International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
I looked for a flight on skyscanner back in January, found a flight and was redirected to faregeek. I was charged 50 per ticket in additional fees and taxes, not in the quoted price, but this is commonplace now. The main issue came when my flight times changed. I requested other options, and the company instead CANCELLED MY RESERVATION WITHOUT CONSENT. I have to fly in two days, I had a reservation for two months and now I have nothing. Do NOT book with these people.

I am a fair balanced consumer that rarely makes complaints but based on my experience with faregeek.com, I had to share so others don't get screwed as bad I did. I booked a flight with them two weeks ago then I get an email stating that the my tickets were cancelled. I called the airline and they told me that the tickets were never purchased and faregeek.com just put a hold request for the tickets but never completed the transaction. So I then called faregeek.com and after one hour on the phone, they said the airline rejected the booking because they didn't like the price. Right now prices were up $200 higher than two weeks ago. I called the airline back, but there was nothing they could do because faregeek didn't actually follow through. You'd expect that when you buy tickets, you'd get them. I have never seen such an unfair and illegal way of operating a business as faregeek.com. They take your credit card and make you think you have tickets and then never actually contact the airline to get the tickets. Airline confirmed that this company never completed the transaction and it timed out.
Tip for consumers:
You're better off jamming nails into your skull than using them for travel.
I never thought it would be so easy to arrange for cheap vacations. I will certainly recommend their services to others who are looking for good deals on air tickets.

I wish I had seen this before booking with FareGeek. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I booked a flight, got a reservation and then... 5 DAYS LATER they tell me that my flight wasn't booked and its the "airlines fault". I called to figure out what was going on and had to wait a total of 1.5 hrs on hold. Ben was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I asked to speak to the manager, called back a number of times to catch her but the ever illusive "Charlotte" won't return my call. Of course, now the prices have skyrocketed. Skyscanner shouldn't even promote them.

As i didn'received my eticket several days after booking, I called back (by the way it takes 45 minutes to talk to someone). They make me redo the reservation as the 1st o ee was cancelled by British airways... so here we go again...
At the end only 1 ticket charged twice... and they gave my cc info to a 3rd party Skylink tonedit my ticket... an extra $60 I was unaware off...

I was searching the tickets for India, when i found this website. I gave my CC details and i received the confirmation email. I was concerned when i didn't received the etickets for 2 days. I tried contacting there customer service but everytime it took more than one hour to get connected to the agent, they would listen and then they would hung up.
Ultimately i have to call my credit card company and ask them to cancel all transactions.
BE AWARE OF THE PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

So to start things, my name was mispelled, tried getting a hold of them never got a reply. Had to call the airlibe direct and they were amazing. Bext I never got my e-ticket. I called and tge guy told me they were having computer problems, but would email it to me within the hour. Never ever got it. Went through the airline directly again and got it done. Worst experience of my life. Will never ever deal with this company again and have been spreading the word to family and friends to STAY AWAY FROM FAREGEEK!

I recently bought a flight through faregeek (like many other people on this site, I was redirected through them unknowingly). They charged me for two tickets on the same flight at the same time... been on the phone with both American Express and Faregeek probably about 20 times from the day of the transaction saying that the second charge was fraud and unauthorized by me... however, since they issued two tickets, the charge hasn´t been lifted and so on. Even though Faregeek was the one to issue the second ticket, they wanted me to pay a $300 cancellation fee to get rid of the second ticket and ´potentially get a refund. ´ Ha. I will not be paying those charges.
Now I´m nervous about the flight... I have a confirmation number and an e-ticket number through Lufthansa, but I keep seeing all of these cancellation reviews. My card was charged and my e-ticket was issued, and my flight is confirmed through the Lufthansa site (with e-ticket number and everything). Is it still possible that they can cancel my reservation last minute, even after I have been charged and have the e-ticket and confirmation number?
I have had the same problem that most people here are complaining about. I booked a fare and then a few days later was told it was cancelled. Then was told I needed to pay an extra fee to book a new flight on the exact same day since the airline "cancelled the flight" They asked me to pay an extra 16$, which at the time didn't bother me since i was panicked about loosing my seat. They said they would send a new ticket within the hour, but it turns out there was no new ticket. It was the same one with the same confirmation number. When i checked my itinerary on icelandair, it said there was correspondence made due to "BOOKING ON LOSS DUE TO MERCHANT FEE".
So it appears as if this is a complete and total scam. Its a way of charging an extra fee AFTER you've paid. Their site says they will respond to emails within 10 minutes. This is false. They are also extremely difficult to reach by phone. Twice I was hung up on.
This is definitely shady business. This is absolutely a scam. I should have just checked my flight with icelandair and confirmed it before spending the extra 16 dollars in order to "hold my seat on a cancelled flight". Why did that even make sense? They are preying on your vulnerabilities. There was no reason to charge me more other than for them to claim a merchant fee. NO TRANSPARENCY. Complete scam.

I just got off the phone with someone in customer service and they handled thing so poorly I will never work with them again. Flat out took zero responsibility for the mismanagement of the booking, claiming they called and emailed me but I have zero record of such. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS AS THEY HAVE NO CLASS AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not impressed!

A friend tried to book a flight on-line using an international credit card but they wouldn't process it without him photocopying the front and back of the card and faxing it to a number, which is a no-no. So he asked me if I would book the flight for him, which I did, and then he got an e-mail asking for the same thing from me, along with a copy of my driver's licence, home address, age, and signature FAXED to a number. Too much information is being requested and on checking with Mastercard, they advised that under no circumstances should this information ever be provided by fax, and even though I did not provide it, they cancelled my credit card and will be replacing it. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE LIKELY SELLING THE INFORMATION TO OTHERS FOR SINISTER PURPOSES.

I booked on fare geek several weeks prior to my expected departure. Exactly 1 week before I was set to leave I received an e-mail from them saying my flight was cancelled. Upon calling customer service to find out why, I sat on hold for 35 minutes and ended up speaking to someone who apparently has no control over their bookings. From the conversation, I learned than the price that they had advertised on the site, the price I purchased at was not available. They said they do not charge our cards until the ticket is issued, in that time period the price had changed to the tune of DOUBLE. So, my $774 dollar fare turned into a $1500 fare, quite literally. They informed me that they had contacted me regarding the price change of which I received no contact, nothing on the answering machine, nothing in my e-mail at all. They insisted that they had, and I was obviously wrong. They also noted that they were not in control of the fare prices. Why would they confirm my cost then, send me a confirmation e-mail and then try to tell me that their confirmation wasn't valid. What good are they then as a travel broker if the prices they advertise would change between the time you CONFIRM the flight and the time they finally decide to charge the card and lock in the fare. I'm extremely dissatisfied and will NOT ever be booking with them again.

Steer well clear. If they can't honor the prices they confirm your booking at, what good are they? Stick with the reputable agencies that will honor what they sell to you for. I won't use them again EVER, and I highly suggest that anyone else think ahead and use a reputable agency.

I booked a ticket from USA to India through Faregeek. I would like to change one of my travelling dates. I called customer care and for changing they are asking for almost 50% of the ticket price more. Its Ridiculous. Air line changing fees + more than 150 dollar for the current price showing on their website for same dates. Totally like 50% extra. My original Ticket price was 970 dollar, for my changing date ticket price is 1095 dollar showing on their web site. So still 225 dollar changing fee + extra fare 125 = 350 dollar only. But they are asking almost 500 dollar to change the ticket... I will never come back to this web site again. Please stay away from this web site.
I changed my ticket already from faregeek yesterday and they charged me 510 dollar... 350 dollar airline penalty fee+ 160 dollar fare difference. My initial fare was 970dollar and my day change price was on their website 1115 dollar at that time. Then I am not sure how they charged 510 dollar. Few days before when I called agent said airline penalty is 225 dollar only for changing the date. But now charged 350 dollar. I give my details to the faregeek representative (Dan F.
