A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

I don't like to support China, but you can't beat the prices. It takes two weeks to get your product, but when you pay $2 for something they charge $9 for in a US company I find myself buying more and more. I get deliveries several times a week now.

This outfit backs and takes sides with the buyer. I sold an HF ham amplifiers. After the auction the buyer paid through the new eBay pay system. They hold/block funds until the buyer says he is satisfied or not satisfied. While he has your piece of equipment and you still have nothing. He swaps out tubes, Collins 520b they were new, changes out the power supply with one that had blown caps. Than he tells ebay you sold him defective item. I sent affidavits and receipts to ebay that this amp was 100% as described and the condition pristine. Ebay sided with the $#*! hole. I have hired an attorney. I will never ever deal with ebay again. They are crap.!

I have shopped on this site many times. It has never been a problem. Sometimes there are scams and rip offs so it's good to check the ratings, and the reviews. Read the description slowly and make sure you understand it. Communicate with the buyer. Try not to spend so much. Keep your self on a limit. So if you do get ripped off or scammed, it will be unfortunate but you wont lose as much money.

All I'm going to say is be careful when buying items on eBay, there customer service team are not helpful? It even gets worseer when you contact Paypal open case they too! :( don't help. Best advice pay VIA Credit Card and report to your card company it's a lot quicker. If there was (0) ratings I would give it to eBay.

There are lots of fake/counterfeit items being sold and eBay and PayPal are okay with it and support the dodgy sellers.

I went to finally utilize my credit from selling my clothes just to find out that they're closed? They had no problems sending out emails to get me buy their clothes, but couldn't bother to send a message to tell me to request my money?

Seems like more than just bad business. Can a company just post on their website, without directly contacting their customers, and give only 30 days for compliance? I see the makings of a class action lawsuit here...

I sell on Etsy and Facebook and have for years with no issues receiving sale funds. Ebay on the other hand likes to hold funds. I sold an amp on Ebay, $1065 sale. I packaged and shipped the amp which the buyer received and even gave me a 5 star review for packing, description, etc. Ebay still holding my funds for another 3 weeks. Ebay is NOT for new sellers. If you have not sold there before, DONT BOTHER.

Tip for consumers:
Dont use to sell if new.

This site has almost everything on there for great bargain prices. You can even sell nostalgic items that may cost a pretty penny if they are still in like new condition. Visit the site and play around the feautes to get a better understanding of how things work. Shipping can be expensive though, especially when an item cost $4.99 you will have to pay $25 for shipping. Shop wisely. Buy items that are worth the shipping cost.

Though selling stuff here may be difficult, at least this site, you can find like, literally everything! Even I had my stuff shipped here, and as long as you use this site with an account without any hassle, no problems! Well, you get what you buy, right? And that's that.

Tip for consumers:
Be sure to READ the description carefully when buying something with a smaller price! I wouldn't whine and complain about changing your mind if I were; what you get is what you buy, I guess...

I just bought 2 items on eBay. One came in today and was missing parts. I bought under guest and I've been trying to contact eBay and seller, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE! EBay is a pain in the &&$ to to accomplish anything. Most user unfriendly online company I've ever come across. The Worst. I can't leave a review or get ahold of anyone.

Ebay is a smokin hot website. From clips to big ticket items, I can purchase anything. The search function is brilliant. The feedback structure made me as a buyer to be confident when buying and helps in avoiding scams. The layout format is what I am most comfortable about this online store, it's very easy on the eyes. The functions of the cart and exciting bidding process is amazing. I have won items that I wanted so much because of the fast bid function.

I ordered once from this site and was pretty happy with the items, but then they started spamming me constantly. I was getting at least one email a day from them, sometimes several, and they use all different email addresses so blocking them is nearly impossible. I downloaded the ipad app and got a $10 credit so I have been looking to buy something else to use the credit, but find it really hard to shop because they pin all their tops and dresses back on the mannequins so everything looks form fitting until you read the measurements and realize the actually shape of the clothing is totally misrepresented. For example, I looked at what seemed to be a form fitted blouse in a size small. Upon erasing the listing I find that this top actually has a 50" bust and is very oversized/draped in fit. Yet the pictures so something totally different because they insist on pinning everything back. Not a smart move!

After 16 years of buying on Ebay I'm done. I've been hearing horror stories lately from other buyers and now it's happened to me. Had a transaction with a dishonest, rude and unprofessional seller. The first negative transaction in years. I ended up losing money to ship item back (seller was fraudulent and buyer protection is a joke) and then Ebay removed the well deserved negative feedback I left for this scummy seller putting them back at 100%. Called CS and was told it was a mistake that the neg was removed but they had no way of reinstating it... right. More and more buyers seem to be leaving Ebay and now I know why. I feel cheated and betrayed by both seller and Ebay. I'll be doing my shopping on other online sites from now on.

I have routinely had my orders cancelled by seller over the last year. Encumbering my money and time. Very F$#%@*(&^%N FRUSTRATING! These were items considered to be good finds. By the way, its extremely difficult to leave a review when on ebay site. The seller very simply manipulates ebay by posting item as sold and when better offers come in they cancel purchased item. Ebay does not give a damn at all, try calling them. Do not use ebay.

I added some auto parts to the shopping cart for review later. Upon pressing payment button, it automatically charged to my credit card that I didn't know I had activated. It is used to be that you could select payment methods, but ebay apparently has changed that and they desperately to suck money from you. Anyway, I immediately canceled all transactions, but one seller still has not given me refund yet for over a week. Beware of ebay and their sellers. Bad company has bad sellers!

Everything on ebay tends to favor the buyer. I have been buying & selling on ebay for over 17 years. Unfortunately it is difficult for sellers because there are to many fees and the items for sale are very competitive (price wise). When you sell something you have to pay a 10% ebay fee, 3% PayPal fee and the seller has to pay for $&H. This is why I prefer to buy instead of sell. I am no longer afraid to buy from sellers with zero feedback. Ebay guarantees every auction. Transactions are very safe and Ebay and PayPal both have phone support. Ebay has the best exposure. On the top 10 list for hits on the internet. Amazon is number one.

I bought a transmission from an ebay seller. I wrote to him what car I have and he replied on the ebay platform that it fits my car. The transmission did not fit my car and I asked for a return and refund. There were several options for reasons, from which I chose "doesn't fit". Both the seller and ebay refused the return because I had applied with the reason "wrong size" (for them "does not fit" and "wrong size" are the same thing) and I had to apply with the reason "it is not according to the description". I see that the review, obviously negative, was not published either, probably due to an ebay rule. It didn't matter anymore that the seller misinformed me by telling me that it fits my car. Moreover, an ebay employee, in a chat within ebay, advised me to sell the transmission again on my own.

Tip for consumers:
Take care what you buy, because, are big chances, you will not get a refund. I, personally, do not trust the sellers' feedback . My negative feedback was not published yet .

I had been buying same items for months and none of them being sent. (It was fujifilm instax9 sheets). Everytime i have to call customer service and most are did not get proper training to handle it, cannot give any straight answer and wasting time repeating same information over and over again. Bad to do business in ebay nowadays!

I listed a watch for sale and got scammed within 8 hours of posting. Fortunately I didn't fall for it. The buyer offered nearly double the opening bid price, and then sent a fake email from PayPal telling me I needed to ship the item and send a tracking number before they would release the funds. I contacted PayPal and the email is fake. EBay has no place on the site to report this kind of activity and still shows that the item sold (and they are invoicing me 10%) for $5,200.00. Seriously illegal activity. I'll take my stuff locally from now on! Not to mention bringing all email correspondence to the Attorney General office.

Insurance my a...! I was just cheated of £200, and ebay won't do nothing about it even though they know they have a dodgy seller on the site (uk-performance-uk) that sell fake car parts. After returning the item last month, never received my money back (and ebay closed the resolution case 3 days before deadline and before they paid back.) I did nothing wrong, kept in contact with that cheating seller, asking about my return. Because the case is closed and the item wasn't paid threw paypal, there is nothing ebay will do to help and nothing to punish them! I'm not even able to give them a bad review as the purchase was taken off my list! Only told me to be more careful in the future(!) Scum.!

Ebay is the worst market place. Please avoid them. I had an issue for the sold item. They hold my payment for 21 days even though it was delivered. They didn't mention it before and second they state the listing is free but, actually they have hidden 10% charges which they never disclose until item is sold.

I have purchased things from eBay for years. It was not always the smooth communication when you have trouble with the seller. Recently I have won a beautiful and rare antique cup set form eBay. Ike that cup set very much and important things it's really rare. Who knows this seller refuses to do so, I guess I bit it on a good price and sh doesn't want to let go of the cup. So There's nothing I can do about. I ask for the refund back and left her a negative feedback. After that she attacking me with the rude and inappropriate message. I contact eBay to help me with the messages. EBay agent are really nice and provide a great communication service with me. It was a great and professional. That is reason why I still love to shopping on eBay.

Purchased refurbished Note2 from CellularStream to replace my previous one that lasted 4 years until I broke it. I should have paid closer attention to the 30 day (from purchase) warranty because the phone lasted 66 days from activation, started spontaneously restarting, factory reset itself twice, then died. I've spent hours trying to reload the ROM but it appears to have internal electronic problems. I contacted CellularStream to get an exception to their warranty and I was denied. $125 gone forever.

Its very satisfying shopping on ebay for me, when i did have an issue buying something i called up ebay and they helped get through it, very friendly customer service and awesome treasures to be found, ebay helps me with my Pokemon collection and make up too

I have use Ebay on and off for years, I am disappointed to say that Ebay has progressively gotten worse over time. Expect the worst when you buy on ebay.
I definitely recommend Mercari as an alternative. Mercari has better prices and a simpler, more refined experience.

That never stick up.for the sellers ever.They close out cases and it is always for the buyer.I just lost $135 because the woman lied and said the items didn't work when it did.showed the.proof that it worked and ebay still refunded her shipping...have to.find a new site
