A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

of course it depends on the ebay seller, where you are buying from but ebay is doing a great job regarding customer support. the help quickly and are very efficient when you have a problem

Goods between UK and Ireland attract no duty charges if under €150 yet ebay charges import/customs fees on all transaction, illegal profiteering that needs investigated

I read some reviews before using them, and had a mostly positive experience with them. I sent in a bag with a few items new with tag or new without tag, with a few things I knew were not going to be accepted. The 3 new pieces did get accepted and I was paid 8 dollars for them.

I then immediately bought three items from them. One was a good quality cashmere sweater, with the 40% off first time coupon, I got it for 20+ dollars. It was in very good condition. I also bought 2 Abercrombie Fitch tops, new with tag, for 6 dollars after discount. Good value!

Since then I've been checking the site for some more cashmere sweaters and dresses. I was surprised to find that their prices have increased so much! They are selling everyday brands at 30 to 50% of their valuated price, which would be the same you pay to get new items, because these brands have year-round promotions of 40% off and not to mention sale items. Why would I ever buy used clothing if I can get new ones with the same price? I will no shop there unless they drop their prices to a reasonable range.

LOYALMEHR_ BOUGHT WALKIE TALKIE RADIOS FROM THIS LOT AND NEVER AGAIN, THEY CHARGED ME AN EXTRA 36 ON TOP OF THE ASKING PRICE AND IT TOOK AN EXTRA 3 WEEKS TO ARRIVE, THEY STATE THEY ARE A UK COMPANY BUT WHEN YOU GOOGLE THEM THEY ARE A CRAPPY LITTLE CHINESE COMPANY WITH POOR REVIEWS TO SAY THE LEAST, IF YOU COME ACROSS THIS LOT STEER CLEAR, AVOID AVOID.

I have been a loyal Ebay customer for 5 years. That is the first thing Ebay says after I finally make contact with a human at customer service. What I have come across will wake you to what occurs when a damage claim is filed. It will shock you to find out they are not there to expedite your claim or give you any assistance.

You are relegated to a robotic A-i chat or if you type in AGENT into the box a robotic-human agent in Guatemala, Columbia or the Philippines will answer. They will read a script that is repeated every phone call you will make. They say they are sorry and take down your information. They each read the same story of your calls while you wait them to come up to speed. NO ONE is able to help.

Its a ruse and a way to dampen your energy and eventually shut you down. I have a 7K bike sitting damaged by UPS Bike Flights in a garage in California that a buyer cannot get UPS to come and deliver it back to me. Ebay says they cannot do anything that I the sender must now pay for my shipping back while the buyer is now into the third week with his money tied up with Pay Pal unable to get it back.

An insider that asked to remain anonymous says the Pay Pal refund can take up to 90 days. This is buyer who paid up front without having the Bike in their hands. It arrived damaged by UPS Bike Flights (they are a whole different story I have yet to review) and now he must wait to get refunded up to 90 days? This fiasco is playing out I suspect all over the Ebay platform as buyers and sellers deal with a system that is broke intentionally. If this changes I will write a follow up Review

Buyer Beware, they only worry about there own bottom line, they don't care about anyone that is not helping pay there bills, ie: seller's screwing the buyer for shipping fee's and ebay side's with them because they pay more in fee's as seller's.

They don't even stand behind there own policy of the seller pays when something is defective, but they don't tell you, that you have to contact them first, wt#@%* is that, very poor customer service, the guy wouldn't even let me speak to his supervisor, nice way to do business don't ya think I was a ebay-er since 1999, what a way to treat your customer's, If you use ebay, just remember, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU, if you have a problem with an item you purchased

When it comes to returns they are worst ever not only can you not get ahold of them by phone they make that impossible after weeks of finally getting the return started the label they tried to send kept saying there is a technical problem try back later so I was never able to get the label so I sent it back using the return address and included the return number they had provided plus cost me 14 dollars to send it back so I could get a refund which of course did not get so basically I got ripped off and will never ever shop from eBay again, sad because I do a lot of shopping online but will stay with Amazon they are so good with purchasing and returns, eBay is horrible

Radiatormaster-globalization delivers all the customer service that its name suggests. I ordered a specific tool box from them for the front of my trailer and they sent one that was too big to fit. After multiple emails they agreed to allow me to return it (how kind of them). I was then informed that the one I ordered was no longer available. I accepted their offer of a smaller, less expensive box on the understanding that I would be reimbursed the difference ($40.00) that I had paid for the original box. Now months have passed and in multiple emails I was assured that my partial refund would be issued. This has not happened. My experience with this company began with their incompetence and has ended with their dishonesty. I really don't have any more time to invest in trying to reclaim $40.00, so I leave this review.
I have operated a mobile power washing business for 23 years. If I treated my customers this way, I would no longer have a business. I will no longer purchase anything from a company that offers no way to speak to a representative on the phone and has no physical address. Lesson learned

Tip for consumers:
If purchasing on ebay ALWAYS log in. NEVER just check out as a guest or you can't leave feedback or even get a receipt.

Great site! You just need to be aware of fakes and look at the seller's rating :) i have bought plenty of things from here from hard to find scarves to clothing!

Ebay is good site for buyers, but very bad for the SELLERS. Too many formalities and lots of unwanted restrictions. Charges on the seller is VERY, VERY HIGH. I just migrated to Amazon.com. They look more transparent and reasonable. They give much freedom to the seller and also have very good reputation than ebay. Ebay looks as if it got sold out to paypal. Both of them handle things and make a lot of money. PURELY BUSENESS, JUST LIKE A BUTCHER SHOP. NO MORAL VALUES. They restrict the seller, by giving "SELLING LIMITS/ PER MONTH". They ask sellers to call them and BEG them for INCREASING THE SELLING LIMITS. They think that they are next to the Great president "Barack Obama", hence they treat the sellers low. How ever amazon has on great drawback. It will not give an opportunity to display photos of the actual products, to attract the buyers. This restriction on amazon sucks the buyers. IF AMAZON ACCEPTS THE PUBLISHING OF PHOTOS ON THEIR WEB SIT, E-BAY WILL BE NO WHERE ON THE GLOBE.

You will either receive great fast service or buy off a scam seller read everything carefully before you buy. If a deal seems to good to be true... it probably is.

Ebay charged me 10% plus paypal charged 3%. They are very sneaky about hiding the fact that there are fees until you close the deal and then find out. Ebay sucks.

EBay is only worried about the buyer and not the seller! As a seller, I have had many issues with buyers, not paying, asking for a refund and then never sending the item back, etc. Even though buyers can mess up as well, as a seller, you are not able to give a negative review to the buyer like they are to you as a seller. It is not okay. I have been treated like trash by ebay and their customer service over and over again. Not sure why i continue to sell on there but I am done this time.

Here are a list of negative experiences I have had on ebay just off the top of my head:
- unfair case results (many times)
- not being able to cancel or void a shipping label
- a buyer asking for a refund and a full return and i gave them their money back and they never returned the item. You know what ebay did about this? NOTHING! I contacted customer service many times and they didnt even take the time to respond to my messages.

Those are just a few of the times ebay has shown how awful their company is.

Coming from someone who has sold for many years on ebay, go somewhere else. Do your research and sell your items on a different website! I hate ebay and i am taking my business elsewhere

If you deal with a bad seller and eBay will not help - they never do - you can submit a complaint about the particular seller here: https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/splash.aspx

EBay's "buyer protection" is a scam and covers nothing.

Sellers know how to work the system, and when you do not receive your item, eBay will side with them. My seller kept the item in question AND my payment for said item.

Feedback is a scam. EBay does not allow negative feedback on sellers. The five-star review you see is probably helped along quite a bit by the 5,000 negative reviews that eBay removed. This works directly against the possibility of honest business transactions.

Keeping money for a sale when the customer did not receive the item is internet fraud. This is a crime. Report the specific seller and report eBay for their collaboration. Be brief, specific, and submit supporting documents.

Avoid eBay at all costs. Close your account. Consumers have other options. Before you do this, though, submit a complaint. It may hep you and it will potentially protect others.

I bought shampoo for my wife. I waited over a month and a half nothing. I contacted them and they said they will give me a refund. Ha ha! I will have to figure out a way to get the money back. ALL THE SELLERS HAVE GOOD to GREAT REVIEWS BECAUSE people can not leave a review after a refund been issued

Well I am very disappointed in eBay personally. Years back I was both a buyer on eBay and when I sold my one home sold hundreds of items on eBay because I collected certain things. I recently sold my other home and have a lot of items to sell. Out of hundreds I had two buyers who failed to read the ad on an item they bought and was not happy. When I pointed out the ad they both admitted their mistake. I would have been at 100% with A+ responses from hundreds of buyers. Now I go to my old account and I start selling items I no longer needed at my new home. Within 3 items I hit a limit. "A Limit"? I never had a limit before. It looks like I have to earn the right to do business with eBay. Well it appears eBay puts a limit on sellers until they "prove themselves". I am a person of honor and proved myself past I feel. So here I set with hundreds of items and no place to sell them, and have to look elsewhere. So I guess eBay does not need my commissions. They lost my respect, and pretty much said my past performance means nothing to them. I will find other means to sell my antiques and collections. It is not as if their fees are cheap to begin with.

Tip for consumers:
If you have over $1,500.00 worth of items to sell forget eBay and move on. They do not appreciate you as a customer. They want you to kiss their butt to do business with them.

I had a positive feedback for this website but be sure you pay with PayPal account because eBay money back guarantee is only for 30 days. So always use PayPal, you can claim back even after 160 days

I have dealt with ebay ony 3 times. The 1st time, I was not delivered an item on COD saying that my area doesnot fall under the COD whereas I received mails from ebay promoting COD. I almost forgot the issue but I had to forward the case to the ebay consumer court, which seemed to favor ebay.

The 2nd time, last month, I bought an Antivirus (Bitdefender) but the License key was already in use, which I confirmed from Bitdefender. I raised a Guarantee Claim and I agreed to accept EBay coupon like a FOOL.

Lastly, recently, I was surfing for some products and come across Night Vision Goggles. The Seller sent me an ordinary white goggles, worth 50-100 bucks in the local market. I had to raise Guarantee Claim again, which is being refunded no, ofcourse not in the form of ebay coupons.

Overall, my feedback is completely negative and my last transaction with ebay.

Tip for consumers:
Be Careful in your online purchase.
Take time to acknowledge the receipt of the product.
Provide your feedback only after you are satisfied with your product.

They have everything and sometimes cheaper then even amazon. I like it better but shipping can take minths sometimes you have to pay attention when ordering ti the shipping date

Shipping is free for most if it alot of it cones from china so expect cheap made items shipping can take up to 3+ months mostly

I've had my eBay account for 22 years. I recently in the last year or so started heavy selling. So they had my bank information account number routing number things like that. Somebody has accessed my bank account two times for fraud. Since eBay is the only company that has that type of information I contacted eBay and told them I wanted my bank account information deleted from my account. The man copped an attitude. Very difficult to understand cuz they don't speak my language. But he closed my account. He said the only way to delete the banking information would be to wipe out the entire account. 22 years! So I said if that's the only way to do it I guess we have to close my account. So afterwards I called my bank and asked about it and they said they could have just deleted them off of my account and there would be no reason to close my account. So I called back eBay again spoke to a second person that doesn't necessarily speak proficient English and they also cop an attitude with me about this. So the account is going to be closed. And the fact that they're so willing to close the account without giving me proper information tells me they know what the issue was. They know they've been hacked. And everybody's Bank information is probably going to be at risk. Stay away from eBay the products have gone down the drain. I've had many products break within the warranty and it's just not worth the hassle or the expense or the shipping to get a refund or a new product. So there's way more places to purchase online that actually care about customers!. You've been warned.

Contacted seller, got several offers to accept at reduced price, declined offers, I had to pay return shipping with promise of refund, Shipped back 11-16-22, still not delivered as of 1-8-23. Refusing to refund return shipping. EBay did refund cost of item. Seller's name: CUCKOOCLUBS
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS THIEF.

Tip for consumers:
If seller is responsible for return shipping, under NO circumstances pay shipping yourself. Although eBay came through with refund for the product, $44.75 in shipping costs were still their seller’s responsibility and it should be eBay’s responsibility because they approve these sellers. Also, because their website is deceptive when offering help.

I bought something off eBay all I got part of an order and it was wrong send it back to the seller and eBay and the seller kept my money nothing but a bunch of crooks like dealing with the mob so I am not going to order any more off eBay this is the second time I have been taken off eBay totally Crooks

After my items have gone up for sale I already pay eBay fees and now PayPal are taking after the sale of my 11 items this was a lot of money being charged twice for my transactions I will not be selling on eBay in the future to be robbed of money for my goods bring on the used sites that are free to sell
