International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
The customer service executives were quite helpful when I called them and they resolved my issues with utmost professionalism.
After using this website for about 3 times, I feel it’s really easy and user-friendly. Keep up the good work.
God awful customer service. The WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely do not book through them.
Much cheaper than expedia etc for my ticket but need more people on the phones or even better faster replies to emails.
This website provided me the best ticket option for Bangalore. It was cheap and reasonable. Thank you.
I booked myself a cheap flight tickets from this website to San Francisco. The deal was pocket friendly.
The customer care department of this website is very helpful. They are always available to assist you.
Very RUDE customer service! I read reviews about them and couldn't believe that they can be so bad so I went ahead and booked a trip.
BIG MISTAKE, VERY BIG MISTAKE!
Yes you might save a little compare to other websites and when I say little I mean about 10$ saving though when it comes to customer service they absolutely do not care about your needs or wants or concerns for that matter. They don't even stay behind their promises. I paid 30$ money back guarantee (you should be able to cancel for any reason or change a flight booked without no penalty within one day of booking), totally crap!
I booked this morning a trip with them and called customer service in the afternoon to change the airplane companies that I found more favorable to me and guess what, can't change, can't cancel, if canceled will lose the money for one flight from the entire booking. So what's the 30$ guarantee for I paid? I asked for that amount to be refunded since the guarantee was not honored and of course no refunds.
SO PLEASE! LISTEN and DON'T BOOK WITH THEM! DON"T MAKE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID!
My flight still has to come and go and hopefully all will go well without any other surprises or cancellations or any other changes I hear it can happen and without any notified by the Faregeek.com!
I use a Moto G so I downloaded the app from Android Market and have been using the app to book tickets. It is fast and smooth.
We went with fair geeks as they had the cheapest flight from Calgary CA to Japan. Unfortunately I had misread the return flight boarding time and missed the flight back. This is where I had the worst service experience. I called the call centre to explain the situation. At first the call was going fine. Of course I was panicking but the rep seemed helpful at first, going over the situation and looking at options. We were in Nagoya needing to catch the connecting flight in Tokyo. Here's the thing, if we took the bullet train we could get to Tokyo in ample time. However, there are new regulations where if you miss the first flight of your itinerary there is a chance they won't let you on the rest. Kind of odd, but nonetheless that was fine, no problem.
What the real issue was was the fact the rep then kept going in circles advising that the airline, aircanada wouldn't be able to do anything and they would advise to contact faregeeks. Then went about advising the ticket has to be cancelled and a new one bought. Then he went over options different flight plans blah blah blah... slowly the once seemingly helpful rep starting to annoy me. As I tried to confirm that this was the only option I have and that then I would contact aircanada just to be sure, he kept stalling saying, "wait, there may be another option". He then had the nerve to advise they have a flight from Tokyo (my original flight) and the price would be $2100. It was such a pointless, redundant conversation all while costing me $2.50/min in roaming charges.
Anyway, called aircanada, they were quick and completely changed the whole flight (just so we don't take the risk of getting denied entry since we missed the first part of the itenerary), and $200 change fee which no problem since it was my fault for not confirming the flight time and away we went.
So faregeeks did have the cheap flight and I'm not knocking that... just the terrible service received as I'm sure all of you who rated these guys 1 star have experienced. For that 1 frustrating episode I won't use these guys again even if they have a slightly lower price... just not worth it.
Today, and for the first time in nearly 20 years of traveling, I experienced the most blatantly terrible, fraudulent, sleazy, and just illegal flight tickets theft on www.faregeek.com. I went on that website to purchase flight tickets from JFK to CAI on EgyptAir. Their price was about the same as EgyptAir, but they are based in the States and usually credit card transactions go smoother that way. So, I purchased the tickets and received a "confirmation number" that did not show any output on checkmytip.com. So, waiting 20 minutes without any response or seeing the charge appearing on my CC transactions, I called their number and here comes the fun:
The "Senior" Sales agent, Ms. Julissa went on to tell me that the advertised price is Wrong (!) and that it includes airport taxes but not airlines taxes (bla bla bla) and that the actual price was about $450 more expensive. I was in total shock at this blatant theft. I objected this abhorrent theft, so Ms. Julissa went back to her supervisor and came back to me with a "reduced" airlines "taxes" down to $175... and that struck another nerve. So, I asked Ms. Julissa to remain on hold while I quickly ran my search on the airline website and got EXACTLY the same price announced on www.faregeek.com. Upon conveying those happy news to Ms. Julissa, she went on a state of total confusion and incoherence telling me that this price is not right, that the airlines will ask me to pay extra fees at JFK, bla bla bla, and that I can cancel my transaction and face all those "scary financial threats, unbeknown of to any human being but our friends at www.faregeek.com. Bottom line: yes please, cancel the transaction and she did in a blink. I went on on the airlines website, bought the 4 tickets, got the 6-digit booking ref. In 1 minute, and I am set for my flight.
The evidence: I have both the original confirmation and the cancellation emails from www.faregeek.com.
The verdict: Little do I need to say. We all hate embezzlement and theft, and we hate liars too.

Run Away. Rip off.
This was the first time I used thid dite and I am very pleased with the help I have got. It really helped me save a lot.
I had to have my flight to Vietnam reticketed and was only able to do so after placing over 20 calls to the company. The response I received to many of my calls was that the issue was being handled by the company's "concern department." Every time I called I was put on hold and then told I would be emailed with the outcome once the issue was resolved. When I finally received an email from Martin Sanders in Customer Service it simply told me to call back again. The email also indicated that my issue was low priority, even though I was told otherwise:
Ticket Details
Ticket ID: XXXXX
Department: BookAirFare
Type: Issue
Status: Open
Priority: Low
Evidently they were not concerned whatsoever because no action was taken for 12 hours after my initial call. Finally, at midnight on July 23rd, I was told that my ticket was being reissued and asked to pay $900 in penalties which I agreed to do in order to catch a flight on the 24th. That morning I arrived at the airport, only to be told there was no ticket in my name. When I called the company, they kept giving me a ticket number which did me no good whatsoever because the airline had no record of it and turned me away. Needless to say I rented a car, drove back to Oregon and have an additional $1500 in credit card debt with no vacation to show for it, just 36 hours of extreme frustration with this company in Seattle.
The worst ever experiance in my whole life, i regret the moment that i had booked my trip through this site.
Last time I purchased my tickets from this website my email alerts weren’t in time. This time it was corrected. And I had a much better experience.
First time when I installed the mobile app it was not operating well. I uninstalled it and installed it again, post it worked well.
I ended up canceling my flight and they charged me almost half of the ticket price. No customer service!
This is the worst site I and my husband have ever seen. No one speaks English, you are on hold forever, then they hangup!
BEWARE! Total scam!
After shopping around online for reasonable rates for a brief trip to Toronto the following week, I booked a round trip flight from NYC to Toronto on Faregeek.com for $228.17 on Aug 11th and within minutes received an email confirming my reservation. I made plans around my confirmed reservation, informed others of my plans, and of course stopped shopping around for flight deals. The following day, on Aug 12th, nearly 24 hours since my reservation through Faregeek.com was confirmed I received an email from Faregeek.com requesting to bill my credit card for $516.60, more than twice the amount agreed, which stated "we are unable to confirm your reservation [...] please authorize us to charge you new amount $516.60". I replied to the email stating my displeasure and asking that they please honor the original reservation or take my credit card off their files immediately. I tried shopping around online on other travel booking websites for other options but by then fares had gone up by $100 for my travel dates. I heard no more from Faregeek.com until nearly midnight on Aug 13th when I received a second email, nearly identical to the previous one, stating "we are unable to confirm your reservation [...] please authorize us to charge you new amount $461.20". On Aug 14th I called their customer service *******327 requesting once more that they please honor the original reservation or take my credit card off their files immediately. Very rude and unsympathetic customer service rep. Within minutes of that phone call I received a final email from Faregeek.com stating that my flight reservation had been cancelled. By that time rates had more than doubled for my dates and I was forced to cancel my trip entirely.

STAY AWAY
I as I read some the reviews on this site, it appears that fakegeek is hit or miss, but mostly a miss. I ended buying a ticket from DC to mexico for memorial day weekend from them prior to reading these reviews. The ticket was really cheap and raised an eyebrow, so I decided to stay on them. In buying the ticket, I got a confirmation from them telling me I was confirmed - however, the confirm number is their number, not the airline confirmation number. I waited about an 1 hour, I did not receive any airline confirm, so I called them and was told that my cc was in "approval stage". That didn't sound right, so I checked around on the internet and found this site. After reading here, I called my cc company and they told me this company is not fraudulent, but they have bad ratings - 1 star :(. So, my cc company said they couldn't do anything until faregeek charged my card. Given the reviews here and my CC company's information, I basically decided not to do business with them. To give them one more chance, later that evening, I called faregeek again and asked for my airline confirmation number, so I can reserve my seat. The rep (some Asian Indian dude) said that I was "confirmed" and didn't see the problem. Then mumbled something about putting a request in and then hung up on me. After that call, checked my CC to see, if I had been charged. Alas! I had been charged a 1.00, so called my cc and they told me the charge was an authorization hold. I told them faregeek refused to provided me my airline tickets - which is true, so they canceled the card number and issued me a new card # - Problem solved :) Faregeek called and sent me emails for 3 days telling me CC had been declined and I didn't respond back to them. 2 weeks later, I got my tickets with airline confirmation from expedia at a comparable price without a hassle. If you are currently in this position with faregeek, I suggest you call your credit card company and cancel your number. Yes, it's hassle with a new card #, but you'll be happy that you didn't get the airport on your travel day without a ticket! As folks have indicated here.
Tip for consumers:
if you have used this company cancel your credit card before they complete the transaction. This will avoid heartache after the fact.
I found an amazingly cheap ticket for London (LHR) to Columbus, Ohio (CMH). Delta airlines was giving £738 at their website and Faregeek only £563! It seemed like a "too good to be true" situation. All other sites were quoting over £700 which made me even more believe that this can't be right. Did some research and all that, and of course I got a bit worried. My trip was 4 months ahead so I thought if anything went wrong there was plenty of time to fix it. I booked my ticket on Friday 13/02 and automatically received the "Your air reservation (PNR) number is...", status confirmed. No e-ticket as expected and no credit card charge. By Monday 16/02 night I hadn't heard from them so decided to drop them an e-mail. They never responded but luckily the same night I saw a pending transaction on my credit card from Delta airlines. I then followed the link from the one and only email I ever received from Faregeek which redirected me to the valid 6 letter booking confirmation number along with the e-ticket etc (unless it was there from day one and never noticed?). Checked on Delta site and my name was there. Now the sketchy part is that the next day I got a charge from an agency in Birmingham (JTA TRAVEL GROUP BIRMINGHAM) with the Delta charge still pending! Thank god the Delta pending transaction stayed active for 5 days and then disappeared. It's a bit odd though that there is no e-ticket on the credit card statement. For the time being things are looking great/legit and hopefully there will be no unpleasant surprises till my trip commences in June. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is apparently the amazing deal I got. To conclude, Faregeek looks indeed like a very sketchy site to do business with but at the end of the day I saved £175, right? You can't beat that...

You got to be patient...
I used this website once to get my tickets for Prague and found the website a decent one.
I have been browsing several websites including this one. It's decent and has been useful for me.
I was spoken to politely and with courtesy by the customer care executives when I needed help.
This website has affordable rates all year round. Good for me as I can travel for cheap.
