If you buy something on eBay and the seller says it was delivered, too bad if it really wasn't because eBay won't do a thing about it. They actually told me I had to contact the carrier and get proof that the item wasn't delivered to my house! The item might have been delivered to the wrong address, got lost or stolen, it doesn't matter you are simply out of luck and out that money. After the 2nd time this happened to me I closed my account for good.

I purchased a pair of Nike shoes. Ebay supposedly sent them to an Authenticator before it was sent to me. They authenticated them. After they authenticated them it is no longer returnable.I received the package and they are fake. The stitch is coming off. The fabric was glued to the shoe and you can see the glue. It looks like these were made by a child. They even have additional markings and stitching that aren't on the real Nike shoes. I don't even know what size they are because there is no tag on the shoes. Complete trash and a scam.

Selling on Ebay is pretty easy to do. Buying is somewhat risky. I own a webstore, and ebay can be helpful to promote your website by leaving a link to your 'Terms' page on your website on a listing. I recommend if you can't find a specialist for what you seek, use Ebay.

Hey just a word of warning be careful of buying on eBay let me say some seller's have good reps there and stand behind what they sell,, but eBay has been flood with bad sellers they list stuff as new and when you get it its used, they have got smart on the shipping charges and over charge you on the shipping and the it cost you more to ship stuff back than its worth to them, the buyer protection is a joke, just don't take my word for it look at the new ebay Rules & policies just look at the sellers feedback before buying and make sure its a high number and its 97 or greater just a warning to all

Discriminatory and biased policies favoring overseas sellers who break and flaunt the rules constantly. Constant hassles with account violations, duplicate listings policy not enforced in China where they are listing millions of the item and not being cracked down upon, flagrant misuse of words in title headings on Chinese listings not being cracked down on. Not the place for sellers anymore.

It was my first order on ebay. Worst experience ever. I ordered a phone. I got no call, no notification nothing from ebay as well as the seller. Everytime I check my order, it says, not yet shipped. They made me wait three weeks. I kept on complaining, calling the customer service, everyone assuring me that it will soon be shipped. After waiting three weeks, I got a call from the seller (finally!) telling me it will take another 10 days, so told me to cancel it. Why the hell couldn't they tell me before so that I would make other arrangements. I lost my phone three weeks back and immediately ordered a new one on urgent basis since I just cannot do without one. And this is what i get. The Hassel of waiting for three weeks. And now this. Cancellation refund $#*!. I would like to give zero rating

I bought this Corolla dashboard cover.the sun melted it into my dashboard. That's how bad it looks in bout 6months. How do i get my dashboard fixed now? This product is going to damage more peoples dashboards...I'm really not happy bout this product...now i have more damage in shorter time then i would have in long run without it.Was so happy on my 2016 Corolla to make it nice.Then this product messed up my happiness

EBay is the BEST site for buying just about anything, but before you do it, check the ratings on that seller, read the description, return policy, etc... and buy/bid with confidence, knowing that EBay is behind every transaction.

They are forcing you to promote your item so you can get at least one person to see your item. Promote or else. To sell on eBay is not free. It's not like we don't pay to use it and then to add gasoline to the fire. The amount you pay at the end of the sale is unfair because they add the shipping into the total, not only does the buyer pay for it, so does the seller Why? I don't recall ebay helping me or the buyer pay for shipping.

I had an issue with a sellers product.
Now seller has my product and money.
Ebay refuses to get involved because the return was closed.
Other issues happened after the return was closed.
Ebay said they refuse to get involved in closed cases.
What do I do now that I have been scammed by a seller.

In trying to be proactive and resolve an issue the eBay customer service gave me the run around and could not resolve my issue. There was an error on the eBay side with a shipping label and could not and would not correct the issue. I received the run around, extremely inconvenient and frustrated with eBay service.

I decided to sell an item on eBay and the buyer asked to return it 28 days later right before their 30 return policy expired. Long story short the money was refunded and I ended up paying sellers fee and shipping which was close to 80 dollars that I lost. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and as you know they are completely useless because they get their money from these companies to a good rating. DO NOT SELL ON eBay or make business with them. They are liars and thieves.

Don't like pay fees at the end of the month cause I rather if they just take fees after sale not wait until it gets to big number sum and then am like wooa is this really fees but yeah also be careful when buying from argos on ebay. Because it's not actually argos that it's argos... well I don't actually care... not shopping on eBay

EBay is nice but too secure / strict. You can't even learn from your mistakes@ eBay. Goosh I was expelled as a novice from eBay, I never knew my way around it, and I don't think I will have another opportunity to.

It is a marketplace where you find all kinds of stuff at a very reasonable price a. Watch for rated sellers ask them questions if you are in doubt a. When it is used item watch which category you are buying in instead of buying used items it will be worth to buy new one for just a couple of dollars more in sale a. Most of the items that I purchase would be crafts, old sizzix dies, soaps etc.

I had the occasion on eBay where the product I received was not as described so I started a case through eBay.
The seller was very unresponsive. After opening the case the seller agreed for a refund after the item is returned.
I get an email from eBay saying that the "seller is unable to provide a shipping label" and I should contact the seller and return the item. I even called eBay's customer service to confirm it.
So the seller asks me to ship the item back and he will refund it.
The item is returned and seller is unresponsive. I contact eBay and they say in a very monotonous voice that they will step in and only refund me the original price and original shipping only but not return shipping as that is out of eBay.

How can it be out of eBay it was eBay who asked me to ship the item to the seller!

And nowhere in any emails from eBay did they ever mentioned that I should not pay for the return shipping.

Use this site all the time. I get rid of clothes that I no longer wear and was going to hand down or go to Goodwill anyway, I get store credit or a cash payout through paypal. And I've had great luck in finding wonderful deal on clothes that I couldn't normally afford, even from my local consignment store.

I see a lot of complaints about their buying, I have always been pleased. And the one time I wasn't I spent the 4.95 to have my clothing sent back. They are as used clothing store and you can get estimate of what they are paying by using their calculator. They have deals on their clothing, which means they don't pay top dollar on mine. I have always been right in-between the low/high estimate from the website. If I don't want to take what they pay, I don't send that in.

Very pleased and will shop here again.

Ebay is legit. You spend what you are willing to spend and thats all there is to it.if the bid goes more than expected, hey, nothing lost nothing gained. I use ebay alot and i usually buy "buy it now" items and ALWAYS find a fantastic deal

Ebay only makes money from Sellers. So when sellers rip you off or fraud or lie, Ebay will side with them on every appeal. They DO NOT guarantee anything. They say they do but when you try and collect they side with Seller. And if you think using PayPal helps, it does not. Paypal will side with EBAY on every decision they make, so you have NO RECOURSE. It is a big scam and I would not use unless you are prepared to get ripped off and take the loss. Too bad, it used to be a pretty good place, now they make Craigslist look like a safe place.

Purchased a desk floor mat on 04/06/2020, promised delivery date of 04/10/2020, live in Colorado, product arrived in Colorado on 04/09/2020, still waiting to receive product, today is 04/12/2020, promise delivery date is a farce, used only as a selling tool, how about some truth and reliasm.

They don't protect you at all as a seller. I prefer using Amazon. I sold a gown to someone on eBay. The person then requested a refund. I told them they need to return the gown but they didn't return it. EBay put the money on hold. So now I have no gown and no money. Everytime I contact them. They tell me nonsense

Ordered from photo on page! The product was not what was on site. I sent back per their request. It arrived on the day they said. They sent product back to me, say it did not arrive within time allotted. I have the tracking proof.
I learned they do not honor what they say!

I have been a customer of ebay for over 20 years. However, I will never purchase or sell from ebay EVER again. I sold a home gym on ebay and after a total loss on this gym, $1600 loss, due to damage while in transit, ebay continued to charge me $300 for a sellers fee, even after my $1600 loss. They would NOT drop the charge, giving me a new $1900 loss total. Very GREEDY and not compassionate for any of the negligence and money they cost me. They turned that $300 into collections for their free money
