International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
Their online system put (X) on our last names and on the ticket NOSYNC. Your name has to be exact to fly. They said we put the info on our ticket. Back and forth. Hours wasted. Then they said we had to pay 50 to change it. We had no choice. No one would listen. We paid and they still didn't fix this it. We had to go super early to the airport to talk to the airline admin staff. NEVER EVER WOULD USE AGAIN. Their staff barely speak English. Don't take ownership of important issues like their clients may not be able to travel. They never called back when they said they would or email when they said they would. Horrid!
I bought a ticket through faregeek and got the reservation confirmation email within a few minutes. However, it had been two days since my booking and still no e-ticket, so I called them. I was sent to voicemail the first two times I called but then I got connected to an agent the third time. He was courteous and after a few questions said that he would email me the ticket right away. I stayed on the phone until I got the email a few moments later. I went to the airline website and confirmed my reservation as well. I believe I won't have any issues in my travel since I have the actual airline booking reference but I can't help and wonder what would have happened if I hadn't called and/or not gotten to talk to an agent. Would I still have gotten the ticket?
Very poor customer service. I asked to speak to a supervisor Sage was the person that I was talking told me that all the managers was in a meeting. Then when I said so you telling me that everybody in a meeting she said no 2 of them on a call. I said I will wait then when I asked for their coprate number she hang up on me.
I booked a flight London to houston for £639. A day after I booked the price went down to £400 in to now! My flight is in a week. I needed to change the return date from the 20th of October to the 20th of November. They said the penalty is £350! Rip off! I will not book with them in the future!
I love to travel and always am on the lookout for travel deals to places like Italy, Mexico, Africa, China, India and other European cities. This website always offers the best travel
Package deal and that too at an affordable price rate.
Its been almost 6 months that I have been constantly using this website for my recurrent travel plans. Last time that I booked my tickets for Indonesia I was able to save close to $18 and sometime back when I booked my tickets for Paris In saved near about $11, which to be is a good bargain.
I booked my tickets before seeing the reviews, as the site looks quite "official"/"secure" (flight Montreal-SF)
After having booked my tickets, I started freaking out based on the comments... but I received the tickets purchase confirmation in less than 1h and the e-tickets in 48h.
Everything worked well finally.
FareGeek did not process my credit. Then when I called customer service, the agent repeatedly tried to find reasons why he couldn't help me. Finally, when he tried to book my flight for me and I asked him why I couldn't find a flight online and use a code to apply the credit, he began to shout at me. I am now waiting for a callback since I requested a supervisor and he failed to put one on. What kind of company is this? Search online for reviews and you'll find countless reasons not to use their services.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE FAREGEEK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Dear David, We apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per our telephonic conversation the issue raised has already been resolved and certainly looking forward to serve you in future.
Previously when I had to get my tickets to Toronto and Vancouver for my work tour I had to depend on this website as my HR manager was on leave. I loved the service and faced no issues. Now when I am planning a tour to Australia for a wellness seminar and workshop I am planning to use this website again.
Bought a ticket with them Toronto to Amsterdam, with a return ticket via Paris. Everything looked fine on the email I got, and when I tried to check in before my flight they had changed my flights with end Destination PARIS! Instead of Amsterdam. I spent 2 hours on the help line, useless! And finally I receive a call from one of the staff from Faregeek who says it was my fault!. I lost it... finally the only way they could arrange my situation is that I had to travel Toronto- Amsterdam - Paris - Amsterdam! Ridiculous! And On my return they didn't give me a ticket with luggage, and I'm on the standby for the Paris Toronto Flight!
DON'T USE THIS SITE!
Dear Juan, We regret and apologize for the inconvenience caused as we understand our services did not meet your expectations. Please be advised that we tried to locate your confirmation details but couldn’t find one. So would request you to kindly share your confirmation number, booking ID, email ID and contact number so that we can check internally and have a call back arranged from our Supervisor.
After reading a few of these reviews I was having a potential 'brownpant' moment. I had booked my flight and checked with the airline but still no e ticket. It took them 2 days to send it to me. Not sure why it took so long but cross checked with airline and it was booked. Why not just send the eticket straight away? Worth the ticket saving on this occasion.
I found a ticket on skyscanner. Skyscanner redirected me to faregeek. As I reached check out, the total price that I was shown for my ticket was $142.80. I clicked the check out button, and they charged me $14.99 in "additional fees." When I called to get them to explain to me why the extra charge was there and why I hadn't been notified BEFORE clicking "check out", the guy on the phone (manager) was rude, wouldn't listen to me, and ultimately hung up on me while I was trying to speak.
Twice I have booked with this comapany and both times it has been an aweful experience. The first was no mistake on your beahalf but the customer service was aweful, Rude, slow and pretended to not speak english when couldnt answer my questions.
The second time an email you sent went to my junk box for whatever reason and you decided to cancel my flight even though you have a contact phone number for me, when I called to try to fix the situation again I found the person I delt with Rude and not Helpful.
I certainly will not give you my business again.
I booked a flight with faregeek in February. Washington to Krakow, Warsaw to Cologne, Frankfurt to Washington. When I attempted to check in at Warsaw airport I was told that no ticket had been issued by German Wings even though I had a faregeek reservation in hand. Therefore, I had to purchase another ticket even though I had already paid for this leg of the trip through faregeek. When I returned to the states I phoned faregeek only to be told this situation was not their problem.
Just recently booked flights to China,
It was a bit worry-some given the bad reviews I've seen, but here's an account of my experience
Friday - 00:05 - booked flights via faregeek, received immediate email with status: Confirmed
Friday - 05:10 - received phone call from faregeek but missed it
Friday - 08:00 - called back via customer service line (waited 25mins) told me nothing required and e-tickets will be issued soon (1 to 2 business days)
Friday - 15:00 - checked credit card and it had been charged
Saturday - 08:00 - called back to put some pressure on the agent (3min wait). Told them nicely I was looking to get ticket confirmations, Agent looked at the file and sent me the e-ticket.
Overall experience, it was definitely worrisome, but I ended up saving $500 dollars because I booked the flights WAY too late.
Would I recommend it? Probably not, but I wouldn't condemn it either considering they really offered the lowest fare.
Good luck!
Booked flt on line. Their site put me into charlotte not charleston. I called them within 5 minutes of booking to end up on the phone over an hour and a half. Flt to Charleston was accually cheaper, however they wanted to charge me 170 dollars to change ticket even if it was no fault of mine. They are very rude and and requested information from me that was sensitive data. They finally canceled my flight which had not been booked yet and ONLY CHARGED me 75 dollars! They did force me to email them that I agrred to fee or they would not refund any of my transaction. (My card had not been run yet even.) Will never do business with these people again. They were not willing to give me any information about the company, CEO, SUPERVISOR ETC.

Would not use these guys!
To faregeek and anyone that tries to purchase flights with them. I am still waiting on a refund for a flight cancelation that was issued back in October (the 22). It's been 2 months and have been waiting patiently and nothing! Now, I am really upset and had to get my bank involved- and have yet to receive my refund. My email I received from faregeek states my booking was canceled and that I would receive my refund within 2 months- it's December 23 today and I haven't received anything. I am really disappointment especially because it's christimas time, you would think cooperations that make so much money would be considerate and have excellent customer service. I WILL NEVER purchase a flight through them ever again! Nor will I suggest or refer anyone to them. I have called numerous of times and everyone I spoke to does not have a answer. Very disappointed!
A very unsatisfied customer,
Valeria

I would give them zero stars if I could. I've essentially lost $500 even though I was told I could easily re-book for a fee after canceling. They're quoting me flight prices $400+ higher than what I see online. I'm so angry I don't even want to call them back. SERIOUSLY, STAY AWAY.
Faregeek is a good source of getting cheap air tickets for international flights. The flight timings that they offer are also quite flexible which makes it easier for me to arrange my journeys.
This was my first time online airline booking through faregeek.com! The online procedures were easy & I could get it done all by myself. So far, a good experience.
Initially, to understand a couple of things I had frequently called up the customer care department. Every time the executives helped me with great patience and co-operation.
I had gone through lot of websites but found this website with great deals which suited my budget. I really liked the site for its easy access. Above all the amazing service received.
They confirmed the flight by email before I even knew it was done. Didn't even let me chose my seats. Getting a hold of customer service is ridiculous.
Attempted to book a flight through them, but cancelled because the transaction was not processed when I had been sent a confirmation email.
A few months later I have learnt that my bank card details have been stolen and someone has tried to take out money on several accounts. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS.
DO. NOT. BOOK. WITH. THEM.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! We booked our ticket from Vancouver to Calgary because it showed up as the cheapest on faregeek. Two days later, we get an email with a booking number that WASNT EVEN OURS and said that they cancelled our flight!
HOW DO YOU JUST CANCEL A FLIGHT. We tried calling, put on hold for 45 minutes just to get some bad English speaking indian man from a call center in India telling us it was the airlines fault. WHAT. THE. HELL. With all the time that passed by, the tickets already sky rocketed through the roof and we had to purchase a ticket elsewhere for a higher price.
SAVE YOURSELF THE EXTRA DOLLARS AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.
THEY'RE NOT EVEN WORTH A 1 STAR. THEY ARE WORTH -**************001 STARS.
