International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
I have just been to the site but did not purchase any ticket. I found the site a user friendly. In future if I purchase ticket I will take it from here.
I was facing a problem with booking ticket from the website. I called the customer care website and my problem was addressed and managed very well. It was sorted in 20 minutes.
I was amazed to check-out the offers this website was offering on Paris airline tickets. It was too good to be true. Since I was planning a tour, I reserved by air tickets from this website.
First time when I used this website I found it to be having some lagging areas. Few days back when I used it the second time, I was pleasantly surprised with the service and website speed.
Absolutely horrible. Booked 3 tickets to Europe for about $1500, have our confirmation # and everything. About 10 hours later receive a call (hidden #) saying our flight was CANCELLED. (Not everything, keep reading). Shortly after, we find the same exact flight for $1800+. I give faregeek a call thinking it was a joke because it was hidden #, and they say that the price we had purchased them at was a promotional value and they had no more tickets at that price. Let me remind you that at first they said our flight was cancelled now theyre saying crap about promotional value. There was nothing on our page about this being a promotional value and that there was a chance that we might not be able to get those tickets. I understand if there was a warning or a message stating but there was nothing! This company decided to cancel our THREE tickets because the flight we purchased tickets for had gotten a lot of other buyers and so they decided to raise the prices, AFTER we purchased our tickets and had our confirmation #. Extremely unethical, unreasonable and unprofessional. Dont waste your time or money with this company.
The first time I downloaded the mobile app it didn't work perfectly. The second time I installed it, the ticket booking and other browsing happened all in a breeze. Great app service.
I use my mobile for all online transactions. I downloaded the website’s mobile app and booked the tickets on the go. The app is fast, smooth and very useful.
I had faced alot of issues while booking through the site. So I called customer service people and they were so helpful that it was easy in booking and getting the ticket as well.
I recently downloaded the websites android app in my Smartphone and booked my tickets to Bali. The app worked perfectly well and the tickets got booked at the earliest and smooth.
I was looking for some good discounted tickets. I came across this site. For my preferred destination I got my tickets with good saving from this site.
I recently returned from a trip to New York that I booked via FareGeek.
The tickets were cheap (much cheaper than direct with the airline) and although I thought it was too good to be true, I booked anyway.
After I booked I didn't receive email confirmation of my ticket from the airline and started to read some reviews (a lot of which were negative) and became very worried. I tried to phone them up but was on hold for ever. I did email them however and received prompt responses assuring me to stay tight and that the e-tickets might take over 24 hours to arrive.
After a sleepless night, sure enough the next day I received confirmation of the tickets and could login to the airline's booking system and check the details. Although this was a massive relief I still worried that the agent (FareGeek) could cancel the booking.
The end result was that everything was fine and if I hadn't had read any reviews I wouldn't have worried and thought anything of it really. After receiving the booking confirmation, the rest of the process was like it would have been if we'd booked direct through the airline, although the tickets were cheaper! Something FareGeek explain on their FAQ (http://faregeek.com/faq.php).
Tip for consumers:
Ensure you don't make any mistakes when booking as you won't be able to amend your booking details.
These guys are just horrible. While getting a refund, they tried to rip me off, and while doing so, they were not only rude but disrespectful. DO NOT USE these guys.
I book tickets (London Rio de Janeiro thru Paris), they asked details of my card i sent them photo of my card 2 side and drive document (never before no one company asmked) than call on hot line (its expensive from London) silly girl told that all is good, i asked Twice because trip long and hotel booked in Rio de Janeiro.
In result i came to airport ticket just booked but no sold i call them, explain situation, other silly girl said: wait plz... keep in waiting 18 min untill money finished on my phone.MY HOLIDAYS $#*! UP, I LOST MORE THAN 1000 POUNDS FOR HOTEL...
THIS IS LIE COMPANY.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! This company is also Bookairfare.com, so don't be fooled! They charged my mother and I more than we agreed to pay and never refunded the extra money. Then my husband's and my return flight from Paris to San Diego got cancelled and they never notified me. I happened to check online a few weeks ahead of time and called the company to fix the problem. (Thank goodness I did, otherwise my husband and I would have been stranded at the airport indefinitely!) At that point they said that there would no seats available and that they couldn't get us home until over 24 hours later. They would not pay for the extra expenses that we would incur as a result of the changes. I called over 20 times, always waiting on hold for at least 20 minutes before the phone even got picked up, only to have someone tell me that there was nothing the company could do and that I was just out of luck. The agents even had the nerve to get mad at me for calling! While the company says they are in Delaware it is very obvious that they are located overseas, if for no other reason than the fact that I was asked if there was a "local train from New York to San Diego" that I could take instead of flying. Seriously?! Bookairfare/Faregeek refused to take responsibility for anything and made it obnoxiously difficult to even get home after I had already paid for a return flight. I will only buy tickets directly through the airlines now as a result of this painstakingly frustrating experience!
Tip for consumers:
DON'T!
I bought three tickets from Canada to Eastern Europe on Faregeek. Then, to my horror, I discoovered the horrible reviews on this site. I panicked, even got a little paranoid after I called them several times, well within their working hours, and ended up in their voice mail every single time. I was seriously considering cancelling my credit card at that point, when I caled them once more and they answered. It was a lady with an Indian accent, but she was polite, articulate and easy to understand. She reassured me that everything was OK, my reservation was ticketed, and she was going to send me an email with the ticketing confirmation number -- which she did. I verified with Lufthansa and everything checks out 100%. FareGeek charged me exactly what they had originally said they would. It took almost a week before my credit card showed the charge, so I was secretly hoping that I would travel free :) No such luck, but between the three tickets, I saved at least $500 or $600 versus anyone else.
I don't think they have a system to put you on hold when you call. This is a budget operation. If they're already on the phone (which is probably most of the time, I would think), you'll end up in their voice mail. Do not panic. Leave them a message, or call again until you get through. When you do get through, the upside is that you'll talk to a human being right away instead of being put on hold.
Think about it -- would they really still be in business in 2013, after a few years of operations, if they were not legit?
I think I've figured it out - these people are actually like robots. At their training sessions they are actually told to answer each question with the same answer. Eg. I asked to speak to a supervisor - response "they are on a break". Hung up - called back 1/2 hour later - told the same thing - called back every day after that and told the same thing. Eg. I asked the status of my refund - told to wait 24 hours - it would be back in my account. 24 hours later called back to say I had not yet received it. Now they tell me to wait 72 hours. This is almost funny. Eg. Was told my refund was deposited back to my account and to check with my bank - checked with my bank - you guessed it - NOTHING. Now I am on hold again waiting for CHARLOTTE - as she is the "supervisor" for these types of refunds. But I'm on hold because "she's on break". I asked them if they read there reviews on-line because they are pathetic. I'm told by BEN that "no one writes good reviews". Wow are you guys living in the 18th century. I told him to read some of the reviews on the other travel sites. Maybe they don't know how to access the other sites.
I was excited to see that flights from JFK to Moscow were running about $397. I compared a few sites, and Faregeek came in at $395. I booked two tickets on a Tuesday evening. On Thursday morning I received an email from Faregeek informing me that my credit card was declined. I called Discover immediately, and was told they did not decline any charges on my card, and a charge from Faregeek had never even come through. So I called Faregeek immediately and explained what Discover told me. The customer service rep didn't know why it was declined, but it was and I would have to rebook. The flight price he quoted me was almost $200 higher than what I originally booked. I declined and he offered me a lower price that was still about $100 more than the originally advertised price. I had several other travel sites pulled up, all of which offered the original $397 price. I told him that and said I was going with one of them. I hung up and booked immediately with Kayak. Later that same day I checked Faregeek again on a whim, just to see what price they were advertising. They again had the $395 price listed. I think they are very dishonest, and wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
Do not book through this website... was sent there through flight scanner booked and got my confirmation... called them a few days later to make a change only to be told because I used a third party card and didn't complete the authorization form they sent via email I have rebook my flight and by that time the fare was more than double the price. I never received an email after searching for it I found it in my junk folder... I do think if it's something of such importance they should have called me to advise me that there was an issue after all I had no idea because I had already received my confirmation and my status was confirmed. I never gave problems using my chase visa card anywhere else anyhow they refused to meet me half way I wasn't going to pay 1100 for a flight that I booked at 400. They were so unprofessional I got voice mail constantly and finally got through by email only for them to tell me too bad book with today's price. Wouldn't even meet me half way. Awful customer service!
I made an online reservation with Faregeek 6 weeks before my first flight. I received an email confirmation. The day before the flight, I wanted to print my boarding passes. When I went back to the site, I learned that the reservation had been cancelled. I phoned the Faregeek number & after being on hold over 45 min., I was told by the service agent that I had been notified of the cancellation the day after I made it. There was no message from Faregeek on that date. He said "they" cancelled it, but couldn't tell me who "they" were or why the reservation was cancelled. He would not do anything to assist me. Fortunately, I was not charged for the flights. But I wonder if Faregeek was involved in the compromise of my credit card I used to make the reservation. Soon after making the online reservation, there were simultaneous charges in Seattle & Greece & I cancelled that card. I can't help but wonder if there was a connection between the compromise of my credit card & the Faregeek reservation. I don't believe that this is a legitimate business. Stay away!
After searching five to six different travel websites I came across this site where I found tickets to Myanmar at an affordable price. Since I was looking for cheap tickets I opted in for this deal.
If i could give zer I would, I booked my ticket to havana, they took the money, the send me the confirmation but not the electronic ticket, after 2 days i contacted them to ask when i was going to receive it, they said to me that they cancelled the ticket WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW! THEN my money was credited back and when i contacted them the price has increase, i had to send my credit card details and after 4 days NOTHING, I have send 4 emails asking and nothing not even a reply... i decided to let it go in case that it was a scam... Called my bank to tell them to block that company from taking the money
Tip for consumers:
stay away, sometimes, we can pay a high price for the "cheapest fare"
When I made the mistake of booking with this company, my airline ticket was confirmed to me by email for the right day but actually booked for the wrong day with the airline. When I found out the actual ticket was for the wrong date, I was told by Faregeek that I would be charged a change fee and the fare difference for the now higher fare to fly on the original date that I had requested and had a confirmation from Faregeek for. When I called the airline, it was much less to just book a new ticket directly with the airline. I also found out from the airline that the ticket price I was charged by faregeek booked for the wrong date was actually more than twice as much as the normal fare charged by the airline, as there was a commission charged of more than the ticket price. Bottom line, I was charged more than twice the cost of the airline ticket, sent an email with confirmation for the right date I requested, with the actual flight booked on the wrong date with the airline, Faregeek then tried to charge a cancellation fee, and an additional fee to have the ticket record corrected to receive the correct date that was confirmed to me via email already at a price more than twice as much as the actual directly with the airline..
I was in a hurry to book my ticket to Peru, as my grandmother was not well. There was no time to book but then I used my faregeek app for the booking and it helped me alot. Thank you!
I have used this website for about 4 times now. It’s fast and tickets are cheap. I have bookmarked it now and get most of my tickets from this website.
I checked the Air Canada website again after a phone conversation to rebook (at over $500) and coincidentally the flights on January 2nd are back down to $360. I am disgusted with the tactics you clearly used to deceive a customer like me. To find a way to spike the prices for Jan 2nd and 1st while I am trying to rebook at that specific time is sickening. Before the phone call and after the phone call (including right now) the prices are back down to $360 & $260. I have also contacted Air Canada because clearly you must be working together to rip off customers, like you just did. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this disgusting attempt to rip off customers through your company. I am a teacher and a coach in the community and I will do all that I can to make it clear to everyone I meet to never use a company that goes out of their way to cheat their customers. I took pictures of the Air Canada website with the reduced price on the two dates before our conversation on the phone and right after we rebooked, that clearly shows the price it should be.
Don't every use this site, based on this, clearly they are all about deceiving the customer.
