Ebay sorted my problem in full and deserve 5 stars as they are fair in the end. Thank Mr Ebay. Please do stop such practices adopted by sellers as that will increase public confidence.
A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.
They will not let me give a company a bad review. I bought a Wii from super discount on eBay. The item was sent to the wrong person super discount was very rude the whole time. They lied to me said that there was never an estimated time when it would be delivered that eBay doesn't do that on anything. EBay and super discount said it was delivered to my door which was a big lie thank goodness I have good neighbors and brought it to me. I will not be shopping on eBay ever again and I do a lot of shopping online.
Oh yeah the fees are all in the fine print, but I'm not a professional eBay user. And I got blind sided. Out of a $160 sale and a listing that never sold I had $60 in fees.
To close my account I had to zero out my account, and after that I still have to wait 30 days. Called customer service, nice gal, but I should have $#*!ed first to get a reduction before paying. But I just wanted out of Ebay!
Ordered a reverse camera it arrived but was faulty, contacted enjoy24 and said they would replace it after 6 months and aprox 10 to 15 emails nothing, I paid 18 dollars for it and they offered 4 dollars back because they could not afford any more, they finally offered full refund if I sent item back as I did, it's been 2 months and now they say they did not receive it. L advise every body not to deal with them they are very untrustworthy and deceiving. The company sells on ebay as enjoy24hours

I ordered a shirt from Cyberteez and have tried emailing them to return a shirt for a different size and am getting no reply I even called the phone number and it just hangs up on you. What do I do at this point because I spent a lot of money on the shirt and am not very happy! Please email me at *******@gmail.com so I know how to handle this situation
Sold an iPhone 7 last month via eBay. On receipt the buyer said the home button wasn't working and asked to return (the home button was in working order). I asked them to check it was on as the iPhone 7 has a home button that only clicks when the phone is powered up.
The buyer didn't respond and instead just ignored me for the entire returns period.
I was told by eBay support to wait for them to return and then I'd have a chance to inspect the item to check if it was ok before a refund was issued.
The item got lost in the post but royal mail marked it as delivered. EBay refunded the buyer anyway (I was told I would have time to inspect it but the refund happened immediately when it was delivered).
Royal Mail has admitted fault but won't refund. Similarly, eBay are telling me to take it up with the buyer and are taking no responsibility.
I have spent hours on the phone with eBay and the Royal Mail, and have lost £300 too.
I don't buy often from ebay or have an account with it, I checked out as a guest.
Clicked "buy it now," (I wasn't bidding on it) paid for it, got a confirmation.
Then I get a message from ebay telling me my order was canceled.
Shortly after got a nasty message from ebay telling me that I was banned from ebay.
A couple of weeks later I received the item, which was fine, as was the seller's packaging.
So in spite of both buyer and seller being satisfied (I paid for the item and it was fine) ebay bans me so I can't buy anything else.
Awful way to stay in business.

got canceled for no reason

I have sold & bought on e-bay for going on 5 years now! Love ebay so much! The only catch is that you need to know how much the going rate is for the item you are looking for, because sometimes you can find GREAT deals and sometimes things are priced the same as at the deparment store (which is great for ppl who just like to shop online) but I use e-bay to find great items at a great deal!
As much as ebay is a very famous online store I have to say that it is the worst store that I have ever used. There are so many fake products on ebay that if you are not keen then you will end up buying quite a lot of them. Most of ht ethings are not even monitored and conent are all over the store. Buy only what you trust.
I just recently won an auction for a vintage Paul Revere whistling tea pot. It was a 6 cup size pot that was so cute. On both sides of the pot it had the Paul Revere signature. The bottom of the pot said 1801 made in Korea with the stamp of Paul Revers head on it. The bottom of the pot was made of chrome and copper clad bottom. This tea pot was so cute. The seller was so kind and sent all details about the pot. When it arrived it was almost in mint condition. There was just a small scratch on the top by the spout. The little tea pot is really cool. Things like this are only found on ebay. I lucked out getting such a nice item. They still have a few left but some are not in quite the same condition of the pot I won. I hope anyone who might want something vintage looks at ebay to find it. I will always love ebay
So.constantly finding I'm listing items on ebay auction,,They sell but the buyers don't follow through.Ebay you do t give a hoot about this as your ripping people off by keeping listing fees and or charging for relisting.Ebay you introduce buyers through your platform you could control this but you don't.Therefore it seems you don't care as your RIPPING PEOPLE OFF by taking the fees for listing or relisting when it's your bad management that allows this.
You I can on,y assume must be happy being crooks there's no other answer..

Don’t use ebay they rip you iff

Auction site selling a car
I purchase two time from ebay and they disappoint me both the time. First time after order they didn't deliver product and return money after some time. After that i again purchase a battery but still waiting for his delivery. Expected delivery date was 1 apr 2016 and today is 7th of April. While i track this order then found comment from dotzot client is not in address on 6th. I was in my home that day. God know how any one purchase from ebay.
Ebay really needs to step it up in protecting the buyers. They are quick to email you for a payment if an item's offer is accepted but VERY SLOW to make the seller respond or ship the item. The program should revise its wait time for a refund when a seller has been emailed about the item after it is 2 weeks late, then Ebay wants another week for the seller to "respond", 6 days later they have not, and my show car is waiting on 1 rim to be chromed that I cannot get from the seller or have Ebay refund the cost so I am able to find a legitimate seller. Then Ebay will just let the seller screw the next buyer as they do not penalize the seller until they have a TON of complaints.
I started an ebay store in my 20s. I was vary successful selling my used household items. I decided to step up and start a store. I used eBays seller program and was advised through eBay to a specific drop shipper I started using them because it was recommended from eBay. The drop shipper was a company out of China selling all kinds of goods. Come to find out listing the items from the recommended drop shipper got me a lifetime ban from selling on the platform. Because they were making counterfeit goods. Thanks eBay totally failed by your system. I recently tried to list and item that is new inbox. I know is authentic that I received at a company Christmas party even that to this day gets removed.
I ordered Security Lawn signs from Ebay and they never shipped. Ebay is second rate service compared to Amazon.
They would not communicate with me about the status of my order. Their resolution is that they refunded my purchase.
Tracking of purchase was not operateable.
Terrible customer service.
I will never order from Ebay
I ordered 5 bottles of prime hydration limited edition lemonade and when the product arrived instead of the bottles the scammer sent me photos of the product. I paid 580$ for photos of the product. I contacted EBay and they said you have to wait for the scammer to reply and the scammer supposedly doesn't accept returns. Eventually a couple weeks later I called back because I issued a chargeback with my credit card and asked EBay for proof that I was scammed but they refused to offer me any help and they said they don't take sides and I was not allowed to return the product because it was late. My credit card rejected my chargeback and EBay basically is a supporter of scam artists which is why you need to be careful on this site. The customer support is useless and can't help in any way.

We went to ebay.com to try to find a charging dock for a Dewalt cordless drill. What ebay tricked us into buying was an insurance policy on a laptop computer.
At one spot on the drill listing their was to be free shipping and on another spot for the same drill the shipping was ten dollars.
I picked the drill dock that was listed as free shipping and learned that we had purchased an insurance policy for a laptop computer.
Tip for consumers:
It didn't used to be like this but now I'd advise anyone going on ebay.com's website to be on the alert.
Ebay is allowing some bad actors to confuse we the customers by presenting an offering that is not what it's presenting itself to be.
We complained and asked for a refund of the money and got ZERO response from ebay.com as yet.

I got kicked off EBAY selling guitars to Europe. I shipped a guitar by boat and the buyer gave me a negative. I gave buyer a tracking number and he said i never shipped the guitar. He finally got the guitar and he emailed me and said the guitar was lovely. I shipped another guitar to Europe and the buyer told EBAY guitar was cut down and repaired. The guitar came from a reputable shop and was never touched. I was never able to contact EBAY, this is poor policy on there part. Can EBAY tell me how to contact them?
EBay permanently close my 15 year old account with 1866 purchase because I returned some items that was counterfeit. One seller claimed it was real when I had reasonable proof it was fake and made an appeal and eBay took his side. They said I was taking advantage of the return policy as I returned a item that was stated "no as describe" which seller claims it was "as describe". First of all, I have a authentication certificate from Legit Grails that state the item is FAKE. Second, EBay prohibite counterfeit items and they took blindly the sellers side without even looking at my proof of counterfeit. I purchased Chanel purses for around 1000$ to 4000$ and I've received 4 times counterfeit WITH proof of authentication of counterfeit. I called maybe 10 times and no one resolved anything and each tell me a different story,
Sold an engagement ring, and paid extra postage to ship to buyer. Buyer upon receipt said was listed as wrong size when it wasnt. Ebay accepted their return request. I challeneged the case and they agreed to leave me with the funds and the buyer kept the ring. At the same time I lost money on postafe and listing fees. I would have rather had the ring back. Been with ebay for over 20 years. This is not the first time they have overtunred a decison that was not fair. Will never sell anything with ebay again!
I have been an Ebay seller for years... Sellers used to have a say in how they wanted to run their business and now it is sad to say that Ebay supports the buyers only. Sellers pay to list, pay to sell, pay to collect the funds, pay for unauthorized returns and the sellers have no support from Ebay. That's right Ebay, the sellers are your customer, not the buyer - because buyers pay you NOTHING... You may want to consider revising your business plan Ebay, because the sellers are tried of supporting this buyer scam you have enabled. Ebay, Account Closed!
Be very careful when dealing with ebay sellers who sell " Microsoft refurbished computers ". There is a scam going around where sleazy sellers sell computers that are in good working condition for a very short time. When you contact these sellers about repairs they will tell you that you don't have to return the computer for repairs they will have their " technicians " contact you and they will go into your computer to fix any problems. THIS IS A SCAM! Don't be fooled by the seller's good feedback! They pick and choose their victim. They keep their victims low to maintain their " Good Feedback ". One seller in question? He's located in Chino Hills, California. EBAY seller name is FORTWAYNE 2010. Think twice about dealing with this seller!
Rarely is there an issue using eBay or gumtree. If there is ever an issue with a seller, they are so quick to help you fix the issues
Being an eBayer for some years and will continue to be for years to come.
I like Ebay so much!

EBay can't protect you. They rather charge you a fees to list and sell your items rather than invest in better cyber security to thwart scams. See I recently listed an Apple Watch and received the emails from eBay and PayPal that my item sold and was paid. After calling both to confirm, I shipped only to find out two days later that it was a scam. The $315 I stood to make was not real and my watch was gone.
Rather than admit their wrong eBay repeatedly suggested I contact the USPS to stop shipments (2 days later of a Priority Package). Needless to say they didn't offer me anything for my misfortune. If this happens so much why haven't you found a
Mitigation for this?
They can't protect you if you haven't sold 25 or more packages. I can't do business w/ nor communicate w/ billion dollar company that can't protect my interest.

I own a car dealership in ohio and i purchased two sets of headlights for a g35 coupe. When i received the box it only had 1 set of headlights in it. The seller wouldnt return any of my calls and
I tried to get ebay to step in and they wouldnt do anything either. It took them 10min to tell me were looking into it and then sorry we cant help. Be aware if you order more than one item you will get no response from the seller and good luck getting your money back. So i paid $599.90 for a set of
