A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.
I've used this site several times and both times received ridiculously low payouts. ($3.00 for this year's Kut from the Kloth jeans worn 3 or 4 times). I was also told the coach purse I used about two weeks had "stains and wear", which it did not. They offered me nothing. I saved my $3.00 check to put on my bulletin board to remind me not to fall for this again and to warn others.
My sellers account has recently been restricted for no reason what so ever I'm very confused as I have top marks on my sellers account! I have suffered too much from this site and i wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you want to be ripped off on a daily basis
On their website, it claims they don't charge a seller's fee for charities. However, it charged me a seller's fee. If I'd known this, I would've used another website that has better options for nonprofits.
I've spoken to customer service several times and they told there's nothing they can do.
I have been trying to buy a laptop which the seller has shipped in two separate packages. One has been delivered, and the other has been returned to them. They haven't attempted a second delivery. I returned the delivered package because the received package was defective. I opened a case on eBay hoping to get a refund. Initially, the status was accepted but under review for a few days. After that, it was rejected. In the end, the seller is forcing me to pay 20% of the product if I want a refund or pay for the reshipping. I chose the former option because after this bad experience, I didn't want anything more to do with the site. In the end, I bought it on Amazon, and as always, their customer service is excellent. If you're in a dilemma between eBay and Amazon, I can tell you that cheap things end up being expensive.
Purchased an 4S i-phone from them on EBAY and paid top dollar. The item was described as a 9/10 and in mint condition. The phone looked nice, however the microphone at the charging port was bad. I had this repaired on my dime. I contacted seller to ask for my $54.11 in repairs to be refunded. Nothing to date and I really don't expect they ever will refund this. As for EBAY, can't leave negative feedback for a power seller for 7 days. This is slanted toward the seller. A bad deal is bad deal no matter where it was purchased.

We have had our account suspended because of euro checks.we sent all documentation in passport and business utilyu bill but they have not processed.
They were happy to sell a ring(expensive one) of ours and charge monthly fees but will not pay out

Ebay has suspended my account for absolutely no reason. I have always shipped the items on time and I dont have a single negative feedback from any of the buyers. I called eBay multiple times to find out the reason why they suspended my account from selling and appealed a few times but they never gave the reason. I am truly disappointed with the way eBay has treated me
It used to be you could resolve an issue with a human being. At first it was easy to get help. Ebay has decided to ignore their customers by using a badly programed service bot that can't help and actually encourages you to fix it yourself, If you can't it then suggests that you pay for a third party to provide help. This is not customer service so I am looking for another auction site.

Here is a copy of the breakdown of the fee's I had to pay. They take 12.9% go the irs and then the shipping so I have to charge more due to this and it hurts my business. I only use them foe about 5 percent of my business anymore, but I had no clue they have the nerve to charge me for generating tax revenue for the government that I DO NOT get myself. I bought an expensive commercial fryer that the seller posted "new" but scratch and den. I paid 300.00 for freight shipping, when it arrived, I had to hire 2 guys to move it inside my store and unwrapped it.
It turned out the item was used, I asked Ebay what is my right to return it to the seller. Ebay said I have to put that fryer back to it original wrap on a pallet as I received and ship back to the seller as a returned item.
If I choose to ship the fryer back to the seller, I will lose: 300.00 ( shipping to my place) 100.00 ( hired 2 guys) to unwrapped it, another 100.00 to hire them to put it back to its original package, and another 300.00 for shipping to return to the seller.
Ebay said they could only get the money I paid for the fryer, they are not responsible for the above 800.00 and the seller will not reimburse me for those expenses either.
I write this review for your information, the seller on Ebay could sell you anything and you will be a victim, my story tells it all!

Look at the pictures, they claimed it a "new fryer" ! You have no protection at all !
You do not have any rights when you sell on EBay. I found that out the hard way. Buyers I had interactions with were rude, wishy washy, mind changing problems. Buy my items then change their mind, request a return & refund. Use the item and then open a claim with Ebay and get all their money back, plus ebay charged me for return shipping plus a fee of 10% of original sale price and original shipping for purchase. When I questioned why they charged me all that I was told "it's because the buyer made a claim against the purchase and requested to return item" WTH. Then they took an enormous amount of money out of my Paypal account to pay for the return and all their fees. Never again, I warn you now, don't be a victim/ SLAVE!
Worst firm to buy anything if you ask me never buy a simple 10 rs item from it and their ebay guarantee sucks it took three months for me to get my claim approved and get my dd delivered to me. I am not gonna trade anything with ebay pathetic customer service.
I had wrote a review about eBay and how they handled my account poorly. I got a hold of someone else who corrected everything and returned my overcharged amount to me! Now that is good customer service Too bad I had to talk to a lot of people to get it done...

Never NEVER become a professional seller on this platform, the commissions are huge ( paid more than £11.000) to deal with a bounch of monkey that are not able to coordinate between them-self,) suspended account, payments on hold. And so on because they are literally not able to speak between them, one operator confirms that you are able to do something another one blocks your account! Bravo! Love this site to buy and sell books at great prices! Till now, all my daughter's books are bought here and the books my family finished reading are sold on Half. Instead of buying from Ebay, I love this site more since the process is as well fast and the price reasonable.
Its my worst experience on eBay. They sell poor quality products and no refund policy. They have poor customer service. They don't even care about buyer's satisfaction.The sellers on eBay are fake, they just want money. There is no response from their side.

When you search for something to buy you see photos that are about 1/10 of the size of the box that they are in. You need a magnifying glass to see the photos.
Why would anyone sell on a site that charges so much when other sites are less expensive and have huge photos in the search.
I could write a novel here on every way that ebay has gone downhill in 20 years, but I'd rather move on and shop and sell somewhere else. Not worth the time to explain or complain anymore.

I bought a pair of defected pants on ebay from wourldgoods360 seller manipulated me on feedback to change it from bad to good and if I did so seller would give me a refund and I don't need to return the pants to seller then when I changed it to positive feedback they did not want to refund me they rather ignore my messages sent to them. Don't buy any product from this seller on ebay defected products.! One pant leg made shorter then the other eBay seller factory defect.!

Been buying from ebay for years, 95% transactions have gone smooth and any that I've had problems with ie late deliveries ebay have resolved.
As for selling fees charges have gone up hence minus point.
I ordered this windshield and it showed up completely smashed so UPS returned it as damaged.
Never could talk to anyone at eBay and filing refund claims always resulted in "order not found"
I contacted seller and they blame UPS and ebay sent me a nasty email for contacting seller.
In the end ebay, the seller and UPS can only believe that viewing a smashed windshield is all a customer deserves for $443.00
If it aint totally indestructible then order at your own risk.

I've been using ebay for years. I shop for specific items that I can't find in my local store.
I would say if you can get it at walmart you shouldn't buy it on ebay.
I've have over a hundred positive reviews and have had only one trouble with my purchase and ebay was able to refund my money.

Bought an item and the seller never send it to me. He supply a chipping number but never got to me. I told him that I did not received so he told me that he will ship another one. Supply a shipping number but no item even do it say that item was delivered. I open a refund my money on eBay told them what happen even tod them and sen videos of my Ring camera on the door proving them that the mail carrier did not deliver any package and still they did not honor nor refund my money. The seller did the same to others and they got robed also because of the eBay poor buyer protection. We notice latter that the seller is selling non real items and that he is in Pakistan. Worst experience ever with eBay buyer protection. Do not buy on eBay. You will get rip off

For years I have had a successful small business on eBay. (MyPinkPorch). Over the last year and a half, my sales have plummeted and this year I am barely selling a thing. Something has changed in the way eBay is now conducting it's business. I am running my business as I always have so why the big drop off? I think maybe eBay prefers big corporate business that sell hundreds and thousands of items every month and is not so interested in "small independent sellers" such as I. Seems my items no longer get the exposure they used to and hence sales are very sporadic at best. Maybe it's time to consider another venue to sell my handcrafted products?
