Ebay sorted my problem in full and deserve 5 stars as they are fair in the end. Thank Mr Ebay. Please do stop such practices adopted by sellers as that will increase public confidence.
A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.
Great site and quality customer service. I've had some minor issues with a couple orders but they where replaced or I was refunded without any problems or further issues.
EBay used to be good, now 0 stars, what advisors they have they disconnect the call as the don't have an answer, rude, no wonder the future is coming as robots maybe better
I hate eBay soo much they tried to charge me money for no reason then they suspended my account and on top of that theres no guarantee that what you buy is not a scam.
Used to be great, but now it's HORRIBLE! Fees have gone through the roof, and if you have a problem, good luck! I don't use them at all anymore, and am now sticking with Amazon.com
I have been left out of pocket by Ebay. I sold items, paid for postage and packaging and ebay got there monthly fee from my account. Whereas I didnt get a single penny because I was a new seller and according to paypal my email was unconfirmed. I wated alot of time with both ebay and paypal to resolve my issue, but they sent me automatic email saying bull$#*! I alreafy have read on there websites (which were not helpful in my case). Ebay said they are helpless to do anything. I mean whose responsibilty is it to check and confirm an email address (which is perfectly function for all the other communications)?
This site is great! I have ordered twice now and the clothes are in perfect condition. Some of my items did not fit right and the return process was so simple. I highly recommend them.
No place else has as many buyers, but I have hated selling on ebay and refuse to do it after 15 years. Rip off to seller, no protection against buyers that want things for free
I was a little bit unsure about this website at the moment of getting an iPad but the device result to be as described and now 5 month later the ipad keeps working super great
The app is amazing and has helped me get many sports card items and more. There is much cheaper stuff there than in a store. I bought nba 2k22 for $20 when it costed 60$

Bid with caution

Sellers are becoming increasingly bolder with their scam attempts. Others are just plain lazy and not concerned with the punctuality of their shipment. In some cases it's appears as though the seller will try and wait until the buyer "forgets" about the order or becomes so exasperated with waiting or attempting to receive a refund that they just give up. I recently had to have eBay step in and resolve an issue with a very feeble 'bait n' switch' attempt over a $145 where the seller basically tried to unload a piece of junk on me. An N scale locomotive that didn't even run that he claimed "ran perfectly", did not have the proper DCC decoder installed and didn't come in the case that was shown. Pic shows old DCC decoder that was not supposed to be installed. Seller had a couple of bad reviews with accounts of the exact same scam attempt. That tells me eBay is doing very little to restrict offending sellers. Be VERY careful and read the negative reviews if the seller has any. Also, try to avoid second hand items from home sellers and items from sellers who don't actually own physical storefronts.
Tip for consumers:
Be very selective of sellers.
I have used eBay for a long time. It used to be really simple to use. It was a great way to get rid of unneeded stuff around the house. But not only did it get more complex - and correspondingly harder to use - over time, it also just plain doesn't work as well. I use Mozilla Firefox, and I dare anyone to print an eBay return label from it - if you succeed, you're more technically savvy that I am, and I'm an engineer. I finally gave up and printed it from Chrome. It's not like there are dozens of browsers out there; asking eBay to support Firefox is hardly unreasonable.
[2021 Update] My review from a couple of years ago seems quaint! Since then, I have figured out just how high their fees are: I sold a video card for $250. My buyer in Georgia paid $268 due to sales tax. I netted $217. My buyer paid 23% more than I got!
Secondly: When you can't sell "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street" by Dr. Seuss on eBay (see screenshot) because it's too offensive, it's time to find a new place to sell.
Tip for consumers:
Use Firefox!

I recently bought two "Pomodoro" (tomato) timers from two different sellers.
EBay allows sellers to steal your money! I bought a part for my car and when I tried to log into my account to return it, eBay says my account doesn't exist! I tried calling them 8 times, all of them are idiots! Didn't know what they were doing and kept asking me the same question over and over again. I told you I need to return an expensive item & I can't log into my account, help me! "You can't get into your account?" They asked me 4 times and the woman got my phone number wrong & name wrong throughout the hour and a half I was on the phone with her, going in circles. After 3 DAYS of calling I was finally able to ship the product back. I'm still not able to log into my account. My return was supposed to be delivered but turns out they REFUSED my return to their warehouse. Don't know how! Shady business practices that eBay allows. I wonder how many other buyers they rip off. This seller had over 50,000 reviews so they know what they are doing. EBay is dangerous and can scam you out of your hard earned money! Stick to Amazon or some other place. Anywhere but eBay!
I've never had any problem with any of my orders but always remember to pick sellers with good reputation, read the reviews and use paypal as payment method.
Ordered an afghan they said was in good condition, arrived with two gaping holes. People like this should not be allowed on ebay. Sad they lie to people.
I purchased outright a wallet from Central_Housemarket (seller). Within 24 hrs I had an amail stating the item has damage and they cant sell it. Meanwhile, he offered 2 other options for a replacement. Bth those oprions can be bought anywhere else online for about half the price, I paid.
I really feel he is flim-flaming the public with this fraudulent activity.
I said No and requested the refund. It has been 2 weeks and many excuses later - no action.
This seller is obviously not an honest one. But even filing a complaint with EBAY brought me no results. I protested the charge.
Will not deal ever again with EBAY, have to say.
O and the item is (once again) being advertised for sale:
Buxton Womens Leather 3 In 1 Thin Credit Card Case Wallet Change Purse Id #*******683
It is more than 3 months and i never got refund or even reply from ebay. Stupid company. I would personally recommend amazon or any other ecommerce site that is good at accepting responsibilities...
Sent a plastic item back to seller listed as carved wood -- never got my money back and the tracking number disappeared into space -- not one of four calls and lots of emails did I get any help - the seller has the item back plus my 70 bucks and ebay has closed the case and denied my appeal - I do not understand this situation - I did everything I needed to do and was completely ignored and rejected -- not very consumer friendly
I've maintained a 100% rating for EIGHTEEN years, recently sold an item - the buyer has it in their possession, but because I apparently don't sell often enough, my money is being held. I called and explained to the person that barely spoke English that I'm not a 'new seller' after EIGHTEEN years but they just repeat gibberish about 'appreciating it' but they will hold the funds anyway. I will no longer accept PayPal and have my money held hostage. Sellers beware.
I have never had a problem with ebay items, if an item never arrives I always get my money back. Sellers like the reviews and your business so they are always quick to help.
I have been a happy eBay user since 1999 with no problems. A few months ago, I sold an item for $30. The buyer paid promptly and I shipped it. No problem UNTIL I started getting emails from eBay that they are no longer using PayPal, which worked seamlessly, and that I had to update my banking info. I bank with Bank of America and their site would not accept the routing number. After a trip to the bank and countless hours with Customer Service, the truth came out today. EBAY DOES NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BANK OF AMERICA IN GEORGIA! How many other states, I have no idea. So, unless I open an account with another bank and hope that they will accept their routing number ("we accept most banks, but I can't tell you which ones", there is no way to get my money. They can't mail me a check, they don't use any cash pay options. Nothing. I am furious to think that I have now made a donation to eBay. How would anyone expect anything this stupid?
I have bought from ebay for 10 years and have had very little problems as a buyer. That being said i rarely purchase name brand or jewelry as there are so many fakes out there. Reviews can be really helpful and i always check a sellers review before purchase. I love ebay because you can find just about anything from the past. Toys you remember having as a kid you can almost bet to find someone selling it on ebay. The antique category is really fun also. I sell sometimes on ebay and i do not like how they almost force you to sell with the best offer choice. I will click to remove the option but ebay will change it back if my item is relisted and then buyers send me offers! Very annoying. Also had problems with buyers bidding and not paying, you cannot leave them negative feedback and ebay does not penalize them. It takes days to relist your item as you have to go through the proper channels and its a waste of time for the seller. I no longer have my items up for bid. So i enjoy shopping there much more
Ebay is by far the best auction site for many items on the web. I have been a member for several years. Over time, you learn how to avoid the bad sellers. As has been indicated, the feedback listings are a good way to avoid sellers you don't want to buy from. A few hints on making sure you always get your stuff quickly: Look for sellers with 100% positive feedback. This really isn't that hard on most items, I have found. READ the feedback. A lot of times people will provide a positive or neutral feedback for a seller who is somewhat sluggish in getting stuff shipped. I hate slow shipping, even when the item is sent within a day of you winning the bid. When buying a video game system, be careful. The best option is usually to buy from a seller who has an ebay shop and seems to have a rather large professional looking ebay listing. These sellers tend to sell hundreds of units and are generally the most reliable sellers of new items like this and used items.
Finally, ALWAYS use Paypal. If a seller does not accept paypal, something is up. It is the simplest and easiest method of paying for an auction won on ebay. It also has a very good dispute resolution process in case an item you pay for is never delivered. The fact that Paypal is owned by ebay makes it even better.
So simply put, avoid sellers with slow shipping, regardless of feedback... it can be deceptive, buy certain items from sellers with good looking listings, and finally ALWAYS use paypal to pay for your purchases.
I ordered a fitrist pulzz watch refurbished.
It mentioned it's 100% working.
And also eBay claim etc etc etc.
When I received item touch not working at all.
I tried to contact eBay and seller.
Seller said claim in eBay or service.
Ebay saying no claim possible only service which I need to do my self. So worst senario.
I have been buying hundreds of dollars off ebay every month, but this seller diamondgirls*inc is the reason I wl never buy from ebay.com ever again, I bought my therapy dog a parka and snow pants from diamondgirls*inc only to find out they won't send me a return label to send back the wrong size even though according their size chart an extrasolar should fit my dog oy to find out we can't even get the parka or snow pants on him he needed a medium size now because of this seller I can't afford to buy my dog the correct size, I am a disabled veteran that lives on a fixed income, the seller was very rude I explained I hadn't even taken the tags off but this seller being as rude as they are offered no help for me.
