A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

Ordered 2 items and was billed for 2 items. Seller sent me just one. Ebay closed my dispute for the seller's favor. I did not get my refund for the item I never received. Total rip off! I paid double price for 1 item. You can't save money buying on eBay! They did not let me leave a negative feedback and warn other buyers about this seller. There is no buyer protection on eBay. Ebay supports dishonest sellers and helps them to steal money! You even can't talk with a real person from eBay customer service, because eBay customer service does not exist. I will never buy anything on eBay and recommend to stay away from this company!

Usually I don't write reviews.
In fact, this is my first review on this site.
But I need to warn people to avoid eBay as much as possible.
They banned my account for no reason at all. I entered in contact with their customer support and they refused to give me the reason behind my ban. Thankfully I didn't have any money in the website, but I worry for any seller who might suddenly lose their livelihood and hard work.
Avoid them. There are better places.

The ebay seller fees on selling a item is outrageous no wonder why all the products are high price on eBay because sellers are trying to cover their fees really said they charge so much to sell your personal items thank God for social media platforms.

Don't sell personal items on ebay their fees are too high

I have 1500 feedback. They will side with the buyer on everything. If a buyer wants a return, the automated appeals gives it to him. You have no say in the matter except to refund. The call center staff is horrible, and usually does not solve your issue. I have gotten 3 answers to the same question. All they appear to want to do is punish their sellers, unless you are one of their chinese whales. Costs are prohibitive to sell. There is no appeals on customers leaving negative feedback. Do yourself a favor and sell on another site.

Never again eBay! I was a faithful customer since 1999 but they have done their best to chase away good customers in favor of squeezing every last dime they can out of people. Good luck eBay your best days are behind you!

I was sold a product on eBay and afterwards, find out that the warranty is not valid where I live. Can't get a refund and eBay have shown little interest in supporting me. I would recommend people look elsewhere to purchase things.

Love buying and selling on Ebay. Ebay buyer protection is great as well if a seller will not respond. They know what they are doing here. Selling fees are too much in my opinion, but I will continue to use their site!

I have been power shopping on eBay for a while... My very first purchase was a bust. A bag from China that lasted me less than a week. Full crap... And took months for it to get to my NY address. But I have been learning and now eBay is my new best friend... It has loads of stuff and in great quality... Shipping is awesome (sometimes free) and total delivery time is 1-3 weeks... I even have some friends that order through me... Will forever keep shopping at eBay...

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1999. The site is so much easier to use now! The biggest purchase I made was a car and it was the easier and best car-buying experience. As eBay has grown, they've made smart investments in technology, especially in information security. Yes, there are scams from time to time, but this is the real world and dishonesty can never be 100% eliminated. EBay is a great place to find whatever it is you're looking for from global sellers.

I have been an Ebay seller since 1998. Just got burned again for the third time by Ebay protecting it's scammer and fraud buyers. They don't care about their sellers anymore. Time to move to a different seller platform. Good bye Ebay!

EBay used to be OK. Now? Not so much. Lately I bought some microfibre cloths but what turned up were some Henry hoover bags. So I messaged the seller and asked them to put it right. So they issued a return label and told me it was my responsibility to return the items before a refund could be issued. Ebay concurred. So it was clearly all my fault. I was liable and had to jump through hoops. Somehow eBay worked it out that it was my responsibility when the seller should've just sent me the goods I ordered. Since when is this justice?

I can see why Amazon are number one

Absolute scam. I'm a student simply trying to make my way through college, so I decided to clean out my closet. Although I would have just donated the clothing, I thought maybe I could get $50 or so from my clothing. I sent in 23 items and received an offer which was dropped to $28 when I opted to use PayPal for payment instead of a store credit. They cited "holes", "overall wear", and "staining" in items that had been worn a handful of times. The nice wallet I had received as a gift and sent in was not even accepted due to "staining". I have never used the wallet. I'm sure I will see it pop up on their website as well, as there was NOTHING wrong with it. I am infuriated that I trusted this company to be honest. Do not sell to them and do not buy from them as you are only feeding their corrupt business practices.

Why would e-bay screw up their check out page when trying to pay with a gift card. 3 calls to ebay for assistance and 1 to paypal to submit payment for 4 items purchased with gift card. Line by line help from customer service still resulted in payment to be taken from bank account. Until they can fix this problem, which has never been a problem til now (7-16-2016), my days with e-bay are over!

EBay has created a Buyer Beware style of commerce.
Cancelled orders with no refunds, explanation or efficient way to get things resolved.
I have been buying and selling for quite a few years through eBay, but the trajectory of this company has me exploring other options.
It's becoming a place of fraud... Buyers returning empty boxes and demanding a refund... Sellers cancelling orders and not giving refunds, and yet if you leave feedback for a buyer ITS POSITIVE when they clearly don't deserve a positive.
EBay has become way too controlling.
Proceed with caution using eBay...

I ordered many items. Only few came and dont know if the problem was by the Posts.
The delivery is risky and takes long time.
Hard to track items. Hard to say if sellers sent it anyway.
The only good thing for me in this site is that if you wont get ur item, Ebay makes sure u got refund.
But it takes time, like two months after purchase. It just stressed me out to shop there.

For the items they did accept, my offer was comparable to what I was offered at a local consignment store. However, three other new and like-new items I sent in were rejected for mysterious invisible "staining." I inspected everything before I sent it in and am sure that nothing was stained. One item was a brand new name-brand sweater that I wore one time, for an hour, before deciding it didn't fit. I suspect Twice rejects a certain number of items from each bag for fake reasons so that they don't have to pay you for them, only to keep those items and re-sell them at a later date.

I spent over $1400 on jewelry. Seller created a tracking number but never sent the item! Contacted the seller and communication went cold. Contacted eBay and spoke to their customer service and was told I would get a refund by XX date if seller did not give me a refund. No refund by eBay as promised. I called again the next day and agent told me he would get me a refund. It is end of day and case is still pending! Bunch of liars. My credit card has fraud protection and will be reporting them! Buyers beware! I agree with others that reviews are questionable as eBay remove negative reviews!

Do not use the eBay shipping calculator when listing an item. It will only charge the buyer a base rate and eBay will expect you to cover the difference. I lost $11.00 dollars today and wasted 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service rep who just kept telling me it was up to me to find a cheaper rate and that they would not cover the difference. I will be using a different service to sell items from now on. One of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a very long time.

I was excited to sell some items on Ebay. I quickly learned what a mistake that was! Ebay will violate your user rights and make decisions for you always in the buyers favor. And the worst part of it all is that it ends up costing the seller money! I'm not sure why they are rated 3 1/2 stars on here. Absolute zero customer service to the seller's. I am looking up my rights as a seller as I do not believe they have rights to my account without my authorization.

This is my 4th item "Sold," but no one ever replied and didn't pay.

6 Days after winning a bid for $3,650.00, they haven't replied to any of my four messages!

I have written 4 Negative Reviews on buys in the past year and not ONE Negative has shown up on ANY of their profile to date!

EBay needs to demand that everyone add a credit card and automatically pay a day after a sale and fix all of the BS accounts.

There has to be a way to fix it!

We all need to complain to all social media websites so they are forced to fix this!

I have used a certain aftershave for many years which I can no longer
Find. I used to be able to buy it at the Local drugstore. Apparently
It has been discontinued. I believe it was manufactured in Canada. It
Was just one of those cheap brands that I happened to like.

Anyway this place actually carries it. I'm not familiar with prices on aftershave or
Any other of those type of products so I don't know if their prices are very competitive or not. It didn't seem too high to me. I thought this might be an option for someone out there who can't find a certain cologne or perfume anywhere else.
Believe me I searched for this product everywhere. Ordering was simple and
Shipping was the normal rates that I see everywhere else. All has been easy.
I have used them twice so far. No problems at all. I would recommend them.

I started using ebay approximately 10 years ago as a buyer. Then as a seller. It's a good website... I've got many good deals, few bad deals because I'm really picky 'trusting' my seller.

You need to do some research 'from whom' you're going to buy your item. If they have zero feedbacks and no history at all. It's kinda risky to buy from that person. I like reading the seller ME page. And see what they say about themselves.

Just be very careful and know when to stop bidding. Coz otherwise instead of saving money. U'll end up losing money. ALSO. Know the 'retail price' first before thinking an item is CHEAP. Coz with all those bid war. People forget that the item end up cheaper if you just go to the store and buy it there, they get caught up with the 'bidding war' and want to win the item so bad w/out thinking that the price starting to pass the 'retail price'..

I recently purchased something from eBay and after the scheduled month long delivery, I waited a few more days, finally tried to contact them to see what was going on... I went thru several navigation issues with the password and kept getting booted out of the site. I trusted in a big name like eBay only to be disappointed in their service, so it's highly unlikely that I would take a chance with eBay again,... and I would never recommend them to anyone!

I was told different answers to the same question by eBay reps. In the end i will receive fake shoes for full price. After I was assured that I could return. I let eBay know buyer skipped Authenticator and was told they would research the seller all lies and now im stuck with cheap knock offs I will only be shopping at goat from here on out

If the product is really cheap there, it is a fake account. Ebay needs to be responsible for that! OR they need to take care of it... I will never again buy on Ebay. I would prefer paying more on Amazon / Walmart and have it safe in my house.
