“Ebay did not honor guarantee”

A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

Beware sellers from selling on ebay the customer service does not help with solving your issues. Ebay makes the situation worse on their favor.

Shopping in Ebay is too good. Good products. But returning policy is bad and talking about shipping some of the breakable products are breaked.

EBAY NOT NOT BE ALLOWED CONTINIUS OPERATE IN USA!

I PURCHASE A TV IN EBAY AND GOT BROKEND (THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE USELESS (ONLY SAY WAIT AND CALL PAY PAL)

I HAD TO SCALATE TO THEN FOR A REFUND (HOW THEY ADD MONEY IS WARRANTY) AFTER 12 DAYS WITH AND SEVERAL CALL THEY ONLY SAY NEED T PAY FOR THE SHIPPING AND WAIT, EVENT I RECOVERY FOR A SERGURY... STILL MY MONEY IS IN THE AIR AND I WITH OUT TV.

I HOPE PAYPAL AND EBAY WILL MOVE TO MEXICO IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL.

Ebay doesn't care about their customers as long as they make money. They could easily put a stop to it but they choose not to do so.

One month ago, I listed a $3000 camera on Ebay to sell. In less than 2 hours it sold. My gut told me something was wrong as I never had an item sell so fast. I called Ebay to confirm the sale was legitimate and that the payment had really been received. The Ebay representative checked and said everything was up and up and it was okay for me to ship the item which I did immediately as I promised in my sales ad I would do. The camera was delivered as promised, but it was only then did I notice that payment had not been received as Ebay assured me. I tried everything to get in touch with the seller only to find out the seller (Mercado Gonzales using a Miami address) was a scammer and that Ebay led me wrong by confirming that the deal was legitimate. For the next few weeks, I submitted detailed reports to eBay's Security Center and appropriate police departments.

Here is how the story ends:

No one except me and my family cares about my loss. EBay gave me no support as a long-time seller and buyer They accepted no responsibility for my loss even though it was their confirmation that the sale was legitimate that gave me the green light to mail the camera to the thief. The police department in Miami never got back to me nor did any of the other agencies I wrote to for help. Basically, none of them cares.

Here is my conclusion to this nightmare I've been living. EBay will not help you if you get ripped off. EBay also does not approve of sellers disclosing situations like this and blacklisting scammers by their latest fake name and address. So, I am out $3000 for a new old stock camera and left with no trust anymore in buying or selling on eBay since they don't care to support their clients when things go wrong. They will also tell you someone will get back to you soon to discuss what to do next. They never get back to you. They lie, lie, and lie.

The outcome of my bad experience has taught me that eBay is now one of the added institutions that cannot be trusted in a world that supports criminal justice by letting the criminals go free. I hope this never happens to you.

I call customer service. They were rude. I was on hold for a total of two hrs. They kept on putting me on hold multiple times.

This company clearly says that we do not give guarenty for the quality. Then why the hell are we buying online? I trusted them and choosed the product and when i call them they tell me this and when i showed them the issuse they say call the dealer and dealer says call the manifacturer and they say we replace no refund. I told them the quality of you product is worst that the resean there are some issues they only replacem, ent no refund. And nw ebay says we can only do this much i purchsaed a phone worth 11k and when i recivd it i was a smart phone not worth 2k all the features they said were der in it but with very low quality

Tip for consumers:
guys please do not buy anythng from it though u dont have an option drop that plan but do not buy from ebay it sucks

15+ years as a seller, with over 1500 positive feed-backs, I decide as I have many times in the past to take a break from selling for some months! Sold two items last month & now Ebay has decided to list me as a high-risk seller, and put the same restrictions on me as they would a New Seller (which means) that they get PayPal to put a (21 day pending restriction on my having access to the funds & the shipping costs) that were already set to my PayPal account by the buyer. Until I ship & prove that I have shipped (out of my pocket), that the buyer has received the items, and then I can wait up to 14 days, before Ebay & Paypal decide that Ive met my obligations!

These are the people Ive been paying for the last 15 years to provide a service to me These are the people my customers have been paying to provide a service to them These are the people that come up with some of the stupidest policies in the world, and then in Collusion, Extort & Black-mail us all into having to follow these stupid policies, if we ever want to get the money, That We all Pay Them a service fee to provide! No Joke, just happened to me, 02/26/16 and the best part is, theyre going to keep doing it to me, until I sell & ship over 21 items, out of my own pocket!

Do not use EBAY They totally rip off the seller. I sold a vase for £350 and it got damaged during shipment.
Ebay insisted I refund the seller.
NEVER USE EBAY AGAIN

Used to enjoy buying on eBay until Paypal ruined that. Won't have anything to do with any site that takes Paypal. Goodbye eBay, Hello Amazon :)
