Ebay sorted my problem in full and deserve 5 stars as they are fair in the end. Thank Mr Ebay. Please do stop such practices adopted by sellers as that will increase public confidence.
A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.
Convenient, fast, cheap. All this is eBay! What could be better?
Very useful site, I often buy everything for home here. And I am lucky, I've met only good sellers
I am so happy with my experience on ebay, always able to find a great deal on items im looking for and have even been successful in selling some of my old stuff! Would highly recommend
Don't do too much listing or you will be thrown out for "suspicious security activity". Pardon me, but I thought the purpose of ebay was to connect seller and buyer.
THEN THEY Don't CARE TO REPLY OR ANSWER ANY UNSOLVED ISSUE

I recently tried out AliExpress.com This site made me realize how great Ebay is. They protect the buyer and seller. Paypal is safe means of purchasing. Go here never try Ali
Ive never had an issue with this service and most items are free shipping if you dont mind waiting a little longer so its great when im strapped on cash and can only spend the amount for the item
Its a really great site...
I always use this one for electronics items. Here easily find out many of deals on products and i which we can choose best offers.
This is definitely the most user-friendly site.
There are a lot of relevant offers, prices for every taste, I am definitely satisfied with everything.
EBay customer service is always helpful in solving issues. I have made plenty of purchases from very professional sellers that have been willing to resolve any misunderstanding.
I used to follow ebay in the past a lot, but lately they are definitely behind of Amazon. I find better deals on another website and stopped buying anything from them last 2 years.
Ebay is one of this shopping sites online that i use so much.
I just like to spend hours looking, and you always find something great and very special. They are the BEST.!
Worst Online store in India. Order a UK 8 Flip flop and looks like UK 10. And when I contacted ebay about this they rejected my request you replace it also. Never shop with these frauds.
If the buyer is unhappy weeks later - Paypal will still issue a refund. I have been using ebay for over 10 years and I simply cannot sell on here any longer.
They intentionally make it impossible to contact any type of customer service representatives. For such a big company they are ridiculously bad in this area.
Here, too, there are cases of fraud, after all, any person can register here - so I advise you to be careful.
But on the other hand, this is a truly modern solution, and it deserves attention.
This the best website I have experience to buy some stuff.its cheapest price make me crazy, especially its delivery, more quickly than other shopping website
Don't trust eBay's as a seller, buyers are scammed mars and that money will take your items down but you'll never see it. Useless waste of time company that has zero protection for sellers.
They are liars and crooks. They have zero shred of integrity. Use any other website besides ebay if you want to sell or buy anything. I'd sooner shop for Satan himself than ebay.
After a recent bad experience with Ebay I decided to do a little research on what was once a great marketplace. First, Ebay only holds 3.5% of all ecommerce trade and it has been losing its share of the market. However revenue has been going up. How's this possible? By increasing it's rates and holding seller's monies for a few days before disbursement. You would absolutely amazed at how much interest can be made on several millions even if it's only a few days. The amount of money invested remains the same even though the "lenders/sellers" change. Ebay also has a problem if money has to be returned. That means they lose as well. I know of a power seller, 100% feedback on over 5,000 transactions, that had 9 returns in one year, however Ebay restricted listings and sales for an indeterminate amount of time. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. There are competitive, ethical markets out there other than Ebay. This is not new, but Ebay STRONGLY favors the buyer rather than much, if any, consideration for the seller. This was my experience and for what it's worth, I've closed all of my listings and will not post on this site ever again. Good luck if you're still listing with Ebay.

" YES IT DOES NOT GET WORSE THAN THIS STAY AWAY" BEEN A SELLER ON EBAY FOR OVER A DECADE! CLOSED MY ACCOUNT DUE TO THE "BUYER PROTECTION" POLICY. Just like CSI (customer satisfaction index) in the automotive field the buyer now has the seller by the short hairs and knows it!
NO matter how honest & detailed your description is, volume of pictures showing defects with notes, and EVEN under grading your product... YOU still get bashed with NO recourse! AND to make matter even MUCH worse this year I saw a trend. I received a problem with a slow buyer not paying and gave him some slack to pay, when he received the item and did not like it (I always offer a 100% Money back guarantee) he refused to return it, got his money back from EBAY and slammed ME. Soon after it was a domino effect on all my items, thus shut me down from selling.
Anyone out there who would like to refine Ebay's business model to conform to todays seller's market? Count ME in!
Ebay has a lot of great products. Very easy to get assistance if you needed one, I even got a call from their representative when I had problems updating my account. =)
I won't order anything from this website, they have most horrible customer service I've ever experienced. Quality? It sucks, I was waiting for my order more than a month... I'm really disappointed!
The process is somewhat cumbersome and not intuitive. I won a car on eBay and was directed to pay by wire transfer or escrow.com did not see a PayPal choice ( much easier) so I went ahead and went through the process. They charged 174.25 USD to delay, confound and confuse both parties. I paid via ACH transfer to them and you would assume that within minutes they would have the funds. I have bought and sold millions of dollars of vehicles with far less interference and obfuscation. Further as soon as I organized the payment I secured transportation which arrived within hours of my "escrowed" payment and justifiably the seller would not release the car because he could not get verification so now the transporter is pissed. This company is a nightmare and of course all customer service reps are overseas somewhere, not really empowered or helpful for anything other than helping you navigate their process. Really never use eBay again to purchase anything of significant value outside my geographic area.
I made several orders from ebay, but was hardly satisfied with the products or delivery. Delayed delivery, broken package, almost no customer service.
I have been with eBay since 2005 and it's now that I'm not happy with the changes in terms of how a seller gets paid, the wait time is a bit much so no more paid at end of sale and you receive your money in your PayPal account. Not sure why they decided to do these changes but I won't be selling anything anymore on eBay will try other businesses
Also they are charging more than before and if you have any problem you're on your own! There's no one to help you out. This online store should be close! Ebay became completely SCAM! PLEASE PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!
I am both seller and buyer. From both ends: buyers are way better protected than the sellers and there is a lot of room for a scam no matter how genuine seller you are. For other buyers: if your item came as not described, you can always start a case with eBay and most likely it will be decided in your favour. So there is no need to leave negative reviews - I guess many people who did that just don't know about these features. If the case is decided in your favour, you will be fully refunded and seller forced to accept return and charged full amount.
However, it does not work the other way round. In general, sellers are way more exposed than buyers - we can't even start a case against dishonest buyer and by default the buyer is always right. I've had few issues already despite being super transparent in my descriptions, posting high res photos of actual items + packaging, sending them exactly as described and my items are not cheap (1000+). And every time I am thinking - what will the buyer complain about this time?
The good thing about eBay is very accessible customer support: you can email, call and chat. However, the outcome really depends on the competency of the person sitting at the other end and they are not always trained to help you solve cases which are even moderately complex. I'd expect better service and better protection for the fees eBay charges you off every sale.
Still they are way better than Etsy and other selling websites although there is a lot of work to be done to make it really safe trading environment.
