A seller reported a package delivered to my address. We do not have USPS delivery here everything is left at our local office or PO Box when possible. I continued to check the post office for over a week with the postmaster. The package never arrived. I contacted the seller who said it was signed for, but it was never signed for because I am the only one who signs for anything or checks the mail. Ebay closed the case telling me no refund would be sent. There is no way this package was ever delivered, and absolutely no way I signed for it. Ebay is supposed to provide Buyer protection. They do not! I will never use Ebay again.

Lotus.com is unethical. I returned a phone they sold (wrong phone, color, Unlocked for wrong phone company not a new phone as they claimed it was refurbished.) I gave a bad reivew and tehy offered my 20 dollar credit to apologize. Next they harassed me with emails telling me to change the review and acting like I agreed to it. I have all the emails. Ebay and PAYPAL are to BLame for not investigataingthis crook. Du Yuran then filed a calim for the return of the 20.00 gift because I wouldn't change the bad review which they deserved. DONT BUT FROM LOTUS.com Reviews are lies

In hindsight, I should have been suspicious about a website that incorporates another well known entity in to its name. When I've recounted the details to other people, that's the first thing they is instantly dodgy.

When I purchased two pairs of 'genuine' Asics running shoes from them, to the cost of AUD$227.18 there was a note at the bottom of the invoice saying
' Due to the foreign exchange rate, the amount displayed on your statement might be a little bit different from the real price. '

The amount actually deducted by 'oldgatetrick' was actually AUD
$254.73... approximately 12% higher than the quoted price and inclusive of the postage fee.

I emailed them twice: via the 'Contact us' link on their webpage and privately via my own email address.

Their website states: 'All complaints will be acknowledged within 7 working days, although we try to acknowledge all complaints immediately where possible. The customer will be informed of all progress.'

To Date I have had absolutely NO feedback regarding this issue.

I have had further issues with them and strongly suspect that this website is set up to send customers cheap fakes.

Avoid at all costs!

I sold a gift card. Buyer claimed it was empty. It wasn't. I tried to communicate with buyer, they did not respond. As I had my card back full of funds, I refunded the buyer. I left buyer negative feedback about what a hassle the whole thing had been. Buyer retaliated by saying I sold her an empty gift card. I contacted ebay to have it removed. I had evidence that gift card was full. They said it didn't matter what the truth was, whether the card had money or not. In their opinion I did not work with the buyer enough to show them "how to use the product". SO after MUCH hassle and headache I was left with a review saying I sold an empty gift card, regardless of proof opposite. I thought I did everything by the book, and I still got screwed. It didn't matter who was "right", only that the incompetent person who couldn't figure out how to use a gift card didn't receive proper "help" from me. Bad review stands. I am cancelling my account and never using this service again. They don't care to protect those who are in the right.

For some reason they seem to put tracking numbers on parcels that aren't even tracked! I'm a seller and buyer, only use eBay as a way of getting rid of household items.

They also claim arrival dates for items within 2 working days for Royal Mail 2nd class, when this is really is not true.

The new product reviews they have, clearly have a bug as my images in my description page go blank when you cilck on the 'read review's' link at the top.

They always, always, favour the buyer!

Tip for eBay appreciate your sellers more and you might attract some more trusted businesses and retailers that run to Amazon!

Another terrible part of the eBay seller experience is the fact they take buyers word for if an item was delivered late. Well if you're providing them with a 2 day delivery time for 2nd class which is actually 2-3 working days, then they're going to think it's late!

You cannot rate a seller on their delivery times based on what buyers constitute as being late. You should only rely on the actual tracked items. None of my items are tracked yet you seem to put on tracking codes from some random generator no doubt, that implies I've dispatched my parcels late, they're not tracked! How can you know?!?!?!?! Yet its taken as gospel and lowers your seller rating as a result.

Seriously I've been a small business seller now for over a year now if anyone wants to know the real issues with selling as an eBay premium seller just comment below.

Tip for consumers:
Horrendous for sellers.
Claim 2nd class standard parcels are tracked and use it against you on your delivery times.
Always favour the buyer - beware!!!

I've had mixed experiences with E-Bay. One must be an educated buyer and a little psychic. E-Bay has a feedback system that I highly recommend any prospective customer to review before placing a bid or hitting the buy now button. PayPal is now the only form of payment accepted on E-Bay, it offers good buyer protection for online purchases. Now back to shopping... I can honestly say that I have yet to purchase any authentic Chanel items on E-Bay. The sellers list their items as authentic and promise the buyer that they're honest sellers and would never buy or sell a replica item. I've even had a seller tell me that a Chanel bag I purchased was confirmed authentic by MyPoupette.com (an online company that authenticates Chanel bags for a fee). You've guessed it, the bag is a fake. Don't be fooled by Chanel bags being advertised as vintage or rare bags because they too are most likely fakes. My suggestion to all designer bag fashionistas, if you truly desire an authentic designer handbag, only purchase one at an authorized dealer or a Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, etc. Boutique. Also, remember the golden shopper's rule, read the seller's feedback section, it is there to both inform and protect you the consumer. On the bright side, E-Bay has just about everything under the sun, so if you're looking for a hard to find item, E-Bay probably has it and several of them at a range of prices. Happy Bidding!

The so called "buyer protection" is completely useless. I purchased several thousand dollars of camera memory cards, Sandisk and Lexar brand. After experiencing several card failures (which had never occurred in 20 years), I sent the cards to the manufacturers and was informed that they were all COUNTERFEIT. I submitted all of the manufacturer documentation that they were in fact counterfeit cheap cards to eBay buyer protection. After months of email and phone calls, where they did nothing, they finally said that they would not charge back the sellers as they were overseas. What the heck? I was out over two thousand dollars and had nothing but worthless counterfeit memory cards. E bay did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and I did not get a dime of my money back from them. They are making so much money from counterfeit sellers that they will NOT protect you. Counterfeits in nearly every category sold on their site. Avoid purchasing anything electronic, or designer there. I used to buy quite a considerable amount on eBay, and now I will not do business with them. They lure you in with the promise of 'buyer protection', and then leave you high and dry.

Tip for consumers:
DON'T. JUST DON'T. SOOOOOOO MANY COUNTERFEITS
If you are buying cheap junk and don't care, go for it. Anything electronic, designer brand, or of value, stick with a REPUTABLE place. The buyer protection WILL NOT help you.

I bought some Ryobi tool holders from Bumbee421. Quality was very poor. Vender stalked, called and sent threatening messages to my phone and threatened to send a special package to my house. Ebay said they would hold vender accountable but 2 weeks later vender is still active. Filed a police report verified what happened with pictures and voice-mail threatening messages. DO NOT USE EBAY OR BUMBIE421. BOTH SITES ARE DANGEROUS.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use vendor or Ebay. Ebay doesn't take buyer safety serious and has left a vender who stalked and threatened a buyer still up and running two weeks later. Even after receiving a police report that documents calls and threatening messages.

Products used:
Bought Ryobi tool holders but product was junk and vendor refused replacement. Then stalked, threatened and harassed me for a honest and fair review that was not derogatory in any way.

Had an email saying my account is restricted and my items delisted, no reason given except that I had failed to add additional "information" on my profile, one that is around 20 years old. I clicked on the link it sent to resolve the issue and the link wouldn't work. Thought maybe it's a scam so went to eBay site and found yes, I'm restricted and delisted, another non-working link was tried. Then spent all morning trying to talk to an agent, then kept getting put on hold, and then call dropped after waiting long time, with the last hold lasting over 1.5 hours then my phone battery died.
I spend a lot of time listing items, taking pics and measuring dimensions of every piece of clothing. At least they could keep the items I have listed on until they are gone, but as it is, I'll either forget trying to sell them or go through rigamarow again to list it all on another site. Buying has often been bad as well, and most times nothing gets resolved, so stuck with useless items
Awful awful site!

A week ago i was looking for a certain kind of shampoo, I added an item to my watch list, but I didn't buy it, a few days later I received the same shampoo, I check my ebay shopping list and the purchase was not registered like it never took place but it did showed up in my statement, I inmediately got in touch with ebay custumer service and they were very rude, they accused me of buying the item by mistake and they said that that was none of their business, they said that I would have to contact the bank which is my next action but I think that at least I deserved some answers not unfounded accusations and a nasty treatment

MOST CORRUPT COMPANY IN THE WORLD!
EBAY has been involed with crimes online, and it is on record, also ebay has lost multiple lawsuits! I ordered a filter for my Stihl BG86 blower. The filter sent to me from China was not the same as shown in the ad. They want me to pay $50 to return a $20 item? Will cancel my ebay account ASAP.

I sent in two boxes of clothes. Most of the stuff was rejected. A brand new pair of shoes were rejected and the reason was they were too scuffed, a pair of two year old Ferragamo loafers were rejected because they said they were dated. So I asked for my items back and after waiting almost two weeks I received my items but one brand new bikini was missing, it still had the tags on it when I sent it in. I contacted customer service and received no answer for four days. I contacted them again and they asked me ridiculous questions such as, did I look in the box? Am I sure I looked in the box? Then they said the packager swears they put it in and now are blaming the post office for stealing it and they even said it may have fallen out of the package in transit. This is a terrible company and they have no clue how to treat a customer. My missing brand new item still has not been found and returned to me. As far as I'm
Concerned there are two answers, the packager stole it and is wandering around on a beach somewhere in my brand new bikini or it was returned to the wrong seller. I guess I will never know.

Purchased a computer from this guys eBay site on Saturday October 10,2015, purchasing it thru my paypal account. On Monday the 12th, got an email from him and paypal saying he canceled the deal because it was "out of stock". A check on the item showed it had already been relisted for $70 more! I complained to the vendor, but he wouldn't acknowledge my complaint. After the waiting period passed, I put a negative review about the guy and he finally responded yesterday by offering to make good on the sale if I'd remove the bad review. When I asked him to give me some specifics on the offer, he didn't reply and this morning when I asked him again about it, he said the negative review had been deleted by eBay and to "have a nice day". I called eBay customer service and they looked into my complaint and agreed that he did in fact sell it to me and then cancelled and relisted the item for $70 more. They are now conducting an audit of this guys dealings and said they would most likely put some sort of "sanction" on him over it.

Think twice before dealing with this guy. He's obviously not trust-able.

I won a bid on e-bay and when they sent me the e-mail with the link to complete my purchase, the amount they were charging was double the amount of the purchase. The seller and I spent 8 hrs the next day trying to get e-bay or paypal to fix the problem. Paypal told me to have the seller send me their invoice instead of e-bays invoice. After searching the e-bay website for over 30 mins trying to find a phone number for them and eventually having to google it to find one, then sitting on hold for 40 mins waiting to speak to an e-bay rep who could barely speak English, I was told it was a "glitch" on their part and to have the seller send me the paypal invoice. When I pointed out to the e-bay rep that the only way the seller could send me the paypal invoice was for me to give him my e-mail address and exchanging e-mail addresses was prohibited under e-bay rules, the e-bay rep got silent for a few mins then told me e-bay would send me an e-mail. 24 hrs later, I still don't have this e-mail e-bay was SUPPOSE to send me. If a company can't fix their own screw up, they aren't a company I want to do business with! After this fiasco, I will no longer do business with e-bay or paypal. I highly doubt the seller will either since he shared some horror stories with me that he's had with both companies. Also, I ONLY gave e-bay 1 star since this site won't let you give zero!

So the facts during the pandemic this company was still losing customers ( wow as others grew) this should be a warning flag, there stock has lost more than 50% value since oct 2021, second flag, there new ceo states ( as he runs off low value buyers) that 50 % of the buyers ( low value) is only 5% of the sales, LIAR as they have lost over 20% and there sales are 20 by billions, flag 3, ebays problem is no one trusts ebay, they are a slimy co with slimy CEO's ( lets not forget about the couple in Natick that they sent the security team after, ebay is broken has been for a long time, they squandered a perfect opportunity to get more customers during the pandemic and IAN failed hes an BLEEP, ebay has lied to me, they constantly are hidding fees everywhere, they run off buyers, have the worst search engine ever BROKEN and this ahs cost me money b, my sales were at $150-$450 a day, now im lucky to get a $20 sale every few days, run from this company,

First of all Ebay does not even deserve a one star rating but that is the lowest option to choose from. My experience with Ebay has been a nightmare to say the least. My account has been suspended/blocked. I have been trying for two days to get answers as to why. I have done the chat and was told I needed to follow the link provided and request a call back. The link did not work, there was no option to have someone call me back. I emailed them only to get an email back stating my account can not be unsuspended because I was found to have unfavorable selling which is a risk to the community. I have NEVER sold anything on Ebay. I have only purchased one time in the past. I emailed their customer service again stating I have never sold anything and am fearful my account has been hacked and requested assistance. They again responded with a reply that it is in the best interest they part ways with me. They claim safety for the community is their main concern. What a joke, if this were true they would want to help me figure out what happened and by who. They also went on to say that if I try to open any future accounts they will be blocked immediately. I demanded that they delete my account. Their response was they can not close suspended or blocked accounts. Terrible company! Their practices and customer service are the bottom of the barrel. I see several negative comments on here, I can only hope their crappy ways will lead to their business folding!

Hello every one, I would like to tell all the genuine customers, who would like to purchase goods through EBAY, Your choice of category is worst. I faced the worst problem with E-Bay 3 times, SO I would like to explain clearly the scenario with post delivery of products.

1. I took Nexus 6p flip cover, With in 3weeks of usage, The magnet of the cover looses its magnitude.
2. Later I have taken Nexus 6p Case cover, I was surprised to by seeing the cover with almost 50-60 scratches.
3. Lastly & recently I booked L'Oreal- Paris kajal, But they have delivered Lakmi Kajal.(Still I am waiting to get mine product)

Its really worst feeling to receive any of the product from E-bay, Of course its waste to get the claim money, Its better if E-bay stop selling old product with damage kind.

Its my humble request with all the guys not to buy things@ EBAY.

This webiste full of bad attitude seller and they have no idea what they are selling. For example, i had experience brought a power bank charger and the seller had no idea how to use it.

I've 15 years with ebay and they are disappointed in everything, like nothing new I toke 3 day to contact them, I don't recommend to anyone to buy o seller anything with them

You can find a lot of good offers/products on EBay, but also a LOT of FAKE stuff so beware! EBay doesn't seem to care as several of the vendors of fake products, like "1TB-2TB USB-Sticks" are listed as verified/top vendors.
So just like Trustpilot, money have now taken the highest priority. :(

I am having an incredibly BAD EXPERIENCE on EBay. Someone with the EBay handle Jumar_4224 posted incredibly BAD things about me that are not true and is severely effecting my ability to sell a very expensive and rare basketball card.
Jumar_4224 wrote about me for EVERYONE to see:
"I never even pressed purchase and you (this loser means 'me'), charged me for something I didn't even approve cancel my order asap"
EVERYONE on EBay can see this is a lie, and I can't do anything about it. I am trying to cancel this person's order. NO ONE from EBay helps me. This person spreads lies about me, and SEVERELY hurt my ability to make a sale.
I have a friend that works for the Michigan Attorney General's Office. I will email them a complete detail of everything that happened, including Jumar_4224 EBay handle, and EBay's lackluster response.
I will also contact my U.S. Senators, Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters and request they investigate EBay, and testify, under oath, before Congress.
