International air tickets are generally costly, so when you have a site like this it becomes fairly easy for you to travel. I have used their services numerous times and every time I was blessed with cheap airfare deals.
I booked my flight on Saturday, February 21 and got an immediate confirmation stating my flight was confirmed. After 10 mins, I get a follow up email stating there was a credit card mismatch. I tried calling them several times for the next 48 hours, waiting from 30 minutes to 1 hr and still could not get a hold of a customer service representative. Someone finally emails me stating the flight increased from $765 to $815. I told them that I will only authorize a payment with the original booking price and I haven't heard from them yet.
When I called up the customer care for a query I had, the executive attended me instantly and my problem was solved super fast.
I find this website easy to use. The web pages load fast both in laptop as well as mobile. And the services are reliable.
I really wish I would have read some of these reviews before I purchased (or should I say, thought I purchased) a flight from the SCAM ARTISTS at FareGeek.
Like the hundreds of people before me, I purchased a flight for a friend of mine and I to travel for a conference. I received an email with a CONFIRMATION number, assuming that was our flight reservation number. Then the idiots at faregeek call my cell phone like 4 times the next morning while I was in class and left a message saying 'there was an issue with the flight', So I call back right away and speak to some guy who I can barely hear and understand and he says 'oh no, the flights are fine and confirmed, we just want to confirm payment with this credit card' So I say 'okay thats fine charge the card'
Then 2 days later I get an email addressed to the person I'm travelling with saying her fair was on hold and we had to call back.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE CALLED I'VE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 45+ MINUTES. So frustrating. Then i called back today and they said OUR RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED. Then I went on to say how I dont understand how a company could operate like this and the piece of $#*! operator HUNG UP ON ME,. He was also incredibly rude before that and kept cutting me off when I was talking
So keep in mind all this crap with the tickets is occurring 3 days before I'm supposed to leave, and flight prices have TRIPLED, and as a student I cant afford this.
I am contacting a lawyer about a class action law suit. I am so livid right now... DONT EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Tip for consumers:
DONT EVER USE THIS SITE! PLEASE STAY AWAY!
Dear FareGeek,
I am glad to hear [three days after arriving] that you cancelled my booking with you – and therefore won't be charged. I check often to make sure.
After I supplied Faregeek a credit card, and filled out and returned the pdf, I spoke to one of your operatives, and was assured that the credit card had worked, that the booking was confirmed, and that my ticket was okay. I asked him THREE times if my booking was good and he replied over and over not to worry, that it was.
Imagine my fury, then, when I arrived at Heathrow after a 3 hour journey to find that I had no ticket. Fortunately, the plane was delayed, I was able after a barrage of phone calls to find another travel agent that had a ticket for the same flight for only £30 more than yours. The very same credit card that I gave you worked and paid for this ticket.
Throughout this process I tried to contact Faregeek; no one ever answered the phone.
I would not try to book through you again if hell were freezing over and I am earnestly trying to tell all my friends and acquaintances and anyone else I meet the same thing: NEVER, EVER USE FAREGEEK.

I purchased my ticket to Italy using the mobile app and everything was all good. Loved the service and will use it again.
I purchased my cheap tickets to Canada from this website. I got it at the last hour, still I grabbed a great deal.
DO NOT TRUST FAREGEEK. DO NOT BOOK WITH FAREGEEK.
I have booked through faregeek periodically over the years without any difficulty. My most recent booking, however, went very poorly. My flight to Tampa went without hitch, but when I went to the airport to fly away the airline had no record of me. My flights had been cancelled by faregeek without notification. I called their number and was told that an email had been sent and a call had been made to my cell, but neither was received. The phone agent told me a superviser would call me back within two hours (claiming that he was in a meeting), so I waited at the airport. 4 hours later, there was still no call. When I called again I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours before the superviser would call me back. Needless to say, this was frustrating. I was advised to book another flight, but the prices were four times higher due to booking then at the last minute. (My original booking was done well in advance.) I had little choice, though. It was a full 47 hours before the superviser called, and he would not apologize and said that the contract stated that the flight was not confirmed. He offered a $25 voucher. This was a few weeks ago, and now he will not take my calls or forward contact information for a Senior Manager, and takes days or weeks to respond to my email messages. I cannot stress how negligent they have been.
DO NOT TRUST FAREGEEK. DO NOT BOOK WITH FAREGEEK.
I have used the website for couple of months. Theres always some or the other discounted deal on offer. Its good for me as I keep traveling.
-******* you are a rip off. I bought my ticket, got confirmation went to the airport and found out I had nothing booked. United airline had nothing
The site is very friendly and offer good price too. I have recommended a lot of my friends and family members. They also had a good experience.
I booked my tickets for Germany recently to attend a corporate seminar and saved as much as $20. That was a big deal for me. Thank you!
I'm giving it 5 stars mostly because the other reviews are sooooo bad, and I don't understand why.
I purchased my tickets from NY to Australia with them, even after reading so many bad reviews; obviously because the prices were very good. I purchased my tickets, a few days later I contacted the airline and they said that indeed I was in their system and that everything was good. Today, about 2 weeks after I purchased my ticket, I get a phone call and an email from them saying that my departure has been changed from the 11th to the 12th. I obviously wasn't happy, so i called the airline, and they told me it was their fault... they were the ones changing it, so Faregeek had nothing to do with it. Then I contacted Faregeek (through email) and got an answer right away; literally 5-7 minutes after my email. After that, Them and I emailed back and forth like 7 times, all within about 40 minutes! And keep in mind, this was about 12am! So I'm not sure why people complain about their customer service. I did notice their English is not the best, but it is good enough...
They also wanted to charge me $50 for canceling my reservation, but after explaining to them that the airline was going to do it for me for free, they decided to not charge me the $50 processing fee they have.
So although it's too bad this flight did not work out with them, I honestly can't say anything bad about them.

I booked my ticket to Los Angeles from this website using the mobile app and everything went on smooth and correct. Its just like the website.
I used this website after I was recommended by my friend. The service is good and the alerts are on time.
The mobile app is even faster than the website when you browse it from your Smartphone. The discounts too are great.
This is a scam! Stay away from this company. They will book you on the wrong flight, never answer the phone
I recently bought tickets using Faregeek. They had a reasonable ticket price and the best routing for two of our four family members to go to Germany on very short notice to go to the funeral of my mother in law.
We, however, didn't check all our passports (absolutely our fault) and on the day before we were due to leave, Sept. 22, discovered my 11-year-old son's passport was expired. We called Fare Geek and while courteous, they were not able to do anything to change or delay our tickets or otherwise even show any sympathy about our situation. I have been on the phone with them every day trying to get something done about the $1300 ticket on Lufthansa and they insist that there is nothing to be done due to a '7 days advance purchase rule.' They have told me numerous times they will call the Lufthansa help desk and get back to me. They did not. They now don't even answer my calls.
I finally asked a lawyer friend of mine to call them and they answered on the second ring. After she asked them all my questions over again and told them they had a 'PR nightmare' on their hands, they sent me an email:
Dear xxxxx,
As per the call conversation with the airline there is a 7 days advance purchase rule, so we cannot issue the ticket on 25sep there should be a gap of 7 days from the date of issuance of ticket so you can email us flexible date after 1st Oct

I have explained that Lufthansa had told me there was such thing as an 'out of sequence request' that could be made and also because of the funeral there could be a bereavement fare to be explored. They have looked into neither.
I am now faced with the fact that my children won't be at their grandmother's funeral. They are both very sad and my husband, as you can imagine, is bereft that he will be alone at his mother's funeral.
Looks like mine is the same old story with this horrible company... booked a ticket to fly from Canada to Europe 3 weeks before. Read the awful reviews about Faregeek and crossed my fingers. 5 days later we get an email saying they had cancelled our ticket because they could not verify our credit card info (why couldn't they have sent an email saying, "contact us immediately about your credit card or we will need to cancel the ticket"?). That's when the panic set in... here we were 2 weeks before flight date without a ticket. Called Faregeek back, was put on hold, disconnected... tried calling back and could not get through for 45 minutes before being disconnected again so I decided to purchase the ticket on another site for $20 more (after all, they had sent an email saying the ticket was cancelled). A few days later I see a charge on our credit card for the Faregeek ticket! Now I have 2 tickets, both paid for with the same credit card. They never sent an email to confirm that they had rebooked; as far as we knew it had been cancelled! This is when one of the booking agents at Faregeek started getting really nasty as we kept calling to sort it out. He called my son on the phone at one point and started threatening to cancel both tickets... Anyway, after many wasted hours and a lot of anger and frustration, our credit card company said they would take care of settling it--thankfully! Now, one month later I am looking at my credit card account and I see 2 fraudulent transactions on my card made through paypal (one was made 5 days after this general fiasco and the other 1 month later, both for around $250). I can't help but think it must have been someone from Faregeek. STAY AWAY!
I was planning to visit Cambodia and when I got my holidays it was the eleventh hour to book my tickets. Still this website offered me a decent deal.
We needed a flight on a 2 days notice. They have been quick and efficient and by far the least expensive. We got a really good experience with them.
For the past 7 months I have been using this travel website very frequently as I find the prices good and the service on time. It is very useful.
I have been using this website frequently. I find most of the deals cheaper than others and the prices reasonable.
It’s been two months that I have been using this website and booked my tickets thrice. I faced no hassles.
I love faregeek.com, because I always get the best price and offers on tickets. The customer service is good too.
