I get parcels delivered by Yodel every month or so. A couple of years ago their service was dreadful with parcels (cases of wine) probably stolen at the local hub. However over the last year, a change of regular driver and I have only one slight moan and that is about the Yodel tracker. I get told by the sender when the parcels have left them but the Yodel tracker doesn't show any information until it arrives at the local hub. Then I get an estimated delivery slot but very often it comes the day before. Which is usually okay with me and especially when the tracker shows my local area and the location of the delivery van.
3 parcels returned to sender, one given to a stranger, see photo. Could not find my address, strange when I get deliveries from other couriers and Royal Mail. Their chat bots are useless and no real people to speak to. Leave a bad review and it is answered by AI etc etc etc
The first time the driver didn't even bother to exit the van, and the next day they broke my items. Customer support will treat you like $#*!, and with 0 interest.
Not sure where Yodel have delivered my parcel - they say it's been delivered but it's not been delivered to me or to any of my neighbours. I did not receive the promised two hour delivery slot email either. Used webchat to find out what was going on only for Lekhika to tell me that the delivery slot had been emailed to an email address that very definitely isn't mine! So now I've been provided with someone else's personal email address and I've no idea where my parcel is? Yodel said the parcel arrived earlier than expected so delivery was attempted 24 hours earlier than promised but who knows who the Yodel driver has given my parcel to! Lekhika then terminated the webcat without answering my questions!

BEWARE, Yodel drivers do not ring door bells, call cellphones or even knock. Yodel claims to have attempted to deliver my parcel three times, and I've been home every time. When I gave them a cellphone number to call (which is also on the front door), they say the driver can't call as this is "not part of their service". AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I don't know how yodel manages to survive,I would advise everyone to give this company a wide berth, they are not worth even 1 star I have many years of BAD experiences I could go on Ted Allen Croydon

I am very disappointed and shocked with the service that has been provided by the YODEL. I was expecting a parcel from virgin media, however I had to go out therefore nobody was at home, so the driver instead of taking the parcel back, he left it outside of my house in a heavy rain, I didn't get home till late. When I got home, saw the parcel in front of door, water went inside the parcel as it has been outside for 5hours.The parcel contained the Internet router inside, which has been damaged and not working anymore due to the driver stupidity.

I missed the 1st delivery due to a fall. I am disabled and had to go to hospital. On getting a card I rearranged delivery the next dat to a different address, all was confirmed. I tried all day to track but it wasn't updated. I tried to ring customer services but its automated and it doesn't help. I used their chat and twice was told to keep checking the tracking and to remain at the property. By 8pm I used chat again and was told it would be with me at their earliest, I asked which day and she couldn't or wouldn't say, she just kept repeating thank you for your patience, your delivery will be with you at our earliest. By this time my patience had run out and I asked if she expected me to wait indefinitely. And she repeated herself again. Avoid at all costs, they lie have no sense of urgency, make promises they have no intention of keeping and will not speak to you personally. Awful company!
Yet again we had no choice in delivery company and got stuck with Yodel. This time it was books sent out by the open University for a course that they have lost. Clamour they have been delivered only not to our house. We have security cameras and a ring doorbell so can prove it they haven't been delivered here. Our neighbours have also checked their security footage and no delivery was made on our small 10 house street. They have investigated and the driver insists he got it to the right address but they themselves confirmed the drivers GPS doesn't place him even close to our home address. Yet still they say the driver is right and the books were delivered to the right place. Have even checked the delivery address with both Yodel and open University and they were no errors. This service is beyond a ridiculous and as a result has actually affected someone's education as they now don't have the required books and the course began today. No help offered and online chat gets cut off by the customers service reps. No response to emails and not answering phones. Just a recorded message to go through online chats. So what do we do now?
Seriously no exaggeration the worst service ever experienced in my 45 years on planet, delivery date due Friday up to now over a full day of my time wasted both waiting for package not to arrive and also the many many online chats and phone call to Yodels 'advisors' not to mention the expense of a special 30 mile round trip in complete vain, everytime get promised delivery tomorrow and it never comes, ask to speak to a manager best they can do is ask them to call you back which they never do, despite all the problems and complaints the latest reasoning given was no drivers were going in the area, pretty much central Chesterfield... really! Is this even a delivery company? You'd think given all the complaints they'd make damn sure a driver was going out that way but they have no care to customers, my advice would be if ordering anything that states uses Yodel stay well clear and businesses use someone different or you'll open yourself for bad reviews on the basis of the shoddy courier you choose to use. Update it's now Tuesday and best I can hope is it may turn up tomorrow.
Waited all day yesterday on a delivery that did not come to 7pm the texts told me it would of been delivered by 11 am. had to take a full day off work unpaid
Waiting over 1 week and Yodel still have not delivered and worse still, customer service relations team said they will ask the management team to contact Nantgarw depo to locate the parcel... so they are not 100% sure where it is! I have reached out over 4 emails, 3 webchats and 2 telephone calls. Apparently the first driver couldn't locate my address (the post office and DHL don't have this issue), and the second driver apparently "attempted to deliver but left a calling card" because I wasn't in. I was in the house all day watching the tracker, the driver did not knock the door or leave a card. Blatantly lied to finish work early. Don't bother with webchat, you get automated responses and tell you what you want to hear without actioning anything, and save your breathe phoning the customer service line, you cannot speak to anyone and again all automated leaving you frustrated before fobbing you off leaving no closer to a resolve.
If you are looking to use Yodel to deliver your parcel please be very careful. I've had a horrendous experience with them. On 10/07, I paid Yodel to deliver an item to a shop to receive a refund. The shop's Terms and Conditions stated that I had to return the item within 14 days for a refund.
I paid and trusted Yodel to deliver my parcel in a timely manner. But the entire experience with Yodel has been a terrible nightmare. Despite me giving Yodel the opening and closing times of the shop they made two failed deliveries because they went to the premises long after the shop was closed for the day (Gone 6.30 pm).
15 days later they delivered the parcel but once again turned up after closing hours and dumped my parcel with an unknown source.
Yodel Customer Services is an absolute joke. The online chat is operated by BOTS I believe from South Africa and India. All they do is copy and paste from a script like parrots. The same goes for Customer Services on the phone. The BOTS simply read from a script from South Africa and India. It's a horrendous joke at the expense of the paying customers. If you want a package delivered to a business premises be careful because Yodel thinks they can rock up whenever they want and the parcel will not be delivered for weeks! Third grade service from this useless company
Got my parcel that was much needed as i am not allowed out of the house to being in the high risk category it came in time and the driver was in full ppe gear
They have been delivering the parcel for 6 days now and they cannot deliver it... After 4 days, when the status of the parcel did not change, I wrote to the Yodel staff how long it would take for them to deliver my parcel and I was assured that it would definitely be delivered the next day. The next day I was assured that the parcel had left and the courier was on its way to the recipient and to give them a moment because this shipment was their priority. On the 6th day, it turned out that the parcel was still in the warehouse, the staff who assured me that the parcel was on the courier's lap did not have access to the location of the parcel and they did not know where it was. And priorities are set 48 hours in advance, so the assurance that the parcel is priority is also a lie, and the delay is caused by the courier, trying to pick up the parcel from their own point, arriving after closing hours. I checked it on tracking and it's correct, the courier tried to pick up the parcel at 7 p.m. in a store open until 4 p.m. but it's still a day of loss out of the 6 they need and I don't know if it will take longer because the package is still in their warehouse. I totally advise against using their services because they do it very poorly and lie to avoid the problem.
Pathetic and stealer delivery service! Their poor underpaid drivers are notorious for stealing the packages and mentioning wrong tracking info on so called online yodel tracking. Their webchat advisors dont even understand english and escalation email service is hell disgusting as they dont hold themselves accountable for not delivering the parcels although tracking says that its been delivered. They hv got language issue somehow as well as they simply copy paste the same emails.

I placed an Amazon order which was to be delivered by Yodel by 4th July. On 4th the tracking was updated to say that delivery had been attempted but was unsuccessful and asked that I contact them for the delivery. I had been out for approximately 10 minutes and assumed I had been unlucky enough to have missed it in that time. I contacted Yodel to be informed that they were very busy and that no delivery had been attempted as there would be a delay. My Amazon order info was then updated to say that I had requested a different delivery date, although they are unable to give me a new date or time slot. Now I have the inconvenience of having to wait in for who knows how long or miss the actually delivery attempt. The implication of the false tracking details was that the delay was my fault rather than theirs. Obviously to deceive the person using their services into believing that they were at least attempting to meet the service for which they were being paid. Now my delivery will be late due to Yodel issues, and I am being blamed. They need to improve their business to meet promises they make, or admit when they are unable to. What they do not need to do is blame recipients of their deliveries for their incompetence.
I have to say I've never in all the time I've been having home deliveries heard a driver speak the way this boy did. Apart from not doing his job and denying it when he was clearly caught red handed and seen, his attitude and language leaves a heck of a lot to be desired. But yodel are not interested. They have the worst customer service going. I'm still waiting for a response from them regarding this matter. One the parcel needed signed for and couldn't be left anywhere. But he took it straight to a neighbour didn't knock at my house although he said he did. I was stood at my front garden at the time and watched him. He then proceeded to put a card through the door saying he'd missed me and started arguing when I questioned why. Then the language that came out his mouth wasn't even fit for a mens changing room after losing a footy match
I'll be contacting the company who use them for this delivery and inform them that yodel is not reliable. I could have easily said I didn't get the item. I didn't sign anything and neither did my neighbour. No wonder peoples parcels go missing as I think it's company policy to just dump them anywhere or with anyone. If you leave a delivery message on the app they ignore it and put stuff in the bin if it's there who looks in the bin for parcels

Let's start with the big question... where is my delivery which is valued at £225.87 that you CLAIM was delivered to our front porch when no such thing happened. We've been home. We've been waiting for the parcel. So imagine our surprise when the text comes through to say our parcel had been delivered to a "safe place".
Now let's move on to the annoyance factor that now that we're trying to ascertain who has received our parcel instead of us, there is NO ONE to talk to for help.
Your company doesn't even provide proof of delivery in the form of a photo taken to show where a parcel has been left so for all we know the thing is still in the van.
We've canvassed our neighbours and no one in our estate has received it either so where have you, oh Yodel-a-he-ho, left our parcel.
We'd like our parcel. Absent that, we'd like to file a claim but without being a member of Mensa, or an Oxbridge D-Phil we have no idea how to make an inquiry other than to shout at you on social media.
UPDATE ----- I found a customer service number for Yodel and spoke to a representative who indicated that the "GEO TRACKING" indicated the parcel has been left at a property nearly 3 MILES AWAY from our house -- the scan isn't entirely accurate but it looks like it got left at public swimming baths. Excuse me? A public swimming baths 3 MILES AWAY? What a colossal joke. They're going to try and contact the driver to get the parcel retrieved to deliver it to us. It's not like they left it with one of our neighbours but dumped it somewhere that doesn't even have the SAME STREET NAME as ours. Pathetic and inexcusable.
Prior to this week I had had no problems with Yodel. However, for my most recent delivery I had requested it be delivered today, when I knew I was going to be in. According to the tracking app, an attempt was supposedly made yesterday (when I wasn't in, hence asking for it not to come yesterday) but they claimed not to be able to find the house? Yodel have never had trouble with this before, and if the sat nav had taken the driver to the exact location as claimed, it would have been possible to find. Also, using the tracking on the website isn't the best way of notifying of a problem - as I wasn't expecting it yesterday, I had no reason to look at it then, whereas if I'd had an email or text, I would have got that yesterday and could have resolved it sooner. Supposedly I'm to wait 24 hours for the system to be updated...watching this space to see whether that happens. I usually get an email with a time slot, but didn't even get that yesterday, which makes me question if an attempt was actually made!

Did NOT deliver the package although driver says she did. However I was home all day, only caller (AND only time the dog barked all day) was for the royal mail postman. Yodel will NOT engage as I did not send the parcel?! The (English-based chinese) "sender" will not engage as they have their money and don't care. Yodel were asked for proof of delivery and I was told that the fact the driver SAYS she delivered it is proof enough. UNBELIEVABLE! What a nice little earner THAT must be! I have proof that it was NOT delivered - I SAY it wasn't (and so does the dog - that makes it 2 against 1, Yodel!)
They are the worst delivery company. The drivers are lying and the aren't doing there's jobs.
