A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

I would award ebay zero stars if there was an option. I sold an item via the post office and obtained a receipt as proof the customer claimed that they hadn't received the item. Automatically their payment was refunded back to them even though I had a receipt as proof. When I contacted the post office they confirmed it was sent. Now I have made a double loss. Loss of payment and the item which was worth more than what I sold it for. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed.

It was my first time using Ebay and it is my LAST time using Ebay. I purchased an $85 product off a company called "southflspa" who never sent me my item and who would not respond to my emails or Ebay's emails. This company did not use tracking on the item they were "supposed" to have sent me which is highly suspicious. I truly think they are a scam. I have used Amazon for fifteen years and have NEVER had a problem, then to come to Ebay and use them once which results in a massive headache trying to contact Customer Service, file claims, call over and over for a resolution... who needs that!? No thanks. I will never use Ebay again.

EBAY IS AWESOMEEE
I just love it.
I usually buy phone cases, gadgets, swimsuits, techsuits (for you competitive swimmers out there)
There are always some bad customers though...
But I love the prices I can find. Things like an Iphone otterbox case, I got for $10! It's originally at around what. $50 in stores? So this was a great find. Everything I bought so far has come in great condition, just the way the sellers depict it. I've even found an arena techsuit at $70 which was awesome from the original of around $150.

EBay staffs are so lazy and cheating. I sell my laptop on eBay but buyer cheats me. Buyer said the laptop was not good and want return and refund. I agreed. But after buyer got some money back he suddenly said he did not want return again. I told he if he liked my laptop, he needed cancelling his requirement of refund and return. But buyer disappeared. I immediately reported to eBay for help in 2nd day. But eBay staffs pretend working hard and asked me negotiated with buyer. With time passed, even eBay staff refund fully to buyer without noticing me. At end, eBay staff insisted on eBay gave me some money and the case closed. The buyer cheated my AU$400, eBay just gave back me AU$3.48. EBay is so bad.

Tip for consumers:
do not trust eBay, its staffs doing job just careless. eBay may be using AI machine doing chatting job which makes you feeling they look after you. But you lose time and at end you get nothing and feel holpless

Items purchased ($300 ish) and delivered to the incorrect address has taken over a week with still no refund. All steps taken with letting Ebay know it was shipped to the wrong address... reaching out to the seller... asking for the refund... providing evidence showing it was shipped to the wrong address... to only be denied by Ebay the refund. Just complete stupidity at this point. ITS THE WRONG ADDRESS... JUST CHECK THE DAM CREDIT CARD BILLING. Now I'm practically begging the seller and showing him the evidence daily praying for a refund. At this point its stolen funds with no items delivered.

As far as Ebay having any type of consumer protection for items purchased through their site... they are a 0 at best.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure that shipping address is absolutely correct all the way to Fed Ex or delivery company used. Otherwise any refund will take weeks. Ebay does not support is any of its consumers even if you do have all the evidence showing a delivery to the incorrect address.

I sold 8 items on ebay and cancelled one and I still got charged for selling 8 items. Ebay is a rip off. They charge outrageous prices to sell your stuff.don't do it people. There's alot of other places to sell on. I will never buy or sell on ebay again

I used to love this website, my goal was to be a top seller! I love buying and selling on the site! But I hate when the removed my selling items. They wouldn't even give me a legit reason for why they do so.

So overall I was looking up information of this all. And this has been happening to quite some people.
Its a pretty good site to purchase from, but to sell on, not so great anymore.

I loved business like my whole life, so I am looking for more sites where I can sell on. Or even purchase from!

And just planning to make my own website so I can have my own rules.

NO concern for customer experience unless it is profit; multiple poor reviewed sellers continue to sell and customer experience is not a concern. Latest experience is item not as described and no thought to my drive 25 miles to UPS terminal to return a BAKERS RACK, which is not a small item. Hello... the is the only reason I am shopping here is because I live rural. Taking the hit to return just so this seller and ebay does not profit on this sale. Good riddance to bad trash!

Ebay is not suitable for customers the website is old fashioned, sellers on ebay are big cheaters and refund policy of ebay is worst ever they cancel my refund because comment i put on refund form were not good they have much time to read our comment not refunding our money. custom.ers use ebay only one time and that is there first and last time because of disatisfaction

Sold an item on eBay for $27 (the item is worth about $75) The shipping was $114 15 which the buyer paid for. The sales tax was $11.64. These added up to $152.79 on which eBay calculated their fee of
$152.79 x12.9% = $19.71
So out of the $27 eBay took in fees $19.71 + $0.30 = $20.1
They made $20 and I got $7. They profited not me.
Also, they have automatic relisting so when you put your item up for auction it is difficult to remove it.

I have been an eBay customer for quite a few years (15 years as they keep telling me every time I call) now, probably decade. As a sparse buyer/seller.

In June 2021, I decided to sell a few items on the website. It's been 8 months and eBay still hasn't paid me. I have reached out to their customer service so many times since; probably a dozen times. And let me tell you, every single time, they ask you the same questions, you have to re-explain the whole story from the very beginning again. They then promise you to get back to you the next day and absolutely never does. I have reached out on the 20th this month, with a promise to hear back on the 21st and nobody called. I have reached out today, the 22nd, and they are now telling me it needs another 30-45 days to be resolved.

I would advise anyone wanting to sell online to avoid eBay at all cost. There are other platforms out there that will happily have you as a customer and treat you well.

They are scammers. I've had ebay for 10 years and DELETED MY ACCOUNT. I suggest you do the same before they scam you out of hundreds, if not more, money. I sent a package using their website for international first class and international first class does not have shipping to Mexico. Now my buyer said they did not receive the item and eBay cannot do anything except refund them with the money they gave me plus a $20 fee that they took. So now I've lost my item, I've lost the money I received plus an extra $20 from eBay and the post office will not accept the claim due to their policy, eBay also refuses to refund me. There is no buyer protection and if you are smart, he will try the millions other alternatives. I have already put in a case with BBB and my bank. I will get my money back!

I was a member of ebay for 17 years, 100 percent satisfaction record both as a seller and buyer. Recently I sold 2 items, Ebay then then said AFTER the sales that they were witholding the money for over 1 month as they had changed their terms of service and no longer pay with paypal ( they still accept paypal) I told them I wanted to cancel the sale as I was counting on the money for christmas- they promptly banned me from selling! Also they were going to charge over 150 dollars for a 780 dollar sale- Ebay has become a terrible business. My advice, don't trust them, don't use them, go to a cheaper and fairer way of selling!

Think twice while shopping from ebay.in.
Once you bought the product they will not take it return back
They have falsely mentioned 100% ebay guarantee and excellent return policy.
Once you buy the product then they ll give you lame excused of their claim policy.
And they have such a complicated return policy unlike Jabong, Myntra, Yebhi, Freecultr, zovi, flipkart, amazon, snapdeal and new site like feero fashion.
I have faced this issue myself.
When I try to return my product under assumption that ebay has worldwide brand name.
And they will have transparent return policy but I was wrong.
So people please think twice before doing shopping with ebay.

I have been selling on Ebay for more than 16 years. I'v always had a 100% rating. Ebay has become full of hateful people. Recently, I sold a lot of baseball cards. It was clearly written that the cards were used and not graded. It was purchased and afterwards the buyer made false claims that they were terribly damaged and even had the audacity to claim that they had food on them. Buyer for sure was opening package over a smorgasbored and too engulfed in their food to notice what they were doing. Buyer opens a return and quickly cancels and waits to leave negative feedback. This buyer has left negative feedback to other sellers. I have received postive feedback for sales of other cards and all my items. I complained to Ebay to no avail. It is clear Ebay offers no protection for this. It is a policy violation but Ebay outsourced all jobs overseas to employees that don't care about doing the right thing. Ebay and this dishonest customer should be ashamed.

EBay member since dec, 13 1998. Bret69 is my user name. Perfect feedback. Over 100 transactions. Last thing I sold, a $1000 lathe chuck, sold for $270 and a hold was placed on my funds for 1 month. EBay expected me to pay out of pocket to ship this heavy item across the country. I needed the funds from the sale to pay for shipping. I ended up refunding the money to the seller. I spent over an hour on the phone with them trying to get the $27 transaction fee reversed and was told the buyer had to initiate the cancellation of the transaction, which I have since learned is not true. I put a block on my bank account and now ebay is continually harassing me over non payment. They won't ever get a dime from me. DONT EVER TRY AND HOLD BRET TAYLORS MONEY!

Be warned that Ebay is no longer safe for purchases. I bought a filter from veryniceproducts aka. Potence and never received it, eventhough usp tracking information said otherwise.
When I reached out to ebay and the vendor, they said go door to door and to take it up with USPS.
They basically stole from me. Took money without delivering goods. This is eBay and Paypals new position now. So do yourself a favor and do your purchases on stores like Amazon and Walmart. You will get your product with them.

Ebay with the fabulous creation of the ebay money garantee policy completely and arbitrary displaces the protection towards sellers. This policy allows abusive buyers that receive items in pristine condition and then claim that they received them in defective condition therefore ebay favors buyers due to its non-competent policy. Fees are extremely high 10% and paypal also establishes its fees plus shipping cost. Terrible plataform has become lately. Ebay will lose new small bussiness over time.

Been customer of eBay for years and even though I gave them proof of not receiving item they still sided with seller and did not get refund their money back refund is a farce complained about seller never replying to his emails and although the item was returned without me knowing he has still not gave refund i have closed my account give eBay and chinabuycheap 2 a wide berth

EBay SUCKS! These imbeciles make it next to impossible to get issues resolved since they are too dam cheap to hire real people TO ANSWER CALLS!

Purchased a $1,700+ product on eBay and the item arrived damaged. Seller agreed to accept the return (provided photos of the damage, which really was the seller's fault for horrible packaging). EBay says I should receive the return shipping label by today (8/28/2020) and I have not heard back from the seller (his response when accepting the return was he was going to contact FedEx to file a damage claim, and would presumably then provide me with a return shipping label, which is unacceptable. I have a $1,700.00+ charge to my account and a destroyed cooktop I have no use for and eBay does everything they can to discourage the buyer from getting the issue resolved.

Ebay will never favor sellers and it is not a very fair site to sell on.
Buyers can and so (I know) claim an item is not as advertised. If you offer full refund including return shipping and they say no and continue their claim to ebay they DO AND WILL get to keep the item and receive a full refund from ebay.
Ebay will tell the seller that the buyer is returning the item but that is an out right lie.

If you appeal ebay will do absolutely nothing.
This happened to me again last week and no response from ebay after reporting the buyer and trying to appeal his claim.
Ebay is not bad most of the time but is not seller friendly so BEWARE.

Ordered a concealment clothes men's crew neck under cover shirt, holster shirt. WORTHLESS cannot hold firearm in place, slips right through hole? My husband cannot use it. Asked seller for refund and return label. Instead sent address in CHINA FOR US TO RETURN on our dime? Contacted eBay they didn't honor their own return policy?

Truly frustrated with original seller, the mere fact that he was passing bucket of useless item back to whom he himself bought from?

I have had bought something from huasharenmin2013 on ebay. He sent wrong color and after I contacted him, he said that he will send me new one. Two months passed and he never sent me anything. Each time, I contacted him he said wait for one more week, then he didn't reply back.The worst customer service!

EBay is a scam people, ebay rips sellers off, they promote scamming allow buyers to openly commit mail and bank fraud, eBay is actually assisting and helping scammers commit these crimes.
They are a joke at this point and deserve to be sued and shut down

Bought a iPhone as Excellent.
Screen had been replaced and not informed of that so TrueTone had been disabled by Apple by default. Phone was not excellent as advertised.
Sellers are allowed to use Fraudulent misleading Advertising practices. Then they closed the return window in 24 days not 30 and will not accept my return, Theives at ajn_store on EBay. EBay does not return a response ever.,.,
