I would actually give them a negative star if I could! I will be trolling this garbage customer service company to every outlet every day until the day I die! I'll just get to the main point of why I feel this way not to mention all the bull$#*!, and hoops I had to jump through in order to get to this point, but hey hear we go. They lost My bag for over 3.5 months, I fight for this to be a reality, and they return it broken with $#*! missing, and ignore my emails, phone calls in order to get my compensation. They give you the run around, promise things that never happen. I'm entitled to 2175 cdn dollars within there terms and agreements, but they will never deal with the issue and keep lying, and passing the buck. I am going to global news, and lawyer for what mine, and won't stop until I get it. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this pond scum of a company cheaper isn't always better trust me I paid 10x more In the long run.

While I understand cheaper flights come with some compromises, I don't believe poor quality of service and last minute expenses are worth it. I have been a frequent traveller with flair, using the same personal bag for work (6 flights in 2 months all flair) 3 different airports. I most frequently fly into Waterloo. This is the first time I've left Waterloo and they have decided (my bag that fits under my seat even when I'm in the middle) is too large and charges me a last minute $60.00. How are you gonna charge someone on a return flight. I'm going back with the exact bag I came with. I was told I have been receiving free bags during my flight and the airports aren't doing their job.(including theirs I guess because I used the same bag in April when I was in the airport last) with zero issues.

Very misleading agents! They all have different views and points they don't go buy the book? They just pressurize you to buy tickets they are offering or trying to extract more money from you because you are already going through a certain situation instead of helping you find a solution all they can think of is ways to charge you more money... very disappointed with their service desks they need to be more professional and have some humanity by trying to see what other persons situation is!

I would love to given this review a rating of 0/5
The only reason I have booked with this airline was because it allowed travel with small pets.
When I went to check the booking on line two days before my flight I realized that a pet was not reflected on the itinerary. My attempts to call resulted in significant wait-delays and two dropped calls meaning I had to go through the experience three times. The third time I was advised the limit of 4 pets per flight for my departing flight was already reached and the pet could not be added, though it was fine to have the pet added on the way back (? Logic). Rote answers, no flexibility, no ability to add the pet, even though this was the primary intent of booking this particular flight and without this change the reservation is useless.
Very disappointing - will never use this airline again. Not worth it!

They charged me twice for checked bags even though I only had one bag. It would hours with customer service and I have yet to speak to anyone. More than a month later I received an email saying I would not be reimbursed since I check 2 bags. Strange since I only had one bag for a quick weekend flight. I would never use them again.

3 hours late for my Friday flight, 5 hours late to my Saturday morning flight. Understaffed at check in, understaffed at boarding. No wonder they are hours behind. You have to pay for luggage and seat. Even though you pay for a seat they can move you if the choose to a cheaper seat and not refund you. Worst planes I have seen, no WiFi, no tv's... Worst experience of my flying life. Flew down to do work and being hours late I could not get access to building. Hours late made me miss work the next day. So this flight cost me lots of money, won't ever use this company ever again

Poor Service
June 19, 2023

Unexpected change of flight departures. Flight was due to leave at 4:05 p.m. Heard from a friend that the flight had been changed that morning to 11a.m. Checked my email and saw the notice had been sent at 7:20 a.m. Mad rush to the airport, return car rental and run to the gate. Also paid for upgraded seats onfight out of Toronto only to discover that three other people had paid for and assigned THE SAME SEATS. Customer service was useless.
Pay the extra and fly with a real airline!

Return flight home Abbotsford to Toronto we were refused boarding due to expired drivers license. It is covid time.
We asked for our bag to be taken off plane, employee said it would, as there was medication now needed.
Bag was not returned to us causing health concerns.
We found out we could now extend Ontario drivers license online, and did so, attempting to re-book. We were told this is not acceptable and could not fly.
Bag should have been returned to us. We should have been able to use now valid drivers license as ID.
Thank God for Swoop Airlines, who immediately said YES, ID is acceptable by Canadian Govt, and flew us home.

Hi, i have been trying to book a flight or add luggage on my flight for a week now.
My credit card were rejected because the payment site is NOT secure therefore my bank rejected my demand. I had to buy my flight with Edreams.
Nowaday all sites have secured payment but Flair airline; Why?
I called the client service many time but noone could help me when i asked if i can pay my luggage fees in cash or if Flair airlines have a terminal at the airport where i can insert my card, type my pin in and pay my due.
Crazy that you cannot book a flight because of careless management unable to secure a payment.

SCAM AIRLINES should not even be allowed to operate in Canada. We expect better from any Canadian company. I know my complaints will get lost in the tens of thousands of other complaints, but I feel compelled to add one more. RUDENESS seems to be an employee prerequisite, not only to Rose (if that's her real name) the gate agent at YVR, but also the Philippino call centre (would you have expected it to be in Canada?) Agent and supervisor. Absolutely no one cares or can do anything. Why are they charging for a personal item that will easily fit under the seat in front? They say their maximum is 6 inches (do they not know what Metric is?). A folded over coat is thicker than 6". What a useless airline. NEVER EVER FLYING THEM AGAIN. DONT CARE HOW CHEAP IT IS. $80 for a personal item is extortion.

Worst flight ever
July 23, 2022

I book a flight from Toronto to Winnipeg on 19th july and it is my first time traveling on flair. First the ambassador of flair flight told everyone that the flight got delayed due to technical issues and they were unable to give the exact time to fix the issue. After 2 hours when the issue was fixed then they give us new seat number while boarding the flight and they assign new seats to all the passengers. After boarding the flight they told every passenger that you have to sit according to the boarding pass seat. This is ridiculous. Then they make us wait for another half hour because they have to do some paperwork and they were waiting for passengers. That makes the situation even worse. The only good thing was the pilot was able to take all the passengers safely to winnipeg. I would never recommend anyone flair flight. This is the worst experience ever.

Customer service is a joke. Their whole business model is based on ripping off customers. They charge for everything, I couldn't believe that they charge $25 just for printing the boarding pass, per passenger!
We were not able to check in online, because their website was telling us the reservation number does not exist, and we have to check in at the counter! When we arrived at the airport, they refused to check us in, apparently we HAD to check in online, even if we were willing to pay the crazy fee for printing the boarding pass! And when I contacted their customer support, they said that we had to call them! And we should just know that! Nothing on their website or their error message was telling anything about contacting them! They didn't offered a replacement ticket, any credit or any other solution to the problem caused by the issue on their website!
It's crazy, and definitely worst airline ever! Save money, time, and your sanity by just not buying from them!

The worst
July 25, 2022

If they gave me a flight for free I wouldn't go. Totally disorganized and rude to every single passenger. It was if they pulled random people off the street to be flight attendants for the night. After a 3 or 4 hour delay in leaving

It was a terrible experience ever in my life
July 16, 2022

The flight was canceled at the time when we arrived the airport! We only arrived 2 hours earlier, and they never gave us any notice before. There was no explanation and didn't help us to find the rental cars and the hotel room. Eventually, I spent around 500 dollars more on the rental car and hotel fee. Flair flight never gives any explanation!

Cheap and Cheerful
October 9, 2023

At first I was not sure about booking with this airline just because of the negative commentssss. I've been pretty happy and surprised how good our first experience was with Flair. For those used to travail in Europe, it's exactly the same service/plane/extra then Ryanair/EasyJet/Jet2. You get what you paid for. We had no issues with our bag (we only brought two full back packs), either the check in, boarding, plane. Both planes were on time and the staff were nice and friendly. The only small issue we had is that we had to pay twice our seat reservation for the return flight. I ask for a refund via the chat and they say they will refund via the original booking card (I just requested it, so I will see if I will receive my credit) but overall, everything was perfect. Keep in mind that you will not have a complimentary glass of wine or hot towels.

Flair and Flightnet work is the worst in the business. Beware of them. Both. Stole my refund. My son booked his fight to fly to Florida he tested positive. We all had to self isolated. We call flair and told them. They refuse to give us a refund. I lost 466. CAD.

Consider it a fraud
December 2, 2021

I submitted my cancelation last week due to the pandemic issue, but my travel agency just ask me to contact the airline directly today, which is one day ahead of my scheduled departure day.

To cap it all, after I talked with one of your agents, I got a $o refund, and in addition, I need to pay $2.95 after all my cancelation. How is this possible? Is this a fraud?

As a customer, I am really disappointed if this is how they deal with the customer service. I am not blaming the agent I spoke to, I believe there must be something wrong with this company and its policies. That is the most ridiculous deal I have ever had in my life.
I will try my best to let all my friends and relatives know about what happened today.

Worst customer service
October 5, 2023

Really worst experience ever. I was travelling to Vancouver on 27th of august and i added all my bags in advance as a package and stuff they do with checkin. I paid 120$ for 3 bags. Lady at the counter who checked me in was a disaster. First she make me pay extra for luggage again and then she left me at counter and went for another passenger at another stations. I was there calling her for assistance she completely ignored me. She makes me pay extra 90$ for the luggage. The timing was 1:40 pm around on that day. Really worst customer service ever. When i was coming back from Vancouver i checked in again there on 2 sept then the person who helped me didn't asked me any more money as he confirmed all of my bags were included in the package i got for 120 each as in 240 for both sides. So that means she made me pay extra for her pocket money … really horrible experience.
