I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.

I booked Nov. 30,2014 and then discovered sitejabber and panicked after reading some bad reviews about faregeek. So far, so good, though. The confirmation and intinerary with the advertised price ($120US each ticket lower than the airline site) came within minutes of my booking on faregeek.com. The next day the e-ticket notification was e-mailed to me and my bank had the ticket amount pending on my credit card. I went to the United Airlines site and the itinerary was there with a changed confirmation code that United explained was due to their merger with Continental. That's OK. On the United website I was able to fill-in passenger profiles and selected seats in Economy. So far, everything is normal and as expected from faregeek. Our trip is still two months in the future so we will see if any problems develop. I intend to check the United website daily for any unforseen problems. I made one call to faregeek's customer service and the hold on the phone was three minutes (on a Sunday night e. S. t.) and my simple question was answered. So, after the booking and ticketing experience only three days later I can say that everything was handled as expected. I hope the entire itinerary is as good when we actually make the trip to Lisbon and back.
Tip for consumers:
Some sitejabber reviews noted some hacked use of financial information entered on faregeek. During the booking process my browsers noticed a page that was not certified with a safe certificate. I overrode the warning and am hoping for the best...after entering my credit card number. I am also monitoring my financial accounts twice daily and my internet and bank security is top notch. Even so, the page warning should not happen with a booking site.
They charged me a different amount on credit card and wouldn't refund extra money through same credit card; rather they want to know bank account number. Sounds fishy

I tried to reschedule a flight. Their Customer service is in India and it is impossible to understand their customer service representatives! It took them 2 weeks to reschedule my flight to Europe. They have emailed me flight info without FLIGHT TIMES! When I asked them to send me a flight schedule with times and flight numbers they just kept sending me the same thing over and over again. They also told me that on certain dates there are NO flights at all form USA to Europe! It is just horrible. I will never ever use their services again! I am really upset and I lost hours and hours on the phone with them!

It has been a little over 2 weeks since I booked. I got a comformation e-mail with a flight number. After a week later I got an e-mail which showed 'your flight has been cancelled'without any notice.
Therefore, I tried to call them for hours and hours. Flnalliy I was able to reach them and they said I had to book again. The price has increased! Anyway I didnt have a chance so I booked with the stuff. But somehow my flight has cancelled again. I called them again but they said the stuff never come to work after she finished call with me. The price gap was 300dollars than I booked at first. My flight has been canceled 2 times, and I couldnt book after all. I will not use this company anymore.

Asking them several times if they were WestJet, they just kept saying they handled all there bookings for them,
We felt very uncomfortable with the deal, so we called WestJet direct and our total cost was almost $500.00 less than what we were quoted from those shiesters. We immediately contacted FareGeek and were told that we had given them written authorization (via e-mail) and told that we could not cancel and get our money back.
We immediately contacted our financial institution and cancelled all billing from them (which the crooks said we could not do). We told WestJet what an outfit they were using for bookings. My husband also called the RCMP Fraud Unit and made a complaint with them. It is really frustrating to the general public when you call an 800 number and are under the impression that you are getting the direct line to whomever you are calling, and you wind up in dealing with fraudulent people..
