A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

We have done a fair amount of business with ebay since 12/2017. Recently, we ordered product which our postal service claims they delivered, however, the items were not received. The tracking log did confirm it was delivered as they stated so they assume no responsibility for the loss. If you honestly think the delivery service is a fail safe experience you haven't done much. Research if items were always delivered as stated we wouldn't need to insure packages against damage, loss or theft. A larger tickets item would have forced me to litigate but small loses are the cost of doing business. Anyway Buyer beware you are not protected but the seller and their delivery service is., T Funk

If buying on ebay, request delivery with signature or you risk loss without means of recovery when buying.

How many times have I received items that were described as being perfect and was received with grinding marks, dents just generally miss represented. I return the item after explaining to the seller what was wrong. Not leaving a neg feedback which I regret now. But find out when I go to bid on a item at a future date that I have been band from bidding. Banning someone is only supposedly for not paying for a item you won not as a tool for retaliation. I've contacted ebay and was told (we can't force someone to sell to someone they don't want to). Then please give me a list of sellers I have been banned by and why.

Zero human interaction to resolve issues. Awful customer service, only a bunch of articles. What the f***

Return going back to an international address, not domestic as on package. Discourages returns, as far more costly returning internationally.

Zero customer service and scammy sellers.

E-bay never again!

Oh my gosh, it's exactly what every person (who has sent items in is saying) i wish i had read this site before, i sent in DVF, J. Crew, marc jacobs and other brands - i must have sent a retail value of over 1,000 - some items new with tags - about 30% were rejected and then i received 111.00, i was floored, i didn't request my items back as i don't know where or what process they go thru. I should have donated or sold via ebay. This is a sleazy operation - as a seller it should be avoided, it is below a last resort. I actually feel violated - robbed.

EBay is now like a garage sale with a bad customer service. There are lots of Chinese sellers with the defective product. Items are broken, not as it was told, refurbished or not working properly. EBay is like Craigslist type sales now.
Good luck to all buyers and I am done with eBay.

EBay money back guarantee is fraud. I bought an item from a Seller truehabit. And they sent me defective item when asked for return shipping label. They never sent me and insisted me to send the coat paying from own pocket for return shipping fee. When I talked with eBay customer service agents. They all of them were working in best interest of seller. Even they removed my feedback from seller website. Shame on eBay

Rude, arrogant bunch of con artists...forced me into a business account and kept getting scammed because of it...ebay showed no compassion or remorse, let alone liability.seriously screw these guys.hit them where it hurts.boycott them and there greedy pockets

When they advertise that your money is protected is a huge lie. A few weeks ago my delivery was marked as delivered and I didn't get my parcel. Seller doesn't care and eBay told me be my responsibility find the parcel as the seller provided a tracking number as delivered. They close my claim, no money, no item, nothing. So be aware if you have the same issue is likely you lose your money, the customer service is awful and actually in legal action against them.

Avoid this company buy amazon instead

Purchased goods which were fraudulent. EBay were totally unhelpful despite phone calls and letters (which were replied to by email). Out of pocket to over £1000. 00p! Won't buy anything else from their site. They used to be helpful but not any more, won't even investigate or take action against the seller. We have had to take our own civil proceedings against the seller including tracing his address!

Hi. First off I want to say that I don't hate ebay but I wanted too purchase this hat from a website and I was told "we are sold out", "you will get your chance next year". People are selling them on ebay brand new for way more than what the other website was selling them for. I did contact the original website and told them about the situation. I know there is probably nothing they can do about it. I would rather buy the hat from the original website.

I think the sellers that use Ebay are of a lower quality and ebay does not hold them accountable for misleading ads in an attempt to sell items. I have been misled to many times and then force to pay the return shipping for an incorrect or junk item. I am done with ebay and their shifty sellers.

Terrible company to deal with on every level. They always manage to surprise me with what they can get away with, huge fee's, really bad customer service and once they have ripped you off they will tell you nothing more can be done. I wish I had never started selling on ebay. Not to bad as a buyer.

I love eBay and do most of my shopping there. As long as one checks the reviews and the country the product is in its all fine. I have never had a bad experience with them apart from some secondhand book dealer in the UK who abused me, but hey, we all know what 2nd hand book dealers can be like.

I have had 3 buys in 2years on ebay, one purchase in 2013 for a tool seller sent sex book and ripped of many other buyers, next one was month ago for tool battery which nothing came but they took funds, and now waiting on return of funds on defective materials sent to me last week. Ebay has become a den of thieves, and ebay allows them to operate since ebay gets money from their wares. Save yourself heartache, phone calls, and your valuable time, do not do business with ebay!

Tip for consumers:
Ebay is a den of thieves with ebay condoning their activities and dragging out the investigation process hoping all will go away and they in turn get to keep funds.

From my experience, eBay has always been on the customer's side. Lately, though, I noticed these people would much rather take the dumb seller's side! Heed my warning when I say do not purchase from a useless imbecile of a seller named "TIPBEER"! I never received an item so I complained to both the seller and to customer service but they too did not help at all! I suggest you guys stick to purchasing items from U.S. sellers! These awful sellers from China are just careless, money hungry liars!

EBay is only a platform for other people to sell what ever they want online, so its hard to review it, even though - eBay helped with any issue I had in a matter of a few days, and they are also managing PayPal which is giving me even more confident.

There are a lot of things I can not find on eBay but nothing they can do about it.

Ordered a hammock from unique_factory on ebay. Sent message asking if it had a mosquito net. Reply was it did have. No net arrived. After much correspondence they still stand by that it is "as ordered". They will not honor their word. They cannot be trusted. Pictured on the page are nylon hammocks and what arrived was a cotton hessian. Absolute crap. Further look at web page you can see a small statement that there are 2 types. Not professional and not trust worthy. Do not buy from them.

I ordered a product through smart Shopper 26 on the eBay site. I never received the product. The tracking stated that it was delivered to another zip code (other than mine). Smart Shopper refused to replace the lost item and the eBay money back guarantee is not true. They just use the gimmick to get you to buy through them. They also use USPS to deliver your item and it could be dropped off anywhere. Beware,,,,

E-bay 100 % money back guaranteed is a joke. This would be my second time this year that I bought a bad T-Mobile phone from a seller. I filed a complaint with E- bay then I got a same respond from E-bay that no refund case closed.
I've been a frequent buyer with E-bay from the past. I've switched to Amazon now or buy outside knowing I could return a bad item.

I move to another country and change my phone number. All I need is getting back my acc but just only Auto reply answer me. It's need me call them back cause I'm out off list countries they can call. I am there customer since 2016. Feel upset alot.

I sold an item new undamaged and the buyer claimed that it showed up broken and I didn't want to accept the return because I did not cause the damage. EBay Does nothing to protect its sellers against scammers, stay away!

Love ebay. Been using it for over 10 years. I repair phones now for a living and I use ebay to buy a lot of "one-off" parts for certain repairs. I would stay away from sellers with excessive / recent negative feedback.

Awesome site. I use it every now and then to buy things (clothes, electronics, dvds) and i never had any problem. This one time happened to be a bad transaction, but i contacted the and they solve it within problems. :)

Ugh! I got nothing to say because I m so sick of it. They suspended your account for no reason. My mom's account, my dad's account my brother 's my cousin's. My cousin's husband's. A lot of time my family think Amazon may send workers come to pretend to work for Ebay and f them up. Now I understand why your stock went from 72 dollars to 36 dollars
