who was not family. My sitter helped calm my nerves by asking a lot of questions so she could be well-prepared and showed a genuine interest in my children. She followed all our home rules and both kids did well with her. I will use her services again and recommend care.com for your nanny needs.

Was able to find a wonderful sitter in short notice. She was great with my toddler and flexible on time. Be aware the site does automatically charge you for original time you book. Does not account for situations where you change the hours. Luckily Gabby was very easy to work with and we worked it out

Once I contacted Care.com, they had tutors for me to review within minutes. It was very easy to choose one with the information that was offered. The tutor has been to our house once & my grandson loves her. He feels very comfortable with her. The prices are reasonable, which was a plus.

I needed someone who lived close by since I usually just need 3 or 4 hours not making it worth a long drive. I found someone who does not want a full-time job so my irregular needs matched up perfectly.
This is the second caregiver I've found thru Care.com and it's a great resource.

Need to give yourself some time. You may find someone to clean the next day, but a more reasonable time frame, given the double blind platform, is 10 days to two weeks. The security Care.com provides both the worker and the one hiring is well worth the cost of the server.
I was happy with the number and quality of those who responded to my job ad.

Bad experience to schedule a caregiver because of the obstacles with communication with your online system. Caregiver never communicated nor came and I was still charged $55 I need a full refund please!

The moment I put my ad on care.com for part-time nanny/housekeeper I started to receive applications. I received many applications, and they were very easy to review and then the communication with the applicants was also easy, just texting. I hired a wonderful applicant who has worked out very well.
Everything has continued to go well with the applicant whom I hired.
I would definitely use care.com for future needs of this sort!

Bought a premium subscription after having success as a guest. Would not allow me to communicate with candidates/applicants after they applied. Lost money. Lost time. Lost candidates. Went to a competitor. Found a candidate in no time. Care.com would not refund me my subscription even though it was only 24 hours old, with negative results.

It took 8 months to find someone to clean our home on Care. I would give up, very frustrated, and after a while, go back and try again. We finally met Irma Martinez and she is great. We are very happy with her and give her "5 Stars". To Care, being honest, we only give "1 Star".

I think the small blue balls location is a waste of time. Move it away from the send arrow. I don't know if I sent messages to some of the applicants. I never heard back from the candidate I closed the position for so...I'm going to open another requisition. Over all this is clumsy and a waste of time and money.

I had a number of candidates, but only a few that met my criteria. And then one person applied, I accepted, we made arrangements to meet to discuss the position, and she never showed. I reached out to her via text and call and she didn't respond at all. So I left a review stating such. Then she got mad that I did that, and she blocked my account. I don't need that kind of negativity when I'm trying to hire someone. Another person accepted the position but didn't want to take any advice as to how to do anything. I offered her to work with the existing person for a couple of hours to get a feel for the place and she refused, which was on a friday, so she said I'll see you on Monday. Meaning she wasn't going to work Saturday that she agreed to, and she was not hired from monday. These are the type of people I got.
I wouldn't do it again. As a matter of fact I have a lead on someone that I got from outside of care.

Samah was on time and let us know where she was outside our hotel. My granddaughter took to her immediately as she was calm and friendly. Samah followed our suggested activities and sent pictures of conformation, which made us feel confident that all was well. I'd recommend Samah to anyone looking for a quality caregiver for a child.

I booked a sitter for our three kids after signing up and paying for the paid subscription to Care.com to be able to communicate with the sitter. The website experience was decent, but the chat feature limited us from sharing phone numbers, which was annoying and made it difficult to connect.
In spite of that, after finding a sitter that was available that felt like a fit, we confirmed and I had to pay through the site. After confirming and paying, the night we booked the sitter for came and the sitter never showed up. It ruined our night, we missed our event, and we are out almost $100 for nothing. Super disappointed.
Disappointed and at minimum would love to get a refund for the sitter we booked who never showed up...

The woman we hired canceled a few hours before she was supposed to come. I tried to arrange another time with her because she wanted to work it out. The morning she was supposed to come she texted and said she couldn't make it. At which time I told her I no longer needed her services. Extremely disappointed-I had company coming and she committed to the job and left me hanging twice.
