International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
It's been three times I have purchased my tickets online thru this website, for Bali, USA and
India and every time I got a great price.

What's wrong with their reserving system? We tried 3 different credit cards (domestic included) yet they couldn't do anything. Worst travel agency ever.
I booked my ticket with Faregeek before I read the reviews, and I started getting a bit nervous. I had to book a last minute flight to the UK (booked Thursday, flying Saturday), and when I didn't receive an e-ticket, I started really getting nervous. Then, the company updated an airline confirmation number on the website, which I tried using on the airline's website. When I kept getting error reports, I freaked out a bit, especially as the credit card payment had already gone through.
I e-mailed the company multiple times in panic, and they kept responding that things were fine. I had also tried calling them, but kept getting voicemail. In the last e-mail from them (Friday), they gave me a ticket number (which was already posted on the website, but I couldn't use on the airline website), telling me to call the airline using that. I did, and it turns out everything WAS fine. The airline confirmed my flight, and I will leave this afternoon.
So I would like to say my fears were unfounded, and the company was actually pretty good about getting back to me through e-mail.
They only cheat customers by their wordings, no customer service they charge for each services which is free to other agencies. THINK TWICE before using it.

On Thursday night, I booked a flight to India using this website. I received a confirmation email confirming my flight. The next day, I received an email from Faregeek telling me my booking had been CANCELLED with NO explanation. Just a generic "your booking has been cancelled." I responded and asked why my flight had unilaterlly been cancelled. Their response cited a "booking agreement" and they said they had left me a message about this. Complete lies. I never received a call from Faregeek and still have not received any calls from them. When I searched for the flight to rebook, the price increased by $200. I called faregeek and after hours and hours of waiting and making multiple calls, I have been given multiple conflicting reasons for the flight cancellation (one of which is that the airline refused to honor the "deal" that faregeek had advertised. Apparently, faregeek does not confirm prices with the airline before offering those prices. What kind of business does that?). They are a nightmare to deal with and I would recommend paying a little extra and using a different website to book your flights. If you use this site, I really hope that a flight has actually been reserved for you and that you actually make it to your final destination.
BE PATIENT... and I know in this day and age we are used to instant tickets and instant fund withdrawal, well Fare Geek doesn't work that way, which for the majority of us can be horribly alarming.
Fare Geek must be a small company... it took 12 HOURS for my e-tickets to come in my email and much panic on my part. BUT... they are there in my e-mail (I just looked at them), the money was taken from my account in the amount as said, I now have boarding passes and all.
I did call customer service in a panic, about an hour after I bought them, he told me that the wait time was 4-6 hours... NOT TRUE, he was a bit brusk ( I'm sure inundated with these same queries) but as someone on this site mentioned, selecting option 2 will get you straight to an ACTUAL HUMAN instead of just listening to wait music for a half hour, the way I first did.
The reason I'm giving 4 stars- the astronomically and terrifying wait time for tickets, and the rude guy on the phone. Other then that I got a great deal on over seas tickets!

NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They have the WORST customer service I have ever seen. Found them rude, condescending and constantly talk over top of you. They also do not respond to emails nor do they call you back even when they "promise" to do so. This company has brought me to tears with frustration and I have wasted so many hours on the phone, on hold and dealing with them over a credit that was owed to us. We had bought two tickets and had to cancel one due to an emergency, we were told that we had a credit we could use within a year. Trying to get a hold of the company was difficult enough but waiting around for them to figure out our credit with air canada took 3 weeks and the price increased by $200.00 and they refused to offer the price when we initially tried to book. We dealt with 4 different people and all had the same rude attitude and just passed us off to other people, no one would help. In the end we would have saved more money had we not used the credit they owed us, we lost $350.00 initially and spent $400.00 more on the new tickets. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MORE $$. Use any other company or even better book directly with the airline. I have learned my lesson.

They are the $#*!ing worst ever! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. They tricked me to book with a cheap price and canceled my reservation. I called the customer service and told them the situtation... they $#*!ing hang up on me. THEY ARE THE $#*!ING WORST EVER!

FareGeek is a disaster! I booked a trip online and received an email that said CONFIRMED. Two days later, I had not received etickets do I contacted the airline. They had no record whatsoever of a reservation in my name. I called FareGeek, and got a man with an Indian accent who was abrupt and rude. So I said there was no reservation made, please cancel my attempt to get tickets. He said that the tickets (that did not exist) were not cancellable or refundable. And, I would have to pay him $250.00 per ticket to cancel (tickets that did not exist and were not cancellable). I called my credit card company and no charge had been made. Therefore, no reservations had been made, no tickets existed, and that Indian crook wanted me to pay him $250.00 per ticket to do nothing. I then cancelled the credit card, so those crooks could not sell the credit card information, called back FareGeek and told them to cancel whatever they claimed to be doing, and that they would never be paid anything by me. The Indian man who answered this time then wanted my credit card information again, and I declined. In sum, FareGeek seems to be a FRAUD, and is probably dishonest in a variety of ways. My advive - NEVER use FAREGEEK for anything

I booked 2 tickets from Vancouver to New York 2 days ago. Right away, I got an email with a confirmation number. Today, I got a call from someone while I was at work. I had 3 missed calls and a voicemail msg. I could barely understand the guy's msg... he didn't indicate that he was calling regarding my booking and he mumbled something about a website that I couldn't make out. I tried calling him back but it kept going to his voicemail so ultimately I thought its a telemarketer. This evening, I had a bad feeling and was still waiting for my e-tickets so I decided to call fare geek and find out when I was going to get my tickets. The guy had an indian accent and put me on hold, comes back and tells me my flights have been canceled. I was like how are they cancelled when I still see the airline has the same flights... he keeps telling me the airline cancelled the tickets. No apology, a liar and downright rude like I was wasting his time. I was furious and demanded to know why I didn't get a notification. He said they contacted me earlier and left me a voicemail. I told him I didn't understand a word in the voicemail and tried calling back with no luck. After I hung up with him I get an email saying my flights are cancelled. Worst service of my life. Tickets have doubled in the last 2 days but luckily I got reasonable tickets after cutting my trip shorter and having a mini breakdown. Stay away from this agency.

We are scammed by booking the flight. It was $20 lower than other sites. After I booked it, it e-mailed me back to say the fare is expired and asked me for the new charge. I made 2 different reservations and both came the same. I then called back to cancel it, of course it was on hold. Finally talked to the guy and he asked me to respond the e-mail back to cancel it and it cannot be canceled by phone. I then cancel it though the e-mail. I called the credit card company to make sure they did not charge my credit card and they didn't. After 2 minutes, I found out my credit card information was stolen. The credit card company told me someone from out of state charged $3.25 but the credit card information was key in during this transaction. Thanks to the credit card company! This is a new card and I only used it for the air ticket booking transaction only. So I for sure know that it was stolen by them. My concern is that I entered a lot personal information when I booked the flight because I booked an international flight and they asked me birthday too. I am going to report to BBB. Stay away because your credit card will be stolen right away.

Terrible experience. I'll keep this brief, as I've already wasted a lot of time with FareGeek. Bottom line is, I was billed at a price, verbally confirmed the email billing, and then charged a higher price on my credit card statement. I've dealt with 4 customer service representatives, including a "supervisor", and I only had a good/professional experience with one of them. All very rude, argumentative and at the end of the day, were dishonest with pricing. Please avoid this company AT ALL COST. I have literally never had a worse customer service experience in my entire life both in physical retail locations and online. If you want to save yourself a headache and your hard earned dollars, go with someone else!

Keep my money, Faregeek and I'll keep my opinion and share my terrible experience with as many people as possible so they can avoid what would surely be a horrible experience, and the theft of their hard earned cash!
