A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

Sometimes you don't know how much a product is hyped and what features have been hidden, so it's good to buy on eBay from a normal store and be able to return the item, unlike going in to their store and being unable to return it easily. That's really the only thing good about eBay now.

Got suspended for unknown reasons and eBay has yet to give me any logical reasoning. Tried endless months to get an answer but no one would help. All they did was give me the runaround and cut me off when I was looking to speak with higher management. After being a member for over 3 years, they didn't even bother to acknowledge my requests.

They don't care about you like they used to. EBay makes it where sellers are on the losing end. Such corruption but yet they don't see that.

I had to hire Auction Essistance to help me set up a new business account just so I can start selling again.

Starting over from scratch isn't fun, but when you don't have much other options, it is the only logical solution at the time.

Ebay will always side with a power user like Immospec, just because they have 1,500 listings. They need to protect their $$$. Ebay even deleted my negative feedback and denied me a refund for service I never received. Don't pay with paypal, use your credit card online so you can dispute charges. Ebay is very bias towards buyers, they won't refund you at all cost.

Ridiculous fees, poor customer sevice, takes forever for funds from selling to clear by Ebay's new "buyer protection" process, this site is clearly taking advantage of being the only viable to buy and sell. Please let there be a new site to put this horrible company back in their place. Megalomania in it's purest form!

I wish there was an alternative. Worst customer service. Withholding $12k of my money because of a "technical glitch" that they can't figure out. They "submitted a ticket" 10 days ago, they don't communicate anything to me, I always have to call in only to be told that no progress has been made. I can't talk to anyone that can actually do anything. Time passes and I'm going to bounce my rent check, and meanwhile eBay can't give me any answers why they are withholding payment. Why not pay me and then work on your stupid technical issue? This is all eBay's fault and I get to just shout into the wind. What a garbage company.

Sellers are fake, fake listings, no warranty, I bought a LG g4, sent it back to seller but got it back in same condition after 15 days, and after that he is saying you have to pay for repairing, it's very pathetic, couldn't even use the mobile for 1 week, they are selling defective products on lower prices. Don't buy.

I've been using eBay since 2004, I won't do any of my online shopping anywhere else. I have had a few problems with sellers but they're quick to refund you if you have any problems receiving your items. I've also had problems with checking out with debit cards but hopefully soon they'll get these issues resolved.

Read the reviews first. Not on their site, but somewhere else. They post made up, imaginary / fake, completely false good reviews. EBay has a tremendous amount of unscrupulous sellers(professional thieves.) The name of the one I dealt with was land_cha. Do yourself a favor and shop someplace safe like Amazon.

EBay fails to recognize the rights of sellers.
I have been a buyer and seller for the past 12 years.
What was originally a great place to buy and sell as turned into a place to get taken advantage of.
There are many unscrupulous buyers out there (not everyone, but MANY) who overbid an honest bidder, then refuse to pay. Of course eBay does nothing to these lowlife bidders. Then others demand refunds for clearly advertised used items because the item was not pristine. They expect to get a $200 item for $12 and expect. It be be brand new.
Oh, but of course "the customer is always right", so the seller has to pick up the cost of shipping both ways and other expenses.
I now use Amazon, Etsy, eBid, Craigslist and Letgo. These all protect the SELLERS rights.
Try them out when you get screwed by selling on EBay. It's only a matter of time...

Beware of scam. Use eBay only if you want to waste $$ have spare time and above all great patience!
I bought a quadcopter, received faulty. The replacement part sent by seller was faulty. Seller agreed to refund with return shipping cost and when returned item delivered at their warehouse, seller disappeared. EBay provides no service other than auto generated mails of highly being sorry and they are investigating! EBay rules are made in such way that it provides easy escape to seller and only positive feedback. What a scam! I lost $210, plus invaluable time communicating and shear frustration now. One of the worst places to become buyer. Total scam, fraud and cheating.

I gave Ebay a 1 star rating only because zero stars was not an option.
As a 25 year member of this corrupt, lying, money hungry, corporation, I finally said b-bye.
Seller support is non-existant. Buyer support doesn't even exist. Their only concern is getting your money, no matter who you are.
Buyers have a license to steal.
Quality sellers are axed when they hit a limit.
It's nuts.

I've been a member for about twenty years, and despite a few problems in the recent past, ebay is becoming worse. Now ebay is taxing even nonbusiness listings (items). Import charges emerged about a year ago, which is ridiculous.

This is aside the sudden rise in shipping fees, which makes it so actually traveling to go pick stuff up is becoming cheaper. I've decided to stop collecting band merch because of the shipping fees-$20 for a shirt? Then add both an import charge along with taxes...

Also: I don't know if this is only happening to me or to others also, but I've suddenly been told by ebay that my bank details needed updating-This just after two recent purchases; Now my money from an item I've just sold is being held up until the end of this month.

Ive been shopping on ebay for many years. Sometimes i get good stuff and sometimes i dont. My major complaint about this site is the communication of the sellers is just awful. I cant tell you how many times ive written a seller with a question or request and heard nothing back. Also as of late the prices have been really going up which sucks. Ebay until recently always had really good prices but now theyre doing what all the other big corporations do, theyre taking a bite out of the little guys arse.which sucks. So overall if youre looking for a casual usually reasonably priced goods shop on ebay but dont go on that site for their communication. People are so quiet on that site sometimes i feel like im on planet of the apes trying to get my money back.

They have stopped using PayPal and now want your actual bank account number. NO to that. Millions of people and sites get hacked every year.
And, just spent half an hour trying to list one blouse, I got an acknowledgement that the listing was finally up, but it wasn't. Much of the form you have to fill out is unclear as h*ll and the site keeps sending you back to fill out something that's incoherent, so unless you've gone through all this before and found your way around, don't bother.

I was awarded two refunds by two different sellers for goods never received and got neither of them, despite the seller and eBay assuring me they were issued. Well, not according to my bank who said they weren't even pending. I have tried really hard to contact eBay but all you have is a basic page to refer to that fails to address your specific problems. Shockingly bad service.

Tip for consumers:
Complain on sites such as these. Ratings are very important to them, so bad ratings do get back to them

I have been an avid buyer and seller on eBay since 2004. I have only had a couple of bad experiences, but with PayPal buyer protection as well as eBay's reporting systems in the help section, those experiences were resolved with both parties being happy with the results. I can teach anyone how to buy or sell on eBay successfully. Look me up under username dospalomascantina and check out my feedback record. This site is trustworthy.

I have been an ebay member for 12 years both as a buyer and seller. I love the site. The only thing I feel that you need to look out for are counterfeit items. There are a lot out there. Ebay offers guides on how to spot fakes and they have been helpful with my purchases.

If you have a paypal account make sure your ebay and paypal passwords are not the same just in case your ebay account gets hacked. My fiance had his hacked and his address and phone numbers were changed.

I love this site! You can find almost anything that your looking for. My husband calls me Ms. Ebay cuz I'm always on it. I'm not gonna lie sometimes I get disappointed, specially around the holidays cuz they try to sell thing that are out of stock but I'm an Ebay fan overall.

Three times in the last six months I found items sold on eBay being reported as completed sold, with false selling prices. I reported this each time to eBay customer service, and each time they verified that indeed the showing sale price was not accurate, I pointed out that buyers and sellers look to sold prices, to make or set a offer or selling price, they saw my point and said they would report this, create a case, and respond to me by email. None of this was done on all three occasions. I have suffered as a seller and buyer by eBay's corrupt manipulation of sold prices. Ebay has their hands on your items, funds, and success as a customer, and they abuse this control, it's a fiduciary relationship and they fail to maintain minimal standards.

Ebay is a living nightmare. Zero customer service. The reps don't know anything and are rude. Buyers rip you off. Open a bogus not as described return. Throw the label on an envelope and return it. Ebay shows tracking as delivered and they instantly refund the buyer. Try to appeal and they send an automated response that their decision will not change. They will add bogus charges to your bill. Good luck trying to dispute them. Computer glitches at 2 am putting your items on sale. Thought you had a great night for sales until you realize the money you lost from the glitch. Good luck getting that straightened out. It's not worth the hours and hours being hung up on, getting incorrect information, broken promises, and being told your a liar. Three years of pure frustration and aggrevation isn't worth it. I'm now on other selling platforms and business is booming. Wish I had gotten rid of ebay much sooner.

I purchased something off of eBay and clearly got scammed. The representative I spoke with laughed when I said I've been scammed. They hire these robots (I say that because they show no emotion) from other countries who don't care about your problems, even if they're first world problems. I still paid money for this item and they won't do anything about it. Stay away from this site. You're better off spending the $2 or more on Amazon to get the protection you need.

Almost everything in my room is from ebay great company all the packages Come on time. Excellent service thank you. Ordered a Darla cutter - very clever piece of garden equipment which unfortunately stopped working after 2 months. Was replaced immediately after reporting to supplier. Very good service thank you.

Been with ebay for twenty three years, have over fifteen hundred positive feedbacks and I get one buyer saying the item I sold him wasn't the one he wanted. No problem, send it back and I'll refund you, no big deal. Next thing I know I get threatening emails off these ebay faggots telling me my account is blocked and I can no longer receive money from buyers?
I refunded the buyer like I promised and have told ebay to close my account, which they said they will do as they don't give a toss about loyal customers as there's always someone to replace me.
Ebay was once good, now they are totally $#*!.

I always wondered about rejected items Twice claims have a stain or can't accept for some other mysterious business. Well, I sent them high quality, some NWT and the rest barely worn. The rejected 5 our of 11 items. Then sent me between $2-$5 for the other items. So I kept an eye and guess what I found 6 months later on their site-the items they had rejected. Yep. I know they are my items because they all popped up at the same time. BEWARE of this SCAM company. Their customer service is awful. Go to your nearby consignment instead.

I'm buying and also selling in Ebay, for more than 8 years now, and i believe that is almost the biggest electronic market around the world. There is always some exceptions with some of the sellers, that they don't follow the rules but they are so few, that you don't need to think about them. I recommend it to every one of you.
